🔎 @224bbaker (18) Oh my god. I listened to this episode while on a train and had to stop myself from not laughing out loud OR shedding a few tears. What absolutely incredible writing in that improv scene and the various VAs absolutely NAILED the delivery. I’m literally obsessed with how this show uses narrative foils and subverts your expectations with them at every step.

Honestly, I already love James Stallion too much, have mercy on me: “Do you know how frustrating it is to love someone who doesn’t love themselves the way you love them? It’s like being told you're an idiot for breathing air. Well, as it turns out, if I stop breathing, I’ll die, and if I stop supporting you, I’ll… “

🧋 @hinaypod (41-48) So much happened in my ear this week on Hi Nay! We burned RH, we met the Benefactor, Mari told the truth about her Nay, THE J + DOOLEY PART 2!!!!!! I tidied my entire house and weeded my friend’s garden with this in my ears and it was such a good time. I’m so excited to be caught up so I can properly appreciate all the vague-posting on social media!!

The thought of the broken grípralviðr makes me so sad and I’m with Dís on the global warming theory - scorching everything is not a solution. I knew the fact that Arna was injured at a climate protest was going to be relevant but it’s so cool for that piece of the puzzle to click together!! I’m SO excited for the next season and honestly don’t want to think too hard about the fact that it’s the last!

Boxes and Storehouses (Danny Phantom x Kagurabachi crossover prompt)

Danny let out a sigh when he felt his breath fog up again. And he was just starting his homework, too! Hopefully this’d be quick.

He let his transformation wash over him and he dropped straight through the floor down to the portal room.

The Box Ghost visibly startled at his appearance.

“AAAA! I mean– BEWARE, PHANTOM! FOR I AM THE BOX GHOST! AND—” his speech broke off. When he spoke again, his voice had lost all of its normal energy. “And I need your help.”

Danny felt himself instantly on edge. The tone felt wrong to hear coming from Boxy of all people.

“What is it?”

The Box Ghost shifted nervously. “I, the Box Ghost, was looking around the Zone for more boxes for my (already unmatched) collection. And I found this huge island covered in loads of them. I thought I’d finally met another ghost who had seen the true greatness of boxes! Then I got closer and…” he turned and stares straight at Danny.

“There were people trapped in some of them. Not ghosts, living ones. And corpses, too. I want to destroy whoever made it for desecrating the glory of boxes like that, but… I’m not strong enough. I need your help to deliver justice to them.”
