you were doing your homework so you didn't even notice you swatted his hands away. he shrugs and walks away from you.

you eventually follow him to the room and see him sitting on the bed, arms crossed and staring blankly at the floor.

"hee? what are you doing?"

"i'm sorry." he says standing up and grabbing both your hands. he gives each a peck.

"what are you sorry for? what's happening?" you're honestly very confused.

"i don't know, but whatever it is that made you upset, i'm sorry." he says. you're still so confused making you tilt your head.

"what do you mean upset? i'm not upset"

"i was about to hug you earlier but you swatted my arms away."

school was being a bitch on your supposed to be date day with your boyfriend. you were supposed to go out and be romantic but your prof suddenly posted your early finals since he had to leave for a few weeks.

you were seriously in a bad mood and stressed out since it was a final test.

your bf on the other hand witnessed your tantrums constantly just eyeing your every move. he slowly approaches you deciding to give you some comfort and support by giving you a sweet wrap but finishes disappointed when you swat his arms away before it could even touch you.

ofc the understanding person that he is, backs away from you and gives you time. "i'll be in the living room y/n"

it takes you a couple of minutes to realize what you have done and you quickly go to him.

you stand in front of him who is seated, watching the tv. he looks at you confused.

you feel guilty rejecting his affection earlier so you pay what you owe.

you sit on his lap giving him multiple kisses everywhere on his face, wrapping your arms around his neck tightly giving him a tight hug.

he quickly understands what you're doing so he hugs you back. "it's okay y/n. i'll be here."

you were baking cookies for thanksgiving and of course your guy just had to hug you from behind. it was fine until you couldn't move properly from the fella clinging unto you. you remove his arms from your waist and continued to do your work.

"why'd you do that?"

you turn around to face him and awwwww HE POUTS LIKE CRAZY

you almost jump on him, swaying him around with a hug.

"i'm sorry love, i couldn't move around." you said pulling away from the hug. when you looked at his face, the pout was still there.

"not good?" you ask him, fixing the hair blocking his eyes. he shakes his head and crosses his arms.

you sigh and remove your apron. HE'S SUCH A SULKY BABY.

you grab his arms and lead him to the sofa. he giggles on the way to the sofa, knowing what's about to happen. "yay" he celebrates quietly.

"you're such a babygirl" you say wrapping your legs around him.

he cuddles deep into you and giggles once more.

having a relationship with sunghoon means getting teased every single time you do something. don't get me wrong, he loves you but what he loves most about you is your reaction whenever he teases you.

"you like my hair down? you're such a softie." he says, nudging you.

you roll your eyes crossing your arms. "i take it back, it looks bad."

he chuckles before pulling your arms. "oh c'mon, don't get upset. just admit it, you're soft for me." he tries to uncross your arms, pulling you in for a hug but you pull your arms away from his grip aggressively, letting out a scoff, crossing your arms once more.

he tries to hug your side but you nudge your shoulders refraining him from doing so.

it suddenly gets quiet so you look at him wondering why he stopped chirping. you see him staring at you, brows furrowed with a slight pout on his lips.

his hands slowly slides up and down on your arm still looking at you. "are you mad?" he carefully asks.

you don't answer and just continued looking at him, curious on where this leads to.

he attempts to hug you once more very slowly, afraid you'll reject it again. but you stay still letting him do whatever he wants.

he places his chin on your shoulder rubbing your back gently. "i love you."

your daughter's eyes grow wide as she nods and spills her mom's secrets to you. "she says i can be the flower girl. she'll buy me a pretty dress." she says. "an' she says we'll go on family vacation after! to the beach!"

you snort and roll your eyes.

it's been a year since you and sevika have started going to couples counseling and it's been going really well. it hasn't been easy, but it's been so worth it.

sevika's been trying her best to communicate how she's feeling. she struggles with it; and you try your best not to laugh each time you watch your wi-- your girlfriend's face scrunch up in emotional constipation before she admits something romantic or sad or stupid.

you cackle, and kiss your daughter right back. "you go to sleep, little miss. stop worrying about me and your mommy. y'know when we move into the new house you're gonna be sick of the two of us." you say as you tickle her tummy. your daughter squeals and starts smacking you with one of her stuffies. "you're gonna get twice as many tickles." you threaten.

little fucker squeals, then starts kicking. you laugh as you pull away, smiling down at your giggling baby. "but i'll also get twice as many kisses!" she says.

your heart melts, and you lean back down to hug your baby. "yeah, you will." you kiss her head, your heart surging with excitement.

as much as you wanna give sevika a hard time-- as funny as she is when she's grovelling-- you're happier than you've ever been right now.

