Now I'm thinking this vampire reader thing should extend to other Saerans so....what about Unknown. Oops the assistant turned out to be a vampire what he gon do. And I wonder about GE as well.....................

GE Saeran's favorite time of day? When the night met the day, and the moon fell in love with the sun. There were only two times during the day when he could show you the sunshine and the hazy blue sky that shifted into oranges, pinks, blues, reds, and purples... that blue sky was his favorite but you weren't always privy to it. How could one vampire see the sky when it was meant to torture them?

The sun wasn't very good for you, it would burn you, and if you were forced to stand in it longer than a couple of minutes, you might just waste away.

It wasn't fair.

How long had it been since you had seen the blue sky? How long had you spent your eternity clamoring for a chance to know what it felt like to be warm again? You never told him how you became a vampire in the first place but from that dazed look in your eyes whenever it came up, he knew it wasn’t a good memory. He didn't expect you to tell him how it happened or how long you had been living this way, but he knew in his heart that no matter how you felt, you yearned for what you could no longer have. 

You yearned for the sky just as he had when he was a little boy.

He couldn't blame you for dreaming, but he was surprised you never once considered going outside during the morning or late evening on your own. If the sun wasn't high in the sky, it couldn't hurt, so why in the world did you avoid it until you met him? What if it had to do with the pain in your heart? What if someone tried to use the sun to hurt... to hurt you? What if the sunshine held pain for you when it used to... bring you joy?

The thought made his chest ache.

Yet, even if you were scared, you still agreed to sit on the front porch with him to watch the sunrise. You talked about how good it was for you to see the sunrise from afar inside the safety of a building, but it was different from seeing it on the outside. You weren't as safe when you were outside, but he promised to protect you and help you feel a little safer than you would feel otherwise.

You pressed your head against his shoulder, and he wrapped an arm around your waist. He knew the tell-tale feeling of your tremble, that sincere response of fear that only he was privy to because you would not show weakness in front of anyone but Saeran. He wouldn't ask to see you suffer, never, nor would you do the same for him. But, if you were scared... he'd never ask you to stay with him. You were allowed to be afraid of something that hurt you, and he knew better than to belittle such a serious fear in your heart.

"Do you want to go inside?"

You buried your head against his left side. If you wanted to leave, you would leave. You weren't tied down to him. He knew he wouldn't say a single word if you had to sprint away.

Your voice trembled. "No."

"Are you sure, my love?"

"Yes."

"You're allowed to say no if you're uncomfortable. I only asked you to join me this morning because I've seen you frown during the day if I leave you to work on our garden... I know you want to join me, but it isn't safe for you to come outside, even with the appropriate clothes to protect you from sun damage. I thought... this would be a safe way to give you the sun again, my love. But, if you're afraid, we can go to bed and return to the safety of each other's arms," he murmured.

"I miss it."

"Mmm?"

"I miss the sunshine... more than anyone. It's what I've missed most all these years... but when I met you, Saeran... when I met you... it... it was almost as if I had found the sunlight again. Seeing you smile... it reminds me how good it felt to sunbathe when I was a little kid. If I'm only allowed to feel warm underneath the glow of sunlight, I do truly hope it's yours I find comfort in for the rest of my days. I've seen your eyes... I've seen the happiness you experience when you see the sky. I want to... I want to see it in your eyes in person... not behind a door."

He held you that might tighter, "Then, open your eyes, my dearest one. The sky is bathed in morning dew... and its gentle light is giving us its gentle caress."

"It's touching me...?"

"It is, and you're not burned," he promised.

Hearing his voice made you lift your head and stare into the horizon where the sunshine refused to hurt you, and instead, welcomed you back into its open arms with light. He couldn't give you back the life you lost, but he knew he could offer you the next best thing, a gentle reminder that you were allowed to love the sunrise and sunset, given it would never hurt you like those who changed you had done.

Unknown never expected to pick up an assistant, nor did he expect to find one who didn't need to consume any food to survive. But, in his haste to remove someone who had no idea how a cellphone even worked, he made the mistake of dragging his prey back to his office without realizing that the windowless room was the perfect place to become prey himself.

