Like Real People Do
Tumblr media
Pairing: Gyuvin x Reader
Summary: You find yourself falling for the cute boy whose writing assignments you proofread, and discover that your lives have been intertwined for longer than you thought.
Tropes: tutor!reader, basketball player!gyuvin, writers, soulmates, college AU, fluff
Word Count: 1.4k
Warnings: literally none it’s so cute
A/N: This is a formal apology for my Beomgyu angst <3
“And isn't it just so pretty to think All along there was some Invisible string Tying you to me?” —Invisible String, Taylor Swift
Gyuvin certainly doesn’t need any help with English, but it gives him a good excuse to spend time in between classes and basketball practice staring at you.
If anything, your talents would be better suited to helping one of his classmates understand all the old poems or crazy novels that they get assigned, but he’s the one who lucked out when your former professor suggested you read her most promising student’s work.
From the first draft, you were hooked, and had somehow started a writer’s circle where just the two of you meet weekly to share your works in progress.
In no time, you’ve helped Gyuvin become one of the top students in Writing 101, and he’s worried you’ll notice that he’d be just fine if you stopped helping him. Still, the A’s keep rolling in and you keep meeting up with him anyway.
When Gyuvin’s latest short story gets nominated for a departmental prize, you’re over the moon for him.
“You are so amazing,” you smile up at him. “We should celebrate! That’s a really big deal. I was nominated last year, but didn’t come close to winning.”
“I couldn’t have done it without you,” he points out, looking down at the ground and rubbing the back of his neck. “Really, Y/N. If I win, it would be just as much your prize as it would be mine.”
“Don’t be silly,” you say, packing up the rest of your lunch. You usually only see him in the library at your designated meeting time, but today, he sought you out in the courtyard to make sure you were the first person he told. “I’m just the editor. All of the ideas came from you. Plus, I’m only good at English because I grew up speaking it. It’s much more impressive for you to have learned it recently and write at the level that you do.”
“You don’t give yourself enough credit, Y/N,” he replies, helping you up off your picnic blanket. Before you can do it yourself, he’s already reaching down to fold it, his long arms handling the fabric with ease. “You’d write circles around me any day.”
“I don’t want to get into another compliment war,” you giggle, swinging your backpack over your shoulder. Recently, it’s been filled with way too many books, and your classes are so jam-packed that you never have time to run back to your room in between them.
“Here, Y/N, let me,” he says, taking your backpack from you. He’s already got his own on, but he wears yours over his front, barely even flinching at the extra weight. “Where are you headed next? I’m done with my classes for the day, so I can walk you.”
He’s always been desperate to ask you to hang out outside of your brainstorming sessions, but every time he thinks he’s worked up the courage, you’ll laugh or smile or even just glance at him and his brain short circuits.
“I have a music class across campus in thirty minutes,” you reply. “Don’t you live the other way, though? You really don’t have to walk me. It’s pretty far.”
“I want to,” Gyuvin reassures you. He offers his hand. “Here. I walk pretty fast, so let’s make sure I don’t leave you behind.”
You hesitate for a moment before taking it. You’ve had a crush on Gyuvin ever since the two of you first crossed paths—he’s the literal embodiment of sunshine trapped inside a cute boy—but things have only ever been friendly between the two of you.
His hand is big, wrapping itself around yours almost entirely. The walk is silent, although you swear you can hear your heart about to beat out of your chest as you pull him along your usual route. Gyuvin makes sure to always let you lead.
“You know,” you start, still not looking back at him. “We’re kind of like Orpheus and Eurydice right now.”
Gyuvin lights up at the reference, with mythology being one of the first things you two really bonded over. “If you looked back at me, the only thing I’d probably die of is how cute you are, Y/N.”
You’re glad you’re turned away so he can’t see the bright blush that’s spread across your cheeks. His words get you so flustered that you don’t even notice you’ve stopped walking.
“Did I say something wrong?” Gyuvin asks, his voice laced with concern. He moves to face you, your height difference causing him to crane his neck down. Meanwhile, your gaze is locked on your shoes.
“Gyuvin,” you say, still refusing to meet his eye. You pull him over to a nearby bench. “Remember when I said I liked the love story you wrote the other day?”
“Yeah, I remember,” he confirms. “You complimented me on how realistic it was and I told you it was only because I based it off of real life.”
“Was it…” your words catch in your throat, unable to face the embarrassment of if you’re wrong. “Was it about us?”
“Yes,” he admits almost immediately. You finally turn to face him, greeted by a nervous look. “Listen, Y/N. I only wrote it because I knew you’d read it, and I thought maybe if you saw how good characters that were a lot like us could be together, you’d give me a chance in real life. But you didn’t really notice, or maybe you just wanted to ignore it, so I kind of abandoned all hope of us ever being together.”
You blink back at him. How could you be so oblivious? Your entire major was based on analyzing words, and you couldn’t even see that he wanted to be with you so badly that he had to write it into existence.
Words always come easy to you, except at this very moment.
“You abandoned all hope?” is all you can manage to get out. You try to pull your hand away, but he only grips it tighter.
“I tried,” Gyuvin says, his voice soft. “But you’re all I ever think about. I honestly don’t think I’ll ever be capable of writing someone who even comes close to how wonderful I think you are, Y/N. There just aren’t words to describe all the ways in which you’re special to me.”
You laugh, his words making tears well up in your eyes. “You know, I used to go to basketball games a lot before we even met, just so I wouldn’t have to feel so lonely all the time. And I remember liking your smile and the way you always encouraged your teammates. I would go home and wish I had someone like you in my life.”
“You’re kidding,” he says, taking out his wallet. You knit your brows in confusion, watching as he pulls out a small piece of paper and unfolds it. “Here.”
He hands it to you and your eyes widen at the words printed out. It’s the poem that you had published in the school’s literary magazine last spring about wanting to romanticize your life. Talking about your feelings makes you anxious, but nobody reads those publications. Except for Gyuvin, apparently.
“I liked you before we even met, too,” Gyuvin confesses. “Your poem is actually the reason I got into writing in the first place. I used to read it before all of my games, but I know all the words by heart now, so I just keep it in my wallet for good luck.”
This all feels too good to be true, but his touch keeps you grounded in reality.
“Maybe I should start coming to basketball games again, then,” you think out loud. “I stopped going because I felt awkward not knowing anybody.”
“Well, now you’d know me, and I’ll make sure the whole team gets to know you, too, okay?” The way he smiles at you, his eyes so full of light, takes your breath away.
“Really?” you ask, looking at him in disbelief. The thought of meeting so many new people at the same time scares you, but if Gyuvin likes them, you’re sure you will too.
“On one condition,” he says, closing the gap between the two of you. He tucks a loose strand of hair behind your ear, his hand settling on your cheek. “I get to introduce you as my girlfriend.”
“Deal,” you grin, inching closer until your lips are pressed against his. You’re nervous that he’ll somehow figure out that you’ve only ever read about kissing in books, but the way he melts into you tells you that he doesn’t mind.
“You’re going to be late for class,” Gyuvin reminds you, pulling away. He desperately wants to keep going, but not at the expense of your grades.
“Class can wait,” you say, leaning in for another kiss. Your fingers lace themselves through his soft, messy hair. “I said we’d celebrate your nomination, so let’s celebrate.”

Just finished my rewatch of jatp. My perfrct track record of not crying during Unsaid Emily remains untouched. I will say though, I was very close to shedding a tear this time. However, I didn’t even cry during Stand Tall! I always cry during Stand Tall!
Anyways, I couldn’t stop thinking about all the headcanons and theories that us tumblr fantoms created and the little easter eggs we discovered while watching and rewatching the series. It makes me really appreciative of the fact that we had a sense of community during a time where a lot of us were alone, scared, and uninspired. Just like Julie, I felt a renewed sense of purpose and hope. I think that a lot of people felt the same after watching the show. Julie and the Phantoms is what inspired me to learn the piano, the ukulele, and it led me to getting a guitar. When I learned how to play the chords for the soundtrack, I was playing those songs nonstop. It really helped me brave through the unsure feelings that came along with the pandemic. It made me forget my fears about the future.
I don’t feel as hopeful about things as I did back then, but JATP will always be a land-marking point in my life. It represents newfound joy, reignited passion, and abundant vivacity. As someone who loves and is extremely passionate about music, this silly little netflix show really hit me in the most sensitive places. And while I remember having a bout of serious depression after finishing the series, (along with intense rage that while I was dealing with my depression at its lowest point, the cast of jatp was living what felt like my dream) the lessons I learned from the show were far more significant. It literally brought music back into my life, no joke.
The friends I made because of JATP will always have a special place in my heart. A lot of them don’t use tumblr anymore, and I don’t use it nearly as much as I used to, but I’m still so grateful to have been introduced to such kind, accepting, and funny people. The stories, theories, headcanons, fanfictions, moodboards, inside jokes, memes, and fanart we created will always be remembered and cherished. I’m still pro-cheesecake, I’m still highly allergic to sleeves, and every time I see an unnecessary or fake zipper, I think of my fellow tumblr fantoms.
I don’t think I’ll ever truly “get over” Julie and the Phantoms. It was the first thing that truly resonated with my spirit as a new adult. I was 19 and had dropped out of college, feeling completely lost and like I had nothing going for me. Going into lockdown because of the pandemic didn’t help with any of that, and I was aimlessly, endlessly scrolling on social media, hoping to find meaning and purpose. And one day, my friend posted a clip on snapchat of what she was watching on netflix. The guy was cute and it looked like him and the girl he was next to had a nice connection so I asked what show it was. That’s how I discovered JATP, almost 2 weeks after its release. I also just have an unhealthy attachment to the show and the characters so I refuse to let this media that speaks to my soul die.
All that being said, we really deserved another season. I think it would cure me entirely, if I’m being honest. Even if it was just a little Christmas special where they decorate a tree and do those mini stories like filler episodes of a cartoon series. Hell, I’d settle for an animated JATP episode. I just think we all deserve it after what we’ve been through not only as a fandom, but as human beings. I will never forgive netflix for it’s terrible job at promoting, because they only failed when it came to this show specifically. They managed to keep every other show, even ones far less deserving of acclaim and attention, afloat during and after the pandemic. The only reason JATP managed to get anywhere was solely the cast, creators, and fans. Paul Becker was on fucking overdrive, churning out BTS videos WEEKLY. Fanfiction writers were bursting at the seams with multi-chapter series and one shots about every possible scenario. We got things trending on twitter during the two most chronically online years. Fanart was being shared like crazy, and we had the instagram fantoms so confused by the memes that they retaliated and claimed they were superior.
Meanwhile, tumblr was in its shadowbanning era, and fantoms were in the TRENCHES trying to get their content to reach beyond mutuals and taglists. We received barely any appreciation, except for when we trended on twitter asking to renew jatp and on tumblr for jatp appreciation week. Let’s not forget when we thought Owen had a secret tumblr and we all started accusing each other of being him. I will never forget when we all rallied to get Madi to 1 million followers because we didn’t want her to become overshadowed by the boys and all the attention they were getting. We all watched their instagram lives and I will always love the tumblr fantoms who made gifs of the cutest moments from those. Everyone saw me shamelessly simp over Charlie with facial hair wearing a santa onesie. We created a whole Carrie redemption arc out of thin air, we created origin stories for Rose and the Petal Pushers, and we forced the creators of JATP to give us the official last names of Reggie, Alex, and Flynn (This adventure SPECIFICALLY!!!) We were ruthless in our efforts to uncover their last names. We used breadcrumbs to make theories and speculations, only to end up begging in every comment section and dm inbox we could to get Reggie Peters, Alex Mercer, and eventually—though much, much later—Flynn Taylor. We gave Willie more crop tops, we basically storyboarded a second season, complete with episode titles and songs! We uncovered the Sunset Curve EP using the grainiest photos in existence, we created a loose timeline surrounding everyone’s birthdays, deaths, and significant events. We orchestrated a fucking CONCERT TOUR for this band. Oh, and let’s not forget when Kenny and the boys went to Hawaii. That Hawaii trip was so eventful for the fantoms, you have no idea how serious I’m being unless you were there for it. That was something unlike anything else for so many reasons. There’s a lot more, but that’s the stuff that came to mind immediately.

I’ll admit that when I walked into my IMAX screening of GODZILLA x KONG: THE NEW EMPIRE, I wasn’t expecting very much. Not that I hated any of the previous four big screen entries in this latest iteration of the Monsterverse, they just never really connected with me in a way that made me want to revisit them. They were spectacle, and to me, little more than forgettable. I was pleasantly surprised, then, to find this entry to be the THOR: RAGNAROK of the franchise.
Not that this necessarily reaches the heights of that comparison, but just to give you an idea of the vibe that this film is bringing to the table. It’s colorful, silly, and genuinely laugh-out-loud funny at times. Once I settled in with the mindset that this was basically a very expensive version of a Saturday morning cartoon brought to life, I had a marvelous time!
The story is laughably dumb, really just a series of reasons to get to the next big set piece. I’m not saying that as a negative, either. The previous entries I personally found took themselves a little too seriously, and I appreciated this one acknowledging what kind of story it was telling, and just having fun with the material for once!
The human characters are basically just there for exposition, especially Rebecca Hall’s Ilene, but thankfully she’s talented enough to (mostly) keep you from your eyes glazing over. The MVP of this one, though, is easily the addition of Dan Stevens’ Trapper. He is in his element as a vet to the Titans, being alternately weird and hilarious in a performance that feels like a throwback to the eighties. Adam Wingard definitely made the right call to reunite with him after the criminally underrated THE GUEST.
But we’re all here for the quite literally larger than life characters, so how do they fare? Well, from a character perspective, I enjoyed the arc more than any of the earlier entries. Alternately heartwarming, exciting, and funny, I was genuinely invested in Kong and Godzilla’s globe spanning adventures. Now, about the special effects… While I really loved [most of] the design choices for the various creatures I encountered during the runtime, especially Godzilla’s glow up, I couldn’t help but be distracted by a disconnect between how the effects didn’t feel connected in a tangible way to their surroundings. Good CGI has a weight to it, this felt like nothing onscreen was truly interacting in the world that is presented.
All that being said, my packed theater seemed to have a blast. Everyone laughed at all the right moments, and the theater even burst out into spontaneous applause at one late stage moment in the film! Turn off your brain (honestly, how many more layers are they going to discover in the middle of the Earth, anyway?), enjoy the richly saturated colors, and have fun watching some of the most iconic characters in the world wreak havoc!

Pine.
Fresh. Crisp. Nostalgic.
Even with a recent coating of snow, lingering flakes still floating in the air, the scent was unmistakable. Hermione cherished the aroma more so than most others. She supposed cedar might top it, simply because her two favorite men donned the scent so regularly. However, the fresh fragrance of pine would always hold a special place deep within her heart.
But this forest and the Austrian pines were, by far, her favorite.