little fucker has been adoring having both of her moms paying attention to her at the same time on all the family adventures and outings you've been going on.

last night, sevika took you and your girl to the local carnival. she and little fucker had a blast going on all the rides-- sevika was determined to win her daughter teddy bear (the same one she's cuddling now) at the ring toss stand, and then she was determined to turn you on at the strength tester, where she hit the meter so hard she nearly broke the bell at the top.

you've never been happier in your life.

to you, nothing feels more perfect than walking hand in hand with your wi-- girlfriend-- as your daughter trails ahead of you, gasping at bugs and rocks she finds.

and, if your daughter was a little older and could keep a secret, you'd tell her the truth. you'd tell her that the real reason you've laughed off all of sevika's (and little fucker's) attempts to talk about marriage to you is that sevika got to propose last time. it's only fair that if the two of you get married again; you get to be the one to propose this time.

you want to wait until you're all moved in together and settled... but you've had a ring picked out for sev since your third couples' therapy appointment.

for now though, you just tuck your baby in, gently close her door, then turn to your bedroom, sending a message to your wi-- girlfriend.

"An Unexpected Lesson in Envy" Cater Diamond x GN Reader

Synopsis: Cater wants to show off pictures of you on Magicam, but the online response is not what he was expecting.

Word Count: ~1.4k

A/N: Well it turns out that Cater’s speech and whole overuse of internet lingo thing feels so unnatural to write for me so I think I ended up making him more serious than I was supposed to lol, I did my best. Also the @ looks like that cause I almost accidentally tagged a real person lol

“Come on, just a few more!”

“You said that ten minutes ago!”

You loved him, you did, but your boyfriend had a habit of roping you into photo shoots that could be inconveniently long. You were too cute, he’d always say, he couldn’t help it. You were in the gardens of Heartslabyul, which made for the perfect background as well. Today though, you have a history essay that you really need to get started on. If you stuck around too much longer, you’d have to work pretty late into the night to finish in time. 

“You’re so cruel to leave me~” he whines, which you respond to with a lighthearted glare. “Fine,” he sighs, “We’ve already gotten enough good pics anyway.”

“Thanks. I’ll text you later tonight.” You quickly kiss his cheek before hurrying back to your dorm to work. 

Cater returns to his room as well. While he’s ascending the tall, twisted stairs to get there, he’s scrolling through all the photos he got today. He’s almost giddy as he looks through them, you ended up with some fantastic shots today. 

He flops onto his back on his bed and starts collecting his favorite ones to post. He decides on a short collection of them, and rushes to Magicam to show them off.

He smiles to himself, satisfied with the caption he typed out. He posts them immediately, excited to see the response that they’ll get. And the attention starts coming within minutes of posting. 

He knew the pictures would get some popularity, his followers liked almost anything he posted featuring the gardens, and you were always a stunning model in his opinion. What he doesn’t expect is the amount of attention. The comments and likes start rolling in like they never have for him. No other post of his has gone as viral as this one. 

He’s ecstatic about it, until he starts actually reading the comments. 

-OMG, who is that? They are BEAUTIFUL

-They could slap me and I’d actually thank them for real

-JUST ONE CHANCE PLEASE I BEG

He’s…conflicted. 

Of course you’re beautiful, and of course people would notice. That was to be expected, so why was his chest still feeling tighter and tighter the more he read?

He wasn’t the jealous type, really. He never got upset if you were affectionate with your friends. He never blamed you if some other guy flirted with you, because of course you always turned them down. And as long as they took no for an answer, he couldn’t really blame them for finding you attractive either. 

It’s never been so many people though. Especially all at once. It wasn’t just one person who wanted your attention, it had turned into hundreds thanks to his post. People were praising you with every compliment they could think of, and some were even asking if you were single. 

Your account was private, so he wasn’t worried about you being flooded with unwanted attention suddenly. But he was worried about what you’d think if you saw all the comments. Would you be uncomfortable? 

…Would you like them? He guesses he could understand if you did, everyone was being so nice and complimentary. But he realizes a part of him really doesn’t want you to. 

He was the uncomfortable one. As uncharacteristic as it was, he was jealous and had to admit it. 

Now he was at a loss for what to do, though. Does he delete the post? You followed him, so if you checked once you were done with your essay and the pictures weren’t there, you might ask what happened to them. He technically could respond to everyone that you were taken, but didn’t that make him seem insecure? He should be able to just brush it off, he thinks. 

It’s getting late by this point, and he decides to just try and ignore it for the night. He’d deal with any more comments in the morning, when his head was a little clearer.

