first off, affectionate eye rolling, nose boop, and head bonk is the best thing.

second, IF SOMEONE SAYS THAT DURING WHEN CALLUM WAS HELPING RAYLA PUT ON HIS SCARF AND THEY J STARED AT EACHOTHER FOR A BIT BEFORE RAYLA TURNED AWAY THAT HE WAS N O T LOST IN HER EYES? they’re wrong. this is fact now.

third, their teamwork and decision making is excellent. they agree to try and sneak past sol regem, and when that fails try talking to him and then decide to simply trick his senses with the scarf. and instead of rayla shooting down callum’s “smelltriloquism” idea, she simply adds onto it! LOVE HEALTHY FRIENDSHIPS

an overall look on it, i like how this episode really shows their feelings clearly. no “will they won’t they”, at least for rayla. it’s clear she has feelings.

first i love how when rayla mentions that she’s excited and happy but also terrified, callum tries to comfort her. good boi. best boi.

second, elf callum. i love that scene so much even if the second-hand embarrassment kills me, and rayla is j like “why the fuck do i love you. im gonna kill him.”

third, DANCE! callum not being rude and saying her home is “modest” before rayla explains it’s an illusion, his BLUSH WHEN SHE HELPS HIM, and the softness in general. rayla’s excitement that she’s home and talks abt that she can show callum where she went to school, the best moonberry surprise place, until...

fourth, AH FUCK. A N G S T T I M E. rayla being crest-fallen before callum says that it must’ve been a mistake, and she realizes that ethari would probably understand!

and then CONFIRMED GAYS. YES.

rayla realizing ethari ghosted her too and then callum GOING O F F. he angy and when rayla runs out callum IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWS (like in a later episode) and comforts her again.

when ethari comes down and breaks the spell and says to callum “trees to meet you too” and rayla’s like “don’t encourage him”

4. H E R E W E G O

first, rayla clearly being sad and callum picking up on that quickly (he even seems to be almost falling on purpose, perhaps to make her smile?) and asking if she’s ok before being shot down by rayla insisting she is fine. GOD DAMN. THAT HURTS.

second, their interaction with nyx is so amazing. rayla being protective of zym and callum being a DORK is awesome, but also their decision making.

after rayla reluctantly decides that they can go see how nyx could get them across the desert so quickly, they see the ambler and then their reasoning is amazing.

“what do you think?”

“the dragon queen is dying.” and then i forget the rest of the exact quote but they give a subtle nod to eachother. they make their decisions TOGETHER. AS A TEAM. AND THAT’S ON HEALTHY FRIENDSHIPS X2!

third, callum continuing to gently press for rayla to express her emotions. he doesn’t pressure her, but seems to simply let her know that if she needs to talk (when she insists she’s fine), he is there. 

four, MORE FLUSTERED RAYLLUM. YES. TY NYX but also fuck u for taking zym but also ur hot- A N Y W A Y

five. OOOOOOH. MY FAVORITE SCENE.

rayla’s crying and callum tries to reassure her. nyx is plotting, while rayla runs away and callum follows. Y E S.

callum is upset because of thunder and rayla sympathizes immediately. this is similar to how callum lets rayla let out her own emotions, and rayla is doing the same. he explains how he feels angry, upset, confused, sad, and rayla quickly empathizes. he keeps on venting, not knowing whether to feel regretful, or glad, and how he’s confused because that’s sarai’s spear. he feels sorry that all this happened, but rayla reassures him that zym and ezran are going to break the cycle! that’s hope! and then they hold hands and i screech

before we go to the actual angst, can i say that THE LAUGH AFTER RAYLA SAID “STORM SNEEZE” IS SO CUTE. CALLUMS IN LOVE. MY SON.

although their fight is super angsty and i hate it, it does provide some conflict and more plot because it gives callum a reason to want to find out the truth about rayla’s parents. and then he does! people argue that this fight was unnecessary or that callum was a jerk, but this was needed i think. he did let his worry become a bit of anger, and that was not a nice move, but he knows he fucked up and fixes it!

and then we get soft rayllum this is fine

there’s not much rayllum featured in this ep, but the amount we do get is 80 PERCENT ANGST AND I WASN’T OK WITH IT

first, the fluff! callum trying to do the wing spell and rayla teasing “did you pull a muscle in the middle of a jumping jack?” is so cute. i LOVE THEM. also they hold hands and i SH RIEK again. 

also soren how dare you interrupt callum he was abt to confess

second, callum when he’s explaining the battle plan and his ZAP HAND. rayla is j watching him like “yep. that is my dork.”

third, callum going up to the storm spire after ez encouraging him to go to rayla. love that soft brotherly relationship. and we think “oh, soft rayllum, right?”

Chapter 9: The Sands Of Time & Love

While the ponies that make up the Elements of Harmony and their friends and family prepare for the upcoming Royal Ball and Wedding in Saddle Arabia. The capital city is also preparing from as high up as the Royals to the average everyday citizens that are just excited that Twilight’s coming back once more. Since the last time they were here, Saddle Arabia has been well, though the aftermath of the battle with Zathir was surely felt throughout. A good amount of cheers from the entire city were said to be heard when Zathir was sentenced to life in prison officially. And the Sultan immediately made it a directive of the army to apprehend any Desert Dogs, who still maintain some sort of loyalty to the former Vicegerent.

Though aside from stomping down anything remaining of the evil of Zathir, the citizens were kinda afraid the experience would scare Twilight and the others from ever coming back, as it didn’t exactly help that both times Twilight has come here, something happened whether it changed the course of her life by changing her into a genie in the first place, and being forced by a madman to almost kill all her best friends and her adopted dragon son, Spike. Thankfully, the news that Twilight is not just coming back but also being involved a big event where the populace can see more prominent Equestrian citizens, entertainers, and allies from other nations close to Equestria. Twilight’s surely making this her grandest reappearance yet, and that has brought great joy.

Not to mention two citizens who were now renowned as among the heroes that defeated Zathir are getting wed: Malakhar Manat and Kubuya Atka. A pottery shop owner and a librarian respectively. Both also were key players when Twilight was first genified, Malakhar being the first pony in a long time to successfully genify somepony, while Kubuya mainly helped with Twilight and Spike getting information in the library she works at. They met shortly after Twilight first left Saddle Arabia after deciding to stay a genie after all, stroke up a friendship that bloomed into love. And now about 4-5 years later, they felt they were ready to be wed. They’re delighted that the Royal Family are pulling out all the stops for their wedding coming up, hosting a grand event as a precursor though they definitely know that not everybody that will be at the ball, will also stick around for the wedding just days later. But they’re a modest couple that thought at first holding it at the Royal Palace was overdoing it a bit, but the royal family insisted. Regardless of the location of the ball, they’ll be grateful for any number of friends and family that come.

For now however, they’re on a very solemn occasion currently. As before the wedding happens, Malakhar wanted to visit his grandfather’s grave at the Saddle Arabia Cemetery, Kubuya also coming with. Malakhar bringing a bouquet of Flowers, before going in a prayer position. On the stone itself is the words “Here lies Hisan Manat. Proud Grandfather, Father, and Husband. May Wishes Return One Day”. The two just sit quietly for a few moments. In a little bit of time, Kubuya speaks up to ask something of Malakhar.

Kubuya Atka: Say um… if I i may ask. How did your Grandfather come across the Dragon’s Tear that would genify Twilight?

Malakhar Manat: He actually had a secret Dragon’s Tear that he didn’t tell me he had until he was on his death bed. Before then, we were still simply two ponies looking fruitlessly for years for another Dragon’s Tear to show up. Though there was one moment, where we briefly thought we had one come practically in our own backyard.

Kubuya: Oh really? Can you tell me about that?

