4: Sitting in the Gym Parking Lot: A Gentle Step Toward Physical Movement
For many people living with Post-Viral ME/CFS, even the thought of physical exercise can feel overwhelming. The body is a delicate balance, and pushing it beyond its limits can trigger post-exertional malaise (PEM)—that all-too-familiar crash after exertion that leaves you feeling more fatigued and symptomatic than before. Yet, there may still be a desire, a pull to move your body, to regain some…

WHY THE FUCK THIS HAS TO HAPPEN TO ME RIGHT NOW?- but they say when you change your perspective that when the miracles happen
HOW TO TURN YOUR DISADVANTAGES INTO ADVANTAGES
Tumblr media
Instead of trying to reprogram your mind to get rid of your disadvantages why not just turn them into a advantages. I truly don't think anything is a problem when it comes to shifting if you just shift your perspective.
1. ╰┈➤“I’m overthinking everything right now.”
Use it as a DR spiral.
Instead of shutting it down, channel it. Start overthinking your DR. Spiral into the details.
“What’s the smell of my DR room? How does my s/o handwriting look like? What the last thing I seen before I went to bed last night in my DR?
Let your overthinking become a insight of your Dr in small details. Small details = deep connection.
2╰┈➤“My brain won’t shut up / I keep getting random thoughts.”
Let them.
Even if those thoughts have nothing to do with your DR, let them pass without resistance.
When you stop fighting your mind, it relaxes. And once you’re relaxed, your method flows more easily. Your thoughts don’t block the shift—they soften the space around it.
(I'm also a firm believer you can get into a void state by just yapping your brain away)
3╰┈➤“I feel bored / I want to stop / This is taking too long.”
→ Reframe it as a sign of closeness.
Affirm in your mind:
“I’m bored because I’m already there. My reality just hasn’t caught up yet.”
Because remember our senses are last thing that shifts. Boredom means you’re there— your awareness is already there.
Boredom isn’t a block—It’s neutrality, It’s how your DR self feels—calm, natural, already there.
4╰┈➤ “I got distracted / I forgot I was even doing the method.”
→ Celebrate it.
That’s literally ideal. A lot of accidently shifts happen when you stop obsessing and let your subconscious take the wheel. It not you who shifts you but your subconscious. And if you can, use it because distractions can bring you to detachment and help you shift.
5╰┈➤ “I fell asleep mid-method!”
→ That was the method.
You didn’t fail—you succeeded. Not only you can turn this into a "method" now by just shifting while you sleep with no effort, but let me tell you something everytime you think of being in your Dr before sleep or you wake it extra confused or maybe you got a dream of your Dr? It because you were there while your drself was asleep so you just woke up here but you actually were in your Dr the whole night.
6╰┈➤“My affirmations feel fake / repetitive / I can’t do them for long.”
That’s because they’re already true. Your brain is just bored of repeating what it already knows as true. It’s not resistance—it’s recognition. You’re not convincing your mind of anything, you’re remembering what’s already real.
You already are the version of you that has it all.
7╰┈➤“My DR feels too good to be true.”
→ That’s your CR conditioning talking
It’s not too good to be true. It’s too good to be false. Your DR feels like a fantasy only because CR trained you to accept less. Flip the script: your DR is suited specific for you.
8╰┈➤ "I'm putting my Dr on a pedestal"
okay and so what? People put good stuff in their life on pedestal all the time? That doesn't make it unreachable or unreasonable because they already have it. Just the same way you are already in your Dr. Reminder yourself that it okay to romanticise your Dr life because it still your life.

