🍓He grew up as an only child and as far as he knows has no family left in NC, the NUSA, or any neighboring states/countries in North America. But he had cousins roughly his age on his father's side of the family in Japan - but no contact to them anymore for over a decade now. He's sure they would neither recognize him nor want anything to do with him, and he has no desire to reconnect, either, if they're all still around (probably working corporate jobs for Arasaka, like almost everyone in his family).

🍓 His first tattoo that he got at 16 was a stick and poke done by a boy he had a big crush on at the time. It's the Ursa Major constellation on his right arm. It's small, it's wonky, it's in a weird position, but he doesn't have the heart to get it covered up.

🍓 His favourite color is - to no one's surprise - purple.

Flake: Almost exclusively drinks water and a diverse variety of boozy beverages; typically cocktails but she’s not really all that picky otherwise. Someone help her.

Carlisle: Partial to tea, but also enjoys coffee from time to time. How she takes the former depends on how she’s feeling - sometimes black, sometimes with cream and sugar.

Chicory: Very fond of flavoured tisane and tea blends (often black or rooibos), served hot with cream or milk and lots of sugar.

i much prefer writing oneshots to multichap fics, mostly because my ideas don't really feel like they would need to have multiple chapters. i tend to write short fics but i wish i could write longer ones!! i've been gradually trying to get my usual word higher :)

i like writing romantic dynamics because of The Yearning <3 i specifically love writing polyamory bc seeing the ways different romantic dynamics vary from person to person in the relationship is always so much fun to explore!!

“Oh way back in high school! I was sixteen… so almost nine years ago, Ki transferred to Phoenix Drop and we met through Aphmau. We probably wouldn’t have met otherwise, I was a senior and he was a junior— plus he was kind of weird with people.”

“But that that was the first time I heard of him, Aph talked a lot about him the year before,” He hums and looks back at me.

“Aph was more obsessed with you than Aaron, you know,” He teases.

💚 green ― what was the first thing you ever said to s/i? why?

“Ooohhh,” Laurance laughs nervously. “I mean it was so long ago, I couldn’t remember, hah.”

“You said: oh, the creep’s brother.”

Laurance shakes his head at my answer. “I didn’t! I said hello like a regular person!”

“Nuh-uh, you definitely said that.” I smile. “…but I wasn’t supposed to hear i-iii-ttt.”

He sounds annoyed. “Aaron was creepy though!” He whispers.

🩶 grey ― how long have you and s/i known each other? when did you officially become "close"?

“Since I was sixteen and he was fifteen, about nine years as of right now.” He laughs. “It’s kind of complicated, we got close at the end of that same year we met, whi-i-ich.. was a result of the whole fake-dating thing—”

Laurance’s laughter quiets, and he clears his throat. “The fake dating thing… we got close, but that ended pretty quick after.”

“We didn’t start talking again until my third year of college when I transferred. I didn’t even know we went to the same school until Aph mentioned it!” He pauses to think. “But really, we didn’t get close close the next year, and we started dating around the time I graduated.”

omg so like, Dazai and the shipping container incident with him getting shipped overseas got me thinking... (I am super late to reading it 😭)

Chuuya, unaware of what happened in the moment because he had been sent overseas himself for an international mission, and he had to go out and scout a foreign shipyard for illegal weapon shipments.

AT THE SAME TIME, he conveniently receives a message forward by Mori to be on the lookout for one of their own agents because a Port Mafia member had been taken hostage around the location Chuuya was in.

Chuuya's ??? because why hadn't he been notified that someone was also either on the same mission as him or had managed to be such a bumbling fool that they got caught by foreign enemies. ANYWAY, he keeps an eye out for anything suspicious while still working on his own mission when he sees a particular area of the shipyard had been surrounded by armed foreign criminals, so he's ready to go bust some ass when they all swing the shipping container doors open and barge in to see Dazai there.

Chuuya just facepalms himself in disbelief because he can't believe Dazai followed him all the way to another country (even though it was totally coincidental) but also, he's not even surprised that Dazai managed to get himself caught by the enemy. Again.

They kick some enemy ass and Dazai gets shipped back home on the next plane back to Yokohama, and Chuuya overhears Dazai complaining to Mori on the phone: "What about my home?!"

I have a question if you don't mind, for the cast of the wretched au, do some of them not entirely have consciousness? Like you said before, Caine makes additions to them mentally (sometimes). So has Caine ever stripped someone of their personality/consciousness before? Sorry if my question is confusing, I'm just a tad confused on thr info. I had a similar ask about this recently!

only certain players minds are altered to fit Caines criteria. And the line between trauma responses and Caines own additions can most certainly be blurred. Pomni, for example, acts like a skittish animal due to what she has experienced, but she has hunting instincs given by Caine... i hope that helps answer your question!