Malakhar: It wasn’t literally in our backyard, but we were behind our hut at the moment…

*Flashback*

Hisan Minat and Malakhar Manat was up in the morning on what was expected to be just another normal day for the pottery-selling family. A young Malakhar in his teens was shaping up the clay on the spinning tables. His grandfather smiling at his grandson’s work.

Hisan Manat: You’re doing a wonderful job with your clay pots. You’re getting close to mastering them! Once you have, it’ll be time to teach you how to make glass bottles.

Malakhar: Thanks Grandpa!

In a little bit, Malakhar finishes his pot and procedes to place it on a table to later put it in the kiln. Malakhar stretches and proceeds to go outside for some fresh air, his Grandfather follows him. Malakhar looks around the are a little bit before seeing something faint far in the distance, but from the looks of it was something really big. He can just make out what looked like to be big wings and a long neck. He immediately calls out to his Grandfather to look at what he’s seeing. Hisan goes to his son’s side and watches what his grandson pointed to.

Hisan: Malakhar… that might be a dragon!

Malakhar: Oh wow!

In a few short moments, suddenly a big thud could be heard that might of vaguely came from the direction the dragon was coming.

Hisan: That sound… is the dragon dying? Malakhar, we have to go over there right away!

Malakhar: Won’t that be kind of dangerous, especially if it’s still alive?

Hisan: Maybe, but there’s a strong possibility that by the time we get over there, we won’t have to worry about it being still alive.

Malakhar and Hisan immediately head out to trek towards to the direction the dragon might of landed in the desert. To add to the intrigue, they weren’t alone. Sultan Theandri, Princess Celestia, and some Saddle Arabian Guards were also on there way there. Which raised Hisan and Malakhar’s hope that this was something big happening. in time, they find a nearby cave where just near the entrance a big mark in the sand that would fit if a Dragon that fell. Though also from the mark is the prints of a dragon crawling into the cave. Sort of worrying that the Dragon could still be alive and thus would be dangerous to approach the cave. The Sultan’s bravest guards decide to check if it’s safe before anyone else comes in. In time, they come back and say it’s safe because the dragon is deceased. Hisan can barely contain his excitement as this is perhaps the 1 in a 1,000,000 chance that a huge Dragon’s Tear has appeared. Providing enough to chip out to potentially make dozens of genies

However, when the entire group enters the cave. Hisan’s excitement slowly turns into nervousness as he sees no sign of a Dragon’s Tear, and eventually despair as he’s looked everywhere in the cave and see’s nothing. Not even a chip. He falls on his knees and just bangs his hooves on the sand in frustration. Malakhar shows concern for his grandfather though he decides to help by making a closer look around the Dragon. Malakhar first looks at the dead dragon itself, it had light pink scales all over with green back plates, and somewhere near the dragon’s legs was a small egg. It was purple, with darker shades of purple spots spread across it. Malakhar walks up to it, picks it up, and shows it to his grandfather as well as the royals in the cave. He in fact lets go of it carefully, and lays it at the ground near the tall princess, Celestia herself with a solemn sad face with concern for the egg.

Celestia: How awful that this dragon will not have a live mother to care for it. And if nothing is done about it, the dragon inside may never hatch at all…

Sultan Theandri: Is there perhaps a chance we can find the father of this egg?

Celestia: Unfortunately not, Theandri. Or at least it certainly wouldn’t be easy. Dragons don’t have marriages, they have many, many, many mates in their lifetimes. Only the mother takes care of the young. And other dragon mothers aren’t usually open to adoption. I’ll have to take it to Equestria and come up with an idea of what I should do with it.

Malakhar smiles to himself that perhaps he saved a baby dragon’s life by handing over the egg to the benevolent leader of Equestria, who will no doubt know what to do with it. Though he and his Grandfather then just accompany eachother as they leave slowly out of the cave. His grandfather still visibly disappointed the hope for a dragon’s tear went bust.

*Flashback ends*

Kubuya: Awwww, sounds adorable that you saved a dragon egg. I hope the dragon you helped save is somewhere out there.

Malakhar: I certainly hope so too.

Kubuya: Though that is a shame for your Grandfather to be given so much hope that a good sized dragon’s tear was imminent, only to find nothing. Though when do you think you Grandfather got hold of the dragon’s tear he handed you on his death bed?

Malakhar: I’m not exactly sure, though I’d be kinda surprised he found it sometime after the dragon in the cave. I think it’s more likely he had it since before then. But since it was only one chip, he had to be really careful who they ultimately chose to Genify. There was no one in Saddle Arabia that quite made him light up that they were perfect to try to genify at the time. So when he started thinking that maybe the next genie might have to be someone foreign to Saddle Arabia, that’s what led him to his eureka moment, when after reading the news about Nightmare Moon’s return and subsequent defeat by the Elements of Harmony, his eyes lit up and must of decided that the next genie must be one of the Elements of Harmony for the one shot to work. In fact, his very last words on his deathbed to me was “Please, genify the Element of Magic”, handing over the dragon’s tear he had all along to me as his last action before finally passing.

Kubuya: I see, thank you for the insight on your grandfather. I figured I’d ask since we are going to be family soon.

Kubuya gives Malakhar a short kiss.

Kubuya: Though I think I’m going to head on over to another grave that’s here if that’s ok with you.

Malakhar: No problem, I’ll follow you.

Kubuya starts on walking on over to a different area of the cemetery. Before finally stopping at one of the grander designed graves  where it’s tall, and on top is a fastened brown ceramic bottle. This was the grave of Jinn. The first genie, who also remained a genie until the time she was the last genie before Twilight’s genification. She went back to being mortal for rather mysterious reasons as the day she finally came back to Saddle Arabia the populace found that she was a normal pony again. From there she’d have a peaceful life in Saddle Arabia, raising a family that after many, many, many generations eventually gave birth to Kubuya. She was the youngest in the bloodline of Jinn’s family still going on. Kubuya herself even as a family member doesn’t know what Jinn was personally like given it was so long ago she was still around, but her family has always revered her perhaps on a stronger level then most Saddle Arabians already did.

Kubuya: She must of been a great pony, would of been nice of her to remain a genie even to this day so I could of seen her. But perhaps I wouldn’t have been born since she was hesitant to have children as a genie.

Malakhar: I imagine the thought of outliving your own children is a bit tough to swallow. But yes, at least being able to speak with Jinn would of been interesting. Not just because she’s our nation’s most revered figures, but given she spent so much time in history. She probably saw many events across the entire world’s history. Granted, she couldn’t say a lot about Saddle Arabia during a long period since she put herself in exile to make sure she didn’t fall under the hooves of that radical part of the regime that wanted to do what Zathir did to Twilight to genies like her. But wherever she was hiding, she probably found ways to keep up with what was going around.

Kubuya: Twilight would of probably liked to spend a whole month just talking personally with Jinn just to hear all about all the historical events Jinn may have witnessed. *giggles*

Malakhar: I wonder if Jinn would of even been able to handle an excitable Twilight like that, haha.

Kubuya: I think ultimately though they’d be great friends. Twilight would probably get so much insight about being a genie from her, and Jinn herself seeing a new genie around.

Malakhar: Most certainly

Kubuya: But we are where we are, how about we head on back home, dear.

Malakhar: Sure

((Story continues after the break))

Malakhar and Kubuya head out of the cemetery and in time gets back to their home. The place used to simply be a hut, but was since upgraded to a full on house and has windows that display Malakhar’s latest pottery designs for customers to buy. They relax for a moment in the living room.

Kubuya: I wonder how Twilight and the others are doing it at this moment.