30 Days Shifting Challenge
30 days may seem like a really long time, but I had results on day 2 and most of people shifts on the first week. I'm gonna tell you my experience.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Credits to this guy on patreon. --Go follow him if you're interested in doing the challenge. He's really good--.
──⃝─⃝⃝⃝⃝──
I've seen this guy on TikTok a lot, and the other day I found his Patreon, which is free. He talks about lucid dreams, astral projection, and shifting. This challenge, although it says it's for the astral one, most people are using it for shifting and lucid dreams.
In my case, I didn't do day one because I accidentally did it without knowing it the day before, so I just started in day 2 last night.
In case anyone hasn't seen their patreon yet, day two is pretty simple and it's fully based in your intention:
You go to sleep with the intention that you're going to wake up 5 hours after you fall asleep. You can also set a alarm, but I recommend you to trust yourself.
When you wake up, stay awake for 5 minutes and go back to bed.
Set the intention to wake up naturally several times.
When you wake up naturally, do one lf this options.
Tumblr media
Okay. Now that you know how the method is done, I'm going to tell you about my experience:
At 12am I made it clear that something was going to happen that night, that I was going to wake up 5 minutes before the alarm I set. "How?" I just did it. I was SO excited to have discovered a challenge after a week of being unmotivated and busy in this reality.
I started imagining my other reality... what it will be like to arrive, how I will spend my time, what I will do... and, in some way, it was quite easy -- don't know if this helped, but I was feeling pretty tired--.
At some point, I started dreaming. I dreamed of people of this reality and stuff and, in one moment, I wanted to go through a wall, only because I wanted to walk down a long hallway and there wasn't one. And that's when I became lucid. I felt my 'body' (?) pass through the ground --like when you pass through blocks in Minecraft in spectator mode. Exactly like that--. I began to hear the dream VERY clearly, as if I were there. I noticed an extremely loud beeping sound that accelerated until it sounded like it was going to explode, which always happens to me when I have shifting experiences --I notice it's getting faster and faster. I think that when it becomes impossible to accelerate further, that's when I'll wake up in my intentional reality--. I wanted to focus on my intention reality but, in the dream, they were screams, like a discussion. They were my CR friends, in a difficult situation, I think. And somehow, I know what they were dressed like just from hearing their voices. I began to feel myself spinning nonstop, very fast, which is very common for me. I couldn't stop focusing on the dream, because my hearing had shifted there, along with part of my vision and memories. I didn't want to go there, I didn't want to be in that situation, so I ended up returning to this reality.
I noticed that everything stopped and I was at peace. I've gotten used to the change, because it's just normal to experience it. I looked at my phone and it was 12:46. It didn't even passed an hour. I love the peace and tranquility I feel after having an shifting experience.
──⃝─⃝⃝⃝⃝──
I've only completed ONE DAY of the 30, and I've made progress. I recommend everyone join me for this 30-day challenge. It doesn't matter if you started late; it's never too late to start.

the mental gymnastics in some of your posts, oh dear
Don't be hard on yourself anon, not everyone is built for gymnastics!
Yeah i know that's not what you meant 😉
The analysis i do doesn't really require a lot of effort for me, but i guess i am practised at critiquing visual arts. Having an academic art criticism and fine arts background has been very useful in that regard. And being a librarian I'm experienced in analysing text and looking for answers amongst a myriad of questions. The combination of those skills means I am pretty good at a picking up symbolism and reading the subtext in media.
But I get that many people don't do that. They don't automatically think about theme, concept, and narrative design when they come across a MV or a song or portrait. They just think it's nice or it's pretty - or it isn't. That's fine too. Everyone is free to engage with the world around them to whatever extent meets their need.
I need to understand, and that's what drives my passion for analysis. That's why I spend my weekends reading about language analysis, literary theory, aesthetic conventions, semiotics, reception theory (you'd love that one), post- colonial critical theory etc. etc.
If you don't need to understand, kudos to you. Embrace your own experience and be happy, but please don't fool yourself. Meaning does exist whether you search for it or not.
Any language can be understood if you choose to learn it.
💜

If you have an opposing view to mine, feel free to present it. I'll happily engage, but do your research and bring your A game because I won't go easy on you. And for the love of jikook, use punctuation.

I hope this hurts.
You should play Mouthwashing. Like right now. It was very good.
Could not put it down. I was not ready for just how hard the narrative was going to gut punch me. I've had a tough year, and I felt like this game was directly addressing my psyche at times - you work a shit job for what. No more than two slices of cake.
Chilling, horrifying, exhilarating, vindicating. An absolute ride from beginning till end and you won't know what's coming and that's the best part. Short, and organically sweet (no nutrition pouch sweetener added)
Take responsibility. You can fix this. You can fix all of this.

Are any if the boys wanting to be parents? Like it's a part of their life goals, be it biological or adoption they just want kids? Jules, maybe? Thank You💗
Markus doesn’t really know what he wants. Sometimes kids sound like they’d be fun, sometimes he feels like he’d screw them up irreparably and is too scared to try. Sometimes all he wants is to live a life with you and only you, going on adventures and being footloose and fancy free, and sometimes he wants a big family to come home to because maybe that would fill the hole that’s inside him. He’s a wild card!
Niko wants to experience all that life has to offer with you. Niko would love to be a parent and to have a child with you — as long as that is also what you would want. If you don’t, then he would love to simply deepen your relationship as you live your lives together.
Jules? Sorry, but if Jules stayed with you, he would be against children. Outside of his relationship with you, he would be expected to have a family and would more than likely have a child or two. But this is not his preference.
