I tried to replicate the style of Twisted Wonderland's SSR cards and have a better grasp of all I still have yet to learn about drawing. Also I'd like to clarify for the Home Transition 3 voice-line, anyone saying she looks good enough to eat are just joking and teasing her. She doesn't quite realize that and is thinking they're threatening to actually eat her. Not vore her, eat her. Such innuendos don't really exist where she's from thanks to the literal threat of being eaten alive by giant man-eating beasts.

I do have the vignette story written, but I plan to share that with the groovy art, which I'm going to heavily procrasinate doing- Though hopefully now that I've done this one, I wont make the same mistakes where I remade the floor twice and realized afterwards I was using the wrong image for reference for the background. I fixed it using blue-green layers because I couldn't handle redoing the entire background. Kept remaking the floor because of trying to figure out how the floor would look, how to draw it, then ending up following a tutorial while completely forgetting the tiles are diagonal which the tutorial was not. Eventually realized I didn't even need to do that as I most likely only needed one to three rhombuses.

AKA: Ashi’s 1K follower event! hosted by: 🌺🦊🛍️

EVENT SUMMARY:

“Say, haven’t you ever gotten tired of all the strenuous, brain-numbing labor that comes with being an NRC student? Then, say no more~.”

Night Raven College’s new student-ran event, hosted by Ashi Tamadai, the Ramshackle prefect, Niko Cimarron, a Scarabia second year, and Atlan Trein, a Pomefiore second year, introduce to you a courtyard makeover! Decorated with cheerful decorations that’ll put you in a mood to kick back and relax, this program is meant to bring the student body together, to make some happy school memories!

“Don’t forget, an important part is the fact that there’s like, no magic needed. So tell everyone you know! You don’t want to be the only one NOT going, right?!”

At this school-side staycation, students are welcome to tan on some chairs, buy a pawpsicle to enjoy in the hot, late summer sun, or even just sit and chat with friends! Anything is welcome here— A karaoke session is planned, and so is a water balloon fight! The point is to relax. No magic is needed to have fun, and it’s preferred if you didn’t use any at all. All classes are cancelled and even the teachers and staff are bound to swing by! Isn’t that so kind of the people who organized it?

Anyone is welcome to join!

Pretty much everything can be an entry; artworks, fan made cards, drabbles, edits, etc etc. As long as it’s appropriate, does not have anything NSFW, and doesn’t have any sensitive content. It’s supposed to be a lighthearted party!

Utilizing parts of the event are highly appreciated, but defo not needed. For example, if you were to draw your character in the midst of a water balloon fight, eating a pawpsicle, etc etc. Just ideas, but no pressure!

All characters can be used for this event. Canon characters (staff, side characters like RSA, etc), and of coursies any OCs/yuus! I don’t mind any multiple entries for a canon character either. Have funsies!

If your entry prompts an OC interaction, I’ll try my best to reply with a chibi and interaction back.

The aesthetic is a sort of summer-like feel. A cheerful summer day where you laugh with friends and have fun while taking bites from your favorite ice cream. Making memories that you’ll never forget!

The dress code is not strict at all. The only necessary thing is that you must wear something bright and/or colorful. Tis an Ashi rule! Otherwise, it’s completely fine if it’s just a slight variation of the NRC uniform, or maybe a completely new outfit nonetheless. I’m not one to judge your fashion choices.

If you want to interact with my characters, here’s what they’ll most likely be up to:

🌺: Since she’s the actual host, Ashi will most likely be walking around and chatting up with everyone. Open to taking pictures, hyping up the crowd, announcing when the water balloon fight and karaoke will be starting— You’ll most likely find her basically doing everything she can. She’ll be there the entire time!

🦊: As the co-host of the event, Niko will also be walking around and be there all day, additionally with the fact that he’ll be selling his pawpsicles. And advertising them. To everyone. No matter what, he’ll probably walk up to your character and every character in attempts to sell something. He’s not as hyped up as Ashi, but he’s 100% enjoying his time.