Malakhar: If I know them, Twilight already has them hard at work finding their invitees. We’ll probably be married within a month or 2 knowing how effective Twilight could potentially get everybody on board quickly enough.

Kubuya: Hehe, may actually be nice to have it done pretty quickly. I can’t wait myself until we’re officially wed.

Kubuya and Malakhar have a prolonged kiss.

Kubuya: Though… I hope it’s not too much to start possibly thinking about having kids? *Kubuya blushes*

Malakhar just smiles while blushing himself

Malakhar: Don’t worry about it, I definitely intend on being a father. And I think we’ll raise great kids. Though I do have a semi-related question for you.

Kubuya: Oh, what’s that?

Malakhar: We did bring Genies back with Twilight, but of course she lives elsewhere. If we can raise our child in the right temperament, and they consent to it. Perhaps we can bring Saddle Arabian born genies again too.

Kubuya looks off to the side with a rather concerned look, she may not like that this question is being positioned now of all times.

Kubuya: Hm, I wouldn’t be completely against it if done the right way. But I don’t want us to be indoctrinating any children we have that they absolutely must become genies when they’re older. We need to focus on being caring parents first before pressuring them to decide to become genies.

Malakhar: Of course, I know through my own Grandfather’s and my Father’s relationship that the next born may not exactly want to follow everything their father wants. I will definitely focus on being a good father first before thinking of genies, but I’m only saying if we should succeed at both raising a good child and they choose to decide to become a Genie when they’re all-grown up.

Kubuya: Just wanted to make sure that you weren’t saying this was the sole reason you wanted to marry me. I’d like to see more genies around too, but as of right now this is about us and our love. Time will tell if our children decide to do anything significant when they’re older. We shouldn’t be deciding what they do before they’re even born.

Malakhar puts a hoof around her shoulder and gives a gentle smile

Malakhar: Don’t worry, honey. I love you, for you. If there was anything I was doing that made you unhappy, even if it meant I got closer to making more genies I would much rather do anything I can to cheer you up. I’m not going to become obsessed with making more Genies as much as my grandfather was, as in all purposes our mission was completed the day Twilight decided to stay a genie. You’re absolutely right that we probably shouldn’t try to push our child to a direction and let them feel things out naturally. It would be much better if hearing things about the genies as they grew up made them curious about it rather then us trying to push them even subtly towards it. Just based on my father, that’s actually the fast track to make sure they never do what you hope they will. 

Perhaps if I were a single parent, I might of made the same mistakes. But the more grounded and quite frankly smart approach from you is part of why I love you so much, you know how to make sure I remain grounded myself and think critically.

Kubuya’s eyes tear up in joyful relief for her to-be husband’s words.

Kubuya: Thank you, dear. That’s what I wanted to hear. The possible motive of that question just slightly worried me.

Malakhar: Yeah I admit, maybe that wasn’t a good time to spring a question like that. But at least we’re an honest enough couple to talk about our concerns and remain level-headed if perhaps something we say are worded strangely, or otherwise odd timing.

Kubuya gets up close and kisses Malakhar once more.

Kubuya: Let’s just relax until we get word the Royal Ball is underway. It’ll be exciting to see Twilight, Spike, her friends we saw last time, and even all their friends that we ourselves haven’t met yet!

Malakhar: Indeed, it will be. It should be a great night, but most assuredly our wedding will be the best part. *winks*

Kubuya just winks back and the loving couple hug it out and giggle. Before relaxing once again, as they await word for when the Royal Ball and also thus their subsequent Wedding begins.

Meanwhile, at the royal palace. The Sultan and Sultana are supervising the work the many butlers, staffers, and guards who are setting up the preparations for the ball. The stage where all the entertainers about halfway done and all the tables in their spots, albeit folded up. The Royal Chefs are also fast at work preparing the kitchens for what will certainly be a large number of guests. 

There’s also being work done on the Palace courtyard where the wedding of Malakhar and Kubuya will take place in, but there’s less of a rush since it’s slated to be a few days after the ball. And some of the things from the ball’s preparation are going to be easy to simply move to the courtyard such as the tables, for whenever they make a headcount of whomever decides to stick around after the ball for the wedding too, as it’s expected to be a smaller crowd for the wedding, though there will still be some important guests at the wedding such as Twilight herself and her friends.

Sultana Elona: Looks like the preparations are going alright, Theo.

Sultan Theandri: Indeed Elona, I am absolutely looking forward to this.

The Sultan and Sultana of Saddle Arabia has generally remained a peaceful rule since the last time Twilight and the others are here. Though the military actually did get to see some action in hunting down the Desert Dogs and forcing an ultimatum of disavow Zathir’s ways or face the same fate of life in prison.

Aside from clamping down on the aftermath of Zathir’s attempted takeover though, things remained pretty normal in Saddle Arabia aside from said battle with Zathir making Twilight and her friends instant living legends, and anyone involved in the cavern that lives in Saddle Arabia known as local heroes, from Malakhar and Kubuya, the Sultana, and even the Prince who had once been considered the #1 suspect for Twilight’s disappearance for a brief time, since the gossip had come out that he had a date that went wrong with her. When the truth came out that while he did have a rather petty ending to his date with Twilight, he was in the heat of the moment and was going to apologize to her just before Zathir’s plan was put in place. And he along with his mother sneaked up on Zathir at one point to try to make Zathir fumble the lamp. Thus, Theandri II was now considered among the heroes.

Though despite the adulation a hero usually gets, Theandri II still hasn’t quite gotten what’s he’s been looking for: A suitor that he mutually loves, as either he just doesn’t have feelings for any native girl of marrying age, and/or he finds out said suitor doesn’t mutually love Theandri II for him, and were simply trying to eventually become the next Sultana for the fame and fortune, nothing more.

The Sultan takes a brief break from supervising the preparations to visit his son in his room. He finds his son lying on his back in his bed, with a bored expression.

Sultan Theandri: What’s wrong, son? Aren’t you excited for the Royal Ball coming soon?

Prince Theandri II: Kind of, I suppose. I’m sure it’ll be a grand event to attend. I’m just… thinking about other things…

By now, the Sultan usually knows what his son means by other things.

Sultan Theandri: I see, still a little down regarding finding a suitor... I understand it can be hard, it took a while for me to find the right one.

Theandri II: You didn’t exactly find Mother, though. She saved your life, and it was through that you met

Sultan Theandri: True…

Theandri II: The closest to anyone who’s saved my life is Twilight after she gave that beatdown on Zathir. And there’s multiple reasons why me and Twilight aren’t going to happen… I’ve already done all I can to make sure I’m over her. Though I am starting to worry that my slight joke to her before she left Saddle Arabia that someone half like her would be enough… is no longer a joke. I may actually need to find someone out there at least close to being like Twilight…Saddle Arabia has plenty of fine mares… but I can’t say any of them were like Twilight…

Sultan Theandri: I see… well the good news is perhaps someone from Equestria that Twilight and her friends bring might interest you. Granted, there’s always the caveat that they might not be willing to move to Saddle Arabia so easily, and of course you should always keep in mind that they may say no just like Twilight did.

Theandri II: Knowing my luck, that’s probably going to happen…

The prince just kind of slumps off to his side in slight frustration and sadness.

Sultan Theandri: Well, whatever happens at the Ball. You have plenty of time left in your young life to find a suitor. So don’t feel like you have to find someone right away.

Theandri II: I know I have plenty of time, but I’d also like some of that said young life spent with someone who might care for me, as I would them… so it’s been hard on me regardless… Don’t worry about me too much father, I’ll still attend the ball and probably Malakhar and Kubuya’s wedding regardless. I don’t expect to find a suitor even from this, but I’ll try to have a great time regardless what happens. You’re free to go back with Mother and continue watching the preparations coming up. I’m just thinking on my own.