The arrival (QSMP x OC)
(This was proofread by Grammarly so I hope there aren't any mistakes haha)
word count: 1157 reading time: 8.9 minutes
Tumblr media
Okay… this was weird…
Why was she in the fucking woods? Wasn’t she supposed to be in her cozy room, finally sleeping before going to school?
She needed to keep calm, she couldn’t start panicking in the middle of nothingness… well it wasn’t nothingness if you consider big trees, plants, and flowers something. For our protagonist, though it was nothing, there wasn’t any kind of living creature. She was alone.
“What could I do?” she whispered to herself, she was indecisive. Should she start screaming, hoping someone would hear her, or should she try finding someone by herself?
She decided to start screaming, it probably was the dumbest thing she could do but at least someone could hear her!.... maybe at least, but that’s better than nothing.
So she yelled and screamed with all her force, her throat would probably hate her after that. “Helloooo! Is someone hereee?!” after half an hour she finally heard someone getting near her. The first thing she noticed were long locks of golden hair, a pair of elf ears, and a pair of eyes that she swears that remind her of someone… but who?
“Hey,” the girl hoped that strange man wouldn’t hurt her. “Hey,” he said back “Who are you?”. Was it wise to tell him her real name? Maybe she could use one of the OCs’ names that she created, after all, they were all a projection of herself, and that way she wouldn’t have any of her “but I’m lying” problems. “I’m Rosaleen, and who are you?” she just really hoped she wouldn’t have any problems when he called her that in the future. “I’m Forever… why are you here? I didn’t see you when I and my friends got here” So there were more people in here, now this is interesting… wait that name’s familiar… where did she hear that? “I actually don’t know how I got here…” she felt silly, in a way. She probably should know how she got in here, after all Forever knew how and why he was here, wherever “here” was. “I don’t even know where or what “here” is”.
“This is the Quesadilla Island… wait you don’t know how you got here? What do you mean by that?!” she could tell the man was perplexed about the situation. “Yeah… It seems like I have no memory about my journey here” She didn’t want to tell him she didn’t have any memories at all, it could complicate her situation even more if she did so. “You know what? I’ll take you to the Favela, my friend Cellbit might be of better help than me” and with that he started walking beside the girl, to help her get her memories back or at least to discover how she got in the Quesadilla Island.
And they walked and walked, talked and talked until they got to the famous Favela. Everything reminded Rosaleen of something but she never could remember what it was. She had memories of literally everything that happened to her before being on this island but that.
The Favela was fantastic, it was so colorful and it gave her joyful vibes like nothing bad could happen there. The first people she saw there was a man and a child. The man fluffy brown hair wasn’t too long but it was longer than what she saw from other guys that unfortunately existed in her country, he had cat hears that was somewhat hidden by the amount of hair the man had… she could swear that his eyes were one of the most gorgeous colors she ever saw, Rosaleen could stare at them all day and she probably wouldn’t get bored of them… okay she needed to stop staring at him, she couldn’t give him a bad first impression. changing the subject… the child that was with the man had beautiful dark skin, she didn’t know how to compare it to something so she didn’t, he had curly hair that hid… horns? What the fuck?! Wait he had dragon wings too?! How fucking cool was that?! There was no way the child could be even cooler… she was wrong. He had a prosthetic leg and that made him even cooler, she already decided he would be her favorite kid if there were others on this damn island.
The man and the children walked towards the two of them, the man was asking himself who was the girl beside Forever. Finally, the blonde saw the two getting near them. “Cellbit, here you are!”
“Here I am… Forever, can I ask you who’s that?” Rosaleen hoped the man wouldn’t be suspicious of her, he seemed like someone with trust issues.
“This is Rosaleen,” the blonde said energetically “She just got on the island but doesn’t remember how she got here, so I thought you could help her!”
“Yeah, I could help her but she has to wait a little since I’m a little busy right now”
“Busy with what?” she asked without even thinking, she had always been curious. Instead of Cellbit answering her, the child started writing on a plaque. “It’s a secret :)” That’s what it was written in it. “Oh, okay… excuse me but why don’t you talk?” after rethinking how it could be offensive she added “If you don’t wanna tell me it’s fine, sorry for asking haha” and awkwardly laughed hoping the kid wasn’t offended by her words.
“Não podia tar calada nè?” she whispered, hoping no one would hear nor understand her. Rosaleen knew already she would overthink about it for two days minimum. The two men, unfortunately for her, heard what she said and were intrigued by her knowledge of the Portuguese language.
“Você fala português?” asked Cellbit, if she did speak Portuguese why wasn’t she on the boat with the rest of the Brazilians?
“Eh?” why the fuck couldn’t she just shut the fuck up? “Sim… porque?” she’s fucked up.
“Por que você não estava com o resto dos brasileiros quando chegamos aqui com o barco?”
“Desculpa-me mas como posso saber disso, eh? O Forever jà te disse que não me lembro de nadinha de como cheguei aqui, tà?!” was he deaf? literally, how could she know when she had no memory of how she got here? “E, ainda mais, eu não sou brasileira. Não sei se consegues ouvir o meu sotaque, completamente horrivel eu sei, mas de certeza não é brasileiro”.
Cellbit had to give her a point, after all, that was kind of a dumb question. He apologized to the girl for claiming she was one of the Brazilians and told her he would help her tomorrow, maybe she could help him with his research since it was too late now - he didn’t want her to know he was a workaholic. Rosaleen wished a good night to the child - whose name she still didn’t know - and to Cellbit before going to Forever’s house to sleep the night.
translations: Não podia tar calada nè?: I couldn't stay shut, could I? Você fala português?: You speak Portuguese? Sim… porque?: Yes... why? Por que você não estava com o resto dos brasileiros quando chegamos aqui com o barco?: Why weren't you with the rest of the Brazilians when we got here on the boat? Desculpa-me mas como posso saber disso, eh? O Forever jà te disse que não me lembro de nadinha de como cheguei aqui, tà?!: Excuse me but how could I know that, huh? Forever already told you that I remember nothing about how I got here, alright?! E, ainda mais, eu não sou brasileira. Não sei se consegues ouvir o meu sotaque, completamente horrivel eu sei, mas de certeza não é brasileiro: And, I'm not Brazilian. I don't know if you can hear my accent, completely horrible I know, but it certainely isn't Brazilian (english isn't my first language, so i'm sorry for any translation mistake. my portuguese isn't as good too so sorry for any mistake in it too haha)

cw : angst, major character death
aristonike zephyrus :
aristonike (aristo , ari , nike) is a star child (technically god) - star children are born from supernovas/when a star dies bc stars are like more god than god himself here and ya!!! so like anyway star children are just stars but smaller and not that powerful, and they’re assigned to protect a certain planet and in this case w ari she’s like protecting the earth right (dude this is sounding more cringe to me the more i type it here LMFOAOAO) so anyway yea ever since like, the start of civilization she’s been protecting this planet !!! (crazy things)
she’s been in disguise, pretending to be a normal human and living normally (she is not normal) and stuff right ! so anyway she’s also living w her other immortal-ish friends (family (hi kilogang)) and stuff !!! she is now disguised as a college student in art history, suffering even though she literally witnessed the famous historical painters do their thing
(gonna stop here bc i’ll end up explaining the entire lore that's complete unrelated)
robin autumn :
robin (lonnie , raw (hi li) , bird) is a barista who works in a café called “starry nights” and he’s like, popular. like really popular — everyone goes to the café just to see him since he works at the counter
he’s also an art history college student and coincidentally is in the same class as aristonike, the girl who he has a crush on visits the cafe frequently. so now they’re awkward classmates !
but what robin doesn’t know is that he’s actually the reincarnation of aristonike’s first love (like first first love. ever since she descended to earth bro).
their story :
as the earth’s protector, aristonike couldn’t help but get curious about the humans living there. were they like her, perhaps? or were they completely different?
she decides to descend down to earth and observes the planet quietly, walking around and befriending some of the animals in the forest she was in. then she finds a civilization — then after observing what the humans looked like, she changes her appearance to appear more like then than her actual form. she approaches the humans hesitantly, greeting them shyly — and surprisingly, they welcome her with open arms.
after staying in the village for a while, right as she was deciding to leave and go back home, she meets a young man that introduced himself to her. then she decides to stay for a bit longer, either because she was curious about this young man or because he managed to charm her, a star child.
the more she hung out with him, the more she started to get attached . she wanted to be with him more, she wanted to touch him, to kiss him, to love him. she knew what love was — did eros discover her little friend and decided to shoot her with the golden arrow ? she’d have to ask the god soon.
aristonike knew that humans were similar to gods and stars — they had the same emotions, same features, same heart. if stars fought, then she expected it when she witnessed humans fighting each other, too.
but she definitely didn’t expect them to wage war.
what was even worse was that her first love, her partner had to go to the war. she tried to stop him, she really did, but she knew that he couldn’t. so she let him go to war, but there was absolutely no way he was going without her.
fighting side by side together, aristonike was sure that they would win this war. she was sure that after this, they could go back home to their little corner in the woods and rest. they could continue to live, to love each other.
then the dagger was thrown directly into his back.
aristonike didn’t even have the time to process it until she found herself rushing towards his bleeding body on the ground, blood soaking the grass beneath them in red.
she couldn’t save him, not when he already lost so much blood and he was already close to passing out. she whispered sweet nothings into his ear, as if praying for him to hold on for just a bit more time, as if begging him to stay alive.
she thought humans and gods were alike — they had the same emotions, same features, same hearts. the only difference was that humans were not immortal like them.
aristonike sobbed and cried and mourned, and then she yelled and shouted in anger — pouring out all her emotions until they all burst into a large explosion that almost destroyed the one thing she swore to protect. her siblings had to stop her, to hold her back before she ended up destroying herself, too.
she was scolded by the stars, of course. that was no surprise. she accepted her punishment — forced to stay away from the earth for a century. and she did, using up the time to mourn over the death of her beloved. and a century passed, and she visited the earth once more.
she did the same as before, disguising herself and shyly introducing herself, and they eagerly accept her. a few years pass, perhaps a decade, and then she sees him again — her first love, her beloved, her other half.
he looked exactly the same, the only difference was the faint different colored marks on his skin. she knew that this wasn’t the same robin as her past one, but she had to give it a shot. she introduced herself again, got him to love her again, and then he died.
another century passes, and she finds him, then the process repeats. over and over and over again. yet she never gets tired of it, she never gets tired of falling in love again and again and again. she’ll love him over and over again, until she couldn’t anymore.

Um...
Blueycapsules William x reader? Can be platonic or romantic, i don't mind.
Reader is immortalized by remanent, just like William, but they are from the 1930's.
Maybe reader is related to Joey (batim) somehow, and they are trying to stop history from repeating itself like how it happened in the studio?
You escape from one crooked empire...and stumbled into another.
What did both have in common?
They were forged by corrupt men in their pursuit of immortality--the ability to cheat death itself through unethical means. It didn’t matter who got hurt, how illegal it was, or if anyone gets killed.
They just wanted the secrets to eternal life.
As your dear uncle once said, "that is a beautiful and positively silly thought". Well you wondered if he still believed that after all the pain he’s caused. After using his own family and employees, who literally gave their life to his cartoon studio, as pawns in his great scheme.
Shame to think he tainted the admiration you once had for the characters. When he hired you to lend some extra helping hands when you were grown, you thought it was gonna be the best job in the world.
You, like many coworkers, thought it was a “dream come true”.
But little did you know..that dream would turn out to be a nightmare once you realized you were stuck in a loop.
After the ink was last to claim you, somehow you were “born again”. Not in the way that turned you into a cartoon character like Tom, Susie, and Allison...nor were you converted into an Ink Demon-fanatic like Sammy and the “Lost Ones”.
You were still able to think freely. You still felt pain and hunger.
So you thought you could escape from the studio once and for all. You remembered being deep underground, finding a river flowing with ink, and you boarded a boat in hopes you could find someone else like you.
Someone who was still partially human.
But your boat got stuck and a giant Bendy hand completely capsized it, crushing you flat.
Then you woke up in front of a Bendy statue.
It didn’t take you long to realize that the ink was preserving your life. For every death you suffered, you’d find yourself swimming in a tunnel of ink, hearing whispers and seeing a light just within your reach...and you’d wake up by the statues once you’re close enough.
You finally became immortal. But it was absolute hell.
There was no escape for you in the studio. You’ve tried everything to get out, but it seemed as if you were pulled into another dimension where the outside world didn’t exist.
Every time you thought you found an exit...you’re put right back on the first floor, walking through the entrance.
Time and time again, you failed. And it was at a point where you finally turned to Tom and Allison for help. Borrowing their blueprints for the Seeing Tool, you crafted a smaller one for yourself, hoping it’ll let you see things that they couldn’t.
It helped you anticipate the movements of Searchers, the Projectionist, Ink Bendy, and the Butcher Gang clones.
During your last “cycle”, you managed to find a tommy gun and defend yourself for the remainder of your journey. You still kept a pipe on-hand but it was much easier to press a trigger and reload than swing metal at an enemy that won’t instantly drop dread.
Then you discovered found Bendy’s lair, defeated him, and confronted Joey once and for all.
His reason?
You were being “tested” to see if you were a worthy successor. He claimed he only intended to give you this “gift” so you’d continue his work after he was long gone.
Then he asked if you were ready.
You just shot him once in the stomach.
“Sorry uncle, but you don’t get to write my story anymore. It ends here.” You said before turning on the Ink Machine replica, cranking it to its highest setting.
It held no magic properties here, spewing plain old ink. And instantly every pipe in the house burst, and he soon drowned in his own creation.
You stayed and allowed it to consume you, too, glad this was finally the end of the Drew legacy.
You were so tired.
At last you could rest.
Or...so you thought until you woke up again.
Not at the foot of some pedestal, but in a dark alleyway.
Although confused and a bit disappointed, you were relieved that you weren’t back in that dreaded studio...or else everything you’ve done would have been for nothing.
It seems killing Joey was the key all along.
You frowned slightly as you thought of all the people you worked with, hoping they were somehow free from the cycle, too. It’s what they deserved. It didn’t matter how many times Sammy and Susie sent those ink monsters to kill you...they deserved freedom just as much.
The faint smell of pizza caught your attention. ‘God..when’s the last time I smelled any food besides bacon?’ You mused, looking towards the brick walls and seeing a dirty poster.
Apparently it was for this pizzeria, and you saw a trio of colorful animal characters on it. And the year 1984 on the bottom.
‘Wow...was I gone for that long?’ You were stunned.
Nearby, you saw some broken glass and went to carefully pick up a shard to look at yourself, but it sliced your finger by accident.
“Ouch..” You winced, before realizing your cut wasn’t red but...
Black. Just like the ink. And it healed you after a few moments.
“Great..the very thing I hate is a permanent part of me now..” Grumbling, you tried being more careful this time and successfully picked up a shard to look at yourself. Your eyes still slightly glowed a golden yellow, but the rest of you was back to normal.
What a relief.
As you put it down, you spotted something nearby that dimly glowed pink, hiding among the trash bags. In curiosity you picked it up and realized it was a quarter-full jar of some liquid, pink with purple swirls .
It looked rather mystical, holding a similar viscosity to ink.
You eyebrows slightly furrowed as you read the label. It was “Jelly”, but you don’t recall ever seeing glowing jelly like this in your life.
Must be something new invented. After all, you’ve spent over 50 years in that damned studio. But somehow you haven’t aged a bit..then again age didn’t matter anymore.
With your mini-Seeing Tool, you examined it closely, though it didn’t reveal anything special. Its lights were out, too, the battery likely dead. “Damn..” You grumbled, putting it down on the ground and trying to check if you have spares.
In an instant, you saw it melt into a puddle of ink, evaporating before you had the chance to retrieve it.
That’s right..everything you used to survive was molded by ink, and it seems that contact with the real world would destroy it. You huffed stood up, checking your gun next.
Luckily it was still physical and had bullets, though you weren’t going to test if they were real or ink.
‘I’ll have to find a gun shop somewhere, get a permit if I have to-’
“Oh....so you found my jelly.”
Blinking, you looked up to see a short brown-haired man dressed in purple, his neck and arms wrapped in fresh bandages. He was holding some kind of crank pipe, with his pinky stretched outwards.
You recalled some of your British coworkers sharing a similar trait.
He looked at you, perplexed by your glowing eyes. But then his gaze trailed to the jar in your hands and huffed, storming over to you.
“Gimme that, will ya?” Quite rudely he snatched it, clutching it tightly. “Didn’t your mumsy ever tell you not to touch shite that didn’t belong ta’ ya?”
“I didn’t think it belonged to anyone.” You huffed. ‘How nice..the first living human I’ve talked too in decades is an asshole.’
As he scowled, you noticed his pupils seemed mismatched. You would’ve said something snarky but thought better of it.
“Anyway, I-”
“Why are your eyes glowin’ like that?” He stared. “Looks like a bloody demon possessed you.”
He was rude about your eyes anyway.
Sighing, you just shook your head. “You’re not gonna believe me if I tell you.”
“Spill.”
“And why should I?”
For a moment he was quiet, before he held up the jar. “If I told you what this was, would you believe me?”
“...touché.”
Although skeptical, you did tell him a very, very short story about your time in the studio, and all the endless “loops” you’ve suffered through. He seemed uninterested and bored until you mentioned the immortal life you were given thanks to the ink.
Then he was gazing at you in astonishment. “Wot? So..your uncle found anotha’ key to eternal life??? Where is he now??”
“Dead. He’s a scumbag who only saw us as pawns in his sick game, turning everybody into monsters.” You spat bitterly. “I drowned him myself with his own creation.”
“...oh.” His expression deflated, though he perked back up with a smirk. “But you still have it, don’t you? The ink that supposedly made you immortal?”
“Well..yeah, and in the studio ink could do so much more. It could create weapons, tools, and life-sized cartoon characters from 2-D drawings...but with horrendous side effects.”
In your mind you thought of the Bendys, Borises, and Alices you’ve seen, shivering a bit at the memories.
“My uncle..he wanted to bring them to life, a-and keep doing so forever and ever so you’d only see his company in the headlines. But his dream is not what it seems...immortality is not as fun as you’d think. Not when you’re doing the same shit again and again. But now that I’m free...”
Looking down at your hands, you sighed. “...at least I’m just immortal. Or..so I think. I can heal pretty fast.”
“You can heal yourself? Hm...I’m gonna try something.”
“Try wha-”
You barely had time to look up as you felt a heavy metal strike you, knocking you to the ground. Ink splattered all around you as you grunted in pain, seeing nothing but the black liquid covering your vision.
When it faded away you turned your head back to him, scowling. But from his perspective he could see the dent he left in the side of your face, revealing neither flesh nor bone...but pure ink. More flowed over the dent and repaired your skin, as if nothing ever happened.
“Blimey..it’s incredible. A hit like that should’a killed you...but no. It’s exactly like remnant, only self-repairing..” He gawked, staring at the ink-coated crank in shock.
“Goddamn..you could’ve just punched me in the nose and it would’ve had the same effect.” Groaning, you rubbed your eyes to clear the ink from your vision, slowly standing up. “It’s like I was hit by a thousand Charleys all at once..”
“.....y-you know Charlie?”
“Yeah, clones of the Butcher Gang who-”
“Okay stop, I get it.” Suddenly his gaze turned serious, all traces of his previous panic vanishing. “Follow me, and don’t say a word to anyone or I’ll hit you ten times harder than they ever did.”
That was all he said as he turned around and headed for the purple car parked nearby.
‘What am I, his damn lab rat?’ You huffed, but decided to follow him anyway.
Honestly you’d rather stay a million miles away from this guy, yet he seems to be the only one to understand your situation.
Though...you didn’t like how obsessive he seemed over your immortality.
..........
“It’s called remnant..here it’s the key to eternal life and I’m trying to create more of it.” William shoved a notebook across his workshop’s table so you could read it. “Was goin’ to show my son Maikol, but eh..I doubt he’d follow in my footsteps. He’s a cowardly brat. But lookie here. Just at this one and nothin’ else.”
“Okay but-”
Hearing a door slam shut, he jumped and suddenly bolted up the stairs, shouting at his son. You were curious about who this “Maikol” was, but you had a feeling he was in a similar situation as you.
Except....he had a choice. You didn’t.
You looked all around, seeing at least a dozen full jars of remnant, including some that were yellow. But you sat down in the chair and looked at the notebook he laid in front of you, wondering more about this substance.
His writing talked about how it was made, melting objects haunted by spirits and giving its emotions (particularly agony) a physical liquid form. It was also useful in powering complex machines indefinitely without them needing a recharge or external source.
You thought of the old Bendy animatronic that never left the worktable, thinking this stuff could’ve been useful.
Then again, the ink probably could’ve done the same for him. The GENT company allowed you to make basic tools from ink, for crying out loud. You wouldn’t need any fancy glowing goop.
Though you couldn’t help but see some parallels.
Ink and Remnant...two liquids with magic properties that could bring characters to life--be they toons originating from paper or bipedal animatronic animals.
They were capable of fulfilling dreams and bringing fantasy to life, fueling a company’s success. And becoming one with it would grant the promise of eternal life.
But with such hopes and dreams there was always a price.
People always suffered for it.
And you found out who suffered in this world...and it was more horrifying than you ever could’ve imagined.
Not coworkers, but children. Literal children.
One notebook caught your eye and, going against his wishes, you opened it and discovered the names of children, including one named “Charlie Emily”, noting her death was due to strangulation on Halloween. And her spirit came to inhabit some Puppet-like creature, who was extremely hostile.
‘God..no wonder he freaked when I mentioned Charley.’
Apparently that was William’s first discovery of remnant after getting her arm burned in a fire...then he experimented further by slaying other children and having them possess more animatronics, melting down parts of them to gain more remnant...and in turn making machines that could help him harvest an even greater amount.
It made you feel sick to your stomach. You had to close the book and shove it away, not wanting to see anymore of it.
He was just like Joey.
Obsessing over eternal life, pretending to give a shit about his company, and being a cruel and merciless son of a bitch under the surface.
History was just repeating itself right before your very eyes.
“My god..William, what are you doing?” You whispered to yourself.
“Learning about immortality! What else would I be doing?”
Tensing, you spun around to see the Brit back in the basement, smiling creepily as he advanced towards you. For a moment you thought his own eyes were glowing, albeit an eerie white.
“Isn’t it fascinating how-?”
“No..y-you’re insane!”
“Ah..so you found those notes.” He tilted his head to the side, frowning deeply now. He thought this research would be exciting to you and help you see immortality in a more positive light.
Apparently this man was absolutely ignorant of the hell you endured.
“Look.” He sighed. “If there was another way to harness it, I would. That girl’s death..was purely accidental! I didn’t mean to kill her..a-and she attacked me in my own home! Am I not allowed to defend myself?”
You refused to answer him, only looking back at his notes and the red strings on the corkboard hanging up. The man might’ve been smart, but he was just lying through his teeth.
“[Y/n]. Sometimes when you really, really want something..you have to make a few-”
“Sacrifices? Is that what you were gonna say? Because I know all about them. I’ve watched people get sacrificed to the Ink Demon.” You hissed back at him. “And it turned him and everyone into abominations..like what you’re doing to these poor animatronics.”
“Demons? You’re speakin’ like you were in a cult.” He raised an eyebrow.
“More or less..that’s what it felt like at the studio. A hellish cult I couldn’t escape from until now!! Then I stumble into a world where some dumbass is trying to do the exact same thing?!!”
“...we don’t have demons or cults, though.”
In your anger you took out a small book from your pocket--the Employee Handbook--and held it up with a scowl. “See this? I was the editor for this damn book..something I treasured!! It told me everything I needed to know about the machine and I had to vandalize it in order to survive!! You think I wanted to do this?!”
Instead of answering your question, his eyes went to your book. “That holds everythin’ about the ink machine, you say?”
That was the moment you realized you spoke too much. He stepped closer to you and you hid the book from his view, frowning. “Back off.”
“I shared my secrets, so why not share yours?” William huffed, disappointed. “That’s quite rude, innit?”
“It’s quite rude to think you’re entitled to shit, innit?” You mocked his accent. “You’re not gonna get any use out of it. You can’t replicate any of this stuff unless you wanna go all the way from Utah to New York-”
“THEN I WILL IF THAT’S WHAT IT TAKES!!!’
Your eyes widened in shock as he exploded in anger. This man was truly unhinged. He craved eternal life..as though he was afraid of death itself, and was willing to lie, steal, and kill for it.
Exactly like Joey.
You’d never be able to choose between the two evils even if your life depended on it.
“Well it’s a shame that if it leaves my grasp it’ll become useless goop.” You sneered. “And it’s not like you can kill me for it, right? You already tried that once.”
He just gritted his teeth, infuriated. You were definitely more powerful than him and it absolutely sickened him to the core.
“If you go there, you’re just gonna get stuck walking through the same halls, flipping the same switches, riding the same elevators, being hunted by the same ink monsters over and over again. I know how to deal with them but I’m not telling a murderer that. You can die there for all I care.”
“Murderer?!” He echoed in feigned offense. “I’m a genius, [y/n]..you must have ink coverin’ your eyes if you’re so blind to what I’m tryin’ to do!! But fine..if you’re not convinced, you can just bugger off and find your own way. Good luck out there.”
“Thanks.” With that snarky remark, you left the basement and all of his work behind. No way in hell were you going to get involved with this. Not after what you’ve been through to escape this exact thing.
Starting tomorrow, your new life will begin. One without any ink monsters and animatronics.
After you departed, William noticed that you left a trail of inky footprints. At first he groaned at the thought of cleaning them all up. He ought to call Michael up and make him clean it himself.
But he was still curious about this ink. So he grabbed one of the empty jars and scooped some into it, sealing it shut. It wasn’t as remarkable as the remnant, though it still intrigued him nonetheless.
“No worries, [y/n]. I’ll figure out your secrets.” His lips curled into a sinister smile as he observed the black goop.
“I work best alone anyway.”

