Rhys' mom gave me a bunch of small boxes so I might make little portable altars/curio boxes with stuff I've got around.

A small feather, a painted rock, a string of beads/charms, a bone or two, a dried flower or leaf, a coin, etc., etc. They would be entirely unique each time.

I have my own portable altar in a pastille tin my mom got off of eBay years ago and I love it so much so I wanna make these things for people who can't or haven't been able to make their own, or perhaps for people who never thought to before. So they can get something they'd be happy with as a complete item by itself, but which they can still add things to if they also desire.

The Monologue of the Wheat Flatbreads

So very sorry , Ma’am, it’s not our fault !

We know you hate the smell of us these days.

We know we turn too stiff and hard too soon.

Worse still, we no longer give you nutrition

Or strengthen your immune system at all

We merely stuff you with carbohydrates

And crime of crimes we have carcinogens

And we can make the child you birth autistic .

It’s not our fault , dear Madam, we are helpless

Our genes themselves have now been modified

Just so that there are more of us and plumper

We are made drug-dependent before birth

The very soil we’re born in is addicted

To chemical fertiliser and then the plant

We grow on is fed toxic pesticides , and at harvest

We’re sprayed on with Round -up or Glyphosate!

Further, Madam, because of global warming

We mature much too fast for our own good

We get no time to store up micronutrients

But grow up quickly into fattening carbs !

Madam, your vegetables face the same

Except that they are also made to bear

Oxytoxcin injections to mature faster

And also to look fat and plump for longer

“ O Lady ! We receive but what we give ,

And in our life alone does Nature live “

Is also true in reverse , Madam, see :

We can give you only what we receive

And this alone , Madam, is what we get

We are no longer ourselves , simply shells

Of our old selves, we are Zombies

We are the plant- equals of Dead Men Walking

Madam, you are not gluten intolerant

Nor by the way even lactose intolerant

It is the way your food is now produced

With help from chemicals and dangerous drugs

That makes your food smell noxious taste obnoxious

So we , your wheatgrain  flatbreads, your chapatis

Apologise to you , but we are helpless

In fact your kind, Mankind, owes the whole Planet

Apologies for messing with pure Nature

Polluting the atmosphere, causing harm

Which now threatens existence of all life

On Planet Earth , but we know you yourself are good

And working hard to save Earth and all life forms

So like the Bard Khayyam said , for this sake

Forgiveness to us give , and from us take.

Stone bread! Developed in different locations, the stories show how the sin of ignoring the needy is punished by #God. Their content shows the time-frame. Christian morals were well accepted in Central Europe by then. During the #Greatfamine, a poor woman asked for some bread from her rich sister. But the stone-hearted sister denied saying, "I don't have bread. Even if I had, I would have rather wanted those to turn into stones!” All breads in her store immediately turned into stone. One person at Leiden in Netherlands brought one of those to St. Peter's Church to prove the historical fact showing that to others. During 1597 famine, a Becker in Dortmund had bought a lot of wheatgrains. He was happy that the breads will be enough to fill his store. But one day in the middle of preparation, all his breads became stones. He grabbed a loaf to cut it. As soon as he cut the bread with his knife, blood flowed from it. He hanged himself in his room right away. In the prime church of Landshut consecrated to Saint Castulus, a round stone in the shape of a bread with four small holes in surface hangs in a silver case. Legend says that the Saint had appeared there just before the fest of death. Dressed as a poor man, he visited a widow in the city to ask for alms. The woman told her daughter to give him the sole bread left in her home, kept for the needy. The reluctant daughter had to give it but she tried to save a piece from it before. The bread was actually meant for the Saint. Hence it turned into a piece of stone the moment one piece was removed. The sin of the girl showed up. They say that the fingerprints of the starving one are still seen clearly in that stone. During Great famine, a poor woman with two children in Danzig was wandering when they met a monk from the monastery of Oliva. She begged for a loaf of bread from him. The monk replied, “I don’t have any.” The woman said, “But I see you are holding one.” He replied, “Oh! This is a stone to throw at the dogs.” After some time when he took out the bread to eat, he found that it had turned into a stone. The incident shocked him. Oh no, Cave finding out will be of the most last most devestating things. Caroline goes to incredible and effective lengths to conceal her identity. Chell of course finds out, but since she’s a transfer it takes her a fricking long time to actually put a name to the face behind the mask. When she first figueres it out, Wheatgrain is like NO WAY nononononon it can’t be she would never (proceeds to exposit who Caroline was and wot she meant to the precint).