Sultan Theandri: Alright, son. But if you need us for anything, you’re always welcome to come out and help with anything you may want.

The Sultan leaves his son’s room and closes the door. He himself has been somewhat worried about his son’s inability to find a suitor that’s mutual in feelings for one another. But continues to just try and be a supportive father and making sure the stress doesn’t get to his son. Even though it would be nice for him personally, to know who one day he and his wife will step down to give the reins of Saddle Arabia to as well.

He soon returns to the side of his wife, as they await for Twilight to show up with the Equestrian invitee list.

1. Neither. Tex's anxiety is too high for either of them to do that. He's extremely afraid of unstable machinery, and will try to stay away from any of it as much as possible. His anxiety disorder said "it will kill you"

2. Tex. He gets a needle in his ass every week and testosterone is injected into it. He can't not be horny. That's just the thing with being trans.

17. Definitely Piers. He's already extremely protective over Marnie, and he definitely would be with everyone he loves. Also, Tex is nearly half his size, so naturally, he'd have to be.

18. Tex talks to Piers while he is sleeping. It's the only time he can actually degrade himself and get away with it, while still feeling listened to. He also talks about how much he loves Piers as if he was confessing his love for the very first time, like they weren't already dating.

19. What's driving? Jokes aside, they both ride on the back of Tex's Arcanine. It's big enough to carry both, and Piers, being lanky, and tex, being tiny, weighs next to nothing, according to the Arcanine. But then again, it's expected, since that Arcanine is most likely the biggest on record.

20. Tex. It's easier for him to succumb to sleep when he's tired. The only reason why he never really sleeps is because it's really hard for him to get tired. Piers, on the other hand, is always tired, but isn't pulled down into sleep as easy. Piers carries Tex to bed and holds him while he sleeps.

21. Piers cuts Tex's bangs. He's always worried since he says he "can't see anything." Knowing how much hair Piers has, he has GOT to be good at taking care of hair to maintain all that. Tex just lets his hair grow.

22. Tex. Sexting usually turns into a bunch of jokes. Piers sends him encouraging texts. As an Ex-gym leader, he knows how stressfull battling all day gets. Tex, being ballonlea's new leader, does his best to honor Spikemuth- his hometown -and refuses to dynamax, even when gym challengers do.

23. Tex for all. He's had a crush on Piers since they were kids, and even to this day, thinks he's not worthy of the face of Spikemuth's love. He's incredibly terrified of losing Piers, whether it be leaving him for someone else, or death. He cries himself to sleep quite often, thinking about the worst case scenario and how it's going to happen, despite the chances being beyond slim. That's his anxiety, for you. Piers is a light sleeper and can definitely hear him crying, so he will wake up in a state of panic and immediately hold Tex.

24. They both think slow dancing is cheesy and they both secretly love it. Neither of them actively engage in it. Piers, being the taller one, will of course pick Tex up just to kiss him.

25. Piers. Tex is easily flustered, and Piers knows this well. He loves seeing Tex smile. Tex doesn't smile often- He's always lost in thought, either overthinking his own existence, or just daydreaming.

26. Piers. Tex recieved the applin from Piers, and, well...

"Hey, lookat me.."

Tex looked up, and Piers gently grabbed his face while pressing his lips to Tex's.

27. Piers. Tex hates eating at unholy hours, and hates food that he deems "unhealthy." Tex will wake Piers up to walk downstairs with him to get water- They both know he's afraid of the dark. (or, as tex puts it, afraid of what could be in the dark)

28. They both do! Only, Piers actually releases and sings them on stage. Tex isn't a full-time musician, the most he'll ever do are covers and original songs on youtube. He dedicates his life to cooking, and his role as the fairy gym leader.

29. Tex. He has no impulse control, will do something stupid, and end up with a concussiom or flesh wound. Piers silently cries the whole ride there because he's just so worried about Tex. Tex is small and fragile.

30. Piers avoids wearing his glasses as much as possible, optimg for contacts instead. Tex wears his glasses no matter what- it masks some of his facial features, and he has an astigmatism anyway. He'd need custom-made contacts if he really wanted to wear 'em. Tex loves when Piers wears his glasses, and will gush about how they're matching. Piers thinks it's adorable, but always says "these are just for readin', hun."

Ruby's friends and family were skeptical about their relationship at first, but they eventually came around. Now they can't see Ruby being happier with anyone else.

36.Who is most likely to ask the other to dance with them? Cinder asks Ruby to dance when they are at a party or function. Sometimes on lazy days or Sunday evenings at home they'll hold onto each other and sway to soft music in the background.

MYTH AND LIGHT UNDER THE DARK

SESSION 2: I Will Offend You Then Destroy You

Here’s what happened in a nutshell (from my perspective): We avoid a lot of dangerous things, argue a lot, and then eventually we get the fight we’ve been looking for; Drow. I continuously yell Elvish curses at Drow while slipping on slime and mushrooms occasionally failing attacks, occasionally succeeding. HOORAH.

This session was honestly so fun, best fun I’ve had in a game in a long time~~!! 

Important to Note: Aravae’s character has officially switched alignment from Chaotic Neutral to Chaotic Good~ That makes 4 of the 7 of us in this adventure all chaotic good!

So~ we are in the underdark, just killed 2 ogres, and the plan now is to rescue Torgga and get out quick before the ogre’s ‘master’ shows up. First part of the plan goes pretty well. Torgga is not conscious- but she ain’t dead! While Ara and Lingkh are helping out with the unconcious dwarf, the rest of us take a look around. Rael the Elf finds a locked door, Mal the Tiefling finds a dying old gnome in another prison like Torgga’s, and Torvin the Dragonborn (I continuously call him Dragonface...) finds a creepy room full of brains.

I follow Torvin into the creepy room and find a set of 3 doors on one end, and another door on the other. I investigate the 3 doors; I jump up (haha) and look out some windows above the doors and see paths into the underdark- a way out! Torvin, however, peeks through cracks into the other door and finds a mind flayer. A MIND FLAYER. He yells at us as quietly loudly as he can about what he’s found, how dangerous it is, and that we need to skedaddle outta there ASAP.

Mal helps me bust open the three doors and we are on our way out! But not before Torgga regains consciousness, busts open the locked door I found earlier, and retrieves her beloved hammer- she even kisses it! Such a dwarf that one~ We travel quickly and quietly and find a place to rest.

Ara: We should go back and save that gnome

Almost everyone else: What gnome?? The gnome in the prison, where the ogres are, where the mind flayer is?? That gnome??

Ara: ~says something about how it’s not right to leave him there, changes her alignment, and in typical Ara fashion- decides to go back and get the old dying gnome~

Torgga: ~although she was just healed and all from nearly being dead, volunteers to go with Ara- something about fighting for those who cannot fight for themselves (bless her heart)~

Everyone else: Okay. Bye then. 

Lol! Now, in another D&D life, we (Rael who used to be Lenna, and Mal who used to be Norda) would’ve followed Ara no matter what; we were friends. But right now, we’re not very close knit and so Rael, Torvin, Mal, and Lingkh watch Ara and Torgga run off to do crazy things. We discuss for a short while about how we literally don’t know anything about Ara or eachother. They say she’s a weird elf and then I promptly correct them saying she’s actually a half-elf because I am sometimes snobby about these things. Ha. Honestly should’ve gotten inspiration for that~~~

Mal and Lingkh make bets on whether or not they’ll come back alive, Rael remembers that Ara has things she needs and she would rather not lose them before this journey is over- so she sets off to go and find them and make sure everything goes okay, Torvin comes with. I’m not sure why he decided to come, but we sorta become friends- he speaks 5 languages.