summary: did captain america just steal your cat?
pairing: steve rogers x reader
word count: 2.5k
warnings: tooth rotting fluff, strangers to lovers
author’s note: it’s been way too long since i wrote some pure, self indulgent fluff. this has been quite the refreshing experience for me but i think it’s back to our regularly scheduled program after this ;)
you can find my masterlist and taglist here
Miso had an air of arrogance that you admired. She took the world by its kitty balls, doing whatever she pleased whenever she pleased. Your cat left the apartment for sometimes days at a time, and frequently led male cats to your door. To you, your cat was more like a roommate than a pet, hogging up most of your bed, standing on the counter while you attempted to make food for yourself, and leaving most areas dirtier than she originally found it.
Okay, maybe you were personifying your cat a little too much. But after moving out to D.C., you were unspeakably lonely. Most days, it felt like Miso was all you had, and that you were all Miso had (save for her army of cat boyfriends).
This made things all the more concerning for you when you’d realized that you hadn’t seen your cat companion in five days. Five whole days without the comforting vibration of her purr, her ungodly hours of wakeup calls demanding to be played with, or pet. The cherry on top was that the cat food outside your door appeared to be completely untouched.
In your frenzied realization of your missing cat, your mind raced with a thousand different terrible situations your dear Miso could’ve found herself in. You frantically clicked through pictures of her on an online album and attempted to find a photo that would capture her white fur with large blobs of auburn, and her vibrant blue eyes to put on your ‘MISSING’ sign. The longer you clicked, the more that you began to worry that she had been caught and kidnapped by some terrible person with bad intentions.
You finally threw together the poster, sending it to your phone so that you could print it off at the OfficeMax down the street. Luckily for you, you didn’t make it that far, as the moment you began to lock the closed door of your apartment, you saw the unmistakable figure of your cat.
In the arms of your neighbor.
Now, you’d never met Steve. He was an Avenger, Captain America to be exact, and you were just… you. You’d convinced yourself that attempting to introduce yourself to him would ultimately end in failure, and an embarrassing one at that. Maybe he’d scoff and walk away, or call Tony Stark in front of you and tell him about the crazy woman he just encountered.
But none of that mattered. Captain America was stealing your fucking cat.
“Excuse me, sir?” You asked, stepping away from your door and approaching the Greek God of a man to the right of you.
“Oh, hey! We must be n-“
“You have my cat,” you said bluntly.
“I’m sorry, what?” Steve seemed to do a double take
“My cat, y’know, the feline in your arms.”
“Well, maybe we just have similar looking cats. This is Arabella.”
You nearly scoffed at this, shaking your head. First, Captain America kidnapped your cat, and now he’s trying to convince you that it’s not your cat? Yeah, you’d know Miso from a mile away. And what kind of name is Arabella?
“Arabella is a great name for her,” Steve retorted, pulling the cat closer to his chest. Shit, did you say that out loud?
“Well I think it’s time for Miso to come back home,” the cat’s ears perked at this, and she glanced over at you. The sight of you made her wiggle and hop out of Steve’s tight embrace, landing on her feet and trotting over to you. The damn cat rubbed her face against your calf and purred as if she hadn’t been cheating on you for long enough to have gained a new name.
You squatted down and rubbed the back of your hand against her cheek, and shook your head at your pet, “you’re getting put on probation, young lady.”
She didn’t seem to mind, pacing back and forth around you. You glanced up and saw Steve with a rather neutral expression on his face, as if he was masking whatever it was that he was feeling.
“I’m sorry about that, ma’am. Uh, maybe I’ll see you both around sometime,” disappointment coated his every word before he opened up his apartment door and promptly closed it behind him.
You were surprised at how quickly he conceded, but you weren’t particularly mad about it either. You weren’t sure what you’d do if you never got your Miso back.
——
A whole day later, you’d been in your apartment typing up an email when a soft rapping at your door got your attention.
“Just a second!” you called, hopping up and hurrying to the door. When you opened it, Steve was standing in front of you, waiting with an oversized box in his hands.
“These are some of Ar- Miso?” he trailed off, waiting for you to confirm the name, and you gave him a tiny nod. “These are some of Miso’s toys. I just figured if she’s not staying at my place anymore…”
As if on cue, Miso strolled up to the door, and stretched her arms up on Steve’s leg, begging to be picked up. The man glanced at you for approval, and you gave a dismissive shrug before he set down the box, and held up the cat.
Steve frowned as he held her, and frankly, it pulled on your heart strings. You had to remind yourself that this man had been holding your cat captive for at least a week, and at most… who knows.
She clearly had a connection with him, and that was what intrigued you most. Miso was a very picky cat, and it was only occasionally that she found someone that she genuinely liked, let alone wanted to be picked up by. If you continued to watch the display of affection in front of you, you might just cave.
“Uh, I left something in the oven for a little too long, so I should probably go get that. Thanks for stopping by.”
Steve nodded, understanding that it was time for him to exit.
——
You should’ve seen this coming the minute Miso was back in your home. You stepped out of the shower one morning to find your front door slightly ajar, and your animal nowhere to be found.
You huffed, frustrated that just three days after you told yourself that your cat was completely indoor from that point on, she had escaped. She could literally be anywhere at this point.
In a whirlwind, you threw on a sweatshirt and pants, ready to go print out the missing posters that you had designed just a few days ago. As you slipped on sneakers, you realized something very crucial. She might just be at Steve’s place.
You groaned aloud, rubbing your temple as you thought of how difficult your cat was being. You were becoming a bit nervous to approach Steve, you hadn’t gotten off to the greatest start, and if your cat wasn’t there, things might just be awkward.
Regardless, you knew you needed to try, so you exited your own home, and knocked on the door of Steve’s.
A few moments later, he appeared with your cat in tow.
“Hey!” he paused and trailed off, “I never got your name before.”
“That’s what you care about right now?” you glanced down at your animal. “It’s Y/N, by the way.”
“Hi, Y/N. Miso and I were just enjoying breakfast, if you’d like to join us?”
Was Steve shooting his shot?
“I appreciate your offer, but I think I’m alright. I have to get back to work, and my cat is still in your custody,” your eyes flickered down to the animal who stood proudly by his side.
“Maybe some other time,” he shrugged. “You work from home?”
You nodded, then squatted down to get eye level with your cat.
“I’m jealous,” he chuckled. “Alright, I’ll stop bothering you now. Bye Miso, see you around, Y/N.”
You picked up your cat, who briefly dug her nails into the ground in resistance before submitting to her capture. As you brought her back home, you couldn’t help but wonder if you’d made the right choice.
——
Ever since you’d discovered Miso, or Arabella’s secret life, it’s like you couldn’t stop noticing her connection to Steve.
Some days, she’d be gone until the dead of night, when she’d meow and paw at your front door until you woke up. Other times she’d be laying in bed with you, and she smelled distinctly of your neighbor. Your cat had single handedly turned a stranger into a thoroughly integrated part of your life.
It was as if Miso was now your child, and Steve your ex-husband in a Cold War style custody battle, where Miso seemed to prefer her father. It was slightly disheartening. At the very least, you knew she was in good hands.
You held a throw pillow to your chest while you watched a rerun of a sitcom on your television, procrastinating in your work for as long as you possibly could. The sound of a knock on your door pulled you from your trance, and as you peeked through the peephole of your door, you saw a slightly distorted Steve.
Opening up the door, you gave him just the faintest hint of a smile, “what’s up, neighbor? Need me to grab you some treats for Arabella, or something?”
“Kinda the opposite,” he gestured with his head down to the cat squirming in his hands. “I’m gonna be gone on a mission for the next week or so. I just wanted to let you know that if Miso gets out, she’s not with me.”
Steve set her down on your carpet, and she happily collapsed at your feet, “keep her safe for me, alright?”
——
You took a deep breath as you approached his door, hoping he hadn’t left just yet. You fiddled with the sticky note containing your number, and polaroid photo of your cat in your hand, considering turning around and scrapping the idea all together.
It was silly to think that an Avenger would ever bother reaching out to you. You were probably overstepping anyway. Steve would think you were a freak and take full custody of your beloved Miso once and for all.
Going against your better judgment, you set down the polaroid-note combo and quickly slid it under Steve’s door. Whatever happened happened.
The next morning, you were pleased to receive a notification from an unknown number.
Send Miso pics?
You were more than happy to oblige.
——
Over the course of Steve’s week-long mission, you’d sent several pictures and videos of your cat doing random things. Trying to get on the table, sleeping on top of your dryer, and even playing with one of the toys Steve provided.
Surprisingly, Steve wasn’t as dry of a texter as you thought he’d be. He was eating up all of the Miso content, and would occasionally even ask for you to send more photos.
The final night of his mission, you were surprised when you received a FaceTime request, at first writing it off as a technical error (he was from a different time period, after all), but the follow up call demonstrated his intentions.
You cautiously picked up, the knot in your stomach growing as you did so, “hello?”
“Hi!” Steve greeted optimistically, the phone just a bit too close to his face. “Any Miso sightings?”
“Yeah, she’s actually sleeping on my foot right now,” you chuckled, flipping the camera so you could show her off in your dim, lamp-lit bedroom.
“So cute,” he hummed, “how have you been?”
“Me?” you laughed quietly, “I’m not the one on a top secret mission in god-knows-where. But I’ve been fine. How are you?”
“Honestly? I’m pretty tired. Kinda can’t wait to get home and see you and Miso,” he said in a quieter voice.
Your brain stalled out for a second. Steve was excited to see you? You hoped that you were reading this the right way, as you were more than willing to go with whatever it was that Steve was putting down.
“We’ll be expecting an immediate visit from you, then. I’ll let Miso know that she needs to start kneading a bread loaf for you as soon as possible. Any idea of what time you’re getting into D.C.?”
“Probably late morning, but it really depends on when Natasha gets up.”
You had a moment where you realized that you were talking to a real life superhero, and he had just referenced his friend… who was also a superhero. You paused for a second.
“Y/N? Hey, you still here?”
“Yeah! Yeah. I just zoned out for a sec. Well, you better get here safe or else someone is going to be very annoyed with you.”
Steve laughed softly across the line, and you adjusted yourself in bed, yawning softly.
“I’m sorry, I forgot how late it is over there,” Steve apologized.
“Don’t worry, I was up anyway. One of Miso’s boyfriends is pretty upset that he can’t come in here and spend the night with her.”
“Which one?”
“I think that grey one. I don’t really know what his voice sounds like, but she’s been leading him on lately,” you responded, eliciting a laugh from both you and Steve.
“Try to get some sleep, okay? I don’t need you snoozing while I come to visit our girl.”
“You are something else, Steve Rogers,” you said fondly, adjusting your phone one last time as you hugged a pillow. “I’ll get to sleep. See you tomorrow.”
“See you tomorrow. Sweet dreams, Y/N.”
You hung up, and cuddled into your pillow with a sigh. Calling your dreams that night sweet was an understatement.
——
You seemed to be Steve’s first stop after his mission, stopping at your door with his duffel bag still attached to his arm, and wearing a slightly dirty and much too small white t-shirt.
Expecting his presence, you quickly got the door and gave him a toothy grin.
“It’s so good to see your face without a screen,” Steve commented. Internally, you swooned.
“I could say the same for you, Steve.”
Miso had been summoned by the sound of Steve’s voice, practically sprinting to the door and meowing at him on the top of her lungs.
“Miso really appreciates you coming here to see her first,” you added as he lifted her up and quietly cooed into her wrinkly head. “Feel free to take her for the next few days. I’m sure she’s getting tired of me.”
Steve shook his head at you, and grinned, “that’s so sweet of you,” he briefly looked down at his wristwatch, and his brows raised.
“Shit. I have to go, but I promise to see you soon. I’m glad to see that everything is well. Take care, Y/N,” Steve began making his way back to his own apartment, and you watched him with the semblance of a frown.
You really needed to stop longing for the unobtainable.
——
You hadn’t heard from Steve in a few days following his return, and your brief interaction with him. Part of you wondered if he was avoiding you for some  reason.
Your phone lit up the room as it went off, and you grabbed it to look at the notification you received.
A picture of Steve grinning with Miso sitting on his chest looked back at you with a simple message connected to it.
Wanna come over? :D

