i don't think there is anything more dear to me than the weird "it's not romantic, it's not sexual, but 'platonic' and 'familial' don't quite cover it" relationship between:

the edgelord who may or may not have committed several atrocities.

the ray of sunshine who has been through too many atrocities but remains a ray of sunshine regardless/in spite of it.

Why Undyne doesn’t attack Frisk from the start

Undyne notices Frisk’s presence as soon as they move after either finishing her meeting with Papyrus or understanding that he won’t show up.

She saw them, Frisk is right in front of her, she has the high ground and she has every opportunity to throw as many spears at the defenseless human as she wants.

Even monster kid points out that Undyne was staring at Frisk, she was considering doing it.

So why didn’t she ? This would be a golden opportunity to strike down the human wouldn’t it ?

The answer to this question actually comes from the phone calls after befriending Undyne, when calling her in this room, she states the following :

After confirming that she did indeed see Frisk and wanted to kill them on the spot, she explains that the reason she didn’t was because Frisk happened to be hiding in sea-grass under scientific protection.

This isn’t the only time the grass stops her either.

During the first chase scene, Undyne suddenly stops throwing spears once Frisk starts hiding in the grass.

Instead, she tries to find them on foot only to give up shortly.

When calling Undyne in this room, she once again calls out out the grass as the reason why she did this rather than continuing to throw spears everywhere.

This seems a bit strange from Undyne, why does she care about this grass so much that getting the last human soul monsters need still wouldn’t be enough of a reason to destroy it if necessary ?

It is because Alphys is the one who needs this grass and put it under scientific protection. She needs it in order to get this machine to work and produce this pink substance.

So what exactly does this grass allow Alphys to make ? What is this weird substance ?

Well Undyne seems to like it at least, unlike normal ice cream.

Alphys's big mistake and regret is using determination to create the amalgamates, the melted puddles of monsters

Undyne has "too much determination for her own good" and ends up melting herself to try and stop you

You never see them close together because they happen in different routes, but that must have been so hard for Alphys to watch

The person she loves falling to the fate she had doomed others to?

That's heartbreaking...

Last day of pride month drawing.

For the last day of pride month i felt like drawing what i wanted to draw. I had alot of fun with this drawing, and looking back at my pride month drawing from last year i can really see how much better i have gotten.