Ara and Torgga successfully save the old gnome. He’s not mentally all there...probably because of the mind flayer~~ Anyways, Torgga’s got him on her back and they make their way safely out of the mind flayers zone. They meet up with Rael and Torvin on the way back and we learn that the gnome is afraid of everyone taller that him, especially the dragonborn (even though he speaks perfectly good gnomish). So he stays with Torgga and mumbles a lot. His name is Renifey. He desperately needs some mental healing, but none of us have the spells/power necessary for that. Sad day.

We trek on towards Mithrum! Guess what we find next?? It’s the best thing you find next in a world underground- SPIDERWEBS. We don’t find any spiders, yet- but we find a humongous tunnel full of spiderwebs. Some of us want to engage the spiders head on (*coughTORVINcough*) and some of want to do anything but that (*coughRAELANDMALANDMOREcough*). We decide to try and sneak through without touching anything, planning to fight the spiders that obviously exist only when we have to! Clever, no??!? Anyways

We get to a room blocked by a wall of web and it seems that the only way out is through. We struggle for a very long time about what the best plan of action is, and then I (Rael) grab Tovin’s torch (he has awful sight down here so he’s always got a torch lit) and I hurl it out into the webs behind us!!! Those webs promptly burst into flame and we all cut furiously through the web wall in front of us hoping that the spiders inspect the burning webs while we escape. Clever, no??!? It works (Go Elf) and we make it out without encountering a single spider. We find a place to rest and Ara and I share our food and water with the gnome and Torgga.

Torvin, knowing the Underdark well and being a rogue, looks for water and food. He reports back about a bad stream and some Duergar with their slaves he found. At the mention of the Duergar both Torgga (the righteous Dwarf who once looked a Duergar in the face at a bar and legit just punched him even though he had friends to back him up and she didn’t- yet) and Lingkh (the righteous paladin who has a dark history with Duergar, who is also just righteous in general obvi because he’s a paladin) lose their crap and storm off toward the Duergar without a thought. I think Lingkh stopped himself and realized it was too dangerous, but Torgga was not going to stop and the rest of us were not going to let her engage with these peeps because who knows how many more of them, besides the 9 Torvin found, were out and about. So we grab her and drag her back. She’s way too sober to be okay about it, but we convince her to hold out for a while and that we would find a way later to free some of the slaves.

You might think that this would be the end of this session- no no no. We never get out without a fight! How else will we level up??

Seven Drow find us as we are walking through a creepy place with mushrooms and slime all over the ground, and spider traps everywhere as well. Apparently the Drow train spiders and put them in holes in the ground with sneaky webs around so that once they’re touched the spider come out and eat you. Creeps. Torvin lets us know that we must must must kill every last one of these Drow or even worse things will happen.

The Drow somehow roll a 20 for initiative...lol and we begin the fight!

BTW: I finally figured out in this moment that I am supposed to add a +5 to all my spell attacks- did not do that last time. It gave me so much hope.

Rael misses her attacks for the first three turns~ boooooooooooo. But I did do a lot of sliding down into the mushrooms and shrubbery stuff, so I didn’t get hurt for a long time. Smooth, eh?? 

Some noteworthy battle happenings:

-Ara goes invisible and tries to run away but slips haha

-Mal turns to run somewhere and also slips haha

-In my mind I really was yelling all sorts of Elvish curses at these Drow, even when I missed my attacks haha

-Turns out that Drow are more easily taken down that ogres- thank goodness for that

-Lingkh, as always, very courageously throws his trident of glory- but it hit the ground instead of a Drow haha

-Mal kills a Drow, Torvin kills a Drow, I kill 3 (hehe), idk about the others

-Ara, very tired, at one point said “I HAVE PRE-DESTINATION” and we all yelled back at her “IT’S PRESTIDIGITATION”! Bwahahahaha!!!

-Lingkh and Torvin both got poisoned, Torvin almost died- but Ara ‘russian figure-skated’ in the slime over to him to save him

-We win, and some of us level up :D

There were probably so many other great things happening- but this is what I remember :) Aahh, all that slipping and sliding- good times. 

And actually...one of Ara’s greatest weaknesses is that she can’t resist a pretty face...I know that Drow are not as pretty as normal Elves, but they are probably still pretty...right??? Hmm...that’s going to keep me up at night.

I knew this was coming. I knew and I still wasn’t prepared for how long it is TuT I’m assuming it’s the FFXV, as well, since we’re on that train~Under a read more cause.. it’s long..

1: What’s your OCs favorite color?

~~ Kylia doesn’t really have a favorite color; she enjoys pretty much all of them. However, she is drawn more frequently to darker colors, such as charcoal grey, navy, maroons. If she absolutely had to pick, it would be a midnight blue shade.

2: Where does your OC work?

~~ Work??? She doesn’t exactly work too much, seeing as she’s the crown Princess of Lucis. However, locations would be the Citadel or the palace most often.

3: What’s your OCs favorite food?

~~ She absolutely adores spicy foods over most others. A close second would be creamier pasta dishes such as Caem Shrimp Scampi or Creamy Cockatrice over Angel Hair. In general she really enjoys food, but those things she prefers the most.

4: Does your OC prefer paper or plastic?

~~ She will always choose paper over plastic if given the option, as she’s very passionate about environmental efforts. 

     Bonus: She checks all the packaging and product labels for things she uses to make sure she recycles what she can. She is currently in the middle of establishing an environmental program to keep Lucis and its coastlines clean.

5: How old is your OC?

~~ Pre-fall, she is 19 years old, just on the edge of turning 20. She was conceived not long after Noctis was born; if someone didn’t know her, they would think she was older by how mature she is for her age.

6: Does your OC have any supernatural powers?

~~ She can do everything like her brother: warp ability (though she’s still working on it; currently it makes her feel a bit sick after six or seven attempts), weapon summoning (though she never uses it outside of training), and the ability to wear the Ring of the Lucii. However, while she can wear it without any harm to herself, she isn’t able to harness its power. Whether she will with time is unknown.

7: Is your OC in a relationship?

~~ By normal standards, no. However, she is arranged to be married to the Prince of Tenebrae, Ravus Nox Fleuret. She has no negative feelings on the matter, and is actually somewhat pleased and happy to be marrying the Prince (it makes it easier that they already know eachother, she muses). While she wouldn’t have planned that for herself, she is still content with the decision.

      Another bonus: When she was 16, she had a secret and brief (as in 7 months) long relationship with Nyx Ulric [this is based on the common headcannon that during Kingsglaive Nyx is about 25 or 26]. The whole thing was rather fast, but they both felt very passionately for each other. They ended it, though, for a few different reasons, but still remain very close friends to this day.

8: What are some of your OCs strengths?

~~ Though she may not look it, for her stature she is rather strong (all of her training has paid off greatly). She is rather fast, and she is quite good at hiding in places. She has an excellent long-term memory, recalling things in the distant past with ease. She considers herself to be very skilled with her lance and circle blades, but she wishes to one day wield a sword. She has excellent natural handwriting, but she doesn’t really see it. She has quick wit and is kind to a fault, causing her to be a very forgiving and trusting individual.

9: What are some of your OCs weaknesses? 

~~ Many of her strengths are some her biggest weaknesses as well; she was raised very sheltered, so she hasn’t had many of the experiences other people her age have had. While her long-term memory is impeccable, her short-term memory is…. well, not. She is quite stubborn, and has a tendency to act without thinking in times of great emotional stress. She doesn’t have the best control of her emotions. Like her brother, she can forget who is she is to the people of Lucis, acting much unlike a princess at times, often doing things that most people wouldn’t blink an eye at (but when you’re the princess, sometimes that shit doesn’t fly). While she is stupidly kind and generous, she does have her moments of disdain, bringing out her sharp tongue and sarcastic behavior. Her forgiving and trusting nature can make her be taken advantage of. She has social and generalized anxiety, which she tries to keep hidden and taken care of [the only people who know are her father, Trinity, Noctis, Nyx, and Ignis]. She is ridiculously hopeless around men she finds attractive; she becomes a blabbering, blushing mess and has once or twice had miniature fainting spells from not being able to handle herself around them *cue Ignis anywhere near her*

10: What is your OCs favorite outfit?