Your sharpened fangs and wild eyes were one of the reasons he was drawn to you, but he thought it was a fashion trend.

Never did he once believe that your fangs would be as real as he was. Your teeth were sharper than any knife, and in the light of his flashing monitors, you looked more like a monster than he ever did. He didn't know how to feel about it, but, he was caught like a cat who nabbed the canary, only to realize the bird was far larger than he was.

You were useful, though.

For whatever reason, he picked up a creature of the night who didn't want to hurt anybody. Even if somebody had it coming, you weren’t the type to make anybody pay for it. Leave it to him to find a pacifist vampire, he hissed under his breath when you made yourself known to him. You could be of use to me if you used your fangs and almost impossible strength to tear apart my enemies... or bring them to me in an instant.

You wouldn't do that.

So, he had to make better use of you. He made you his assistant because it was far easier to have someone who only needed blood to survive. It didn't cause any trouble with his work and meant he didn't have to waste his time leaving his office to care for a lowly assistant. He didn't even have to worry about taking care of you, you took care of yourself. At least, for the most part, he couldn't let you stray far... if you left Mint Eye, you would run away from him, after all.

Which was how you came to this conclusion in the first place. Your teeth buried in his neck for a meal while his fingers continued to tap and hammer away on his mission. Since he was sitting down, he did not have to stop what he was doing to deal with the loss of blood. By the time he stood up again, his body had already gotten used to the blood loss and he could move around without too much effort. That was a fair deal.

You were good at convincing people to leave him alone, you had organized all the files he'd managed to steal from the RFA, and you knew how to operate a camera system. All that in exchange for a few measly drops of blood? It wasn't that difficult to make that deal in the first place. It was easier to deal with your damned fangs than it was to go to the basement and have elixir poured down his throat.

If he had to pick between the two different types of pain, he'd pick your fangs every time.

His vision blurred as your tongue lapped up the blood that cascaded down his throat. "Sorry, boss," your quiet voice broke through the soft sound of his ears ringing. "You taste so sweet to me for some reason. I might have taken more than I was allowed. You're the only human I have ever met was willing to give me blood, after all. It's hard to tell what's too much sometimes."

"My blood is all you need," his haughty voice cut through the haze of delirium. "You should.... count yourself... lucky that I let you feed off... off of me... in... in the first... place..."

Your hand stroked the side of his head, pushing back the bangs from his face as his clammy skin revealed itself. "Rest, my sweet human... even though I made sure you ate before I did, I know that was a lot to lose all at once."

"I'm not w..."

"You're not weak in the slightest," you assured him. You lifted your head to reveal your bloodstained lips, covered with traces of the very source of his life. It made his heart quiver and his body heat up with desire he couldn't yet understand as you added to your words with a twisted grin, "You're just my favorite treat."

Why... does it feel so good... to be yours?

Have you played other otome games? 👀

I actually play a few different ones. 😂

It’s not technically an otome game but Twisted Wonderland is the game I play most after Obey Me. The story is so fun and well-written. Crowley is my favourite character—I’m working on a twst side blog to dump my incoherent screeching about him.

I love Arcana Twilight but the story is…done? On hiatus? I don’t know but I’m holding onto hope that we’ll eventually get more later.

I really like the Ikemen series — I haven’t tried Villains yet but I love Revolution/Sengoku/Vampire/Prince.

What In Hell Is Bad is awesome lol. I really like the artwork and it’s nice for something casual to play even though the translation kind of sucks.

I re-play Mystic Messenger when I’m bored, I think Jumin, V and Ray/Saeran are my favourite routes.

I played Dangerous Fellows casually just for Lawrence (worth it).

I used to play Court of Darkness but so many of the suitors were just…not it. The stories or the MC (or both) let me down more often than not.

Special shout-out to the numerous visual novel and PC games I play too: A Date with Death, Blooming Panic, Error 143 and 14 Days with You are some of my favs.

Remember when Zen had a phase where he kept calling himself a Greek god?

He even edited his face over the statue of one.

Not to mention, he poses as Aphrodite on the April Fool's cover (mans better watch out for her 😭).

So, it comes to no one's surprise that Zen would dress up as an ancient God.

Of course he loves to show himself off, so he'll wear a sort of silky, white cloth draped around his body, paired with gold sandals.