I remember watching you blitz through the blog, leaving likes on a lot of the stories. It really made my day! Now, who knows how many months late, I bring you some silly Witchers and their mutagens.
Kaer Morhen’s Open Door Policy
When Jaskier was invited to Kaer Morhen, he’d thought the open door policy that Geralt mentioned meant that anyone was welcome to stay for the winter. It warmed his heart that the Wolves were so welcoming and generous with their winter lodgings. What Jaskier didn’t anticipate was that said open door policy was a literal thing. He arrived in Kaer Morhen with Geralt, they were stomping snow off their boots when someone rounded the corner at some speed. Slowing down, the man made a beeline for them.
“Lambert,” Geralt greeted before he was veritably bowled over in a hug. If Jaskier squinted, he could have sworn Geralt was given a long sniff and maybe even a lick, perhaps over the lips. But surely he must have seen wrong because Jaskier himself wasn’t given such a greeting.
Two more figures appeared and introductions were made to Eskel and Vesemir. It was quite nice really, even if a lonely winter with just the five of them. However, if gave Jaskier a chance to get used to the ways of the keep. Mostly, it was learning to leave doors open a crack and how to keep the hinges well oiled at all times. If he didn’t, it was guaranteed someone would turn up.
At first Jaskier had thought it was because he wasn’t trusted, not an accepted member of the pack. But that thought was quickly thrown out the window, especially when he was dragged into the cuddle piles in front of fires. Those were rather nice, if a little too warm and sweaty for his liking. Yet, every single time he forgot about keeping a door open, whenever it snicked shut behind him or clicked open as he stepped through, within ten seconds one of the other residents appeared. Usually it was Lambert, rounding the corner at quite a pace even as he tried to make it look like he hadn’t dropped everything and run. It was rather offensive in a way, at least that was what Jaskier thought until he was sat quietly in the library, Lambert browsing for something when his head snapped up all of a sudden and he was off at full pelt. That wasn’t the first time Jaskier saw him running. On more than one occasion Lambert almost bowled him over in corridors as he rushed towards whatever he had heard.
“Doors,” Geralt had explained quietly one night. “If we hear a door open or close, there’s this overwhelming urge to go see who it is, what had happened.”
Now that Jaskier knew, he paid more attention. Any door had Lambert running. Much more sedately, Eskel would usually follow, lumbering towards the source of the noise and trying desperately to look like he wasn’t doing exactly like Lambert. However, he had a weakness, as Jaskier discovered. The cupboard doors in the kitchen. If Jaskier, or anyone else for that matter, happened to go and look in one, Eskel was bound to bumble into the kitchen within a short space of time, looking bashfully hopeful. It was cute, Jaskier even started indulging and giving Eskel snacks because the way he softened and smiled at the offering was far too endearing.
“You’re only encouraging him,” Vesemir grumbled as he watched Jaskier hand Eskel half a slice of honey coated bread. Rather than argue, Jaskier gave Vesemir the other half, not commenting on how the old Wolf appeared for seemingly no reason in the kitchen. The treat certainly silenced him.
For a first winter, it was a good one. Jaskier was satisfied when he left that he was getting the hang of the odd open doors policy. It was the next winter that proved to test his patience. As well as the Wolves, there was a Cat there too. Haughty and aloof, Aiden spent most of his time perched up high somewhere. He slowly warmed up to Jaskier though, cautious at first. However, Aiden seemed to be rather fond of the open door policy, only ever opening or closing a door when he wanted attention. And that was rather frequently. More than once a day Lambert would go running because Aiden slammed a door somewhere, wanting to play.
It was all very well until Jaskier had to use the privy. That was one door that the Wolves learned not to run to. Even though Lambert still twitched, head swivelling it its direction before grumbling and returning to what he was doing. Jaskier was trying to just have a peaceful moment to relieve himself, a considerate two stalls down from an occupied booth when he heard someone else come in.
“Lamb?” Aiden’s voice drifted through the air, a little plaintive and lost.
“What?” Not all that unusual for Lambert to sound irritated.
“What are you doing?”
Jaskier’s eyebrows shot up at the question. What could Lambert be doing in the privy other than the obvious one of four things?
“I’m taking a shit.” Well, that answered which of the four it was but Jaskier could heard the sounds of a body leaning heavily against the door.
“Oh.” Aiden sounded almost disappointed. “I thought I heard some rustling like a snack being opened.”
“I promise I’m not fucking eating while taking a shit. Who eats in here anyway?” Grumbling, Lambert scoffed. “Don’t tell me, I bet it’s Geralt.”
Jaskier couldn’t hold his tongue anymore. “Geralt most certainly does not eat in the privy.”
The sound of a body moving and Jaskier knew Aiden was stood outside the door to his cubicle. “Jaskier. You’re in there.”
“No I’m not.”
For a moment there was confused silence before Lambert growled. “I swear Aiden, if you don’t leave us alone-” his threat was lost as Aiden moved back to Lambert’s door and there was an odd scratching sound. “No. Aiden. Don’t you dare. You can’t sit on my lap here! Not again. We almost broke it last time. Get out. Get out!”
The sound of a door being kicked shut and a huff from Aiden gave Jaskier a good idea of what had jut happened and he was scared to go out. However, not a minute later another voice joined the fray.
“What happened?” Eskel asked.
Jaskier buried his face in his hands in despair. So much for a peaceful piss.
The whole door thing was becoming quite ridiculous. Especially with Aiden slamming them to get Lambert’s attention. And then being offended whenever he encountered a closed door. Those were all gently knocked on and a head poked through if there was no answer. It meant nothing was private and Vesemir had to use a broom to get Aiden off the top of his wardrobe one evening when the Cat had gone missing all afternoon. He seemed to have no respect or care for anything, not when it came to prime napping spots.
It got to the stage that the common areas had their doors removed and Vesemir started hanging heavy furs in their place. Which did actually make the rooms warmer and there was no more needless running around. Though Eskel still bumbled into the kitchen in the hopes of a shared snack. Jaskier had rapidly cottoned on to the fact Vesemir fought such an urge in a novel and simple way. He was almost always either in the kitchen or within sight of it. So he could see if there was an opportunity for a snack without having to move. The old Wolf was clever, Jaskier had to give him that.
Some days, Jaskier did crave a bit of silence and solitude. Those were rare and far between days but they did happen. When they came, he took to wandering through the crumbling corridors of Kaer Morhen, trying to imagine what it had been like in its glory days. Quite amazing, he should think. So lost was he in his musings, Jaskier didn’t notice until too late that the floor wasn’t solid below his feet. It gave way and he fell with a yelp, landing awkwardly on his ankle. The pain was quite blinding, rendering him into a whimpering mess, throat tight and unable to call for help. Even when he managed to gather himself up, it didn’t seem to help. His voice just didn’t carry and the Wolves probably couldn’t hear him. It was cold, dark and Jaskier was in pain which made it difficult to think. There was a door not far from him and, in a moment of sheer desperation, he pulled himself towards it on shaking arms. Near enough, he reached for it and, with all his might, slammed it shut. It bounced open from the force and echoed through the room. Mustering up a little more energy, Jaskier shoved it again and the crack of door hitting frame made him wince. That would have to do. Jaskier managed to lie down, pillowing his head on his arms, shivering.
His hopes were answered when he heard the steady stomp of running feet skidding to a halt.
“The fuck?” There was the sound of a deep inhale as the area was scented. “Where you got to bard?”
“Down here,” Jaskier called back and squinted towards the hole he had fallen through. “My ankle.”
“Why would you do that? Wait. Never mind.” Lambert turned away and, a hand cupped against his cheek and lips he let out what could only be called a howl before his attention was back on Jaskier. “What did we tell you about wandering off?”
More feet, more people and Jaskier teared up in relief. He watched as Aiden hopped down the hole and took stock of the damage. A soft cry of pain left Jaskier as he was picked up and his ankle was jostled. In a few, seemingly easy, jumps, Aiden was passing Jaskier over to Geralt who cradled him against his chest. There was a still body-warm jacket draped over Jaskier and he burrowed into it, finding Eskel’s scent mixing with Geralt a comfort.
In the infirmary he was patched up, fussed over and, in the end, bundled into a pile in front of a fire where the others snuggled protectively up against him. By the next morning all the doors were back in place and Vesemir ground his teeth when Aiden slammed the kitchen one for Lambert’s attention.

Part 1/10 (Part 2)(Part 3)(Part 4)(Part 5)(Part 6)(Part 7)(Part 8)(Part 9)(Part 10)
Tumblr media
Draco had thought back to every other time in his life where he had felt like this, and nothing came to mind. There wasn’t another second of his torturous life that felt like this. He tended to count his blessings where he had them, and you were a blessing in his life. One that he woke up every single day thanking God for, Draco isn’t sure he’d ever love anyone the way he loves you. But he knew from the start, that the two of you were doomed, two lovers caught on each side of the war. His Father in direct relation with the Dark Lord, and you- Harry Potter’s cousin. There was a target on your back from the second you got to Hogwarts all those years ago and when Draco had first met you- he didn’t understand just how much danger you were already in.
Nobody looked at Draco the way you did, nobody looked at him like he was worth saving. But when you looked at him, you saw something in him that he didn’t even see in himself. Draco believes that he was never a good person until he met you, and even then whether or not he was good is still up to debate. You inspire people to be better, to be good and if there is no good- you create it. You are a light in an everlasting darkness, and he doesn’t deserve you. But selfishly he wants to keep you- and he knows you’d never voluntarily leave him. He had to make the choice for you. You can’t stubbornly stand by his side if you don’t remember you’re in love with him.
The Black Lake looks darker than Draco remembered it being. The view he currently held from the astronomy tower was beautiful in it’s own way, but now that he held every memory you have of him in his hands- the beauty seemed to slip out of the world. Looking down at the small vial in his hands, the vial containing your memories of him, his bottom lip quivers. He can’t stand how emotional you make him, you make him feel both weak and strong at the same time. His hand curls around the vial, Draco knows this is what he needs to do. He never expected it to be this hard though.
Closing his eyes, Draco decided to take one last walk down memory lane before he would destroy your memories of him forever.
The first time you had met Draco was when you were stood on the steps next to your cousin, Harry. Draco was stood in front of you, and although his eyes were on Harry- the blush on his cheeks came from being so close to you. Draco had held his head high, even when you snapped at him and told him how wonderful you found Ron to be. Draco always admired your sharp tongue, your unwillingness to step down when you felt passionately about something. He’s going to miss being your voice of reason, or the hand that holds you back when you’re ready to literally fight for what you believe in. You always say what you’re really thinking, how you’re really feeling. That’s something Draco has never really had the strength to do. If he did he would have said he loved you more often, and perhaps would have told Harry that he doesn’t hate him.
Draco vividly remembers the first time you looked at him, and saw him in a way nobody else does. Not even Crabbe and Goyle. He was sat in the back corner of the Library, hiding away from everyone and everything after receiving yet another disappointed letter from his Father. You’d been gathering books to study for Potions when you spotted him sitting secluded, alone. You didn’t hesitate to go sit next to him, and when you looked over at him you saw every emotion he carefully hid from the world written plainly on his face. As if you had the only key to unlock the innermost parts of his brain. After a few minutes of gentle coaxing, Draco eventually began to open up to you about his Father and in return you opened up about your terrible parents. About how abusive they were to Harry- how much that hurt you. Draco hadn’t given it a second thought when you revealed you were muggle born. Really Draco didn’t mind, nor did it offend him in the way he acted it did but for his Father Draco must keep up appearances.
He still feels guilty remembering how you recoiled away from him when he had spat the word ‘mudblood’ in your direction. He feels guilty as he remembers the tears trickling down your cheeks. Even that feeling paled in comparison to the way Draco feels now.
Draco remembers the first time you kissed him, and yes much to his embarrassment it was you that kissed him. You always were someone who went after what you wanted. He was in the Hospital wing after Buckbeak attacked him. Despite him being the biggest prat you’d ever met, you still went to see him anyway. You sat next to Draco in the bed, seeing the tears well in his eyes at the revelation Buckbeak would be executed. Sure he was angry the stupid thing attacked him but never would he want Buckbeak killed for it. Draco wasn’t entirely surprised to learn his Father had threatened the committee in order for Buckbeak to be sentenced. It’s not Draco that his Father cared about, it’s the family image. You had cupped his cheeks, and gently pressed your lips to his. It was the only thing you could think to do to soothe him, and it worked. Draco melted against you, his sorrows briefly muted by the feeling of your lips on his own. He thinks he might have fallen in love with you right at that moment.
The first time you went to Hogsmeade with him was the following year, during the winter. Your cheeks were rosy and your hand was as cold as ice around his warmer palm. He remembers you squealing with excitement as it began to snow again, the soft flakes fluttering gently around you. You truly did look like an angel. The snow stuck to your hair as you turned to look at him, “make a snowman with me!” Your voice was lilted, almost melodic as the happiness you felt carried over into your tone. While Draco didn’t normally do silly things like making snowmen, he couldn’t fight the smile that split across his face as he helped you roll the bottom of the snowman. Before that moment, Draco never knew joy like that even existed. It was only later that he discovered that this kind of joy only existed when he was with you.
The first time the words ‘I love you’ graced the space between your lips was when you’d both met at the astronomy tower at midnight. The stars were twinkling beautifully, but even so Draco couldn’t keep his eyes off you. You blushed, refusing to meet his eye. You were always insecure, which baffled Draco immensely. How could you believe any other girl is anywhere close to being as pretty as you? There’s not another woman on the face of this Earth that compares to you, and you would often giggle and tell him to stop when he would begin his long ‘you’re the most beautiful girl’ rant. You had led Draco to believe, that maybe he and Harry could find peace. You were in fact, the only thing they had in common. The words fell right out of his mouth before he could pause to give them any thought. “I love you,” The air seemed to stiffen around him, crushing him as he watched you. You didn’t hesitate.
“I love you Draco.” It was the best moment of his life.
Draco will never forget the first time he was allowed to see the beauty of your bare skin. You’d think it would be easier to find places to be alone in this great big castle, eventually Draco had settled for the edge of the Black Lake- far from the castle. The journey out to the Lake had started innocently, the both of you quite enjoyed star gazing and spending your evenings together. You’d been sitting next to him, watching the large tentacles of the monster that lives in the Lake toss you things from the depths. You really did have a way in bringing out the good in everything, you’d even managed to befriend the monster that lives in the Lake. “Wow look at this,” your voice was quiet with amazement as you turned over a beautiful amulet in your hands. It was simple, silver chain with a white gem that shone as brightly as the moon. The Lake monster had given it to you, and Draco remembers the soft sigh that left your lips as his hands graced the back of your neck, fastening the amulet.
Draco remembers the delicate way you turned to face him, how your eyes never left his as you carefully slid onto his lap. Your hands were placed on his shoulders as your lips met in a slow and languid kiss. The searing heat built between you two and seemed to draw your most intimate parts together. Without realizing, you’d begun to gently grind against Draco- drawing out soft moans from his lips. Never before had Draco felt this kind of desire for another person. His hands slid up your back and carefully removed each layer of clothing that was in between him and your bare skin. Your skin was flushed as Draco’s lips explored your naked body, carefully turning you over so that he would hover above you. You gripped fistfuls of the grass as Draco had found his home in between your legs, laving your sensitive folds with his tongue and mouth. It felt like heaven, and he knew it did. He could see it on your face, and you looked so beautiful.
The desire burning inside you began to beat between your legs like a drum as you pulled Draco back up your body. Nuzzling his nose against yours, Draco slipped the head of his member in between your folds. The thought of hurting you made him feel sick to his stomach, but with a few gentle words of encouragement from you, he was gently working himself inside your tight heat. The feeling was incomparable, indescribable, suffocating, and intoxicating all at the same time. Draco knew that here on the grass, between your legs, was somewhere he wanted to be forever. If he could capture this moment in something more than his minds eye he would, he wants this memory to live forever. He rocked into you again and again, losing himself in the way your body felt against his. Never had Draco felt so connected to another person, you had him, mind body and soul. He was falling into that pit now, no doubt about it, and there was no way out. He was head over heels in love, not that he minded.
Draco would do anything to keep you safe, and he really means that.
Draco had grown distant from you this year, mostly because of the swirling black tattoo on his left forearm. The Dark Mark. He knew in an instant that you had to stay as far from him as humanly possible, and while he tried to stay away, he was weak and kept falling back into your embrace. He needed to convince you to stay away from him, and if he couldn’t...then he had to make you. You’d confronted him this evening, with tears in your eyes and a tremble in your hands. You wanted, needed, to know what was going on. Why he felt so far away from you. So Draco pressed a kiss to your forehead, took your hand, and led you here. To the Astronomy tower, a place where so many monumentous things happened between you. This would be the perfect place to say goodbye.
You staggered back when he lifted his sleeve. The breath was stolen from your lungs when you saw the Dark Mark, writhing and wriggling on his arm. Tears built in your eyes as you looked at him, his name falling past your broken lips. How could this have happened? How could he let this happen? You wanted to scream, to tear your hair out, to cry, to do anything but your body wouldn’t let you. You simply stood frozen before him, feeling as though the most powerful force in the world was tearing the two of you apart. The next words out of his mouth shattered you beyond repair.
“You need to stay away from me, for your own good. And for Harry’s.” It was the first time he’d ever used Harry’s first name, that’s how you knew he really meant this. But you couldn’t, you loved Draco with every ounce of your heart, how could you leave him? You shook your head vehemently, tears now free falling down your cheeks. “I-I can’t.” You gasped, watching a pained expression cross onto Draco’s face. He didn’t want to do this, he really didn’t want to do this but the thought of you getting tortured or killed by Voldemort replays in his mind. He couldn’t put you in danger, not for something so selfish, not because he loves you. It’s because he loves you that he’s willing to let you go, that he’s willing to make this sacrifice if it means keeping you safe.
When he turns to you again, his wand is raised and the look on his face is one you’ve never seen before. His hand is trembling, his eyes look hollow and his mouth is quivering. He looks desperate, he looks distraught, but most of all, he looks broken. “Draco,” You whisper, tears in your eyes as you look up at him, your hand finding the railing behind you. “You have to stay away from me.” Draco gasps, desperately fighting tears.
“Please don’t do this.” Your voice is weak, you know what’s coming next. You’re smart enough to connect the dots.
Draco’s hand wavers, “I have to.” His voice is final, but his body looks as though it’s falling apart. Thoughts of him facing what he must face, without your love, sends panic through your chest. He’ll have to endure the pain, the struggles, all of it, alone. You want to be there for him, you don’t care about the danger. Draco knows you don’t, that’s why he has to do this.
“Baby please, I love you.” You cry desperately, and Draco feels his heart burning to dust in his chest as he looks down at you. “I love you too.” He breathes, closing his eyes and steeling his nerves for what he is going to do next. “Draco!” Your voice comes out as a cry of desperation, and you lurch forward. But Draco is faster.
“Obliviate.” He whispers the word into the open air, watching as you halt, your tearful eyes locked on his. “Draco,” You whisper as a light of blue slips from your head and into the tip of Draco’s wand. Your hands drop to your sides, and your eyes fall flat, looking through him now, seeing him as everyone else does. Your face is empty, expressionless as you watch him. Lowering his wand, Draco slips your memories into the vial as you blink in confusion before sending him a nervous smile. You look around briefly, before reaching over to grab your coat. You brush past Draco without looking at him again, offering a hollow ‘goodnight’ over your shoulder as you go. Draco feels empty, emptier than he ever has. It’s only now that he lets a tear slide down his cheek.
His hands were shaking as he leaned over the railing, the cool wind chilling him. The view laid out before him doesn’t hold any beauty in it anymore, and it feels as though all the color has drained from the world. Grasping the vial tightly in his hand, Draco squeezes his eyes shut before throwing it as hard as he could over the edge of the astronomy tower. He watches with bleary eyes as the vial of your memories, the vial containing your love for him disappears into the Black Lake. This is the right thing to do, but Draco can’t fight how wrong it feels. He knows now that he’ll never be the same, but he turns anyway. Straightens his suit, wipes his tears, and begins the journey back to his common room.

