When I was picking Masha's tracks, I thought they were super fitting, not just because of the traditional witchyness of Potions and oracle, but the color scheme kinda matches with the nb pride flag a little bit.

So I know there's no point in wishing for them to continue the show, but I've heard of some potential novels being released. And I would love love LOVE for there to be books that's just of the current show. Like each chapter aligns with each episode, and in the season 2 and season 3 books it stretches things out better, adds details that weren't included in the show, and basically shows what the show would look like if it was made like an actual show.

Not as a spite to it being shortened (though I am upset about that), but I want to see things that were missed and left out, and I want to read about how it all fits together. With more scenes with the kids in the human realm, New Hexide gaining a better hierarchy (like a council), the rebuild of the boiling isles, better scenes with characters meeting or reuniting, you get it. Even if it's just a book I would adore each moment.

Also, I love the consideration for Vee’s triggers and traumatic past; How despite the desperation of their mission, Willow still suggests to Vee that she can wait out entering the Historical Society, knowing what Jacob Hopkins did to her and how that must’ve felt. And then later on, when Vee explains that she has too much trauma associated with the Demon Realm to return just yet, if ever...

It’s all so tender to me that the girl has BAD memories of places and she’s allowed to avoid them on that basis, no judgment! Just as Gus lets Hunter approach his Grimwalker reveal at his own pace, it’s all very respectful of what Vee went through and how the Demon Realm isn’t necessarily her home just because she was born there, she’s not pressured to go back on that basis, like kids are with their ‘original’ family. She’s allowed to hold bad feelings against it!!!

But also... WWWWHHHHHYYYYYYYY I WANT MORE VEE, I wanna see her meet everyone else in the Demon Realm and maybe reunite with her fellow Basilisks! I want to see her meet Eda and King! Like, I kinda get it, Vee is a parallel/foil to Luz and her home has always been the human world, it’s soldified in the end credits with her rekindling that friendship (and maybe something more) with Masha, as well as the introduction of two new students who’ve moved in, who are also like-minded to Masha and Luz as morbid weirdoes!

Plus, the writers are already juggling an ENORMOUS cast as-is, and maybe Michaela Dietz is expensive as an All-Star Alum of Steven Universe (she is to me), or another expense at least. But PLEASE!!!

A/n: Author stops writing comfort scenrios challge (Impossible)

Amity: As a person who has been the bully she's honestly more pissed. While she knows people bully others for many different reasons she can't help but project how she was feeling when bullying Willow onto your bullies. And she does not like her past self. She doesn't know quite how to comfort you she just hugs you while rubbing your back. When she confronts them she didn't want to be too mean. But Amity also does not take others hurting the ones she loves lightly.

Luz: Feels horrible that you had to deal with that. She is also pissed at the bullies. But before she can do anything to them she has to make sure you're okay. She tells you how perfect you are and that the bullies were clearly lying. She yells at them like a lot. Depending on how bad the bullying was she either has a sore throat or completely lost her voice.

Willow: She hears that! Which made her fume. Plants slightly crack the floor when you're telling her about it as she's trying to contain her anger. Once you were done she calms herself down and reassured you that you are amazing. She soon leaves to confront them. The next day not only are they not bullying you anymore, but they are also extremely nice to you.

Hunter: The (wo)man was too stunned to speak. In his eyes you're perfect so how anyone can be mean to you is beyond him. Also, the people in the Empores Coven weren't exactly the nicest to him. So if he has even a slight idea of what you're going thru he's super upset. When he talks to the bullies he subconsciously uses some of the fear tactics he learned at the coven. Which works, to say the least.

Vee:  She feels horrible. She's not sure how to help but tells you how much she loves you and spends a bunch of time with you. She is too nervous to go to your bullies. But Masha looks suspiciously like they got into a few fist-fights.

Raine: Imdeate hugs and cuddles <3. They bring you many blankets. They don't want to yell at the bullies right away. So instead they just lecture them. It's surprisingly the second most effective tactic only second to Willow's. While it might seem kinda lame (Because it was.) But imagine getting "I'm not mad I'm just disappointed"-ed by the former head of the bard coven.

Eda: she is not great at comforting you. But she picks you up and finds your bully. She pointed to said bully and asked if it was them. When you told her it was she just straight-up hexed them in front of them. Like didn't even try to hide it. Which is made slightly weirder considering that probably would have left you alone if the Owl Lady threatened them.