~~ When she isn’t dressed in lavish ball gowns and formal business wear for meeting various dignitaries, she enjoys wearing whatever either makes her most comfortable or feel good and confident. So that’s either loungewear or a long ombre dress, which many common people would almost call a formal gown.

11: What animal does your OC relate to?

~~ Kylia is an avid animal lover (minus most rodents), but has never really tried or thought about what her spirit animal would be, though many around her have likened her to a doe.

12: Is your OC sexually active?

~~ Depends what you consider sexually active. Is it with another person? No. By herself? Sometimes. She has very little experience with sex, as she was raised very sheltered and taught to save herself for her future husband. She knows the basics of it, and how to stay safe (all from books that Trinity [ @trinitythatcher ‘s OC] lent her), but she has never had any intercourse with anyone, her virginity still in tact. The most that has ever happened with her has been hands and fingers.

      Another another bonus (mentions of NSFW): While she has thus far saved herself for marriage, she personally wouldn’t mind if she lost her V-card to someone she truly loved, and who she was sure loved her back.                  Back when her and Nyx were dating, the furthest they got was him fingering her and blessing her with those magical digits of his, his hand just slipping into her panties beneath her dress on her 17th birthday, to which she eagerly returned with a handjob. That was her very first orgasm, and she was and still is very grateful to him for coaxing her through it with gentle words and kisses.

~~ Her and Noctis’ mother died when she was 5 years old. Despite her dying with Kylia so young, Kylia has a very vivid memory of her mother brushing her hair and humming gentle melodies while Noctis and her colored on her bed. She often dreams of this memory, which always results in her waking up in a good mood.

14: Does your OC have a cell phone? If so, what kind?

~~ She does have a cell phone; it is just like Noctis’, or rather Noctis’ is just like hers, seeing as he got it ‘coincidentally’ not long after she got hers. The only person she ever calls on it is Noctis and her father, due to her anxiety about calling people. Everyone else she texts.

15: What makes your OC angry?

~~ There are actually quite a lot of things, but what gets to her the most is injustice/unfairness. She values the facts and the truth of things, and will not let things rest until they’ve been sorted out properly. This is especially true when it comes to her people. Many of her politics and foreign matters tutors have had to listen to her rant about fictional scenarios of politics in their lessons. They say that if she were not the Princess, she wouldn’t be out of place as a lawyer.

16: When is your OCs favorite time of year?

~~ Kylia loves autumn; she loves the color changing of the leaves, she loves the cold nippiness in the air, she loves the rainy days, the warm baked goods, the comfy clothes. She loves all of it.

17: How long can your OC hold their breath?

~~ 33 seconds on the dot.

18: What kind of underwear does your OC wear?

~~ This girl wears a lot of different kinds of underwear depending on her mood. More often than not, she wears the hipster kind for everyday, but best believe there’s some cute ass print or some frills somewhere on them. She likes briefs for when she’s just chilling, and has eight different sets of lingerie for special occasions.

19: Does your OC prefer plaid or polka dots?

~~ She likes both depending on where they’re at.

20: What’s your OCs favorite kind of pizza?

~~ When she can have one, she likes her pizza a certain way: grilled chicken, green bell peppers, and extra cheese, regular crust. She is a crust girl through and through, and will eat anyone else’s that they don’t want.

21: Who is your OCs best friend?

~~ Without a doubt, it will always be her advisor, Trinity Lasitene. They have been close throughout most of her life, and have confided in each other their deepest and darkest thoughts and secrets. There is no one who could ever take her place. If she was forced to choose someone else, it would be either her brother, Noctis, or Nyx, with Lunafreya not far behind.

22: Has your OC ever killed someone?

~~ Has she— that’s hilarious. She’s the Princess of Lucis. Let that answer the question. Hint: never.

23: Whats your OCs biggest secret?

~~ She has two, the first and not as big being that she has quite the attraction to her brother’s advisor, a mister Ignis Scientia. It isn’t her absolute biggest secret, as quite a lot of the staff can tell that she fancies him if they are ever near one another.      However, her biggest secret is her secret relationship with Nyx those years ago. The only people who know are her, Nyx, and Trinity. Nobody else.

24: What does your OC smell like?

~~ Like crisp apples and jasmine, somehow fruity, sweet, and floral all at once. As long as she likes the scent, she will wear it, but that seems to be her regular smell.

25: What time of year does your OC prefer?

~~ There isn’t any particular part of the year she prefers; she just knows she doesn’t like June to August.

26: Is your OC a human or an animal? (or something else idk) 

~~ A human, of course.

27: What languages does your OC speak?

~~ She can speak a few languages, seeing as she has been tutored in such. She can speak LSL (Lucian Sign Language), TSL (Tenebraen Sign Language), regular Lucian, and Galahdian.

28: Does your OC like anime?

~~ Though she doesn’t have a whole lot of time to devote to it, she is a fan of it, and has some merchandise from her absolute favorites. She likes being able to escape her day to day life every once in a while through it. There have been several occurrences of her and Trinity having anime night and pajama parties.

29: Can your OC swim?

~~ Yes, and rather well, at that. However, she prefers floating on her back and looking up at the sky.

30: What does your OC choose to do about the, er, hair down there?

~~ Considering she has no one she needs to impress with it, she doesn’t do a whole lot with it. She trims and gets a regular bikini wax from Trinity, but no more than that. 

31: Does your OC believe in fairies? 

~~ Amazingly, not really. She’ll visit the idea every now and then, but overall she doesn’t have a strong belief in them.

32: Did your OC go to college? What did they major in?

~~ She wasn’t allowed to go to public school with her brother, thus leading her to be tutored at the Citadel by the best. Quite a few of her lessons have been held at the Lucis Royal Academy, and she makes excellent grades. She is only two months away from graduating with top marks.

33: Are your OCs parents dead? 

~~ Her mother passed away when she was 5 years old. Poor Papa Regis doesn’t have much longer though…

~~ Kylia prefers to drink tea, especially at night before bed. However, she takes interest in coffee due to Ignis’ love of Ebony, and recently tried cafe au lait and enjoyed it thoroughly, although Trinity wasn’t so pleased. She has a hint of a feeling that Trinity and Ignis have made it a game between them to see who’s side her Highness leans towards that day.

~~ Though it may sound a little cheesy and typical, it is 100% true. Her biggest hero is her father, King Regis himself. She admires how steadfast he is for his people, how brave and kind and generous he is, and how loving and loyal he is to her and Noctis. She has always been a daddy’s girl.

~~ She has cool hazel eyes that lean a bit more green, similar to her father’s. When they catch the sunlight, though, the color is as if a peridot and a topaz combined into one.

I would like in season 8 for Daryl to finally show his feelings for carol instead of her doing all the work, grow a pair of balls and make a move instead of her. She gone thru enough. He needs to man up.