He could not ignore it for the night. Every few hours he was up and checking for any more replies to his post, always finding at least a few new ones. His frown deepened with each additional comment. For the first time, he was actually loathing the popularity of his own post.

You could tell something was off when he greeted you with only a half-hearted smile and spent your whole walk to class together clearly lost in his own thoughts. He wasn’t any better anytime you spotted him in the hall between classes. He still wasn’t any better at the end of the school day, which is why you follow him to his dorm to confront him about it.

“Come on, you know you’ve been weird today. Are you feeling sick? Is something wrong?” “It really isn’t that big of a deal.” There’s absolutely zero pep in his tone, none of his usual Cater mannerisms present. He seems almost exhausted.

“That’s a lie and you know it. Cater, why can’t you talk to me about it?” He ponders for a second, still feeling guilty for being jealous in the first place. But clearly he wasn’t hiding it well, and making you worry about him didn’t feel very good either. So he takes a deep breath in before laying out everything that happened with the post.

“...That’s it? I saw the post, you even tagged me. I looked at the comments too when I saw you were getting so many. I honestly just rolled my eyes at them. I didn’t realize they were making you upset.”

“I…I guess I didn’t expect to be either? I just…I don’t know why. It’s not like I think you’d break up with me for one of them or anything.”

“It’s still okay to feel weird about it though. Do you want to take the post down?” “I thought about it, but I’m not sure. And the same thing might happen if I ever post more.” He seems extra dejected at the thought of that. Luckily, an idea pops into your head.

You grab his phone out of his hand. He looks at you surprised, but lets you open up his camera and sit next to him.

“Okay, now like this…” You put his arm around you and lean into him close. He seems to get the idea at this point and smiles widely before pulling you in tightly himself. You both position yourselves in frame, and you press your lips to his cheek as you take the picture.

When you pull away and hand him his phone back, his mood has already flipped completely. Even more so as he types out his next caption:

‘Thanks for the love on the pics we posted! Me and my lovely partner @ ididntasktobehere have been reading all the nice comments together! #cutestcouple #cutiesinlove’

“‘Cuties in love?’ Get rid of that, that’s embarrassing.” “But it’s true! We’re a couple of cuties, the cutest couple in the school!”

He laughed at himself and closed his phone with a satisfied grin. He was sure the two of you got the point across to everyone. With his confidence restored, he looks at you and starts brainstorming again.

“Oooh, maybe Vil will let us use one of the rooms at Pomefiore, everything in there is so fancy, it would totally blow up if we did a little shoot there.” “You’re seriously already planning another?” You laugh.

Of course he was. Now that everyone had it straight that you were taken, he was going to take every opportunity to show you off. 

Plus, if anybody had something to say, he could always just ask you to kiss him on camera again. In fact, he decides, he’ll probably ask you even if they don’t. Because as good as showing you off felt, it didn’t feel nearly as good as showing off that you were his and he was yours.

Cater probably had no idea for the longest time. Getting into someone’s personal business is totally not his style, you know?

There’s really only two ways that he’d find out: either you tell him, or someone else does. If you’re not the one to tell him, he goes straight to you to ask. He’s not just gonna believe some random rumors without confirming it!

He’s completely shocked when you do actually confirm it. Immediately he asks if you want to use any of the stuff his sisters gave him. You get some things you might’ve had a hard time finding, and he finally gets to get rid of all of that stuff. It’s a win win!

Offers to help with makeup if you aren’t the best with it. You guys are always trying the trends he sees on magicam.

“Hey, do you want to try some this new eyeliner trend I’ve seen? We’re bound to look totes adorbs if we match!”

Floyd Leech

Believe it or not, Floyd’s got a pretty keen eye when he wants to focus. He knew you were different from the other students, and that got him interested in knowing more about you.

He figures out your secret fairly quickly, but he honestly doesn’t seem to care about that part. The part he actually cared about was if you’d be willing to fill in for him at the Monstro Lounge.

That’s not to say he doesn’t care at all, but he doesn’t let it affect how he treats you. The “Floyd Special” is available to all, at no cost.

He’ll gladly roundhouse anyone that tries to give you shit though. You wouldn’t even have to ask, he does it on the regular anyway, now he can say it was for a just cause.

“Heyoo shrimpy. Anything new happening with ya? Lemme know if anyone’s giving you a hard time, yeah? I need a new punching bag.” He’s really hard to write for I’m not gonna lie.

Silver

Like Cater, Silver wouldn’t snoop around into your personal business. Adding the fact that he isn’t much of a gossip means he’ll only know if you tell him straight to his face.