Reminder that I do not support jkr. Do not interact if you do.
It was well known throughout your first years at Hogwarts that you and Sirius did not get along. He honestly annoyed the shit out of you everyday. He came from a rich pureblood family and you were a muggleborn, so anyone could see how the two of you clashed there.
All of the professors were completely done with you and Sirius’s antics. It started off with Sirius somehow managing to turn your hair green during the first flying lesson that the Gryffindors had. “Hey y/n, your hair is amazing! Didn’t think you could pull off the green!” a peer had spoken to you just before mounting your broom.
Sirius broke out into a nearly uncontrollable laughter and got a detention for it. But of course, none of that stopped you from getting back at him. Even just the simplest of pranks had gotten the job done.
There was one prank at the start of second year that earned you and Sirius a month’s worth of detention with Slughorn. He basically had the two of you as his personal assistants. It was honestly torture. But there were moments when he would step away from his classroom to talk to another professor, or slip away into his office to plan the next day’s lesson, and it would leave you and Sirius alone.
The two of you gave in and finally had a conversation with each other. It wasn’t much and it was very awkward, but seeing as this was your first day out of a month’s long sentence of detention, someone to talk with didn’t sound too bad.
And that was what blossomed a very chaotic friendship between the two of you. Having to suffer together was what drew the connection. You two eventually planned your own little pranks against other people.
Despite everything in your younger years of being at Hogwarts, Sirius was your closest friend. You could maybe go as far as to call him your best friend, but you’d never say that to his face, it’d add to his already huge ego.
You ate nearly every meal with him. You’d practically drag him into the library to study. He mentioned something about doing well in school for his parents, so that’s what you’d help him with.
Though the two of you quickly learned that it’s very hard to focus in each other’s presence.
You taught him how to braid hair. He practiced using yours. “Would you stay still, y/n?”
“I’m trying! You’re the one yanking me back and forth, Sirius.”
From that point after, you’d sit in between his legs on the floor as he sat on the couch.
He got you sucked into quidditch and nearly got you to try out for the team. “I think it’d be fun having you on the team!”
“I think that’s your way of saying you want to spend more time with me.”
“Of course,” SIrius shook his head no.
One day he saw someone in the hall walk by with eyeliner and he demanded that the two of you try putting it on yourselves.
This ultimately got you in trouble for staying up way too late, laughing at how silly you both looked in the prefect bathrooms. Lily would allow you in saying “This is going to get my badge taken from me, I swear.”
You two eventually got back to studying after Sirius received some notes from his parents.
You caught on quickly that he didn’t have the best relationship regarding his family.
It was actually a little difficult being friends with Sirius at first. It was very hard for him to just be vulnerable and talk, but by fourth year, you understood where he came from and didn’t push for anything. You listened to him the very few times when he would make small little notes of his family, or talked about his brother while passing him in the hall.
Your conversations were more so filled with random things that only really made sense to the two of you. Any outsider would’ve thought you two were completely crazy.
By fifth year, you were looking at Sirius in a whole different light and you hated it. You wanted to be way more than friends and didn’t know what to do with yourself. You started to avoid him. This was the worst and best decision ever. It’s still debatable.
While the rest of your friends were taking a little day to Hogsmeade, and while you were still on a streak of pretty much avoiding Sirius, you slipped off from the courtyard, taking a less used corridor towards the library.
Here, you found Sirius with his shoulders shaking, head in his hands, and your heart shattered. If you were feeling this, you couldn’t even begin to imagine what he must feel like. He didn’t pay any mind to his surroundings until you slid down the wall next to him, placing your hand on his shoulder.
He didn’t even have to look to know that it was you. He leaned into your shoulder while you brought your arm around him, quiet sobs escaping from his body.
He always kept parts of him, especially these emotions so closed off, that it honestly was a little surprising to see him like this. “Sere, tell me what’s wrong,” you whispered.
“I- um, it’s nothing. I just got a letter from home and it’s-” he broke down again.
At this point you let your legs stretch in front of you. He was still under your arms until he just let himself go. He let himself feel. And relax. And he understood that it’s okay to cry. And be vulnerable. And that you were safe to talk to about anything. He hugged you full on. He clung on tight as he cried. And man, you were fucked. This wasn’t helping any sort of feelings you were trying to suppress by being here in his presence. It honestly nearly broke you. You wanted to cry for him. Scream for him. Go off on his parents for him. You wanted to protect him from all that could ever hurt him this way.
He talked about everything that has happened up until the letter and stammered off his explanation with one final point. “A-and I’ve missed spending time with you. It’s like you’ve been avoiding me,” he mumbled into the thick air. He was laying down against you with your fingers in his hair. “It’s like I- I’m missing a part of me. Like we’re so close I couldn’t possibly imagine my life without you.”
You stumbled over your words, trying to find out what to say. ‘If only he knew’ you wanted to groan out into the air. “I’m sorry,” was all you could say, tears stinging your eyes while you blinked them back, hugging him tightly.
From that moment, the two of you had bought bracelets at Hogsmeade and spelled them to change a certain color for when the other wanted to talk, or simply just needed to be with the other. They were simple fabric ones, something you both liked and wore everyday.
Most of the time Sirius came to talk to you about his parents. Which was new considering he was a little closed off before.
You were there if he needed to cry. You would hold him if he needed a hug. You would laugh with him when he didn’t want to be the only one. You were there for him for everything.
There was one night that was really bad. His parents basically sent a letter saying not to come home in the future. You were supposed to meet him in the library yet he wasn’t there.
After asking around, you found him in the Gryffindor common room when it was far too late for you to even be out. His face was tear stained and his eyes were an irritated pink. Though he didn’t seek you in the first place, he didn’t hesitate to wrap his arms around you, burying himself in your comfort.
By sixth year it was supposedly “Painfully obvious you two were basically in love with each other” Remus would say every time you gave up a library visit to be with Sirius. Or James would very blatantly leave you both to carry out specific parts of a prank together. Lily would just leave you and Sirius alone together whenever she got the chance, really.
One particular Gryffindor win for Sirius was crashed by some Slytherins who came without any good intentions. It was soon discovered that there was veritaserum in the drinks that, of course, you and your friends had already enjoyed.
All of this prompted you to leave the party. You left with a big group of people, Remus, James, Peter, Lily, Mary, Marlene, all off to the grounds, trying to avoid any trouble. You stayed back with Remus and Sirius while the rest walked ahead, talking about the most random of things, like how Remus wants to ride a unicorn. He eventually sped up with the rest of the group, claiming he was going to ride a unicorn, properly drunk. “Mhm, yeah. You go have fun with that Remus,” Sirius called to him as he stumbled ahead.
You and Sirius couldn’t go as far as to say you were drunk, but definitely tispy. You walked over to a small tree and sat yourself under it, laying back against it. Sirius did the same thing except he leaned his head on your shoulder and you leaned yours on top of his. It was a sweet moment as he mindlessly played with a thread hanging from your robes.
The veritaserum didn’t bother the two of you much, you were honest with each other most of the time anyways. Well, it didn’t bother you much until Regulus and a few of his friends stood over you, making fun of how close you and Sirius were. You kept your mouths shut for as long as you could. “What it’s not like you like each other. Do you, Sirius?” Regulus pushed.
“I actually like y/n a lot. She’s always there for me and—” Sirius slapped his hand over his mouth, eyes wide.
“Hmm, and I don't suppose you feel the same way, y/n?”“
“I have feelings for Sirius,” you blurted out right as Regulus and his friends walked away.
Sirius looked over to you, smiling like an idiot. You leaned your head back against the tree, covering your face with your hands just before he pulled them away. He squeezed them in a comforting manner and asked why you hadn’t said anything before. “Because you’re such a great person, like you deserve the world and I don’t think I’d be enough a-and I hate that people keep asking questions because I’m on this stupid veritaserum that’s making me look like an idiot
He cut you off with a kiss, effectively shutting you up. The kiss was rushed at first before turning into something exploding with passion that you didn’t even know you needed until now.
“Well, you’re a beautiful idiot. Because, as said before,” he mumbled the last part, returning to his normal tone of voice. “I like you too. A-and I guess that you could tell me that I’m an idiot because—”
“Why didn’t you tell me you liked me, Sirius?”
“My entire life is a mess and I have too many problems and you’re always there for me to begin with, I’d take up too much of your time if we actually ended up dating. And you’re perfect and I look like absolute shit all the time. Just as you said you deserve the world but as I’m saying all this, I’m starting to think,” he trailed off searching your eyes for words. “I'm starting to think that we deserve each other,” he finished in a soft voice.
“I think we deserve each other too,” you grabbed his face gently, kissing him.
That night is now the day you and Sirius started dating, one of the most memorable days of your lives.
You never left breakfast in the Great Hall without stealing a kiss.
Or a piece of bacon from his plate.
There’d be some nights where you could sneak away and fall asleep with him peacefully and everything seemed alright.

Bobby’s Play Date Part 1
Tumblr media
The pandemic is keeping Tom idling in London by himself. One positive is that wearing the mask helps him avoid recognition, allowing him to wander in the park with his dog, Bobby. On one of their walks, Bobby becomes smitten with a dog named Lulu and Tom is equally enchanted by her human. Can the Hiddleston men manage to find a way to see the lovely ladies again?

