Literally, "consent matters", "boundaries are boundaries", and "no means no" seem to only apply to white people.
Every time people of color tell white people "no", it's negotiable. Every time people of color try to keep white people from taking things that belong to us and our ancestors only, what we have to say doesn't count. All that ever matters are white people's thoughts and feelings, because when it comes to agency and autonomy, we aren't entitled to them, since really, we aren't actually people.

good morning. on the subject of how i handle inappropriate tumblr interactions, this morning i was treated to a comment on one of my posts by the worst kind of person. i'm not gonna go into detail bc it involved mask-off white supremacy that's pretty upsetting. i chose not to respond publicly bc it would give them what they want And be especially upsetting for my friends of color. so instead i scrolled through the blog to see how much hate speech there was, & then i submitted a detailed report to tumblr staff about how the blog violated both the hate speech And terrorism policies. (because..... uh.... it did.)
just blocking people in cases like this is totally fine, given that looking at their posts tends to be upsetting. however i am possessed by a desire to commit violent atrocities at any given moment, & putting together detailed hate speech reports helps soothe that urge. if i didn't do Anything, i'd be angry and fantasizing about murder all day. as is, i'm satisfied to have hopefully murdered their blog & made them feel just a little more oppressed, and now i'm gonna move on with my day.
developing this skill is essential if you have a space where you regularly interact with online strangers. i Highly encourage you guys to take a similar approach when you encounter reactionary trolls who want to be suicide baited.
now i'm gonna go have breakfast!

Also just as an fyi using "norse" as a collective term for current-day nordic or scandinavian people and languages is both incorrect and also, notably, a very common narrative in white supremacist and neonazi communities so like. I'm not saying anyone's inherently a bad person for this but it might be worth having a think about why this is the word used okay thank you 😊

I do, in fact, hold the Jewish community collectively responsible for Zionists.
Individually? Of course not. Anti Zionist Jews exist as individuals. Many individuals are shut out of their own religious community, especially those of colour.
But as a community where Zionism is so socially and institutionally entrenched that the minority of dissenters are disowned and ostracized?
The global community of which only a handful of organisations openly advocate for Palestine, and even most of those paternalistic and co-opting Palestnian voices with liberal Zionist sympathies?
The western majority that institutionally benefits from white colonization and imperialism and silences its non-Jewish Black and brown critics?
The same majority that will never own their privilege or culpability or complicity in the colonial project before and after the Holocaust?
That helped the West exceptionalize it to cover up their exponentially larger and more enduring colonial crimes?
That distanced themselves from their white colonial privilege at the expense of BIPOC by insisting theirs was not a religious marginalization but a racial one, and continues to punish us for not treating them as racially oppressed?
Whose very demand to be automatically exonerated from the Palestinian genocide is reflective of their white and Western privilege?
That successfully broke the ties Jews of colour have to their own racial communities through Israeli ethnic cleansing and Zionist propaganda?
That uses JoC as shields, tokens and weapons against all the above charges?
The JoC that have purchased the privileges of Zionism and enfranchised themselves by betraying their own races?
The community that has used the charge of antisemitism to police Black and brown folks for decades, making it a knife against our necks?
I absolutely, 100% blame the global Jewish community.
The Global South will not forget. We will not forgive. All people with white skinned European descent are our oppressors. All people nourished on the teat of the imperial core are the foot soldiers of white supremacy, no matter what their race. We owe you no exoneration.

Omfg I get asked to be on a lot of panels and be a reviewer for a lot of opportunities like fellowships, commissions, awards, etc. I usually say yes because I use that positional privilege to move Natives, artists of color, and other marginalized people through such a white system. And to also be a roadblock for awful white people.
And that is exactly what I had to do today.
A white man submitted an item of their work that was aggressively racist. I shouldn't go into detail, but it was JAW DROPPINGLY BAD AGAINST BLACK AND NATIVE PEOPLE. Also it was written by a famous person, and I was so mad that he has just gotten whatever he wanted because he's a white man who people know.
I scored his ENTIRE application as a 1.8 out of 20.
Bitch ain't getting this opportunity 🔪

"deradicalization is best achieved through kindness and acceptance because many radicals feel alienated for one reason or another" and "someone who is hurt by radical beliefs has zero obligation to be kind to someone who holds those beliefs" are two facts that can and should coexist btw
#marzi speaks#this isn't inspired by anything. i'm just reading a paper and thinking abt other stuff i've read/seen. i guess it's inspired in that sense#but like no specific event has occurred to make me write this post it just. happened in my brain#like. my brother fell into that like andrew tate/'self improvement' youtube channel rabbithole a couple years ago#and he's finally starting to come out of it bc my family refused to let that be his only source of input#(thankfully he kept talking to us abt it)#so we were able to tell him that no he is worthy of love and respect as a human being regardless of whatever labels he applies to himself#which kept him from self-loathing his way into total misogyny#but also. when he was really in that shit sometimes he would spout some bullshit! and i did not tolerate it#now i had the most freedom to get mad at my brother without him taking it super personally bc. he's my brother#he has a thing abt authority and bc we're equals he'll actually respond to me better#so we would argue. and all that. and i'm glad we did#bc like. just because i love my brother and i want to see him be happy does not mean i have to let him spout horrible bigoted bullshit#obvs this is a specific example. but it also applies to things like white supremacy groups or fash groups#like yes. showing kindness to these people is the best way to help them heal from these harmful ideologies#but also! holy shit nobody (especially no person of color) is obligated to sit down a KKK member and explain to them why racism bad#yanno?

The "pagans were one big happy family who loved one another before Christianity" crowd will be asked if they remember that an entire eastern half of the earth has always existed and no, they do not remember.

