I need to make more friends in creative spaces, I gotta start being able to ramble for hours about cool fursona designs I saw or and fantasy world concepts I'm pondering and be able to ask for advice on how to improve on this or how to start learning that. I just desperately miss the sense of actual connection I use to feel when I was online in my teens. I need to find more weirdos who won't judge me for being new at creating art and content and who will appreciate the niche I'm trying to fill.

me being in a new nerdy and fandom shop that happened around the beginning of December last year made me realise with all the popularisation and heavier commercialisation of once niche and specific nerdy stuff or just niche stuff in general that I'm anxious whether I'm buying something because it's cool and trendy or if I actually want it and it feels like a natural and genuine part and understanding of who I am as a person, because I fear the line is blurring with how much everything is being capitalised on. even more now, especially with social media and how accessible and global it is, shows that absolutely nothing can be off limits and we can be totally fucking aware of that.

It's going here so I'm not dumping a whole ass vent on your heads and tanking the vibe. If you want to look after the con that's fine. Its up to you, but I'm ok. Anyway,

First time I've ever been to a con and on one hand I'm having a great time,

on the other hand I think I overdid it today and now my brain is punishing me for it lol. Ya ever have the Everything Is Wrong (tm) vibes going on? Yeah, that. I'm getting hit over the head with every mental illness in my medication tracker and I'm having a not so great time rn. Also, just for the record, insecurity is a bitch and if anyone ever finds a personification of it I will happily fight it in a parking lot. Gotta remember my earplugs tomorrow because holy shit. I though the overload in the moment was bad but for the rest of the day I've felt like my brain isn't working properly and I misspeak every other sentence. Going to eat something and shower and fingers crossed that resets things a bit. Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't.

Just not feeling too great about myself. It'll pass, it has to. I talk a lot about how wonderful life is and how fascinating existence is as a whole, this is just proof that I know its not always sunshine and rainbows. Depression sucks, I know. Just gotta get through it.

Tomorrow is another day. I hope to see you there in the sunshine.

i am so unbelievably tired of houses that don't look lived in. houses that adhere to a specific aesthetic and level of cleanliness that doesn't budge - ever. kitchens and living rooms that look bleat and straight out of a rental ad, with no touch of personality whatsoever.

Imagine working as one of the scouts, mostly because your smaller size allowed you to fly undetected and get into tight spaces...and your first meeting with Konig was literally because you made a small nest in one of the unused vents of the base. You weren't aware that it was a vent with one end ending up near the colonel's quarters...and you didn't know that your soft moans and mumbling in your sleep were keeping him up at night. He was so freaking horny, endlessly searching for the source of the sound and wonderful smell - he just wasn't aware that a perfect mate can be so close. You're his direct opposite - he is the sea monster, you belong to the skies. You don't know how to swim, you hate getting your wings wet - still, you are trying your best to be respectful towards the colonel, understanding exactly how hard his work is. You're respectful, you're undetectable, you're flying under the radar...and yet, somehow, he manages to get you. Konig often uses your wings and your fluffy, feathery tail to overstimulate you - he knows how sensitive it is, how even the slightest touch to your feathers will somehow make you tremble, even though it doesn't really make sense...and he can drive you crazy from just biting on the hard part of your wings, making you scared that he will rip them away. It would be so easy, too - chain his little birdie down in their gilded cage, only allow her to go out if she promises to never go away...he won't be like this, of course...or you hope so, at least. Konig makes you the prettiest nest with the shiniest trinkets - he especially dives to the deepest part of the nearest seas so he can give you some shiny pearls and little shells, smiling as you parade your trophies around and display them in your nest. At least your harpy nature made it easier for you to carry his eggs...although your protective nesting behavior is far more adorable when you're a bit dizzy.