It was months into the pandemic that had ground the world to a halt. Tom desperately hoped things would go back to normal soon, and that a vaccine would be found to help more people from getting sick and dying. There were, of course, many changes to the world at the moment that Tom was not pleased with. Being unable to work, for instance, or travel to visit his sisters was both frustrating and depressing. One change, however, he had to admit he was not completely adverse to.
Tom loved his fans. They were usually polite, often intelligent, and had donated millions in his name to charities. He often said that he couldn’t consider himself an actor without an audience, and he meant it. It was just that there were times when he wanted to enjoy a little anonymity. Particularly when health advisories suggested a six foot distance between people, Tom was relieved to be able to slip on a plain black mask along with his baseball cap and sunglasses and blend in with the other people wandering about on errands.
He was enjoying just such a stroll now despite the warmth, grateful for the ability to hide in plain sight. Bobby frisked happily on his lead, chasing after imaginary prey as they ambled aimlessly down the winding path. It was a lovely, sunny day, but fear was keeping many people at home and they had the park largely to themselves.
When they reached a bend, Bobby began barking excitedly and pulled Tom along, his human chuckling as he was dragged by his furry companion. The reason for Bobber’s excitement soon became apparent. Sitting on a bench placed beside a scenic little river was a woman in a flowered mask, holding the lead of a small, gold and white shih tzu dog in a ridiculous pink and white checked dress.
Tom had to take a firm hold as Bobby frantically tried to go over and meet the smaller dog, who had begun barking herself as they rounded the bend. Her fluffy head, complete with bow to keep the hair from her eyes, perked up, and she began jumping up and down in a little dance. Bobby calmed down a bit as he felt Tom’s pressure on his lead, but his tongue still lolled out of his mouth in a dopey smile.
“Steady,” Tom commanded, feeling embarrassed as Bobby continued to hover as close as allowed to the silly looking strange dog. “I’m sorry, I promise he is completely friendly.”
“It’s okay, so is she,” the woman replied, smiling with her eyes even though he could not see her mouth behind her mask. “You know, she’s usually quite shy, but she seems to like him! May I pet him?”
“Please, and thanks for asking.”
Letting the lead out a bit, Tom watched as the woman reached down to give Bobby a good pet, complimenting him on being a handsome boy. Her fluff of a pup had advanced timidly, and she and Bobby commenced sniffing and circling each other with obvious enjoyment.
“Wow, I have never seen her respond like that to a strange dog!” the woman laughed.
As she spoke, Bobby rolled onto his back and waved his paws in the air with a complete lack of dignity.
“Safe to say he is rather taken as well,” Tom chuckled. “Absolutely shameless! Mind if I have a seat? It seems a shame to deprive them.”
He gestured to the bench next to hers, wanting to keep a safe distance and indicate he respected her space, and the woman nodded. She was dressed much more simply than her dog, he noticed. Black leggings and long rose colored tee shirt, a pair of keds. Apparently, she got all of her whimsy out on her pup.
“What’s his name?” she asked, watching as the dogs frolicked with each other.
“Bobby,” he supplied. “I’m Tom.”
“I’m Leia, and that ridiculous creature is Lulu.”
“Like the princess?” he couldn’t help but ask with a chuckle.
“General,” she answered without missing a beat. “It’s what happens when you are born during the release of a cultural phenomenon. Pity all of the little girls out there now being named Daenerys or Gamora.”
Tom held his breath for a moment. If she was a Marvel fan, then did he have to worry about her recognizing him? Fortunately, she seemed more interested in the game of tag their companions were playing, and he let himself relax.
“There’s a dog run about half a mile from here,” he suggested after a few minutes of companionable silence. “It’s actually where we were headed.”
“I know, but Lulu is so skittish,” Leia sighed. “She just huddles in a little ball when the bigger dogs come near her.”
“She seems fine with Bobbers.”
“I know! Your adorable boy is some sort of sorcerer! It makes me so happy to see her playing with another dog!”
“I have to ask…”
“The dress?” she guessed; voice wry.
“Yeah.”
“She’s a rescue. When I got her, she was a pathetic, bedraggled little thing that had been there for ages. It was winter, and the first times I took her out I had to put a coat on her. After that, she started equating dressing with going out, and would get so excited every time I took a coat or sweater out for her. When the weather warmed up, I realized that I missed the way she would jump up and literally throw herself into whatever I had picked out for her to wear. It’s completely silly, I know, but it makes her happy, and she just looks so cute!”
Tom’s heart melted a little as he listened to her explain. Yes, the dog looked silly, but it was such a sweet reason that suddenly the little dress transformed into a symbol of kindness rather than an eccentricity.
“She does look adorable,” he said.
A beeping noise had him drawing his phone from his pocked, and he was surprised at the time. He had to get back home soon for a virtual session with his trainer. Oddly, he found himself reluctant to go. It had been so long since he had just spent time with another person, it had felt good just to sit in her presence and relax.
“I’m afraid I have to get going. But Bobby and I usually walk this way around lunch time,” he blurted out, lying through his teeth. “Hopefully we will run into you lovely ladies again. So that the dogs can play.”
He was more grateful for the mask than ever, as it hopefully hid the blush he could feel coloring his face. Once more her vivid eyes sparkled and she stood up too, twisting around with him as they attempted to untangle the leashes.
“I’m sure Lulu would love that!” she told him, picking up the golden dog as she whined and tried to follow after her new friend. “We’ll see you around, Tom. Bobby.”
With a jaunty step he let his long legs take him away, looking forward to tomorrow already.
It rained the next two days. Not just a soft drizzle but am early summer storm that made the idea of a pleasant walk a fantasy. Tom and Bobby both resented the weather, and it was a toss up which of them was more disagreeable as they were forced to stay indoors.
When the sun shone on the third day, Tom immediately cancelled all of his afternoon plans. He had waited patiently, he told himself, he was not going to let this day go to waste. It was for Bobby’s sake, after all. The pup deserved a nice day out after being shut up inside.
They left home mid-morning, Tom unable to sit still any longer. He couldn’t say why exactly he was so keen on meeting Leia and her silly dog again, but he had been able to think of nothing else during his enforced isolation. Perhaps it was simply the novelty of meeting someone new who didn’t instantly faun over him or act nervous and shy. She treated him as though he were just an ordinary guy walking his dog in the park; which of course was what he was!
He arrived at the benches where they had met earlier that week, but they were empty. It was still early, so they made a circuit of the nearby trails. His eyes always alert for their new friends. They passed a few other people walking their pets, but both Tom and Bobby were uninterested beyond a nod hello and brief sniff. The Hiddleston men were both to focused on finding particular companions.
It was, as it had been before, Bobby who first discovered their presence. As they were walking through a more secluded, twisting section of the park, the dog’s ears pricked up and he began barking in excitement. Tail wagging frantically, Bobby yanked on the lead and pulled Tom along behind him as he took off around a curve. A high pitched yip sounded from the direction he headed.
“Well hello there!” Leia greeted him, leaning down to scratch Bobby’s head as he and Lulu danced around each other. “We were hoping to run into you boys again!”
“Eh heh heh,” Tom laughed, dancing around to keep his leash from entangling too badly with hers. “Obviously Bobby here was looking forward to that as well! As was I.”
“Well then, I am so happy you found us.”
He felt absurdly pleased as they fell into step beside each other. The two dogs were happy to walk along, darting back and forth in play as they went.
“Were you going anywhere in particular?” Leia asked casually.
“Oh, just wandering about,” Tom answered, not wanting to admit that they had been on a mission to hunt down the ladies.
“Well then, we can wander together.”
As the dogs played, Tom and Leia chatted happily. He learned that she was an aspiring writer working on edits to her first novel, and a tour guide, specializing in guiding small groups around literary sights in London as a way to earn money.
“Of course, it’s hard to be a tour guide with no tourists,” she sighed. “You would think it would give me more time to write, but its hard to focus. Anyway, I talk too much. What about you?”
“Oh, I’m on furlough,” he shrugged, staying vague. “Just loafing about the house, annoying Bobby. So what is your novel about?”
He managed to direct the conversation back to her, even though she avoided the subject of her book. Instead, she brought up some of the more interesting places she had brought tourists. Tom, a proud Londoner, had been to many of them, and they happily discussed the more interesting locations. She seemed impressed that he had read books by most of the authors they discussed and was quite ready with a line or two from memory. In turn, Tom loved how expressive she became when describing the joy people experienced finding themselves walking in the footsteps of their favorite fictional characters.
By the time Leia announced that she and Lulu needed to head home, (Tom thought he detected regret in her voice) he was surprised to realize that they had been talking for almost two hours. It was the most pleasant afternoon he had passed in some time.
After that, Tom and Bobby spent every afternoon in the park. At first, they managed to “stumble” upon their companions most days. The days they did not were frustrating for both of them and usually ended with them barking at each other. After a few run-ins with Leia and Lulu however, Tom took the plunge and asked if they would like to make their daily meetups official. Leia seemed pleased, but with the caveat that some days she did need to stay home and write when she was struck by the rare inspiration. Tom deflated momentarily, thinking she was looking for an out, until she offered to text him an let him know if they would be absent. He happily gave her his cell phone number and took hers in return, letting her know that she should feel free to text anytime and then feeling like an idiot the minute the words left his mouth.
Over the next two weeks they met all but three days – two because of her writing and one when the skies once more conspired to thwart him. Their conversations ranged from literature to films to favorite places to travel. Leia sometimes teased him about his obvious upper class life style, jetting about to Viet Nam, Hawaii, Australia… but that was the closest his celebrity status ever came to being brought up. He would occasionally feel a stab of guilt over keeping that part of himself from her, it felt dishonest to lie by omission, but he was enjoying being just Tom, and didn’t want to spoil it.
Tom started taking more care in his appearance as the days went on. Gone were the torn running shorts and frayed t-shirts, and in their place were his slim fitting dark jeans and more presentable tops. If those tops also stretched a bit tight across his chest to better show off his muscles, well, he had worked hard enough to achieve them! He made some attempt to style his untamable locks as well, experimenting with different products until he found something that made the curls less crunchy. If he was remembering Leia’s off hand comment about how she liked his natural curls no one else needed to know that.
On the one month anniversary of meeting them in the park, Tom paced nervously back and forth near their favorite bench as he waited for them to arrive. He had a proposition for Leia and hoped desperately that she would say yes. When Bobby started frisking about he knew that he would see her walking Lulu, and spun around to see her come towards them.
“Sorry I’m late!” she smiled with her eyes. “This one managed to hide my house keys, and it took half an hour to track them down to her stash under the sofa.”
Lulu looked unrepentant as she pranced around Bobby, and Tom chuckled good naturedly. He gestured to the bench and sat after Leia, leaning back and stretching out his legs.
“No worries, honestly,” he assured her. “I am just delighted you are here now.”
“You are the perfect gentleman.”
“All lies, I assure you,” he waited for a moment, wanting to sound casual, and then launched into it unable to delay any longer. “I was wondering… The park is lovely, of course, but I thought it might be nice – for Lulu and Bobby – if they had a bit more freedom to run about. Lulu being afraid of the dog run, she has no opportunity to be off leash, and that can’t be too fun for our furry companions.”
“They seem to be having a good time to me,” Leia laughed, looking at where the dogs were investigating a small pile of leaves by the side of the trail. “But what did you have in mind?”
“Well, you see, our house has an enclosed back yard. Not huge, mind you, but large enough they would be able to chase to their hearts content without fearing larger beasts. I thought that perhaps you and Lulu might want to come over this Friday evening for dinner. There’s a testing sight not far from here. We could each get swabbed to make sure we are uncontagious. My bubble is only my Mum and Bobbers, and from what you’ve told me yours isn’t much bigger. It should be reasonably safe for you to come. I could make us dinner, and we could eat outside. If you would be comfortable with it, that is.”
He tried to look calm, but inside Tom was a riot of nerves as he waited for her answer. Leia’s brow crinkled in thought, and she glanced again to where the dogs were once more hopping back  and forth across the path.
“I can’t do Friday,” she told him, and his heart fell.
“Oh, alright then. It was just an idea.”
“Friday is my virtual book club,” she went on, talking over him. “Would Saturday work?”
“Saturday would be perfect!” he beamed.
“Great! I’ll go to the clinic for a test tomorrow then. Would you like me to bring anything?”
“Just Lulu and a healthy appetite.”
“Excellent! Now what do you say we walk over to the little waterfall?”
Tom practically floated through the rest of their walk. He had enjoyed getting to know her so much, but he wanted to spend more than an hour or two at a time with her. Dinner would give them a chance to really relax. Plus, he was dying to see her mouth. After a month of imagining her smile he wanted to know if what he had in his mind was anywhere close to reality. She would see his full face too, but if she hadn’t recognized him by now it was doubtful she would from the lower half of his face.
His confidence dipped a bit when they returned home. Looking around, Tom began to panic. Between photos of him in his full Loki regalia to a group picture with the cast of Skull island, there were far too many give aways of his fame. She might not recognize him, but you would have to like on another planet not to know who Sam Jackson was!
Tom spent the next few days rearranging his home. His awards, normally discreetly placed in a cabinet in his living room on the insistence of his mother, were moved to a back shelf in his office closet. The set photos from a decade plus of filming were shoved under his bed and various pieces of memorabilia were secreted away in the spare bedroom. By the time he was done his guilt had increased but he was fairly confident that all trace of his career had been tucked away safely.
“Well, Bobbers, let’s hope we don’t blow this,” he sighed, adjusting the bandana he had bought to go around the dog’s neck. Bobby whined slightly and Tom grinned. “None of that, you want to look good for your date. She has a fondness for clothing, after all.”
Bobby gave him a look that said he clearly knew Lulu was not the one Tom was trying to impress with his new fashion statement, but Tom cheerfully ignored it. Tonight was going to be a wonderful night.

hey it’s kiwi anon! i’ve been melting at the thought of musician kazuha lately so i just knew i had to let it out somehow. ^^;;
*before reading, i’d like to note that this is somewhat of a modern au where the reader and kazuha attend a prestigious music school known for raising successful musicians. only the best of the best are accepted, so it’s certainly a privilege to be there! (though, of course, it has its downsides but we’ll get to that later..)
and i wrote it in second person (gn!) this time!! >:)
(tbh i’m not particularly proud of this one but i really hope you guys like it anyway. ><)
“The stray melody:
its echo reverberates
such sad solitude.”
“Only at the right time shall the day come when I may ride the infallible winds of freedom to the place where creativity bears no bounds.”
“You are bound?” “How so?” You questioned.
After a long awaited interlude, you were finally face to face with the (formerly) faceless musician.
About a month ago, you were assigned a new practice room. Although most students would view this as a blessing from the archons, you found yourself in an unfavorable situation. Suddenly being thrown into playing in a new environment made you uneasy, and though your stance on this was unwavering, there was no disobeying the school.
But the first time the sound of violin seeped through the walls and filled your room with its charming tune, you were bewitched. For some strange reason, it was comforting to know that someone else was on the other side of the wall. Occasionally, you would pause practice abruptly only to listen to the chords, losing yourself in thought with the way they blended together in the most musical way possible; but before you could notice, an hour or two has passed and you’ve barely done much of anything.
Maybe this was a curse, but you surely weren’t one to complain about it.
One day, with no warning, it seemed the violinist began to play along with you. It never occurred to you that they could also listen through the wall, so it came as a complete surprise. It became a chivalric battle of wits; melodies fighting for dominance but only ever resulting in a satisfying draw. You couldn’t help but imagine their fingers dancing along the stringed instrument as your own strutted along the keys of the piano. And the way you two subconsciously created a heavenly harmony was enough to spark your interest and unhinged curiosity. Who are you?
But before you could ask, a faint voice spoke, “My dorm is located on the top floor near the gardens. I… do not expect you to meet me, but this could be considered as a statement or an invitation, however you perceive it.” That is what he said that day. God, even his voice was musical.
You, too, had no intention of meeting him directly. The thought of the school suspending the two of you for doing the bare minimum brought you back into your shell. You had limits, and there was nothing getting between you and your music career.
But that didn’t mean you weren’t willing to give some small effort into discovering the truth. Into the late hours of the evening, you took a casual stroll around the school’s gardens. Fortunately, you were alone. The silence was pleasant, but it didn’t last for long. As the familiar sound reached your perked ears, you searched around for the source of the noise. And there he was, standing on his patio with his long, bright hair tied back as the evening winds stroked each strand in its clutches— a violin held in his hand.
Everything about him was musical— even the way he pressed his delicate yet calloused fingers along the strings of the violin's neck. It didn’t take long for you to catch interest in the ruby-eyed violinist.
There was no explaining the way you two locked eyes for the first time. Though joyous, it seemed you both were lost— since when had you cared so much for someone you’d never met?
As it turned out, your dorms happened to be in close proximity with each other. It became routine for you to lean expectantly against the edge of your patio and for the violinist to leave his doors open so you could listen to his music as the sun would find its slumber, resting upon the horizon.
It didn’t take long for you to grow rather greedy. You longed to learn more about him, but everything about him was shrouded in an empty veil of unanswered questions and an identity you failed to identify.
Luckily, fate has its ways.
Curiosity led you to find yourself exploring into the deeper, abandoned depths of the school’s halls. You entered into a seemingly empty music room before shortly realizing you weren’t alone. The feeling of eyes staring daggers at your back made you prickle with fear until you turned to realize that such eyes belonged to the skilled violinist himself.
“Comedic coincidence always has its ways,” he remarked, the corners of his lips lifting into a gentle grin.
His face was always melded into the shape of endless pondering. He had a relaxed nature that was simply unchanging. And though he often appears to be a simple man at first glance, Kaedehara Kazuha was anything but simple.
It surprised you to see a vulnerable side of him, because you never expected him to have one. First impressions were surely deceiving.
He crouched over, his hand supporting his head in a lazy manner.
“I sense that I am suffering from a lack of passion— the kind that children may experience as they wrap their fingers around a bow for the first time,” a stray shadow came across him as he breathily sighed, “The walls of this school are suffocating, but I, like many others, can endure this drowning feeling.”
Kazuha often spoke in a unique manner— resembling a loud whisper.
“So, I wasn’t the only one who noticed,” you noted, “I’d hate to admit it, but this school is a living nightmare.”
Kazuha’s eyebrows furrowed and his eyes narrowed ever so slightly.
“And neither of us can wake from it.”
Momentarily, he shifted his position so he sat closer to you. His shoulder shrugged as his arm straightened and his hand held onto the edge of the seat to support himself, his handsome head hung idly backwards.
“But, I feel like I have a reason to keep going, but as of now it lingers in my head as an enigma of sorts. Perhaps it is odd to find myself blindly following passion without reason, but I have a feeling that perhaps,” he paused, his fingers traced along the seat and his pinkie linked delicately with yours, “you have a role to play in this.”
Your face burned slightly at the sudden display of physical touch.
His speech was vague. You naively wanted to question his use of words (and actions), but it didn’t seem timely. Until, next time.
You beamed slightly, “Perhaps so.”
Kazuha’s pinkie finger squeezed against yours before letting go. He stood up with his eyes still burning into your own.
“It appears I have surpassed my original practice time,” his eyes shifted towards the door, “We must take our leave before someone discovers that we are here.”
With his back facing you, Kazuha wrapped his hand around the door knob, but before he could turn it, he turned his head to look at you once more, flashing that signature smile of his.
“If you don’t mind me asking, would you like to be my accompanist for the upcoming concert?”
To you, Kazuha was like a hatchling, growing each day and itching to spread his wings and fly to places that are unheard of. He worked constantly, trying to rewrite the textbook definition of music into something more meaningful. He was ambitious, highly so; but you adored that about him.
It is silly, but you began to think that perhaps one day, you could be the one who frees him from the school’s heavy shackles.

