I can’t believe how frustrating it is to import and share files among different devices is in this, the year of our lord 2025. If you scan directly but wirelessly to iPad, or even try to digitally share a high quality file you scanned elsewhere, even BETWEEN apple devices with their own airdrop system, the file quality is DRASTICALLY reduced and there’s nothing you can do about it! And if you google why this is happening, the answer is “our products don’t do that so it can’t be happening and don’t worry about it :)”

Born into a military family. Traveled around a lot, never stayed in one place for long. Learned early on not to form attachments to places, things, or people.

Was a rebellious teen until his father called his bluff. He had one route in life, the same route his father took. It didn't matter that he was incredibly gifted or that his love for tech could've led him to big places. He acted out and because of that, his father pushed him onto the straight and narrow path.

He learned the hard way that the more he rebelled, the harder his father pushed him. He made threats of leaving and his father took every precaution to ensure that wasn't an option. He was in and he was going to stick to that commitment, regardless of the cost.

He royally fucked up on one of his first missions out. He told them he wasn't ready and the rebellious streak was still alive and well. He made a mistake and that mistake cost him most of his platoon. The incident report read differently though, thanks to his father's rank and ability to twist the truth.

So, rather than walking away in cuffs, Kareem was medically discharged and written off as a hero. Knowing the truth, he took the out and never looked back. He still harbors that guilt and has fear that the true will find it's way out eventually.

He got into private investigation work when an old friend called in a favor. They knew Kareem was tech-savvy and he'd picked up a thing or two during his deployment. When he realized he was good at the job, he started doing it for a living, obtaining the credentials he needed in order to work legitimately.

He uses what he learns about people to cover up his own past. It's like trial and error, except he doesn't have to make the mistakes in order to fix them.

For the most part, he has a code that he follows, but if the money is good, he'll bend his own rules a bit, but never too far. His most recent case has led him to Woodside. The amount of money promised was the first red flag, the second was the amount of information handed to him on a silver platter. Despite the alarms sounding off in his head, he's there and he's looking to write off another job before taking the next.

ive had a ptp folder on my usb for like a whole month or so and i just now added the ptp manga and some of the videos in the extras folder to it👅👅👅

I got my siblings raspberry pi zero w kits for christmas so they can set up pi-hole and I'm trying to save them a lot of trial-and-error hassle by typing up simple instructions but. it's hard when I don't even know what routers they have? bc that can complicate things.

ugh I better make sure they don't have fucking AT&T

anyway I'm doing the desktop environment version of the os bc I don't feel like coordinating getting their router logins and fucking IP ranges or whatever to do headless setup, and setting up wifi via the command line is a little weird so the lite os wouldn't work either (again I am trying to keep this simple). Plus idk how complicated SSH is for headless setup, I've never done it and even though I'm sure I could I don't wanna add on any weirdness for them to deal with. but I'm like. should I go so far as to install the os's for them or is just imaging the sd cards enough...

I also keep having to fight the impulse to be like "well I don't want to do all the FUN STUFF and leave none for THEM!" because like. I Am An Outlier in that respect I think.
