Sun In The 10th House

The legendary Sun in the 10th House. It is where the Sun is right at the Apex. Natives with such a placement work very hard to get to the top. It does not just stop there. They work hard to STAY at the top. Even if it gets lonely right at the top, these natives never stop till they achieve their goal. Rather they strive hard to possess and maintain an excellent image.

Alternatively, Sun in the 10th House natives aim to be pioneers in their craftsmanship. Since the Sun resides in the House of Capricorn (10th House), it works to maintain its image. Just like how the Sun cannot suddenly dim its light, these natives constantly work hard to shine their light so brightly. Just like how a Capricorn native works to prove his/her worth in society, Sun in the 10th House natives are staunch believers in working hard for this own money (Sun rules self, 10th House rules workmanship). As a result, people (especially the public) respect their hardwork and reward them for it.

The Sun in Astrology

To start off my tumblr, it feels only fitting to start with the planet (or “luminary” if you wanna be technical) that makes all of astrology even possible, the Sun☀️💛

When we think of the Sun, we usually think of the bright ball of warmth that’s out in the sky during the day. In astrology, the Sun is representative of the ego and the way we wish to be perceived in our lifetime. The Sun in our charts, like the actual Sun in the sky, is the force that gives light to all the planets and asteroids in the rest of our charts. Every time we have to confront a new experience, our Sun tends to take over our personality. This is because our Sun (along with Mars) is the planet that gives us the vitality & integrity to try things out at least once (then our moon takes over that experience in the future because we think back to the first time we did it to see how we can go about it again if we have to..... but we’ll save that for a later post🤭). The Sun can also represent how we wished to be perceived or known & the things we wish to express & be recognized for. (ie. pisces suns tend to want to be perceived as ultra-compassionate & as the ones willing to listen to you when no one else will.)

However, with all of this being said, you must make a conscious effort to seek out the types of experiences that will reinforce your Sun.