He'll tie back his hair with a golden hairpiece.

Leaves absolutely nothing to the imagination. His abs are on full display and he takes a bunch of photos lol

For some reason I can see Zen using body glitter?? If he was rocking up to a Halloween party, then all those lights are gonna be competing with Zen since he's the most shimmery one there.

I know this might be a little bit biased,

BUT WHO CAN SAY NO TO A PHANTOM OF THE OPERA SAERAN?

Like oh my god he is literally so gorgeous in this costume

His hair is gelled up and styled to one side, and he's wearing a sleek black suit

He's also wearing the iconic white mask

His pants have chains on them because just yes

Saeran wearing suits isn't an uncommon theme, and while Suit Saeran isn't exactly one of the best versions of himself, I think it'd still be cool if he incorporated chains in his POTO costume.

Hm... that's a great question! You're definitely only asking for research purposes, I'm sure. So, Suit Saeran as a vampire. What will he try and do to sustain himself? Well, to consider that, we'll have to think about how he awoke in the first place.

So, what could have possibly happened in this situation to have put him in a position where he had to wake up in the first place? If you ask me, considering the canon I set up in that oneshot, I imagine it could only be Rika realizing the truth about your status as Ray's mate, given the fact that your blood tasted like Heaven to him and he could never get enough of it. I imagine he made a mistake and that fact was revealed.

Well, it would force her hand and make her lock you away in your room far, far from Ray.

The reason why she decided to do that would not be clear until later, but being away from you and being forced to work into the ground would only put him into a position where he worked himself until he couldn't take the thirst anymore. The thing with him in this universe is that he becomes more and more frenzied the longer he's away from you, and while he doesn't want to hurt anybody, he can't exactly control blood lust.

I think it would overwhelm him to the point where he couldn't handle it anymore, and he shut down, allowing Suit Saeran to step in because that’s his entire thing. His entire role as he sees it is to step in when Ray can no longer exist to be strong in the way they have to be to survive in this place. 

Of course, he would struggle with the blood lust as well, but I imagine if he was able to prove himself in some capacity through his anger, she would allow him the opportunity to toy with you at his worst. I imagine she believes if she lets him get thirsty enough, it won't take much for him to get rid of you and that'll take care of her problem. It never goes according to her plan, though. Things never work out the way she intends them to! 

So, even though she put him in the position where he should want nothing more than to drain you dry, he wouldn't be able to do it. He would toy with you like a cage animal for some time, but he would never take enough blood to hurt you. He isn't the type to spoil you the way Ray did by making sure you had everything you needed after losing some blood, but he would shove juice in your hands with a deep scowl on his face, “My blood bag can’t perish when I'm just getting started. Drink that.” 

However, I do have a sinking suspicion that he would have a moment where he drinks way more blood than he intends to, and that is what stuns him to the point of losing control and allows Ray to suddenly appear once again. Just as it happens in the regular universe when he pushes you too far and he repeats the words his mother once said to him and it viscerally charges him into a state of silence. Ray is petrified of putting you in a state like that, so I imagine it would leave him unable to focus as well when he sees you unable to do anything because you are bleary-eyed and dizzy. 

It is the guilt of losing control that would haunt both of them. There would be some kind of conversation about that guilt and what it means to lose control with somebody as vulnerable as you. But, you would be quick to say that they are just as vulnerable, just in a different way. Neither of them intended to drain you dry but they were put in a place where they could no longer control their actions no matter how much they fought to. The desire to quench thirst is insurmountable for a vampire. 

I am still not entirely sure how we would get to the point where GE Saeran could wake up. It would take a little bit of canoodling because ultimate universes do not always play out the way things do in canon. So while I am not entirely sure how I would piece that together, I do know I can tell you a about what kind of vampire he would be to make up for it!

That is if you manage to make it out of this situation without becoming a vampire yourself. 

GE Saeran has a routine.

He creates a routine with you because he doesn't want to fall into another predicament where he makes a mistake again and he loses control. I imagine it would be quite helpful to be close to Jumin in this situation. Canonically, he has communication with a vampire, so it wouldn't take that much work for him to be able to supply blood when needed. That would be great as it could take care of most of the pressure in this situation to make sure he can feed.

