The Kaz + Helnik dynamic is really funny. Whether it's with both of them together or individually, they both have wanted to kill/strangle him at some point, but soon begin to really care about him and learn to tolerate him while still wholeheartedly believing that he's a little shit. And Kaz in turn loves them too, but would die than admit it, so he shamelessly, spitefully and relentlessly annoys them. He pisses Nina off and roasts the living hell out of Matthias. The dynamic is always HILARIOUS AS FUCK!!!! Why do you think I love last few Ice Court scenes so much?

And I will forever cry about not being able to see it on screen.

wylan is the definition of the duality of man. he is adorable and cute and seemingly so innocent with his curls and his big eyes and his flute and everything, but he’s actually this badass motherfucker who makes bombs and threatens to push people in canals and im not surprised jesper is head over heels for him bc i would be too.

Am I the only one who doesn’t want another SoC book? Not that it wouldn’t be welcomed but I feel like the duology was done perfectly. It’s a beautifully written complete story.

I just don’t think fanservice is a good enough reason to write a book.

In RoW we saw how the characters are:

Inej in the sea being a slaver hunting legend (as she should queen), Kaz being the barrel boss after getting his revenge, wylan and Jesper living peacefully, Nina being a fejrdan queen under false identity (i have… ambivalent feelings towards this storyline) and Matthias… 6 ft under…

I just don’t see how it’ll work

(Also the possibility of another one of them dying is just not it okay I’ve suffered enough)