Emira: Oh she is mc-fucking pissed. But before that, she gives hugs you and rubs a circle on your back. Also maybe a massage. She decides not to confront them, she uses a bunch of illusions to mess with them. Does it make them think they're going insane? A little. But they also did psychological to you, so an eye for an eye as they say.

Edric: He is very sad. He lets you speak as long as you want. Once you're done he leaves for a second and makes a call to Emira and Amity. He then cuddles and watches tv with you. He also keeps complimenting you. Once Em and Amity come back it's pretty dang obvious they got into a fight. Mainly because despite being roughed up Emira kept laughing.

The Collector: Frist of all if you bully the Collector's friend then you're the biggest idiot in the world. When Terra was even slightly mean to King They turned her into a puppet. But they bring you a bunch of plushies and play with you. Once the Collector goes to the bullies you have to tell them not to hurt the bullies. He pinky swears to let you know he really won't. Well, whatever he did it definitely worked. But just to let you know, if it wasn't for you the Venn diagram of people who are mean to you and people on the missing person list would be a circle.

Lilith: Oh no, oh fuck no. Not happening. She gets Hooty to comfort you while she leaves. Side note Hooty is weirdly good at comforting people. Any back with Lilith she is pissed and yelling at the bullies. She is not above threats. Anyway, they won't be going anywhere near you for a while.

Gus: He was also A victim of Boscha's and Amity's bullying.  Very upset. Y'know what Emira did but? Yeah, he does that but all at once. Like that one scene with Bria's illusions. Listen he is not going to tolerate any more bullying.

oh my god all of the credits images are incredible. The absurd amounts of takeout, Amity’s besotted look while Luz tries to teach her mum glyphs, Willow fuckin’ elbow dropping the boys in the foam pit--

Vee managed to either explain to Masha that she’s the same person she was when she was being ‘Luz’ or has forged a new friendship with them, and I’m so glad! Also it looks like she has boba tea, which is a great joy of the human realm.

The kids vetting the absolute living daylights scared out of ‘em at the theatre, incredible. And Vee in the back with the 3D glasses just living her best life.

I’m never going to stop crying over Flapjack, by the way. Hunter reading about the witch hunters feels likehow he was reading about Grimwalkers when hiding out at Hexside; it’s good that he wants to be on top of the information but it’s also something for him to torment himself with.

And then Belos, and Luz sitting in misery at the front of the house-house. Ow. 

And that last shot... they’re heading into the unknown. They really are.

The Collector-esque borders are pretty unsettling too.

My Toh self-insert lore masterpost

His name is Verano Azul and he's black/white mixed dominican-Not the Demon Realm equivalent like Willow being korean but as in one of his parent's is from Earth and dominican.The parent in question is named Esta and is something of a dark parallel to Luz,a human who ended up on the Boiling Isles and is instead a magic hater who sides with Belos because she grew up catholic with 'fairy tales' about him.His other parent is named Invierno and he has an older brother named Otoño who goes by Oto

Esta and Invierno are abusive to him because of intergenerational trauma from their latino heritage and encourage Oto to bully him and uphold him as 'the sibling they raised right'.Verano had severe self-eestem issues because of this and it was only added on to by being bullied at Hexside for his shyness and obvious hybrid status(having non-pointed ears,which this amazing picrew sadly dosen't provide)

He's the same age as Luz and was a trio with Willow and Gus until she came along and made them a quartet.He met his first ever two friends the same day they met eachother when they saw him getting bullied by Boscha and Gus caused a distraction with his illusions so Willow could sneak him away to a hiding spot and Gus hid too to avoid Boscha's wrath.Once school let out,Verano nervously approached them to thank them and hung out with them the next day which turned into every day after that

He's in the healing track/coven and got shit from his family for it because they wanted him to 'take a more useful one' and his palisman is a pink strawberryonic dragon named Fresa

Los Padres Azules also never truly let him be feminine as a kid and called him an ungrateful brat for asking for things like children's makeup kits and dolls so as part of her redemption arc,Amity teaches him how to be femme and buys him the stuff they refused to and a particularly special item he's always wearing because it was the first one she bought him is his plain pink choker

His fashion sense is pastel and mostly girly but with some masc hints here and there since he's bigender and it makes him happy with himself.He's short and scrawny and has naturally 4b hair he was forced to relax by his racist mom growing up and he dyes a baby pink streak in it in season 3 as a bonding activity with Amity and Willow until the epilogue where we see he's switched to twists and several streaks and gone from regular pastel to pastel punk