Of course, the insatiable desire to have yours would never go away. I believe I described that situation very well for Ray. He wants to have you more than anything and his body stops at no length to make him reach out and take it no matter how controlled he thinks he is. So, he would have to create a routine where he can enjoy himself and you can enjoy yourself as well. 

Your energy is going to be spread then after that situation, so he would make sure to prepare an entire meal for you after his meal. He also prepares the first aid kit and a dozen other means that could give you what you need when you need it. Some may say that he is over-prepared for the situation but he would rather be over-prepared than under-prepared in the long run because you matter more to him than any drop of selfish blood.

It's better to have too much of something than too little.

Mystictober 2022 | Day 30 - Trick or Treat

Summary: What's the best way to celebrate Halloween if not having a movie night in fitting costumes.

“TRICK OR TREAT!” The redhead jumped in front of the blond college student who just entered the hall. It milked a high-pitched screeching out of the poor boy. “AH– SAEOYUNG!”

The costume of the reaper had been the best idea for Saeyoung considering the mask did the job of actually giving him a scary aspect when being nothing but a bundle of good vibes in general. Yoosung pressed his hand against his heart; feeling the pluse underneath the wolf costume beat twice as fast.

He threw a death glare to his friend after entering the house. “Jeez, you're so damn evil!” But Saeoyung only shurgged his shoulders. “Oh what, don't be so whiny! It's Halloweeeen~”

He drew out the world in a low tone on purpose, having Yoosung frown uncertain. But as soon as he entered the living room, all the previous thoughts about getting back at Saeoyung disappeared. His lilac colored eyes widened when meeting the wide smile of Zen who wore the vampire costume this year.

“There you are, you took long.” The actor rubbed his hands clean from the preparation, getting sorry eyes in return. “My bad guys, too much traffic for the bus.” Yoosung mumbled.

Jumin sat on the couch with Saeran and Jaehee; seemingly playing a boardgame together. The CEO put his little red figure one filed back what had Saeran sigh out in defeat. “But now you're here, which means we're complete.”

Jaehee pulled her witch hat right; giving her boss dressed up as a Frankenstein movie figure narrowed eyes. “So we will all do this together?” She wondered out loud as if she's still debating about it being a good idea or not.

Saeyoung left her with a loud pat to the shoulder, meeting her angered expression with a wide smile. “Hell yeah!” He laughed. “This will be an awesome Halloween!”

“What about the sweets?” Saeran pointed to the kitchen behind his older brother, the devil ears slightly slipping here and there whenever he moved his head into a specific angle.

Saeoyung followed his fingertip, having the redhead gasp out. “Oh shit you're right.” Zen lifted both hands by reflex as the energetic twin basically rushed past him. “Ay,” He yelled out in shock. “You almost made me spill the drinks!”

Paying them no mind, Yoosung sat down at the edge of the couch. “What are you guys playing?” He watched Jaehee throw the dice as the man with dark black hair looked over. “I am not certain but it's supposed to be a popular game.”

Yoosung nodded to Jumin's words. Not very surprised the CEO wasn't familiar with something as common as boardgames. “It's actually fun,” Saeran interrupted his thoughts, smiling slightly. “You can join us next round?” He offered.

Jaehee pushed her glasses back up by the words. “I assume it would be fun if you wouldn't win the entire time.” Although she's accusing him, there's hidden amusement to find in her voice.

Jumin took a slip of his wine while Saeran scratched his cheek in embarrassment. The noises coming from the kitchen urged closer due to Zen scolding Saeyoung for God knows what reasons again, it's never quite peaceful together. Was this the definition of Trick or Treat in the RFA?

But the former hacker came out with a big bowl of sweets in one hand, and one with popcorn in the other. “You all ready for the movie night?”

He rocked back on his heels; urging the actor to facepalm himself. “Why again did we have to dress up when this is supposed to be a movie night, huh?” Saeoyung blinked innocent.

Yoosung held a groan back as the redhead bit the tip of his tongue. “For the flavor of Halloween!” He cheered and Jumin couldn't help grin by the annoyance crawling over Zen's face.