Beats the shit out of a guy for threatening Carol’s life24. Goes off to find her even though he’s wanted by The Saviors25. Allows her to hug him even though he’s hurting and wanting answers for why she left26. LIES FOR HER to protect her27. When he is about to leave her, he goes back for a second hug where he not only allows Carol to have her hands in his hair, nuzzling him and breathing him in, he hugs back and puts his head in her shoulder in RESPONSE to her grabbing his hair. Both of them participated in that hug. Daryl only broke them off because the first time, he wanted answers rightfully so and the second time, the longer he stayed, the longer he put off leaving, the harder it was, the harder it was going to be if he kept lingering.Obviously I am sure I missed some but here’s 27 instances Daryl showed his love for Carol all throughout the seasons. Daryl HAS shown his love for her. Daryl was abused as a child. Physical contact did not come easy for him, understandably so. Nobody, literally NOBODY can touch me without me flinching or verging a panic attack because I too, was, am abused. I know how damn hard it is to become comfortable with anything physical. Yet he has shown Carol love through physical contact. The hugs for example, most of which have been initiated by DARYL.In my opinion, Carol’s feelings for Daryl have been ambiguous as of late EXCEPT! For Episode 10 in Season 7. We have not seen Carol showing love for him since 5B. And I understand why. The point isn’t me dragging Carol, the point is me expressing how ridiculous I feel it is to say that Daryl needs to show his feelings for her when he has been showing his feelings. Granted, I don’t think Daryl was in love with her in Season 2, but I do believe the romantic love was there in Season 4, definitely Season 5, and most obviously in Season 7, mainly Episode 10. Whether whoever agrees with me or not is up to them.I don’t get or understand your comment about Daryl making a move first. Carol is just as capable of making the first move as Daryl is. Carol can easily do that, too. It’s a two way street. Why does he have to make the first move? Daryl has gone through watching a woman he was becoming friends with (Denise) get killed by his crossbow, he was shot, he had to watch Abraham and Glenn get their heads bashed in, not to mention Glenn was like his BROTHER and he feels at fault for his death, he was taken and TORTURED at The Sanctuary, forced to eat dog food sandwiches, beaten, forced to look at a Polaroid of Glenn’s bashed in head. Daryl has gone through enough just as well. While Carol had SOME sort of peace in solitary (she was not being tortured) and was eating ACTUAL food, Daryl was suffering IMMENSELY and eating dog food. I’m not undermining the struggles Carol was going through because she obviously was but let’s not downplay what Daryl has gone through in Season 7 alone. So, yeah. Daryl has shown his love. We shouldn’t just expect Daryl to make the first move because Carol is also a capable human being and they both have gone through hell and back. If there’s one thing we can agree on, it’s that both of them deserve peace, happiness, love, calm with eachother. Those two deserve it MORE than anyone else under the sun at this point.EDIT:* In Strangers, Daryl forgets he’s carrying two water jugs and offers to carry one of Carol’s and ends up dropped one of his own, which leads to a very beautiful smile from Carol. Nobody Got a Happy Ending

I was satisfied to a point with the season finale yesterday that I didn’t want to complain because all I wanted was some kind of happy ending, a beautiful defan scene and a Damon and elena final interaction whatever it may have been and that’s what I got. But the more you think about the final, the more you rewatch gifs and scenes and the more interviews come out. The more you release that no body got any happy ending on this show and we really all just got fucked over one last time.

-Although it seemed as if we left the love triangle in season 4, Stefan had moved forward and Damon finally had his shot at happiness, even though he stabbed his brother in the back to get there. The writers have confirmed in a whole lottttta interviews straight after the finale episode that the Damon and Elena ending we got was not the ending THEY wanted and would have written. So they made a beautiful ending for a part of a fandom only to rip away the whole thing by releasing statements suggesting the couple was never meant to be together and if they had the time Stefan and Elena would have ended up together. Not only is this a slap in the face to Damon and Elena fans but also to Stefan and Elena fans while also stripping away Elena’s character by suggesting once she’d had her fill of Damon she would return and have a happy ever after with Stefan like nothing had happened.

-Stelena fans got a beautiful scene which was well deserved but also lucked out as the writers again have confirmed Stefan and Elena would have been together but ultimately it didn’t happen, teasing their whole relationship making that side of the fandom hopeful for an explanation and a story line that is never going to come. Even though the writers have said that this couple would have ended up together I do not believe they would have done anything differently and even if Nina had stayed on the show Damon and Elena would have still ended up at the same place as it was set up since the beginning. So that leaves Stefan and Elena fans being trolled by the writers as they didn’t get any happy end and Elena was more interested in if Damon was “okay” then the concept of Stefan dying as usual so they threw them a bone quickly by saying oh but we would have had Stefan and Elena together hoping they would be satisfied to some extent. Which then gets rid of three years of story lines and leaves the stelena fandom without a proper ending.

-Steroline fans were put through the ringer, given a beautiful ending and then it was just destroyed in the matter or 5 minutes even though all the writers and actors seemed loved Stefan and Caroline together apparently the ratings of the originals is more important.

-Bamon fans were played since the end of season 5 and forced to stay in hopes the thin line the writers had created between friendship and something more was crossed between these two characters even though the writers had no intention ever exploring these two in a romantic way. It also didn’t help that Ian was lashing out at Nina and Kat also seemed like it was appropriate to weigh in on everything Ian Somerhalder related. Giving fans false hope and creating some kind of forced but also natural friend chemistry between actors to try and push for Bamon, which would have destroyed everything Damon had done on the show previously and everything bonnie stands for just because Ian didn’t want scenes with Nina anymore.

-The actors on this show have never been any type of professional whether it be online, at conventions, just talking about the show in interviews or with their treatment of eachother. You could tell for a while now the actors just wanted the show to end and more than anything they wanted out and away from eachother. Ian and Nina destroyed any type of beautiful delena scene with their horrible acting and just treatment of eachother away from the show. The more you rewatch all the Damon and Elena scenes in the final the more you also released not only was Nina and Ian’s scenes acted out terribly with little to no emotion but you can literally see that they are not even really kissing when reuniting and Ian lips are on her chin in a way lots of actors kiss to make the illusion of a passionate makeout session without actually having to kiss. The cast in general not only let the fans down when it came to celebrating the show but also respecting ships, respecting eachother and honouring the final episode by celebrating the end and giving the fans some kind of closer after we spent the last 8 years with them giving them and many others the jobs and opportunity to even be on this show by being invested in this show. Instead we got cast drama, cast breakups, the main character killed off for a couple years, no final Damon, Stefan and Elena photo? And years of interviews disrespecting fans and disrespecting every ship that has ever been on the show.

-The writers destroyed any development in the storyline between season 7 and 8 bringing everything back to before Elena died and before Katherine went to hell just to include both of them in the final episode. So all couples, character development and growth was literally for nothing and thrown out the window the second the writers saw the opportunity. As they stripped Damon’s character down again making him ass whipped over Elena to the point he left all his friends and family which was very unrealistic at this point in the story, they also destroyed Stefans character to give a mediocre ending to the story, they left Caroline alone after years and years of different boyfriends and children to just sit back and watch everyone die, they left bonnie alone again with the love of her life just being killed for shock value and to redeem Stefan which was every unnecessary, they turned alarics character into one that was loved by all to one I found myself wanting to kill every episode the show continued, they just killed Tyler completely for no reason and matt was given a shit ending, hardly any screen time and some hardly believable bullshit about his parents having some kind of supernatural influence on the town.

All in all we all got fucked over for maybe 4 out of the 8 years we watched this show. Not one ship got the happy ending any of us deserved, there wasn’t really a happy ending at all just a hot mess of trying to fit as many characters into the last episode as possible. While also trying to developed a story that was completely rushed and in the end made no sense. Left stefan dead for no reason? Left bonnie defying Kai’s rules when there was apparently no way to before? Left no couple together but Damon and Elena but the ripped that away saying if there was more time they would change that ending and then just added a bunch of sad music and then just….left us.

