more farm sim twst au doodles ft a hasty consideration of where the teachers might go for  stardew leaning aus bc i forgot the idea i had about mayor crowley being just as Unhelpful as Lewis fkjdsjf, and then i just felt the need to place the rest of em somewhere.

then some doodles i found from back in july, cater discovers The Fish jdslfjd i dont remember if this context they were also still joja boys in their spare time or if they were simply Creatures

and THEN before that there was just a day i was Thinking About Harvest Moon and Also Jamiazu , and it’s EMBARRASSING and SAPPY lol but that whole set was like, how in most farming sims ur a semi silent protagonist just running around like 😐 while the npcs do all the talking and slowly fall in love with u anyway. i was particularly reminiscing on certain love interests from HM games that are like, rooted to one spot where u gotta go out of ur way to visit them (leia, kappa, harvest goddess, harvest king, keira, etc etc etc) and also how in these games characters start to get all wistful as they fall for the protag lol. like “wow my day is brightened when u come see me, im so lonely here lol if only i could live on a farm like u 🧡🧡🧡” and ur character is like  😐🥚 LOL. azul dreams of legs to follow his human buddy around but also bc he wants to pursue capitalist dreams ✨

Little venting moment!! Just thinking about how, as a whole, a lot of simblr drama could be avoided by people just generally being nicer/communicating their concerns directly.

Someone is tagging something wrong? Message them (nicely) to let them know and give them pointers/guidance instead of vague posts

You don't like a certain kind of sim style or gameplay? Don't follow that blog (as opposed to mocking that sim-style or vague posting about how ugly *some* peoples sims are who do _______ thing you don't personally like)

Someone asked WCIF and you're not WCIF friendly? Ignore or *if* you choose to respond, just copy and paste a simple "Sorry, currently not answering WCIFS. Thanks!" No need to fuss or get pissed or call anyone stupid/question their intelligence

Like guys I could go on all day but really the TLDR could be that 90% of drama in the simblr community could be fixed by just being kinder to one another. No joke. Not trying to sound cliche or like the kindergarten teacher in the room, but it is miraculous how many issues could have been avoided with a simple "I didn't know that, thanks" or a simple "sorry, I'm not wcif friendly" or "Hey, you're putting this in the wrong tags - let me help you!" Like being kind actually does go a long way you know?

It's about... *checks calendar* 3 days late for April Fool's, but it's okay. I'm not trying to prank anyone.

Last month I made this LOL dating sim screen edit because for the bros' birthday I drew them in super fancy prince outfits and it looks like some romance game art??

The logo in the previous edit was kind of just edited out of an existing game logo, and that just made me feel very dissatisfied inside, so I made my own custom logo design (and then went overboard and also made the dialogue screens and the home screen).

A lot of interface elements like the buttons and text boxes are free assets from Pixiv or other websites, but I did still have to edit them and add extra effects/texture to make the layout. The logo is fully custom made by me, though. I just used some basic fonts as the base, and made all the decor myself with Photoshop. (edit: I meant the moon decor for the logo!!! The flowers and stuff in the cover image are free assets too)

Aside from Sanji, the other guys are just old drawing/sketches that I have lying around that I coloured/touched up.

Also, I'm being rebellious again. In this setting the boys' eye colours match their hair colour, so Sanji has gold eyes and not blue. You can also kind of see that Yonji has green eyes (if it's not too small).

I honestly have no idea what's happening in the "plot" here. It's just vaguely meant to be a mystery + somewhat supernatural theme in an AU setting. The player is some sort of detective/journalist investigating Germa because there's weird stuff happening or something, I don't know.

Weird stuff involving that "ghost Judge(???)" I guess??? Like if he's actually dead, then who's that guy calling himself the king?

Bonus:

Worked too hard on this little banner, only for it to be too small and barely visible. I could've just used some regular font and called it a day and not bother trying to put complicated effects on it.

Have you heard about "Kawacy"? He's a popular Japanese artist who got into controversy few years ago because he published a Deviantart webcomic series about a vampire who raised a girl since she was 6 and they ended up as couple, what making it worse is that he tried to defend his webcomic by saying that the vampire does not fall in love with her until she's a grown woman (which making it even worse). He's still active in art spaces and his gross webcomic haven't deleted from his profile iirc

It's a shame too because I love their art but I couldn't get past the justifications used to ship him with the girl he had raised since childhood, especially when the original characters came from the fucking Sims. Like, all those gymnastics to justify shipping a young girl with a vampire from a life sim game that arguably hasn't been good since 2009-2011.

