Du fetter Frosch! ist das eine Beleidigung? Die Froschkönig:innen haben sich einen recht schönen Ranzen angefressen. Da sie in der kommenden Winterstarre keinerlei Nahrung aufnehmen, brauchen sie entsprechende Fettreserven, zumal es für meine ehemaligen Kaulquappen die erste Überwinterung ist. Is it just me or Ava Starr and Bucky Barnes would make one hell of a good couple. They are both people used by corporations such as Hydra and Shield as weapons and would be able to cope with each other’s pain. I need more people to know that these ship the now ! They deserve people’s attention!

Worst things about writing MCU fanfiction

Trying to stick to one ship at a time, especially for Tony or Bucky

The mental gymnastics required to make Steve both likable and consistent with film canon

Being all pumped for Bucky and Sam’s new show, but then remembering....

Stu Rogers will likely get name-dropped, only for Sam and Bucky to gush over him and lament at how “wrong” they were to ever disagree with him

The writers still won’t remember that there’s anything between Bucky and Tony

They’ll very likely give Bucky some random generic love interest, when Ava and Wanda are both right there. 

They’ll gush over what a great hero Stu Rogers was when Black Panther is right there

….all the non-canon ships sank, everyone forgot about the breakout character a you’re always shitting on, and everyone accepted the canon.

WinterStarr headcanon

Dr. Strange was heavily involved in finding a way to cure Ava’s disease while allowing her to keep her phasing powers. Strange, keep in mind, is both a wizard and a surgeon. (Note: I read a fanfic where Strange and Bruce Banner cured Ava, so having Strange involved is NOT my idea) 

Due to somewhat of an age difference (Bucky technically being 100 if nothing else), Bucky calls Ava “kid,” a la “Casablanca.” When she phases, he says “Here’s lookin’ through you kid!” 

When Bucky’s arm gets a loose wire after a fight, Ava can stick her hand right into his and fix it 

When Bucky and Ava need science help of the sort that neither Bruce nor Strange specializes in, and Shuri is unavailable, they fret and argue, because Ava doesn’t want to ask Dr. Pym for help after trying to murder his wife, and Bucky doens’t want to ask Tony after killing his parents and leaving him in Siberia. 

Ava helped save everyone trapped in the Soul Stone, because she could phase through different universes (good god would I be happy if this turned out to be canon!) 

She has a problem with sleep-phasing though. She frequently falls through the bed and wakes up on or in the floor, in a wall, in the sky, in the refrigerator, and so on. It’s starting to get stressful. 

Ava was offered amnesty in Wakanda alongside Bucky, due partially to her having African ancestry. She often wears a white dress with pale Wakandan patterns, that vaguely calls back to her “Ghost” uniform.

Bucky Barnes and Ava Starr. Also known by the names the Winter Soldier and White Wolf; and Ghost. I need a break from the serious, super-clean pieces, so I'll be doing a few of these Tumblr-y styled random pictures. Anyway, WinterStarr (or WinterGhost) is severely underrepresented.