As Night Raven is an all boy’s school, of course he’s shocked at the revelation, but he’ll only ask if you’re alright with him doing so. The last thing he’d want is to make you uncomfortable while telling him something like this.

He’s walk with you to places more often, he’s already Malleus’s guard so it’s mostly out of habit. He knows you’re fully capable of navigating NRC without him, but it just puts him at ease knowing you’re alright.

Will do anything you ask him to. No matter how weird the request, he’ll do it for you. Want him to pick up an order for you? Done. Just want Sebek to leave you alone for a sec? Been there, he’ll take care of it.

“Hey prefect, how are you faring? Hm? Why do I keep close to you? Just a force of habit I guess. I can stop doing so if it makes you uncomfortable.”

Pigsy's a grown hog demon with a physically-demanding job, boy can probably lift 300 on a bad day. So a pregnant monkey demon (who hasn't really been training the last few hundred years) really feels like *nothing* to him.

Pigsy sees Wukong (his glamour and cloud "glitching" due to his symptoms) during the DBK vs MK fight and just;

...books it out of there towards the truck. No time to ask questions! This is an active battlezone!

Sandy is on it too, he flips the truck right-side up so Pigsy can store their new passenger inside for safety reasons.

Pigsy was willing to beat the crap out of Red Son when the team busted on into the fight. If some poor bystander had gotten hurt, Pigsy would have directed all his rage upon the Demon Bull Family so much that MK would have to call him off.

And as the gang cheer their win and walk back to the truck, they finally notice the blue-screened look on the "bystander's" face.

MK: "Wow! Monkey King! You made it! But I thought you said your powers weren't working so good?" Wukong, still very confused: "They aren't." Pigsy: "MONKEY KING?!" *panics, realising just who he's carrying like a bag of potatoes* Tang: *fanboy-spluttering* ヽ( ★ω★)ノ Mei: "He's fluffier than I expected! Super adorbs tho!" :3 Sandy: "That's because he's pregnant." The LMK gang: "The Monkey King is pregnant!?" MK: "Now you guys know why he couldn't come with me!" Pigsy, feeling awkward: "Sorry there Mr uh... King?" Wukong, already comfy: "Nah, you're good. Haven't been picked up by someone in over 500 years, so this is nice."

Eventually it disolves into the gang bringing Wukong back to the noodle shop for post-battle celebration noodles (same as regular Pigsy's noodles but with the sweet taste of victory)! Even with the king weakly protesting the treatment.

Wukong is still worried that his Egg may decide to draw it's energy from others around him...

But it doesn't;

The Egg recognises the gang as "Troop". Like the smaller monkeys on the island, and the pilgrims many years before. Troop don't get their dao eaten to a fatal extreme. Wukong breathes a cautious sigh of relief.

Wukong does however scarf down like eleven bowls of noodles to satisfy his and the Egg's cravings. Also the warm home-cooked meal is super appriciated. Wukong starts crying emotionally when he sees that Pigsy made him a bowl without the king asking.

The Sign Commentary Review Ep 1

So earlier today, I made a post telling everyone to go watch. By popular demand, I'll be doing a commentary. Moving forward, I will do commentary at the same time I watch, but I'm unable to do that here. Still, even in the second watch, I have a lot to say.

And action! Because I've watched this already, I know it's a training exercise. I was clueless to this initially, though, which in my personally opinion kept me more on edge. For the sake of the review, I have to point out that some of the fight scenes appear slow. Not all of them, just some of the fighting here and there. I'm assuming due to new actors and not enough rehearsal time, but I still enjoyed it. It's just something you pick up on, not something that takes away from the show. But as you can see below with the betrayal scene, that for the most part, the fight scenes are well choreographed.

The way Tharn sees the future has me a little concerned about him getting hurt. He's distracted and in the thick of things, that's not a good thing. But he sees enough to know he has to rescue Phaya from real danger. Without another thought, he rushes to Phaya's side. At this point, I do pick up feelings from Tharn. You can brush it off to him rushing to help someone, he would do it for anyone, but it's the intensity in which he does it. I mean, there is a lot more concern there that you would expect more with a bestie or crush.

Chart is straight up anger management crazy. How did he pass the psych evaluation to even go into training? Tharn shows up at the critical moment to save Phaya and because of Chart's crazy ass, they all fail. As well as being punished.

Let me tell you, I tend to punish all my kids at the same time, too. Why? Because the ones suffering due to the one who messed up will make the one who messed up suffer. The two will gang up to make the one, and that mistake will not be repeated. Why am I not seeing that here? Why is anyone still siding with that douche canoe???

Yet there they are, siding with him instead of beating his ass. Also, is Chart really talking like Tharn saving Phaya was a bad thing? Like that if Phaya had asked for help, it's somehow unacceptable?