Tumblr media
Izuku Midoriya, he loves very hard. Like very very hard. Izuku is pretty much an open book, he’s so easy to read. His big jade eyes are the windows to his heart.
Izuku is very insecure. He has this strong urge to prove himself. He takes every little word to his heart. He hated himself. He was just a little, quirkless and useless boy who dreamed big.
Izuku has this weird complex that lives in with him. He needs validation every second.
He needs constant affection. He longs for someone to love him for him.
His childhood memories still haunt him. He still remembers how kacchan degraded him.
He still remembers waiting to finally discover his quirk so he could be all great and mighty like his idol, All might.
Izuku is very passionate, that’s for sure. Because how many people told him that he couldn’t become a hero. He never gave up because he had that one person.
And that person was you.
His only best friend. Even though he considered katsuki as his best friend, maybe he did not.
You were his biggest source of motivation.
Even when his mother did not believe in him, you did. When he came to you crying, you comforted him. You always taught him to believe in himself.
Oh how much he loved you.
His childhood love. Wait no. His only love. You were his everything. You were his angel. You were his bliss. You were his biggest blessing. You were literally his heartbeat.
If izuku didn’t see you, he’d go absolutely crazy. You were his purpose.
Your pretty laugh serenades him. You make his heart race.
And it wasn’t just a small crush.
No, it was way more than love. It was an obsession.
It quickly transitioned from a silly teen crush to a deep sick obsession.
How? Well, those ten months of his training with all might, without you.
It was such a task for All Might to make the lovesick boy understand that you couldn’t come to the training sessions. You were a distraction for him.
Everyone including All might could see his obsession with you.
It was clear to everyone that Deku saw you as his everything, his love.
But you only saw him as a best friend and nothing more.
And that was dangerous.
Tumblr media
Izuku’s jealousy is very dangerous. You always knew. He was possessive, but in an endearing way, but now he was toxic.
“What the fuck is your problem, Deku? I-I know I hurt you but I’m sorry I couldn’t come because my mom wasn’t well.” You apologised but he wasn’t willing to listen.
“How dare that fucker try to talk to you? You are mine!” He screams like a madman in your face. His green curly locks falling on his face.
Hiding his crazed eyes.
Your eyes widened at his voice. “What are you talking about Deku? He just helped me with taking my mother to the hospital.” When he didn’t reply you continued. “My brother is just twelve, izu, and you came back today. After ten fucking months. Who was supposed to help me?”
He didn’t reply. “It’s okay, izu. I get it. We’re so different now. You’re so different now.” You spoke in a calm tone. His heartbeat was loud.
But yet, he kept quiet
“I-It has been really hard for me. And I don’t have the energy to deal with this anymore, Izuku. I’m sorry..” you looked down at the grass.
Izuku raises his head up at your tone. “W-What do you mean.. Y-Y/N?” His voice raised as he grabbed your jaw to look at your face.
“I-I think it’s time, izu. That we part ways.” You told him, pain lacing your tone. You didn’t want to do this. But this was necessary.
You should’ve done this a long time ago.
“Goodbye izu. I hope you have a nice life ahead.” You didn’t look at him. Because that would be too hard.
As you turned to leave a strong hand gripped your wrist and pulled you into his chest.
“N-No you c-can’t leave me!” He cried as he pinned you the nearest tree. “Y-You can’t leave me!” He screamed, his voice getting hoarse. “N-No!” He shaked his head repeatedly.
“I-Izuku! Leave me please!” You stuttered out of fear. He was so different. It was like you didn’t know him anymore.
He was far from that sweet cute but you used to know, now he was a strong, scary and obsessive young man.
Izuku left at seventeen, but he came back looking like twenty five. You knew All Might’s quirk was strong. But this strong? You couldn’t even imagine.
“Y-You belong with me. Y-You a-are mine. I-I can’t lose you. I-I can’t live without you! Please Y-Y/N! Please! I-I love you! I love you so much that it hurts so fucking much! Please don’t leave me.” He confessed, his tone getting lower and lower with every word.
And then it hit you when he buried his head in your neck. His lips touching the sensitive spot.
“W-What are you saying? W-What are you doing Izuku?!!” You tried to pry him off you.
But it was useless. He was too strong now. And your quirk didn’t help you at all.
You never hated this as much as now.
“Izuku! P-Please stop this! I-I don’t want this! Let me go! You can’t d-do this to me.”
“Fuck you smell so devine, I-I can’t help it, ah fuck.” He moaned in your neck as he sniffed you like an animal.
“N-No!” You tried to stop him from going any further.
Your eyes widened as he pressed himself closer to you. You felt him, he was always bad at controlling himself.
“P-Please izuku. I-I beg you.” You cried, tears fell on your cheeks.
“Shhh… don’t cry, my love. Don’t cry. I love you so much. I love you so fucking much, finally now I can have you all to myself. It was all worth it. I love you. I love you so much.”
He repeated like a psycho. He was overwhelming you. How could he love you? More than friends? No one was here. This was always your hanging spot.
“No I-I don’t love you please understand!” You tried to knock some sense into him.
He raised his head up and looked at you with his big red eyes. He was crying?
“W-What do you mean Y-Y/N? You love me. You love me. Tell me you love me! Y-You love me so much. You do. Tell me you love me!” He demanded punching the tree near your head.
He wanted to break you. He had gone crazy.
The crash of his lips on yours snapped you back to reality.
Tumblr media
Life with the pro hero was pure hell. Years passed. But no one could find you. It was like you never existed.
Izuku was as obsessed as before. If anything, he grew even more crazy as time passed.
It had been three years. You were now pregnant. With his child. He was always glued on you. He never left your side.
He had turned into a fucking beast. His friends knew about you. Katsuki tried to make him understand.
But izuku had the taste of love and he was addicted. He couldn’t be helped anymore, and nor could you.
“I love you so much Y/N you finally belong to me. All mine. Now you can’t leave. Our child has bonded you to me forever.” He laughed.
“Forever you belong to me,”

