hello I will try to be brief,my sister is disabled and recently she got horrible news from her doctor that her reflexes have gotten worse,which means she will one day probably become paralyzed unless something is done(also her chronic pain is pretty severe rn which is another bad sign).now they want her to do a bunch of exams + physical therapy+ maybe new medication??we are looking at a bill close to 800€ tho honestly I dont know what's going to happen.the first paragraph you see is nothing but blood work and allegedly we will be able to get those for free so that's a relief.But I'm convinced thats not going to be all I'm scared for what's going to happen to her,I'm scared she will need to have surgery.also long covid is still fucking with me so yeah I'm don't think I will ever find work at this point🫠but who knows maybe I will be fine one day.I'm going to ask for 1200€ just to be safe tho dont be surprised if the amount rises or drops because I again I don't know what to expect with this,the extra money is in case we do need to pay for extra exams,blood work or bills etc

I thought I’d post an older piece. I started designing this OC Annie Arbour 2 years ago and never got around to posting her so here she is! I had this whole idea that she is Grace Augustine’s niece who comes to Pandora in the wave of human colonists during the second movie. Of coarse the ‘narrative’ on earth is that savage Pandorian indigenous killed all the scientists including her Aunt, so she at first is team RDA.

I’ve seen your birg art a lot and I love it so much! You even inspired me to start my own alien worldbuilding project. But even after seeing your many birg drawings, I still can’t get a handle on their anatomy… do you have any posts that break down what their bodies look like/how they function?

I am assuming you mean external anatomy, correct me if I’m wrong and I may consider a more comprehensive anatomy post in the future. In the meantime, here are some posts that you may find useful.

It's mostly horror stories which are the ones who actually get Told so I'm definitely confirmation biased, but just like ... Minors sneaking into the Adult channel. Adults being inappropriate in not-adult channels. Some Big Drama going down while you're asleep and everyone blames you because it's YOUR server and you weren't around to stop it. General drama at all in what's supposed to be a fun space but also you can't really say "good vibes only" when it's something Serious. Being responsible for minors in general. Just thinking about it is making me not wanna share anything ever lmao

The 'just move to a different website' crowd really is annoying the shit outta me. Imagine a website as a public park: The park is made, the park attracts people, people start using the public park. So many people start using the public park some people decide to set up shops around the public park. Little donut stands or an art stall or a clothing shop. Things work well around the public park, people from the park stay there and walk around and see new shops and businesses they haven't seen in any other public park. The park and the 'town' around it is now fairly popular. Now the new shitlord moves into the public park and owns it and starts banning people and asking entree fees and doing all sorts of dumb shit. Literally everyone in the park hates the choices he's making. Telling people to just 'move their business' is fucking difficult. People are used to going to the park, everyone who leaves moves do 7 different towns, starting shops in all 7 new towns costs an amount of energy which is exhausting to keep up with. All other parks are run by similar soulless shitlords who can also on a dime decide to start doing the same dumb inspired shit the shitlord from park number one is doing. Some people move from the park and don't decide to follow the businesses they like again. It's exhausting and frustrating and telling people to 'just move' is unproductive. And yes I am aware you shouldn't put 'all your eggs' in one basket but every basket that's 'good' will rot the second a platform gets successful enough to attract a new shitlord. And to attract an audience making your own website is even fucking harder. What we need is to acknowledge the internet and social media isn't just entertainment for many people it's their sole source of income and just 'moving' when your entire customer base scatters to 7 different platforms is really difficult.