Then we meet the side friends! I adore Tharn's half brother.

And then the side couple? Maybe? Maybe not. I mean, I tend to be like "Bitch, you better be joking" when it comes to cheating.

Though the way Khem calls Thong Babe is adorbs.

I've counted three times when Chart has done the thumb to nose. Is this some kind of character habit, or is he a user?

I love these two lovely bunch of coconuts, your honor. I truly do. I also think that Yai is more insightful than he appears. Take him asking Tharn why most of his visions involve Phaya. He's trying to lead the horse to the trough. "But you seem to care about him a lot." See, insightful.

Then Phaya comes to break up the brotherly love. Maybe he would have said thank you had Tharn been truthful, but you can't really blame Tharn there.

I think Phaya finds Tharn suspicious. Nope, he does not believe Tharn at all.

Then the torture training begins. Luckily for us because we then get to see them cuddle huddle together for warmth.

Why are only the two of them cuddling, huddling together. Where is the brotherly love?!?

This is clearly a macho exercise. Where they are just trying to survive. It is absolutely not flirting. 👀👀👀

Still not flirting.

Nope, no obvious middle school flirtation going on here.

For some quality time together, the guys cart logs through the woods. Tharn gets a glimpse into the future and sees Chart getting hurt. The better man than me, actually checks on Chart. Yes, I would have absolutely let him taste Karma. The dude is unstable! Thankfully, despite Tharn's attempt to interfere, Chart still falls.

Underwater training has them escaping from hand ties and reaching lifeboats. However, Phaya hasn't come up and Tharn is losing his shit. This is when we get a dragon and a mermaid!!! While Phaya takes the mermaid's hand, he is pulled up by Tharn.

Nothing to see here! Absolutely not a romantic moment at all.

We see Phaya drawing the mermaid, which both Tharn and Yai take notice of because she looks so much like Tharn. A lot of mocking ensues thanks to Yai who his clearly trying to play matchmaker, "You like him so much, you're even drawing his picture.". And I think it's working because when he mentions that the names are similar, we notice that Phaya finds this interesting. What I find interesting is when Yai asks why he is drawing Tharn's picture, there is no denial. Phaya simply says it's personal.

This is when we see flashbacks of the first time Phaya and Tharn meet. Yeah, it was a fated moment without a doubt.

Have I mentioned that I love Yai? Him tripping those that are after his brother is just icing on the cake.

Then Yai instigates the moment that leads to an accidental kiss.

It's at this time that they also find a body floating in the water. It ends up being one of the trainers at the faculty. Some are saying it's suicide, but that doesn't make sense to Phaya.

Tharn chases after Phaya like a golden retriever. Trying to make sure he wasn't angry about that morning. Phaya stops and trips Tharn up, Causing him to fall. Still not flirting! 👀👀👀

*Cough. Cough* Yeah, no mistaking that. We are now clearly flirting.

In celebration of passing their training, the guys go out to drink. Hilarity and comradery ensue. We find out about possible side couple having dated in the past. That our golden retriever is also cursed with bad romantic luck. Leaving him very virginal.

We get this beautiful moment in the bathroom. And that should be an oxymoron but damn if it wasn't sexy. Phaya zipping up Tharn's zipper and Tharn unable to stop himself from leaning his head back. Then Phaya throwing down the gauntlet of flirtation. Boy is no longer hiding. If Tharn is confused, then it's cause he is stupid. When they get back to the table and start playing a truth or dare game, Tharn drinks rather than admitting that he likes someone at the table. I mean, might as well admit it at this point, cause the drinking said it all. Then Phaya questioning what Tharn is like drunk. Hmmm. Me thinks he wants some secrets answered. He has his suspicions about Tharn and he wants answers. Be it Tharn or his drunk brother.

We end the episode on a bit of a cliffhanger note. With them, overhear the instructors talking about the death, and everything points to it not being a suicide.

I am 100% hooked. I can't wait for the next episode. Hope you guys enjoyed!!! 💜💜💜

This dweeb would for sure be the one to bring all the ideas to you. I could see him running up to you, practically shaking from excitement as he takes a deep breath then tells you his thoughts.

“Link and Zelda, hm? That sounds fun but Link is canonically shorter than Zelda sooo…”

If you’re shorter than him, he’s immediately like “HELL YEAH!!! ILL BE THE PRINCESS. IM GONNA WEAR A DRESS!”

If you’re taller than him, he immediately gets flirty. “Oooh~ I can’t wait to see you dressed up like a princess. You’re gonna be so freaking adorbs.”
