basically during the filming of tvd s4 ep 7 Joseph kissed candice king without her consent and played it off as improv, theres a picture released of after the kiss which shows a scene that was never aired bc they cut the kiss out

The other links are about him doing the same thing multiple times to Leah Pipes. Theres an interview of her saying it herself and the other post is a statement released by Carina who is a TO writer. She was constantly asked about the deleted klamille kiss so spoke out and said it was inappropriate and that joseph took liberty of Leah's body. She also said actors shouldnt be applauded for this and that it doesnt take much effort to tell ur scene partner if u want to add a kiss.

The whole thing is just rlly disgusting and the main reason why I'm not rlly a fan of Joseph anymire. Its also rlly disappointing to see his fans defend this but also see it as a romantic thing, as if its not assault.

“Women and non-binary people” stop. Do you mean people with marginalized genders? Do you mean gender-oppressed people? Then say that. Stop refusing to recognize the very much gendered oppression of other trans people. There’s not some chasm of difference between how our oppressors treat a very masc non-binary person and a more binary trans man. I’m also non-binary and very much oppressed for my gender but because I’m transmasculine I could never feel comfortable in a space that marketed itself like that. Tell me what the real harm is of letting gender-oppressed mascs into spaces discussing gender oppression is. Because the consequence of not doing so is denying them space for their experiences just because of their gender identity. Do better.