Only Time Makes It Human
Hi, hello I was so excited to write this story you don't understand! I hope you all like it, I'm open to suggestions for part two or even part three hehe, I just like this concept a lot, lol i even made a Spotify playlist to listen to while writing. And I dont do that very often.
Pairing: Levi/ Reader
Summary: he shouldn't have let Hange drag him to that frat party with Petra as his date, not when she knew you'd be there with someone else.
Tags: college au!, Angst, eventual fluff, slightly nsfw
Warnings: mentions of smoking, cheating, drinking and of you squint hard enough there's some nsfw, literally it's a frat party, you know how college students are
Disclaimer: drink responsibility if you are of drinking age, don't smoke, absolutely don't drive while being drunk, also I don't own the characters, but you already know that.
Tumblr media
The deafening sound of pop music abused Levi's ears to the point his head was pulsing. His drink, a ratty cheep lager that was disturbingly common in such parties, stood in a red plastic cup in his hand, not even halfway drank. It was the watery taste he despised; when he wasn't much of an alcohol drinker, he was adamant about bitter tastes in beverages, a preference he hadn't managed to fight in his whole life time.
He shot an ominous glance at Hange and Petra. Stood right in front him, swaying their hips and smiling at each other as they shipped from their makeshift cocktails, they were more than surprised whatever they had dumped on their cups was consumable.
Petra in particular, beamed everytime she looked his way, auburn locks of her grazing the sides of her kind face as she swayed closer to him. The way his eyes never landed on her until it was necessary guilted him more than he wanted to admit. Mainly because Hange had set them up, and also because he shouldn't have been frying his brain with thoughts of someone else when he was with her.
But sometimes he couldn't help himself.
In an attempt to shut his brain down from making generously misery thoughts, he locked his hand around Petra's waist, sipping ever so slightly off his beer in the meantime. He didn't miss the way she lowered her head to smile, the sheer maroon tint on her cheeks. She fidgeted her fingers around her drink, shooting happy stares to Hange, Erwin and Mike as she went to rest get head on Levis shoulder.
Hange softly smiled back, curling her lips on an upward curve then brushing of three long to stare at the couple with ogling eyes. She focused on the conversation Mike and Erwin were having, as if it was something important enough to get lost into.
"I'm just wondering where Nanaba is, she said I'd find her here." Mike spoke with a puzzled voice, bobbing his head around to scout for the familiar blotch of short blonde hair that acostumed the face of his long term lover.
"Ah, she's with (y/n), silly. They're probably somewhere around if you want to say hi." Hange beamed.
Levi's eyes went wide and his hands numb at the sound of your name; he couldn't believe the plastic cup hadn't slipped off his palm. It had been so long since Hange had mentioned you so casually in a shared conversation, at least before him that is. It was more than natural to assume his friends hadn't cut ties with you, in contrast to his previous belief.
It was unlikely they were working against him on this situation, but his mind couldn't stop from running in possible imageries between them and you. Were they going to that cafe near campus with you when he denied their invitation? Did they spent some nights at your new place, drinking and driving you on watching horror parodies, when you despised it?
He shook his head trying to brush bubbling thoughts of you away from his mind. With a quick look at Petra, he decided to gulp down the warmed up lager, in hopes of finding relief in a stronger refill.
He despised the way beer didn't spritz on his tongue in it's warm state, but he refused to cringe at the aftertaste. Meanwhile, on his left, Petra enthusiastically bobbed her weight between her legs at the sound of another well known song. He didn't bother to comply to her moves, his eyes averted bitterly to the emptiness of his cup, yet he couldn't eagerly decide to step out of the comfort of his position.
Strolling around meant that he could come across you and he wasn't sure whether he wanted that or not.
Yet, Hange was adamant about dragging him, through the crowd to the kitchen counter, seeing his need for a refill as an excuse to get a new drink to mix to her cocktail.
Familiar faces fleet the kitchen, strolling around with numerous cups in their hands, heading to all directions. Levi pinched his nose in annoyance; the stench of sweat and smoke numbed his nostrils making him snicker, disgust masking the look on his face.
Setting his goal as to find a closed bottle of whiskey, his hands managed to work fast to their task. Upon discovering a single bottle that was still intact he twist the cap open, skillfully bringing the rim of his cap underneath the bottle's opening. Copper liquid poured in gushes in the red plastic, filling it to its maximum capacity.
The bigger the drink, the more chances he had to get a little drunk, maybe forget about you in the process.
"Are you thinking about her, shorty?"
Hange's voice rang in his blank head for several seconds fighting to elicit an answer out of him. He fought back, merely for a moment. If he knew Hange she would have kept pressuring him to answer her question on front of every one else for the rest of the night. He was trying to fix his mood with at least some alcohol, so he wouldn't let Hange ruin it.
He hesitated to speak loud enough for his voice to reach her eardrums. Admitting to his pain made it real, and he hated still being sentimental when it came to you. At least Hange would keep her mouth shut if she got her rightful answer.
"Well I do, I suppose." He muttered below his breath, gray eyes never averting to her direction.
Hange curious expression immediately transformed into one of pure mischievous excitement that, he had to admit, was pretty unsettling. He knew that look on his friend's face, he couldn't fight it even if he wanted to so naturally he wished he had bit back on his answer. Nevertheless, what was done was done.
"It sucks doesn't it?" Hange spoke, pointer finger stretching to fox her glasses.
"It makes me feel lonely."
"Well don't make your self suffer, shorty." Hange's eyes softened as she threw a playful punch on his bicept, her drink long forgotten on the counter. "You could try to be friends with her."
"It's not that I want to suffer, it keeps me going sometimes. And no, I don't want to."
With squinted eyes and a disappointed gaze Hange shook her head at him and grabbed her drink from the wooden counter. Her mouth formed in a disapproving smirk causing her cheeks to squint and scrunch in an almost too comical manner. Levi knew he should have paid, absolutely, no mind on stressing over it; whether she was right or wrong she wasn't in a place to judge him for any of his choices, especially on the ones on his romantic life. And even more executionally, on ones she had helped him make by setting him up with Petra.
Not that he had anything against Petra.
He actually enjoyed her company. The cute little remarks she'd make for him, the way she cared for anything he did or the way her eyes would ogle at him as if he was a god. She could keep her space clean and she was kind to everyone in the sweetest manner. On top of that she had a girl next door type of beauty, auburn hair parted messily according to any occasion and round hazel eyes. All in all Hange had been right to point out she looked good on him.
Tonight, Petra was shining in her favorite pastel layers. A soft strawberry lilac turtleneck with flared sleeves as a base, topped with a powder blue strappy dress and finally completed with velvet baby pink Vans. Cute sparkly pins were accessorising her hair and numerous necklaces with moon and star charms shone on her neck. The effort she had put to perfect her aesthetic had indeed paid off; she looked like a fairy under the erratic lights of the party. She had achieved her initial goal to stand out from the occasional soft girls around the crowd, signifying she was Levi's girl.
With Levi's popularity amongst ladies, she had to be effortlessly perfect.
And she was, for as long as she was concerned.
Levi shot his eyes to his friends' direction, catching quickly glimpses of the way Petra danced with Hange. Erwin and Mike were nowhere to be found for now, as he assumed they would be searching for Nanaba.
He cringed at the chaotic arrangement of things; Nanaba had distanced her self from the group because she was your childhood friend so her relationship with Mike naturally came second to not forcing you into the same group as Levi. As if Levi wanted to be forced to be in the same group as you.
Fortunately, you had plenty of friends as to not to stick onto his group.
He was gulping a mouthful of his drink, copper whiskey watering down his dry throat as if he hasn't drunk anything in hours, when his eyes met yours in the crowd. His heart immediately skipped a long beat, chest heavying at the sight of your flushed face.
Maybe, on second thought, you hadn't actually noticed him.
You stood outside of the massive glass window proudly downing the shot in your hand after cheering on it with Eren. There was joy written on your makeup accessoried face; with your eyes squinted and your smile spread to your face asour hips moved according to the music engulfed in Eren's palms. Your hair swayed with each one of your movements, (h/c) locks landed messily on your face and shoulders mirroring Eren's to perfection. Levi couldn't help but notice how Eren's man bun was coming undone on the erratic movements his made.
As you slightly squated, attempting to perk your buttocks in the air for your partner to grab, your baggy jeans tightened their hug on your body in perfection. Levi remembered having seeing you in those baggy cargo jeans from afar on a few occasions, always thinking how good they looked on you, always admiring how you could always lull off your desired aesthetic effortlessly.
It was true that had he not seen you flawnting your effortless dark urban style, he would have thought that Petra had been the only girl who could show anyone how dressing aesthetically could be achieved. But you were something different. They way your breasts sat firmly at the bustier bits of your spaghetti strapped top, adorned by the corset like nature of the torso tube looked magnificent paired to your jeans. Your jet black Dr Marten's boots peaked from the flared finish of your jeans, giving the look a 90s grungy edge along with your all natural -be it for your dark maroon lip color.
Looking around, amongst numerous art majors like you he couldn't find someone who could mimick the way you pulled it off.
There fore, on a way he didn't blame Eren's hands as they traveled down your curves and touched tenderly at your torso. Even if the motion pulled any string in his heart that wasn't numbed by his alcoholic beverage.
He loathed you looked so good, and he loathed the way you danced to the loud tune as if no one was around.
With another big gulp on his whiskey, he felt the world slowing down around him.
As your eyes finally met -this time it wasn't just him imagining things- the tune changed, mocking him for gawking at you while taking your side against him. He noticed you mouth the lyrics to him, your head turned to his direction as his eyes struggled to rip away from your form.
Your moves on Eren became more intimate, more suggestive as you scratched the nape of his neck, bringing your mouth close to his ear to whisper words Levi couldn't have known of. Quickly, Eren pulled away with a pouty smile, displeased that he had to pull away from you. It was in that second that Levi's chest tightened dangerously, as Eren's lips brushed chastely on yours, noses bumping on eachother.
In an attempt to shook the image out of his head he turned on his heels, cup squeezed in hand and stomach growling in anxiety as he marched to his group of friends. Smiling faces welcomed him but he paid no mind in reciprocating the slightest glance. Levi wasn't exactly the type to bounce back immediately after having experienced his heart sinking in such horrid way.
Unsurprisingly for him -seeing that he was used to things only going downhill after a shitty event- Mike appeared out of the blue with Nanaba linked on him through their elbows. It wasn't in fact Nanaba that shattered any remain of his, already ruined, mood, but the person that clung into her palm.
More specifically, you.
"Heyy!!" Hange screamed, hands stretching towards your direction, already pulling you in her embrace once you reached her velocity. "I have missed you so much, where have you been these days!"
"Hange we went out for launch yesterday." You giggled through your squished cheek.
"Noo, that was ages ago I miss you everyday."
You shot a judgemental look at Erwin from Hange's back as she began to pull back from your embrace. The lisps and slips of her tongue were starting to become prominent as she poured words before you in an excessively fast paced manner, leaving you unable to come up with a way to respond to her, let alone understand what she had been saying.
Erwin scratched the back of his head an but his lip in response, shoulders rising up in an unbeknownst manner.
"You shouldn't let her drink that much. You know how she gets." You scolded, looking around the faces of your friends, trying your best not to let your faint voice get overlapped by the loud reggaeton beat.
Once again as Levi's eyes locked gazes with yours your breath hitched inside your chest.
His hand strode out to Petra's waist, pulling her closer almost too automatically for anyone not to notice. The commotion caught your eye, but you never flinched, much to your demise. Petra's hair swayed to the right as her smile widened from the sudden affectionate gesture, making you sick to the stomach from how soft and fragile and enchanting she had managed to look.
"Anyways I just came to say hi, I'll go find Eren now-"
Your words were cut short as your aforementioned significant other showed up bouncing in excitement beside you. Mirroring Levi's actions he pulled you close in a swift movement before ensuring he gave soft smiles to everyone. Hange excitedly greeted him back as Nanaba and Mike caught him up in casual conversation.
Levi watched as the brunette whipped his head whenever he flawnted on his achievements, causing Nanaba to shoot him awkward smiles and Mike to shrug him off in the process. You could see the despair in their faces as Eren egoistically carried on the conversation, but you tried to shrug it off for the moment as you conversed with Erwin.
Your mind wouldn't stop ordering your eyes to attach themselves into the picture perfect couple ahead of you, who paid no mind to your mere existence. In a way you blamed yourself for having caused this. Had you uttered a single hello to them you wouldn't have received such treatment. It served you right for knowingly intruding their space with the intention to make your presence known to Levi.
If you knew if the way Levi's eyes fell onto you everytime you looked away, you wouldn't have had yanked Eren's hand in an attempt to gain his attention.
"Ah sweetheart, I'm sorry, Yeagerbombs with your Yeager boy?" Eren blinked his emerald eyes into yours, pride splattered in his smile for his -cringeworthy to anyone else but himself- pun. You couldn't help but let out a nervous snicker of a laugh as he yanked you close to him again, pleading eyes landing into Levi's stormy gaze.
For you, the world seemed to stop in the moment as you took in his dimly lit face and delicate features. The music fell deaf to your ears as you gawked at him, hands trembling and tongue tied in words that you failed to recognize.
That mellow melancholy in his eyes, the adorning eyebags, the way some short coarse hairs on his face tried to mimick his neatly kept undercut, it all seemed unreal to you.
How long had it been since you had been so close to him? Nowadays it seemed the two of you had moved on to whatever. You had tried so much to avoid eachother that your timing never allowed the two of you to meet, not even for a the slightest, in hopes of forgetting about each others existence.
What downed you, though, from your precious pink cherry blossom rainfall bubble was that Petra was wrapped lovingly around him, her aesthetically pleasing image fitting conveniently with your little fairytale background, throwing you out of it.
By faintly excusing yourself from the group you let yourself lose on Eren's grip as he slipped you away from the crowd and towards the kitchen.
__
Levi didn't want to have to take a trip to the bathroom of a sorority house. In thought it seemed disgusting and unsanitary, but he had so much to drink that his body had been begging and screaming to him for some sort of relief.
He assumed the upstairs bathroom would be clean, supposing there weren't any horny young adults crushing their reproductive organs against eachother as there would normally be at any party of this nature.
With a steady knock that elicited no answer or even a simple grunt from the other side of the door he knew he was good to go. With a movement of his wrist the handle twisted and he slowly let himself in, eager to get through the process as fast as possible.
A few moments later and the fly of his distressed jeans was being zipped up again, tucked neatly under his black crewneck's bottom. He scrunched his sleeves up above his elbows and run his hand under the sink, waiting for the water to warm up.
His face looked tainted in the mirror; puffy eyebags and a deadpan expression while his lips stayed chapped. In an attempt to look presentable he run his now excessively washed hands through his front bangs tagging slightly to form a little volume at the roots.
He hadn't expected to swoon so easily at the sight of you being playfully entangled with Eren. He hadn't expected his heart to sink at the sight of you being explicitly affectionate with anyone before him and he wondered if it was simply due to the fact that he hadn't been accostumed to it. He certainly hadn't expected of Eren to step in and swoop you away before his very eyes; the pain of seeing you next to a friend of his seemed even more devastating for a few seconds.
Nevertheless, the little shit had always had an eye on you, even if he liked to consider himself as a protegee if his.
Levi wondered if you had felt that loathing feeling as well. Petra hadn't been that private about their relationship, with her constant posts on Instagram, her continuous snaps of him on a daily basis. Whereas he hadn't seen you post many things in the course of eight months.
He had brushed off the idea of scrolling through your socials a numerous times before finally agreeing on linking with Petra. Secretly he'd search for your shared photos, hoping they'd appear out of nowhere on your profile. Secretly he'd stare at his archived posts, contemplating on whether he should keep photos of a better time protected or whether he should delete them.
Now with his back against the sink to prevent himself from catching his reflection judging him, he unlocked his phone and tapped the familiar fuchsia icon. As expected, Eren's profile icon flashed in a pink and orange ombre circle before all others, signaling he had posted a story. Not supressing his pulled heartstrings who were set to call the shots tonight, Levi tapped on the icon with such force that a loud tapping sound filled his ears.
The video loaded painfully slow, his data connection giving in to the thick bathroom walls. Eren's face flashed on his screen, sheepish smile adorning his features."There's no hope for us!" He spoked in blurred pronounciation. "Even the anti smoker is smoking!" In a quick sequence the camera angle shifted on you, apathetically taking a drag out of a freshly rolled cigarette while cussing him out in a stern tone.
Silently he scrunched his nose and clicked his tongue in annoyance. Surely you still hadn't learnt from past mistakes. In seldom occasions you'd smoke while mixing your drinks, nothing unusual for people at your age; although Levi knew better than to do it consciously, you sometimes did. He had been strick and unforgiving on you, snapping out on you the following day for not taking good care of yourself. Clearly his short temper had only pushed you to riot now that you were away from him.
When the door shot open, causing him to jump and nearly let his phone slip away from his grip, he couldn't bring himself to realise for how long he'd been sitting in the bathroom, replaying Eren's story.
His eyes quickly recognised you as you shot your arms to pull your hair away from your face. He had seen you from every possible angle, a feeling that once upon a time had made him feel sick and trapped, pushing him to make stressed decisions. Every little detail of yours was curved in the back of his brain, awaiting for moments like this to unleash. It was easy like that to recognize you for miles ago.
As much as he'd like to, he didn't make a move towards you, afraid that maybe if you saw him out of all people in this state you'd jump in fear.
Nonetheless he couldn't help the silent inquiry concerning your condition not slip off his mouth. "You alright there?"
"I'm fine." You gulped, supressing the urge to spill your stomach's insides before the person behind you. "It's just- my ex is here and I- I guess I got stressed and I smoked and I drunk too much and ugh-" you cringed at the way you overshared your personal matters with a stranger, although you momentarily found comfort in the action. No one could judge you if they didn't know you, right?
"You don't say!"
Of course luck wouldn't be on your side. Ever since you laid your eyes on him a few hours ago you knew it in your heart this night would fall in crumbles, but did it really have to be this way?
You jumped, startled at the sight of Levi's familiar face, ignoring the way your heart fell as hard as a rock in your stomach, ignoring the vertigo like feeling to numb the poor organ. Puke hitched in your throat and you ripped your eyes away from his form in a panicked state. Your stomach emptied in the porcelain toilet, leaving atrocious sounds as it burned and scratched on your throat. You feel your whole body go weak with every shot of your stomach. Your hands couldn't keep their grasp on your hair; they quickly fell near your legs.
Levi crouched to your side in a heartbeat, his quick instincts getting the best of him as he grabbed your hair tenderly in order to keep it away from your face.
"Fuck, just how much did you even drink?" He whispered, hand reluctantly reaching to soothe down your back.
"You should know." You barked. "You were staring. How dare you?"
He had grown accustomised to quite make out your mutters by assuming what you were feeling in the moment. Athough, as your excessive vomiting came to an alt, you yanked your hair angrily out of his hands, refusing to associate yourself with him anymore.
As you meticulously washed your hands and mouth you noticed his stretched hand shielded the way to the door, blocking you from exiting. Your dizzy state didn't allow you to be feisty as you fixated your interest in swooning over the way his arms looked with his sleeves rolled up. You took a mental note to scold yourself for that very fact once you were sober enough.
"I have to go to my friends, thanks for helping me."
"You're not going anywhere." You noticed his breath hitched as he spoke. Was he equally as drunk? Wasn't he supposed to handle his alcohol like he had always said? Just how much had he had to drink? "You're not going anywhere until you tell me why you drunk so much."
Your silent thoughts geared up inside your brain, ready to skyrocket out of your mouth the moment you opened it to speak. "It's because you're here and you're with her and seeing the two of you in action is only making it real!"
Levi erratically blinked at your word vomiting. He hadn't expected you to just spill out those words without a notice it a warning, hell, even a little warm up would be nice to help him form a preserved reaction without becoming a drunk stuttering mess.
Without warning your hands wrapped around him, chests pressed against each other in the firmest way possible, sending shivers down his newly sweating spine. Normally, he'd say he hated the way you nuzzled against the crook of his neck, wiggling your nose through his crewneck sweater to coo into his warmth. Normally, he'd pinch himself and wake up and you would disappear, never to been seen laying beside him in such manner again.
Normally his blood wouldn't pump profoundly in his veins in excitement and lust as your touch and your smell.
As the sweet aroma of vanilla and pergamont englulfed his nostrils his arms loosened around him before jumping to the sides of your face, yanking it away from his neck. His next move was crucial; thumbs tenderly stroked on your cheeks as his stormy eyes looked silently into yours. He could only listen to his heartbeat as he crushed his mouth against yours in a feverous manner.
His body pushed against yours in need to pull you into the kiss as you responded with equal effort to your passion. Fortunately for him you had spent minutes trying meticulous wash out any smell or taste away from your mouth with some oral hygiene products you had happened to come across in the cupboards. The fact that he was drunk didn't mean he was inconsiderate of his need for everything to be clean.

All in all, be wasn't sure how the two of you ended up in the backseat of his car, topless with your tongues genuinely battling for dominance.
He must have been in a haze as he pushed past and out of the crowd, erratically trying to remember the general direction in which his car was parked.
As his hands gripped everywhere he could find his eyes didn't dare to shoot open. Existing in this moment, dry humping to your hips from underneath you. Tiny bumps adorned your skin every time he touched you. The freezing air of December had finally brushed its effect on both of you, soft shivers shook your whole form and he couldn't help but notice.
He couldn't think straight, despite wanting to though.
Your lips launched in the soft spot on his neck in an effortless manner. To him it was obvious you hadn't forgotten his own anatomy; all the places that you touched teased him perfectly to submission making him sink into the black industrial seat.
Your hands passionately grabbed the back of his hair, elbows colliding with the skin just under his collarbone.
"I've missed this, I've longed for this."
Your words, whether they were intentional or not, slit through his chest and set fire to the wound, causing another wave of stressful passion to spread from his stomach to his whole body. Chaste kisses were places all over his face, underneath his bangs, on his eyes, even the tenders corners of his jaw.
Your noses crashed, your breaths mingling in the air as your lips found his again.
You moved your lips in perfect synch, as if they were two pieces of a puzzle that were fabricated to fit perfectly on eachother. It hurt you that your bodies were working against your sober wills. You made another note to punish yourself for that as well once you were in your right mind.
His hands wrapped tighter around your back, crashing you impossibly closer next to him. Your chest fought to rise and fall as squirms escaped you, engulfed into his mouth.
"We shouldn't do this here, I'm not up to voyeuring anyone." He remarked, but fell silent as you placed another brushing kiss on his lips before pulling back to slightly nod in agreement.
Before you knew it you were wrapped in his jacket, your top long forgotten in an unseen corner of his car. His own charcoal black crewneck shielded his body from your sight as he hit the pedals of his car almost too closely to the allowed speed limit.
Long forgotten were his friends and date to the first party, long forgotten were any attempts to find excuses for whatever had ignited what was happening.
The trip to his apartment was quicker than what you had expected; maybe it was for the alcohol in your system that left you in a constant vertigo, but your head wasn't getting any better. The warm golden Christmas city lights adorned every single aspect of the streets and captivated your eyes spreading their heat into your whole form. With Christmas around the corner the current situation felt even more alluring to indulge into.
Christmas always meant Levi, in a way.
You swore you only blinked for a second once you entered the apartment building front door but when you opened your eyes you were before his door.
As always, it read 25B.
In a flash you were underneath him in his bed, hair sprawled everywhere around you as his lips angrily assaulted your collarbones. You didn't trust your drunk antics to tell you if the night was still young, but you assumed it could still labor a few more hours of the greediness between two long lost lovers.
"I" he started acting kissed on your lips as his hands came to mingle with the button of your jeans. "Want you to know." Another kiss was placed on your lips. "That" another "I-"
This time you cut him off with your swollen lips on his, sucking all air out of his lungs. "Just kiss me and we'll talk about this afterwards."

Your eyes throbbed as light entered their cavities, reflecting on your irises despite your best wishes. You had only just shot out a hand to shield them from the warm rays of sun when panic stabbed through your chest like a murderous intruder.
They blueyish grey tink to the walls and the futuristic design of the drawers and nightstands were all too familiar to you. They stood there, mocking you on all their dark chocolaty color for being unable to come up with an immediate answer to your whereabouts.
Your head was being occasionally jolted in throbbing hot pain as you decided to look around you in the matress, in hopes of recognising the person to whom the newly sounding grunts belonged to.
To your utter shock and disbelief, Levi shot up from his position on the bed. You watched as his eyes widened at the sight of you, grey orbs slightly shrinking in shock and realisation.
"What did you-" he began but soon his hand shot up to his own throbbing head. "Shit just how much did we have to drink?"
"Okay I have a better question," you added to your shared misery "are you as naked as I am?"
It was on rare occasions that you had seen such irrational panic mask Levi's face, yet this time must have been the most striking one amongst the ones you could recall. His skin had lost at least two shades of color, his lips parted slightly. His forehead was cringled as his eyebrows were skyrocketing away from his eyes.
Although when he opened his mouth in an attempt to confirm the obvious, he was quickly cut off by the sound of his doorbell being rung, along with three stern knocks on his door. Even his phone started ringing from beside him, adding pressure to his momentarily frozen state. He picked the divice in his hands, fingers shakingly making their way to the acceptance button.
"Hey Petra!"
"Hey love!" You heard the cheerful voice fill the air through his speaker. Petra had a really loud voice, you noticed, it was either that or that your head was about to explode from the hangover. "I'm outside, please open up, you left without even saying goodbye and wouldn't pick up your phone. I'm so worried."
"Tch, give me a second I'll get changes and we can have breakfast at that cafe you like." Levi grunted, his thumb reaching to rub soothing circles on the prominent vein in his forehead.
"Can I come inside?"
Shit.
"Yeah yeah." He spoke as he hit the closing button, his phone being slammed against the bed. His head turned to you, only to reveal a section of his throat that was bruised in lovemarks you had left on him. "Hide, stay silent, I don't know which one, just do it."
After his harsh order, his eyes never had a chance to reach yours as he got up from the bed to sprint to his dresser, hurriedly searching for the only washed black turtleneck he owned. He hadn't even had a chance to look himself in the mirror, but knowing you, you couldn't have held back from munching on the skin in his throat.
Upon his quick discovery, he threw on a pair of gray of sweats that he recover from the hanger behind his door.
You didn't dare speak, hell you didn't even dare move, the fear of being discovered in such pretentious position -as the third person- in a house you once had lived in overtook your natural senses and your irrational thinking. Your heart didn't cease to sink as moments later you heard the door click open, then immediately close.
The familiar buzzing sound of silence filled your ears a few moments later. This time realisation kicked in immediately in hopes of drowning your mind in excessive amounts of overthinking. That's how it was then?
Your head plopped down the pillows, sinking deeper and deeper with each passing second. Your heart skipped essential beats and your breathing hitched in your throat. Only one question stood on top of others.
What had you done?
