we all learned that "it's just a joke" isn't an excuse for rape jokes because they're an undeniable part of rape culture and I'm genuinely glad that we all got comfortable calling people like that rape apologists and consequently that not a single joke like that has gained popularity in recent years.

My husband and I were watching CNN update live as the jury verdicts came out in Donald Trump's hush money trial. GUILTY ON ALL 34 COUNTS!

I haven't been able to watch any of it because even just looking at his face makes me ill, but good. I hope all his appeals fail. I hope this actually means something. (Mostly, I just hope he croaks)