Honestly, I didn't expect my spur of the moment post would catch so much fire. All I did was call out the hypocrites who think it's funny to make fun of someone dying, regardless of who it is.
I wasn't even taking a political stand but people decided to assume that about me. That is messed up. None of you know what my political beliefs are, yet you're accusing me of things without any grounds for it.
Long story short. I don't owe you an apology, because I have done nothing wrong. I don't owe you an explanation, because I have not actually said anything. I can't stop you from the mob mentality of jumping to conclusions, but if you have a speck of brain cell left, you will know that there are 2 sides to every argument.
Blindly believing in one side over the other...you know who else did this very thing? Nazi Germany. Stalin and his Socialist Party. Trump and his supporters. The list goes on, but these are (hopefully) recognizable to some of you.
Read my original post again if you still don't understand. Other than that, in this technological day and age of endless scrolling on social media and shortened human attention spans, I can't say I'm not too surprised that the reading comprehension skills of the newer generation has severely declined over the years.
This is Johnny Tightlips, and my final say on this matter. Any more questions/comments about the late queen/my original post will be unread, but like I said earlier - go ahead and keep circle jerking to it if that's your thing.
P.S - To my old and new followers... unfortunately I'm unable to follow back all of you and I had to disable private messages for now due to death threats. So I apologize in advance if you're unable to send me any messages or if I don't rp back with you. Temporary setback. I'm not blocking you, I promise! ♡
If you're following me just to send me hate messages, well madonn'... don't you have anything better to do with your time? 🤣
Peace, bitchez 😎

Okay let's try this again.
Treating Dick Grayson, blue-eyed white guy created white and treated white by canon for 80 years except for one weird racist storyline that's never been referred to since, as canonically a Person of Colour, is racist as fuck.
And no, he doesn't qualify as a white-passing character because white-passing PoC engage in Othered non-white cultural practices and have stakes in and interact with non-white communities. They also tend to have Othered or racialized features. None of which Dick is shown to have in canon. Nothing about Dick represents brown people in canon.
Race is a heritage of grief and alienation. Stop slapping race labels on white characters and shoving them down our throats.

My mom is obsessed with this new rap song that she calls "The Unifying Song." It's a white guy... singing about how white people and cis people are victims... I just... I... Tell me you're a white supremacist who victimizes themself without telling me you're a white supremacist who victimizes themself.

So I just had a disagreement with someone irl about this. And it’s happened often enough that I felt it needed to be said here too. To give context I am white, raised in an environment with Christian values but not *strict* Christianity, and American. I identify as an Atheist but acknowledge that my cultural background can still affect my perspective. Now let’s put that aside for a moment so I can say that If you lump all world religions in with Christianity and think it’s all equally bad than please don’t follow me.
Hating Christianity is all well and good if you have religious trauma. I am not contesting that. I will NEVER contest that. FUCK evangelical Christianity.
I’ve also gotten into arguments with people about how their trauma isn’t an excuse to hate ALL religions. I’ve met at least three people in person who used their trauma as an excuse to lump all world cultures into one box with a crucifix on top of it, douse it in kerosine, and throw a lit match. The rest never even had any trauma related to Christianity that I know of. They just took a minimum effort Hollywood atheist stance. Everyone I’ve ever talked to about religion who says that want to tear down ALL religious practice because it’s a “primitive and harmful mindset” just sounded like another sneering colonialist. Most of them were white and were saying that the religious sites of natives should be torn down to “protect the environment” without a shred of irony or self awareness.
It’s not my business to say which religions people can like or dislike, but if it’s not a religion you were raised within the cultural context of, you have a bare minimum responsibility to at least learn the basics of what that religion is about and how to recognize the effect that your own cultural context has on your views. BEFORE you come to an opinion about whether that religion should still be practiced. And then remind yourself that your opinion doesn’t override the opinions of the countless other people who have their own freedoms so long as they don’t harm others. If they’re not objectively hurting anyone you shouldn’t tell them not to practice.

Kanye West Causes KKKomotion With 'White Lives Matter' Shirt
Calculated clickbait bootlickers Kanye and Candace Owens are making headlines again for sporting ridiculous KKKommotion-causing t-shirts.

This time instead of the “Blexit” tees that Kanye designed for Owens before distancing himself from them, Ye and his sunken sibling sported “White Lives Matter” shirts during his surprise Yeezy season 9 fashion show.
Variety reports that Kanye wore the design Monday before kicking off the runway portion of the night while referencing several topics.
Related Stories
They add that he did not clarify or give attention to his use of the “White Lives Matter” slogan that’s been reactionarily used by white supremacist groups and far-right organizations in response to the Black Lives Matter movement.
At least one Black model wore a “White Lives Matter” shirt as well.
The sunken shirt controversy comes after Kanye previously sported a MAGA hat in support of [now-defunct] Oxidized Orange Juice in Office, Donald Trump.
In 2020, he told Forbes that he no longer backed Trump…
“I am taking the red hat off, with this interview,” he told the publication at the time. “One of the main reasons I wore the red hat as a protest to the segregation of votes in the Black community. Also, other than the fact that I like Trump hotels and the saxophones in the lobby.”
but while on Drink Champs in November of 2021 he changed his stance.
“I’ve still got a red hat on today, I’ll let y’all know that,” said Kanye.
Celebs React To Kanye’s “White Lives Matter” Shirt
As you can imagine, people are rightfully pretty pissed at Ye’s latest shenanigans…
and he’s being blasted by the likes of Jaden Smith and even Lil Boosie.
What are YOUR thoughts on Kanye and his favorite Dorito Dusted Deplorable wearing “White Lives Matter” shirts?