🛍️: Atlan, despite only being recruited to spread word of the day off, can be pretty easily found within the crowd at the celebration. He’s trying his best to talk, despite the fact that he’s hiding behind a wall and his oresama aura. If you were to walk up to him and start a conversation, he’d be flustered but reply excitedly.

i had fun with the voice lines aaah but it might have some changes when i’m done with the groovy (and i’ll properly put her in an actual card template)

also slight lore drop from one of the voice lines: yuusha has experience hosting formal parties pre-twst. basically she just locks in (a bit too heavily) when she has hosting duties.

Twst fancard: Bobo's School Uniform

I plan to do card art of Bobo for every type of card Twisted Wonderland has. The default art I will have voice-lines accompany it and the groovy art will have the vignette with it. This is also my introduction of Bobo as my Twisted Wonderland MC.

Since her birthday is basically at the start of the school year, she's already seventeen in her freshman year. I could have made it that she just turned sixteen, but I wanted that one extra year before she gets torn from her world. I won't introduce everything about her as I plan to cover a good amount in her own character intro post since she is an oc of mine. Just using her as a twst mc is for pure fun.

At a height of five foot and one inch, a.k.a. a hundred-fifty-five centimeters, she's the third shortest person amongst Twisted Wonderland's cast. The two shorter ones being Ortho and Grim.

Considering her studentship is shared with Grim, I do have to wonder if the mc can actually join a club. If anything I'm guessing mc doesn't have to join any club as Grim being part of one counts. Though if Bobo had the chance she would join Jade's Mountain Lover club. This would be because she loves to explore and getting to go hike on mountains would fulfill that. Also it would give her an excuse to leave the campus every now and then. She also would like to learn more about surface flora since she feels such information can be quite vital to survival.

I was considering maybe Alchemy would be her best subject simply because she does have the ability to learn and memorize what a bunch of different ingredients do. Though really considering how she is in her own canon world, P.E. is her best subject. Also looking through wikis I've realized Flight class is not really the same as P.E.. To me I don't think anyone with no magic could use a broom. Bobo will probably try to bargain with Coach Vargas to let her do physical training during flight classes, that is, if she can't just skip the class since really only Grim could participate and with them being one student it should still count towards their grade if it's only Grim in flight class.

She's used to surpressing her emotions and true feelings about things in order to do stuff for the greater good. So in a school full of people who seem to really believe in only doing what's good for themselves, she's quite the confusing being. Her motto is basically "noblesse oblige". She has grown serving others with limited time to do what she truly wants, even to the point that she gets very little sleep.

Bobo wants to go back home. She's torn between believing she needs to go back and between trusting that things will work out without her. While this could be a chance of freedom from her obligations in life, she can't quite handle how useless she feels here. To her, magic so easily outpowers anything she could possibly do. Here she doesn't even have her beloved hammer, a weapon she used to dominate attention and the battlefield back home.

Amongst my other ocs, Bobo fits in to follow the storyline the best. All my others would break the flow in varying degrees. Tap Home 4: Hopefully, I'll have time to go check out the other side of the island. I heard that there's a great diversity of merfolk hunkered down there, and I'd love to check out their ways of life - without being disruptive or weird, of course! Maybe they even speak a similar language to the ones near the shore at home.

Tap Home 5: That spade student nearly lost his kite. It'd be a shame if he did. I hope he can keep a firm grip on the string.

I tried to challenge myself with this card. I wanted to go for an action shot that created some really dynamic lighting, and I think I actually pulled it off pretty well!

I don't have any design rough drafts to share this time around. Admittedly I actually designed this card on the spot as I was sketching, which isn't what I normally do. But it felt most appropriate to follow the lines of movement rather than create a pose based around a fit this time around.

the event is basically perfect for Rosienne, especially with his updated design, so i HAD to make a card for him. coming up with an outfit for him was so much fun tbh

i used my other OC for the duo magic lines but i don't know if i'm gonna make a card for him as well because boy did this drain my energy
