Omega!141 who you know can very easily stick up for themselves but it doesn’t stop anger flaring in your chest when you end up having to rest at another base and you hear the hushed comments being muttered around base about an omega task force.

The straw that breaks the camel's back is when you all sit in the cafeteria to eat and a soldier loudly on purpose jokes about the 141 being “a waste of good omegas.” 

The room falls silent when your chair screeches as you charge the soldier and fist his shirt in your hand, pulling him close to snarl in his face, “They’re still your superior officers and I expect you to remember that, soldier.” The smell of angry alpha filters into the air and the soldier’s eyes go wide, attempting to pull back and shrink into himself.

“Y-yes sir,” he stutters, falling back onto his arse when you suddenly release him. You leave him on the floor as you walk back to your table, ignoring the shocked looks on everyone’s faces and the hidden grins of the 141 as you continue eating as if nothing had happened. Gradually the atmosphere begins to pick back up, and the 141 don’t hear another comment during their time on base.

The other soldiers don’t need to know that as soon as you're back on home base and all your gear is packed away the 141 are gathered in your room taking turns riding you, rewarding you for being their loyal alpha.

Halloween prompts year 2 day 10

Danny groaned, blearily raising his head from the nest of blankets and pillows he had made in his apartment. He had smelled something strange.

Something strong enough to wake him from his sleep. Danny got up and stumbled to the front door, cursing his luck for getting a fever so soon into his interdimentional road trip.

Peering out of his open doorway he saw a little kid shivering in the cold, badly hidden behind two trash cans in the mouth of an alley. Danny didn't think twice. In fact he didn't think at all. It wasn't uncommon for an Omega to smell a child who didn't have the scent of another Omega on them and immediately claim that child as thier own, and seeing as his home dimension had exclusively Omegas...let's just say there's a lot of drama in family court and a lot of laws pertaining to this.

So of course the next thing Danny knows is that the kid was bundled up inside his very soft and comfy makeshift nest before Danny passed out.

For the next week Danny had this mysterious fever and he acted like a parent on autopilot, barely conscious as he instinctually cared for the little boy. He made them food and cut them up into tiny bits to feed his baby and if it was handfoods like pizza rolls or sandwich triangles, Danny would hold him in his arms and rock his back and forth, humming softly as his child ate.

Eventually his heat ended (note that omegas from his world don't have heats, they don't have alphas and so they don't even know what a heat is) and Danny was very surprised he has a child in his house. But he and the baby are very emotionally attached to one another. When Danny asked what the little kids name was (and man this kid was little) the kid stared at him in the way little kids do before muttering the world "Clone" followed by what sounded suspiciously like a serial number.

Danny decided, nah. His kid now. Sucks to be the bioparent cause Danny doesn't wanna share.

Somewhere in the city, the bats were freaking out. They had raided a lab and discovered not only had one of them been cloned, but the clone had escaped and no one knew where it was. Cue panicked parental frenzy.

him inhaling deeply as he places tender kisses on your skin; inching closer and closer towards your scent gland. his teeth keep gliding over it between the little affections, clearly insinuating his desire of placing his mark on you even if he’s trying to mask it.

much to his misfortune, however, all you do is tilt your head in a way that forces him to draw back.

“stop messing around,” he mutters, a tight expression on his face replacing the softer one that was there just earlier. when he moves to repeat the action, you stop him with the help of your chin touching your shoulder.

“i can mess around as much as i like,” you counter, your voice ever so slightly breathless as you readjust the collar of your blouse and redo the buttons. your hands feel tacky with sweat by the time you reach the last one at the top, but you’re happy to find out that they’re not shaking. “i’m not your property.”

“i don’t want property.” the low, almost growly sound of disapproval that immediately resonates deep within his chest in answer makes it hard not to smile.

especially when he feels the need to add, “i want a mate.”

My most controversial Dungeon Meshi opinion is that Laios would hate Omegaverse actually. He’d think it’s boring and scientifically inaccurate (the worst things it could be to him).

Y’know what? Fuck it. Omegaverse-esque Liminals and Realms. 

See the difference between being ecto-contaminated and being a liminal is the formation of a Core, however small or malformed that might be. Which is what the “secondary sex” as the living begin to refer to it as, originates from. Mostly from it being compared to a second puberty, however half jokingly. 

See, with the formation of a Core, the living start getting the equivalent of ghost hormones, start producing their own ectoplasm, yadda yadda yadda. 

But! Not all of them are the same type. There’s omegas that like to have a semi-permanent haunt that they get real territorial of, save for with younger and weaker ecto-beings. There’s alphas who are constantly wanting to move, flitting from one location to the next. There’s betas that go wherever their Fraid does, trying to keep them together and getting real aggressive towards others who try to separate them. And then there’s deltas, who are more often on the fringes of a Fraid, driven more by violence towards perceived threats and sometimes not exactly mentally stable with how strong their Obsession can get. 

The thing is that from an outsider’s perspective, especially as people begin moving out of Amity (despite the GIW’s efforts for a blackout on the city), is that they know none of this. Which means when a team of not-quite heroes pass through, they get a bit blindsided.