He also invented video games in Demon Realm since Luz introduced him to them and he learned how to make them as he loved them enough for it to become a special interest.He started with an unused pink Tamagotchi gift from Luz and worked his way up to a whole technological revolution he used purely for good(I.e entertainment,education,comfort and so forth games only)

Has a genderfluid pride pin on his dress in Thanks To Them and in the time he spent on earth is when he discovered punk culture and got radicalized and learned he was actually a social butterfly who just hadn't found the right people-The 'right people' being the rest of the Hexside Squad,Vee and Masha.Him and Masha are pastel/goth besties and they get in on the Residencia Noceda secret thanks to it because in this verse we got the full season we deserved and Veesha gets to unfold onscreen like Lumity did and there's also extra Grimwalker lore bits and backstory on Luz's earth life and Camila is a major mc

Eda becomes a mother figure to him throught his frequent visits to The Owl House to see Luz and adopts him mid-season 1 after finding out he's being abused thanks to him accidentally revealing it during one of their conversation's.She went to the Azul residence and tricked his parents into giving her custody via adoption papers and easily beat them when they tried to fight her.Oto wasn't around to witness it but is still scared shitless of her and avoids Verano from then on(He does apologize in For The Future and Verano says he accepts but dosen't wanna be around him anymore and he respects that).Raine is also his parent due to their's and Eda's marriage and there's not a day without both chaos and wholesomeness with them

Considers Camila his official parent too(and she sees him as her son and daughter)and is eternally grateful to her for teaching him about blackness unlike Invierno.Perry,who was never told about Verano's abuse until after Eda came along,did teach him a few things but sadly couldn't get many because of him still living with his racist parents

And his final parent is Darius.This one has funny reasons because the context is that the two of them got so close thanks to Verano being best friends with Hunter that Darius kept dropping hints to Eda he wanted shared custody and she teased him into admitting outright and laughed at his embarrased anger before agreeing to it.Verano was overjoyed when they told him and told them into a group hug after them each a platonic cheek kiss,squealing about how much he loves them and what they were going to do as a family.He also ends up being All Tracks due to his mixed home life making him learn so many magic types

His Bad Girls coven shirt is all shades of pink and he adores King and Darius' abominations so much and technically lives with both Raeda and him due to how often he stays over at his.Verano got a taste of the fine life starting in 'Abnomination and Son and Daughter' when it started and he learned to employ a couple of his daily routines and mannerisms into his own.He calls Darius 'Daddy' instead of Dad and the man started sobbing on the spot the first it happened

His full name is technically Verano Azul Clawthorne Noceda Whispers Deamonne but for the sake of shortness he just uses his first name when introducing himself

When he started unmasking,he turned into a very bubbly and optimistic weirdgirl who slowly became a Team Mom as his friend circle grew.His favorite stims are chewy necklaces,flappy hands,running around and echolalia,he's good ar handling meltdowns,his special interests are dragons,cats,ghosts,video games,pink and anarchy/chaos,his safe foods are booding and Dairy Queen(post/during season 3)and he has a whole diy'd backpack of safe items he carries around

Like the rest of the Hexside Squad,he had an episode dedicated to his first meeting with Hunter and their's was called 'Little Pink Flying Hood and The Hunter'.It took place post Eclipse Lake but pre Hollow Mind and had them bumping forehead first into eachother due to his broom going out of control and getting lost in woods and trying to find their way back home.They became friends at the end as they bonded deeply,including Verano telling him he dosen't have to be perfect and Hunter responding that they don't need to feel like a freak either.They don't reveal his secret identity in ASIAS but there's a running gag that he thinks they will and at one point they snark that if he keeps at it they'll spill the beans

Verano,Willow,Gus and Hunter are called 'The Four Emeralds' and their group chat they created after Darius gave Hunter his phone is titled that and it's extremely chaotic but sweet

His Flapjack tatto is on his right palm

He's Gus and Mat's wingmanwoman and finds Mat's cringe to be super cool.They're something of a subtrio as they get their own episode with Steve too that's about brotherhood shenanigans(The Tholomule bros with Verano + Verano and Gus),gay anticts(Gustholomule)and trans femme swag(Verano)and it's called 'Oh brother,where art tholomule?'.This trinity's name is 'The Creation Counts'(yeah,like the vampire joke.They are dorks SUPREME)