It's just ironic and frankly hypocritical that people cry over Twilight being pedo grooming shit between Jacob and Renesmee and yet look the other way with stuff like Kawacy, that's what really bugs me about the whole thing lmao "well you're a WESTERNER so you just don't GET it" please just stfu, that's like the people who justify the "fighting racism with racism" bit in Get Schooled because "you're not Korean so you don't understand", it's RACISM, it's not that fucking complicated and "cultural differences" is reasoning that can only go so far before you just wind up defending actual hate crimes.

But I just choose not to engage with it. Kawacy's set in his opinion that what he's doing is okay and if I "don't get it", then frankly I'm fine with being the odd and stupid one out here lmao But it's definitely frustrating and concerning to see the amount of people who defend this kind of thing, and it's so common in webcomics and OC creation as a whole, it really gives me the creeps.

Do you hear me SCREAM of joy? Well I am. Once again, Blender saves the day! I managed to go over Milkshape's limit and add a bunch of face morphs to the mesh! HUGE progress! 🎉

I know it looks quite weird right now, especially with the human body lol. I decided to separate the head from the body and make it a hair mesh, since clothing outfits don't show up when you use the pie menu, I figured it'd be more convenient to have this separated and see the yeti head instead of whatever the Sim's face behind is (kinda like the uni cow mascots). And yeah that eyebrows situation... wow. I will tone it down a bit because right now they're flying so high with the Sim's expressions, it's wild.

You have no idea how happy I am right now. Learning more stuff and slowly but surely getting more and more away from Milkshape's evil hands.

The beginning of Dr. O’Hara’s Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day.

Felt like intentionally over-working a b&w sketch featuring the most minor and forgotten of characters. Also weird perspective choices lol.

I was ruminating on how the inciting incident for Spider-man 2099 (1992) was this bit where Miguel puts himself in a position of authority to try to mitigate harm and ends up killing someone (with the machine that later gives him his powers). There’s almost a pattern here. Brundlefly-ified Mr. Sims' mouth isn't actually visible in the comic panels he shows up in, so I took some artistic liberties and gave him the fangs. He already has the red eyes, so why not?

I like when Spider-man stuff leans into the mad science body horror. It's like the little flavor packet in the ramen.

so in the last week or so i've started getting these very random, very oddly-timed, and somewhat disturbing anon messages over on my main and @nonsensical-pixels-finds.

as anyone who's been following my blog will know, i most certainly haven't been in any beef recently, i've not received any 'hateful messages' before that first message; literally all i've done is post cc on the weekends and the occasional sims ramble lol. 'downplaying someone's mental disorder' what? i've most definitely not done anything other than reblog cc on my finds blog lmao.

the fact that the second message mentions ableism though, reminds me of @sammysundog's stalker situation. that's the only time that mental health has ever been 'discussed' on this blog to my recollection, and that was weeks ago. really not sure why i'm being targeted given that i've literally only reblogged that post but... 🤷‍♀️

tl;dr i'm turning off anon messages for this blog, and all others. sorry guys, if you've got the courage to ask me to do something for you, like a request, then you've got to have the courage to let me know who you are. and i'm sick of weird anons messaging me for completely off-topic stuff.

CRCB Barracks: The Main Areas

Okay, here is part 2 of the CRCB Barracks in the Sims 4. Here are the main areas like the rec room, the bathrooms, the meeting room, the storage and utility closest, as well as sort of POV shots of the hallways.

First we have the most important room, the rec room. It's purposefully dark and plain (and ignore the frosted windows it was winter 😭) Also ignore the weird angle, I couldn't get good POV shots inside either. I used one of the actual game tables if you'd like to utilize it. In the fic, that table gets stored away and the chairs to it are folding chairs (folding chairs in the Sims are included in a pack). It's all Base Game so you won't lose any of it if you don't have any packs.

Next are the communal bathrooms that Gaz and Soap primarily use. (Also at a weird angle sorry) The stalls and showers are from Discover University.

On the topic of bathrooms, here's what the private bathrooms in the rooms look like. All three look like this, they're pretty basic. All base game stuff too.

Here is the meeting room where the scenting happened and also where the boys have their debriefs. (It's again at a weird angle cause I wasn't happy with the POV shots 😭) The two monitors on the one wall are from Strangerville, otherwise it's all base game.

Next is the laundry room. Of course, it's all from the laundry pack. Washing machines are in the first shot, dryers in the second.

And now some POV shots of the hallways. First is walking in from the main entrance.

Next is looking down the hallway where the rec room/communal bathrooms and secondary entrance are.

Next is looking down the hallway where the offices are. Price's office is the last door on the right.

And finally, the hallway where the laundry room door and emergency exit are. (That dark section at the very back of the first photo)

And lastly, the two least important rooms, the storage room and the utility closet. Both use items from various packs, but they're not really that important lol. Mostly just included for detail. Also again, awkward shots because I'm incompetent and screenshots are hard.
