Introduction

Below the Depths is going to be a romance RPG visual novel where you, the player, work at an aquarium at the edge of your small hometown. The building has a built in rehabilitation center with an enormous entertainment tank that houses performances every Friday night. Everything changes when a new creature is found, though, and what will you do? Will you aid the poor creature who’s been captured? Or will you push to keep it at the aquarium to heal its wounds? 

This is a major WIP, but I am working on the script and some basic sketches to practice with some coding. I hope you follow along as I attempt to create something that’s been on my mind for a while now.

I'm redesigning my Balor. I love my Zheng with a good computer and teleportation idea, but my build ideas are changing and I'm the only one who flies in the face of the crew bot theme of many legs. I also needed more ✨ body horror ✨ to reflect my pilot's lore and the fact that this is a Balor is what it eats and what it eats is people.