His halloween costume was a pink and white dragoncat onesie with blue catdragon face paint and strawberry scented paws

He's a Penstagram influencer technically but the influence is just him being witch Megan Thee Stallion where he just posts positivity,humor,him having fun and activism related things.Also as an adult he posts 'thirst traps' that're just him having that drip but the Healer Girl Summer Nation go wild

He also appears in Chibi Tales and was redrawn as Tiana in her blue dress fit for Black History Month by an artist on the crew.His character is meant to be representation for black femmes like how Luz is for black baby butches

The second design is from a swap au created by @theautisticcentre where he's the grimwalker instead of Hunter so rather than Philip,Belos had a sickening obsession with a mulatta from his time period and Verano's name is instead 'Victoria Wittebane' as a result.Belos holds no attraction to 'her',an egg he forces not to crack out of being a puritan,but he's a very awful 'father' to Victoria and she's known as 'The Golden Maiden'.If you want more lore,go ahead and ask Mathew about,he is a fantastic content creator and takes requests for headcanons and fics as well♡

And the 3rd design is canon complaint,as Belos gets his hands on Verano to torment Hunter and Luz in Watching and Dreaming by 'dehumanizing' him to show Verano's 'true self' by making him half Dragon,dragons being on par with Titans in godhood status but considered lesser than them and having been at war as a result like they were with Collectors,but this backfired on him because Verano is dragonkin/a dragon therian and Titan Luz and 'Dragono' defeated him at last together in a show of sisterhood,holding hands when they finished and going back to their loved ones while leaning on eachother for support.Like i headcanon Titan!Luz,Dragono still lingers in Verano

And also like his hermana,he regularly travels between worlds and it turns out there's a place called Dragonland that's kept secret to avoid new conflict and he becomes an ambassador for them!!!

Owl House headcanons, timeskip edition:

Lilith basically adopted Amity. They go on adventures together, mapping the Isles and documenting any and all changes that occurred when the Left Arm became the highest spot. Lilith is basically Amity’s mom now and they continued to heal their trauma from the Emperor’s Coven together.

The Emerald Entrails still play together often, now as a professional team. It’s still more of a hobby than a job, but they remained close.

Willow coaches flier derby to students at Hexside with the help of Skara, who works as a teaching assistant.

Hunter was officially adopted by Darius and Camila (separately) almost immediately after Watching and Dreaming and spent alternating weeks in the Human and Demon realm until he took up the job of palisman carver.

Gus and Vee, despite neither of them attending college, teach in the Human Realm course at Eda’s university. In between King’s Tide and Thanks To Them, Vee gave Gus detailed lessons to correct his misconceptions and they mainly teach the truth. Gus refuses to admit that the ocean doesn’t sound like a paperclip.

Luz and Lilith constructed the entire Glyph course on their own. Eda helped, obviously, but she was busy overseeing the entire building of the university. Luz is mainly taking that course for nostalgia.

Hunter tries to keep himself to himself and most people don’t even know he’s the Golden Guard. 

When Darius and Alador began to become friends again, Hunter hung out a lot with Edric and Emira while Amity was off with Lilith, so they’re close friends now. Hunter taught Edric about wolves and Emira about their healing processes in the Emperor’s Coven. They, in turn, taught him to be a teenager, because while the Hexsquad are great, they’re...not too knowledgeable in that category.

Amity is the strong tall girlfriend from her adventures with Lilith. This is actually semi-canon in that Ams is canonically taller than Luz now, but I just wanted to include it.

Hunter and Willow eventually got together nearly a year after Watching And Dreaming. They were even more drawn-out than Lumity. Amity was yelling at Willow to make a move, Gus was yelling at Hunter, Luz was yelling at both of them but it was eventually Waffles and Clover than got them to get their shit together.

Hunter, with Darius and Dell’s help, eventually carved an egg (like Luz’s) a few months after Watching And Dreaming, which hatched into Waffles. This was when the Hexsquad promised to get matching tattoos the second they were able to (Eda offered to do it then and there but they politely declined).

As I mentioned in pretty much every headcanon list I’ve ever made, Marcy went to Luz’s school once she moved. Marcy would not shut up about how amazing Anne and Sasha were, and Luz would not shut up about how amazing Amity was, but Marcy also spoke a lot about Luz to Anne and Sasha and so they got jealous.

Luz dyed Hunter’s hair red when she was sixteen and he was eighteen, but it went terribly and ended up light pink. He still kept it until it faded out.