Jaehee took her own glas, already accepting her fate there and then. “Well, happy Halloween.” Saeran's the fastest to take his and toast her. “Sure, let's celebrate with some movies.”

Yoosung got handed his own glas by Zen, they both toasted as well. “I'm actually looking forward to see the kids reactions to our outfits!” He seemed happy and Zen joined in. “Bet they love to see us wearing them.”

Saeoyung placed the snacks onto the table, sitting next to Jaehee as he winked at the group “Let's make this the coolest Halloween we've ever celebrated together!”

Monster Mash

October 27th 2022

“Stop looking as if you’re not enjoying yourself my love.” Lillie said as she straightened Jumin’s ruffled collar. He was dressed as a very sophisticated Victorian vampire. Lillie herself dressed as his female victim. It had been Jumin’s idea, and she loved it. He had pretended to bite her neck before they left the apartment, tickling her and making them almost reconsider joining the party.

“Only because I’m here with you kitten.” He leaned forward and nuzzled her neck.

“Oh hey, none of that, there are children here!” Zen said rolling his eyes. He was resplendent in a werewolf costume. Grey ears, a tale, and a collar around his neck. His makeup was exemplary, blended to look like realistic fur, crimson eyes shining through thick eyeliner expertly applied.

“Zen! You look amazing!” Lillie hugged the tall man.

“I know, and you look like the most stunning vampire victim that ever lived.” He took her hand and kissed it. “If you ever need to escape the monster, you know where to find me.” He eyed Jumin who merely cocked an eyebrow. Lillie giggled like a schoolgirl but took her hand back and grabbed onto her husband.

“I think I’ll stay.” She said, earning a grin from her husband.

“Trying to steal another man’s wife Zen? Should I be worried too?” Saeyoung threw an arm around Zen, a giant grin on his face.

“What exactly are you supposed to be?” the white-haired man asked, genuinely perplexed.

“Really? You can’t guess?” Saeyoung took a step back and spread his arms. He was covered from head to toe with what looked like green cellophane. “I’m the Blob!”

“And I’m the spoon that’s going to eat him up!” MC said, her face poking out of the tines around her head, her body in a silver body suit as if it was the handle.

Lillie laughed and embraced the other woman.

“You two look wonderful! How imaginative!” she said.

“Thank you. It was Saeyoung’s idea of course. This was much better than the bulky astronaut suits he wanted us to wear at first.” MC said.

As they chatted and admired each other’s costumes Saeran and Yoosung walked towards them. Saeran was dressed as a red-furred werewolf, extensions trailing down his neck, red ears perked above his head, fluffy tail in his hand. Yoosung wore a red cape, black corset with flowing white skirt that ended just above his knees. In his hands he carried a basket with a plaid napkin tucked inside. The black boots caressed his calves and the heels clicked on the tile. Saeran put his arm around the man and pulled him close.

“Wow!” Zen’s eyes widened as he gazed at the tantalizing couple.

“Wow indeed.” Saeyoung said, a wide grin on his face.

Yoosung blushed as Saeran gave him a playful bite on the neck.

“You all look so wonderful. I feel like my costume is rather plain in comparison.” Jaehee appeared before them. She wore a tight black dress with a red corset, the flowing hem reached the floor making it seem as if she was floating. On her head were black horns, her brown hair carefully sculpted into tight curls. Leathery wings were attached to her back. They gently swayed as she walked. Black eyeliner circled her eyes, deep plum eyeshadow with silver sparkle adorned her eyelids. A deep crimson lipstick was on her lips.

As far as monsters went, they all agreed Jaehee was the winner.

For the vampire and vampire hunter thing, since it's like forbidden love and star-crossed lovers I have no doubts that at the end Saeyoung gets killed. Like, he does it partly to help MC not be ostracised by other hunters and be seen as the enemy and because well, he knows realistically they couldn't be together and its just sad

Oh anon, perhaps you don't know how mean I can be.

In Lycoris, my assassin!Saeran x reader fic, I had multiple endings, just like the game. The reader's choice in the penultimate chapter determined whether you got the good, normal, or bad ending.

So if he dies... it's the reader's fault. :) Perhaps a better question is... will he die in all endings, even the good? I wonder.
