I love that in contrast to Jace and Luke simply being lucky enough to be given a dragon egg at birth that later hatched, Aegon, Helaena, and Aemond never got any of that.
Instead, the only reason they have their dragons is because they claimed them- Aemond being a good example. Not to mention the fact that it had been years since Dreamfyre had bonded to someone and it was not so long since Vhagar lost her rider.
Luxsol.. :( you doin ok over there? i..I... know it's been a while but wanted to peek in
CC: I don't think I can call my current state "okay"... but I'm attempting to remain level headed. As much as possible at least. Sleep is still something I find is hard to come by... and I am digging up as much information as I can, but I'm also rather glad that I'm not entirely alone with this... ☥
CC: My family has been fussing over me. Especially my twin, of course. And I've had other people join in on the fussing as well, which... while I find it to be unnecessary, I can't help but appreciate it. I most certainly feel loved and cared for, and I believe it is saving me from losing my mind completely. ☥
CC: I am still worried out of my mind for Kou... I just hope he's still alive... I hope he's not being treated terribly... or starved... chances feel slim, considering how they left his apartment... but one can always hope, I suppose... ☥

look, at the end of the day rhaenyra and harwin were two consenting adults. what's more, while rhaenyra was undoubtedly of higher status on both sides, harwin was no commoner like ser criston and his father was hand of the king so it doesn't have the same undertones that rhaenyra's one night with ser criston did.
but it's really eye-brow raising to me that people can in all seriousness belittle alicent for not doing something similar to rhaenyra and also choosing to have an affair. that it marks her as weaker.
an important thing to remember is that when women got accused of doing things like that- aka alys harroway, it wasn't just them who faced punishment. their whole families and basically anyone who could be accused of knowing about the affair could be executed.
that is ultimately what harwin and rhaenyra are risking, the safety of other people. are they the only ones guilty of such things? absolutely not. but that's the difference between alicent and rhaenyra in this situation, not alicent being weaker or some patriarchy puppet.
i dont actually have interesting questions to ask you right now so you'll have to come up with a fact about your beautiful self to give me content