Darius nearly fainted when he saw it.

Vee showed Masha the Demon Realm and they absolutely love it. Sometimes they’ll be a guest in the Human Realm course at the university and they go on dates to the Knee and Skull and cool BI places. 

Waffles bites Hunter. A lot. She’s a biter.

My opinion on popular TOH ships! (No hate to anyone, these just my opinions ^^)

Amity x Luz: Perfect. Perfect in every way. Just two happy little love doves who would part the sea for each other. And it's Canon! 10/10

Hunter x Willow: I LOVE this ship. Hunter and Willow were practically made for each other, my two blorbos ahhhh I can't it's too cuteee plus its kinda implied in the show <3 11/10

Raine x Eda: These two old scraggly witches, can't get enough of them. I love their dynamic and they are so loving to each other! 9/10

Vee x Masha: Vee DESERVES a beautiful enby partner, like, come on people. They would be soooo cute together ahhh 10/10

Gus x Mattholomule: I personally enjoy this one! I think it would be a slow burner but in the end just an adorable well rounded gay couple. 8/10

Luz x really anyone but Amity: I'm not really a fan of Luz x anyone else since 1: that means Luz and Amity would've broken up in most cases and that makes me sad :< and 2: Amity and Luz's dynamic is so perfect it can't be beat. Though it could be worse. 3/10

Hunter x Edric/Emira: I honestly have no idea where this one came from but I really don't like it. It's a bit to random for me, and I don't know enough about the twins to know if they would be good for my blorbo child. 2/10

Lilith x anyone: One sentence. Lilith is canon aro/ace. 0/10

Belos x anyone: Unless it's an au I don't like it. Belos don't deserve love. Blegh. 1/10

Boscha x Willow: Uhmmmm I'm not really a fan of bullies to lovers (Lumity DOESNT count T-T) and Boscha is really clingy, a bit too much for me to think this would work out. 2/10

Darius x Alador: Y e s . Alador deserves a happy relationship after the Odalia incident. 8/10

Eda x Camilla: This doesn't really sit right with me but girlboss I guess. 5/10

What’s everyone’s favorite singalong song?

Oooo, good question... Luz: See, the thing is, as you'd probably expect, I think Luz likes a little bit of everything, so it would depend on her mood. That said, I think they sing Somewhere I Belong by Linkin Park or Rebel Rebel by David Bowie regularly. That, and she's totally doing that duet of Moving Right Along with Hunter. Amity: Easily Someone's Someone by k-pop group Monsta X. It reminds her too much of Luz. She occasionally belts out Numb by Linkin Park and Pretend We're Dead by L7. Naturally, Luz becomes her backup vocals and they sing to each other all the time, much to the annoyance of everyone. Willow: Girl has Tenacious D on lock (especially Master Exploder, and yes she does understand the lyrics.) But more than that, if Hunter's upset, she's singing a romantic song to him like Swing Life Away by Rise Against to help him feel better. And she will sing Bury the Light when she's playing video games. Hunter: This boy lives and breathes musicals, emo music, and Weird Al. I'd think that, if they're all parked for the night, he might also dance while singing, so expect him to sing 500 Miles or any Michael Jackson song. Gus: Like Hunter, total Weird Al fanboy. Also deep into singing Voltaire, but if they're parked, he's using illusion magic to amplify the song through visuals. You should see his version of the Beast of Pirate Bay. Matt: Matt doesn't really sing all that much... Except for one song, and that's Hardware Store by Weird Al, and he scares everyone by doing a perfect version of the breakdown of that song. Vee: Given how silly she can be, Bad Reputation by Joan Jett and Girls Just Wanna Have Fun by Cindi Lauper are in her wheelhouse. She also doesn't mind going goth/punk with her Mashy. Human realm headcanons that have been rotating in my brain since Thanks to Them

As soon as she could get her hands on workout clothes and something to cover her ears, Willow started going on runs every morning. Hunter was always awake at the ungodly hour she went out in and eventually started coming with her. This led to several bonding experiences, most notably the first time they saw a raccoon and Hunter thought it was a demon that followed them through the portal (“Hunter I think that might just be an animal” “it opened that container with its hands that is not animal behavior”)

After Luz came out to Camila, Hunter sewed her a giant bi pride flag that she started using as a blanket. Amity pestered him for a lesbian one and he just ended up making ones for all the kids
