What's fascinating to watch is the Izzy haters shift from "it's not that deep, izzy is bad and his fans are making stuff up/reading cues that aren't there" to s2 "hes out of character, the writers are putting roles on him that don't make sense, why isn't he 2 dimensionally bad anymore" with zero self awareness at all.

Like, not even in an upset way, just watching the mental gymnastics in bewilderment and awe.

Ive also encountered a weird brand of new Izzy enjoyer who like him now in s2, but still stick to their guns that he was bad and lacked depth s1, and will still argue that s1 izzy enjoyers were delusional. which I get even less than the straight up haters.