I have never been so disappointed in the way a show has treated it’s fan base and I don’t think I’ll ever be this disappointed again. I hope this is a lesson to all long running tv shows in the future what not to do to leave everyone unsatisfied, confused and heartbroken. These character were so beautiful and deserved so much better, as fans we also deserved better and I severely hope that the writers and actors look back on these past 8 years and release how much they fucked up what could have been the most iconic show on television by now giving it the title of that show that had 3 good seasons.

I don’t think Dina is dead- because when you go to the Ellie Cosplay guide for outbreak day, it says the bracelet is a GIFT from Dina. She couldn’t have given it to her if she was dead, unless this is just a typo in the cosplay guide. What are your thoughts?

OKAY now you have gone and done it! You’ve got me THINKING and creating THEORIES. I don’t like it one bit! However, now that someone has actually asked what my thoughts are, I couldn’t help but start doing some research and looking into interviews and articles about the demo.. so.. here are my thoughts. Don’t forget you asked for it.

(also I’m sorry for any grammar or spelling mistakes it’s like 3am as I write this)

Let’s start with what we know for sure.

1. Ellie and Joel’s relationship has been strained. Not so strained though that they don’t watch movies together. But strained enough that Dina asks if Ellie and Joel are cool with each other.

2. The scenario surrounding the scene where Joel comes up behind Ellie and declares he is helping her, is not actually about Ellie’s revenge mission. It’s got to do with Tommy being in trouble with the WLF. The event that causes the revenge mission has not yet happened. As is explained in the article I linked in the first point. So we don’t actually know for sure yet that the tragic event has nothing to do with Joel because the only footage we’ve seen of him so far (from recent updates) is before this event. So we can’t say for certain it’s not his death that fuels this angered revenge mission to take out the WLF. (and we can’t be 100% sure that it’s actually joel in the 2016 reveal trailer, even if it sounds like him. wHICH I KNOW sounds really stupid but just bear with me here)

3. Dina gives Ellie a bracelet of protection some time before Ellie goes to help Tommy, therefore sometime before the tragic event, because she is wearing it while fighting with the WLF in the demo.

4. The stair scene where Ellie says “please, stop” happens during winter. In the reveal trailer, in the scene just before Ellie goes down the stairs, she has snow on her. And it’s safe to say the stair scene and the house scene are connected because she’s wearing the exact same thing. So that scene can’t have anything to do with ellie and joel’s mission to save Tommy because it’s not snowy and she’s not wearing the same thing either.

5. Tommy is alive after the big event with the WLF because Ellie says to him in the new trailer ‘so they just get to get away with this?’

However!! In the 2016 E3 reveal trailer, it’s not snowy. So either the tragic event happens right at the end of winter and Ellie doesn’t leave for her revenge mission until winter is practically over. OR the ‘please, stop’ scene has nothing to do with the tragic event, OR is a lead up to the event but is not what tips ellie over the edge.

OR we start in winter where everything with ellie is fine, the bad thing happens, and then we circle back around to winter where more bad shit happens.

There are seriously so many possibilities at this point.

It's hard to say for sure which one is most likely. Here are some theories I am working on:

Should probably note that I’m focusing on what the possibilities are towards what causes Ellie’s anger and not really who might die and when.

1.   I’m not 100% sure whether it is Joel who dies and that’s what fuels the revenge mission or not. If it wasn’t for the tlou2 2016 reveal trailer when Ellie declares she’s going to hunt every last one of them down then I would probably say that yeah Joel dies. But I’ve been watching it over and over and I’m fairly ure that is Joel and not Tommy. This isn’t to say he doesn’t die later on AFTER the revenge mission. If Joel does die by the way, I think this is where the winter loop would come in. See if we have two seasons of winter in this game, then we could speculate the ‘please, stop’ scene happens in the second winter and is Joel’s death scene. This seems a little unlikely though, because in that scene Ellie has a graze on her right cheek, this same graze appears in the scene she has with Tommy. And the scene with tommy most likely happens right after the tragic event because she is still in Jackson County which means she hasn’t left on her mission yet. Which just doesn’t line up at all. 

2. Everybody dies! I mean it’s very possible that the WLF doesn’t hurt anyone in particular and instead attacks all of Jackson county. Maybe it happens while Ellie is out on a trip, and she comes back to find almost everybody has been slaughtered. This would suggest that the please, stop scene is not the tragic event and is just a lead up to it. Which would be a good reason why Ellie is hell bent on killing “Every last one of them” instead of just those that committed the deed. Tommy also says in the newest trailer that Ellie leaving would leave JC vulnerable. Why would one person leaving make them vulnerable?.... Unless their resources are already depleted?

3. Let’s talk a little more about the ‘please, stop’ scene. It’s possible that nothing tragic happens in this scene at all. We don’t see Ellie scream out that gut wrenching ‘NO’. So it could be from an entirely different scene. And instead, Ellie and her companion manage to get free. This would make for a nice lead up into how Tommy gets in trouble with the WLF. See, let’s say Ellie and Dina are out on a trip, they run into trouble with WLF and they almost do something terrible to Dina. Thankfully, Dina and Ellie get free and go home where Ellie tells Tommy about what happens. Maybe Ellie says things have to be y’know “dealt with” but Tommy is set on doing things civilly and goes and tries to talk to the WLF. Ellie knows better though so she goes after him. This would match up well with the seasons and make sense with the snowy and not snowy scenes. Then while Joel and Ellie are trying to save Tommy, either Joel dies or Jackson County is attacked.

4.  Dina dies! So this is the leading theory apparently. A lot of people have argued against this though and said it’s just misdirection. I agree with this, not because there’s really any evidence suggesting Dina doesn’t die but because of all the hidden clues trying to make us think that she will. It’s a classic advertising technique amongst story telling media. ‘Make the audience think something bad will happen to capture their attention but don’t give away what bad thing is actually going to happen.’ NaughtyDog knows how to advertise! It would be a rookie mistake to heavily imply Dina will die IF Dina actually dies in-game! Why would you give that major plot point away? It’s too obvious. Of course they haven’t actually said ‘Dina dies!’ either because lying to the audience is also another rookie mistake. Instead the do things like the 2018 e3 gameplay trailer. In the trailer you see a shot of Ellie and Dina right after they kiss, the camera pans in for a close up of Dina’s bracelet and then pans out to reveal Ellie wearing the bracelet and killing someone. This carries Dina through to next scene, implying that she has something to do with that scene, when she really doesn’t. Source: the 5 years of media studies courses I took. Also, if the ‘please, stop’ scene is what causes the revenge mission, then dina definitely doesn’t die in that scene because we see her comforting Ellie after. (Again, could be misdirection)

 Most of this was written before the promo pics... So let’s revise a little. The promo pics show ellie has the cut on her cheek and chin in the non-winter scenes with joel AND the winter scenes (supposedly) after the ‘no please stop’ scenes so this creates like another couple dozen possible timelines and I’m tired.

I don’t think dina dying is what is actually happening in that heartbreaking scene. I think it’s more likely that it’s got to do with joel and not dina. However, there are so many different possible timelines so I can’t say for certain. My gut is telling me though that joel dies at some point in this game (I SO desperately hope that I’m wrong though oh my god please let me be wrong I’m begging). For a second it looks like he’s in a scene with ellie while she’s banged up and wearing the grey hoodie but I just noticed that it cuts between the two scenes and isn’t a pan away so they might not actually be connected.

There are so many possibilities right now. We aren’t going to know for sure until we play it. (if joel dies though we ride at dawn)

I probably missed information or even interpreted some info differently to you so everyone and anyone is free to add their opinions and theories onto to this just please be respectful of eachother. Theories where Joel doesn’t die are also heavily encouraged (please, please give me some hope).
