The obligatory "Rolan does cool shit with a new wizard class in photo mode" shots. (ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ.ﾟ

So far, the photo mode is a great tool, in concept. In execution, the original colors of BG3 can be… a lot. So, I don't think I will be delving into making too many screenshots without Reshade/post photo editing x). Plus, screenshots are not my strong suit at all 😅. And, in any case, I won't have much time to play/test BG3 until the weekend T_T.

But I'm sure that @synnevp will find photo mode quite useful, already looking forward to what you come up with *holds an empty plate and cries*. <3

BLADESONG WIZARD

A mountain dwarf wizard who grew up in deep dark caves. Without access to paper Hamish carved his spells into stone slabs. The more spells he learns, the heavier his tome grows making him a buff wizard. He uses leather straps, and a haft to bind his big stone spell book as the head of his hammer!

I sketched up a dwarven wizard to play in a oneshot! A bladesinger wizard who uses his spell tome as the head of his hammer. Fully strength based wizard with a majority of melee spells. :)

Satuj Toracsi's (she/they/he) end-of-the-campaign appearance at level 17 as a bladesinger wizard

I originally had planned for her to kick the bucket during the lab arc but I got attached, so then I had to think of an updated look for them that wasn't "unhinged scientist". He's no longer a kalashtar and thus, their pupils have returned to a normal black. They can dream normally now without witnessing eldritch nonsense 💭👁️

Coming back to the Underdark has been quite the experience for Nora-Vah, one full of romance too

Only one pic of Eldric in this one because obviously I had to main Nora-Vah while down here. How fun that Gale decided to hit on me in the Underdark of all places 👀

There isn't really a story for these two, I am just having fun with an old DND character and his bhaalspawn and trying to get a few evil scenes I haven't seen before. Nora-Vah himself isn't evil, but then again who said he was in charge?

So I have this delightful image of a postgame situation where Astarion starts exploring his more neglected elven heritage, and starts looking at bladesinging.

Bladesinging is traditionally elven, and Astarion's default rogue subclass is Arcane Trickster, so I can see him wanting to combine his more limited magical abilities with his fairly good 'stabbing people' abilities into something more cohesive and, more pertinently, recreating that connection with his background.

Bladesinging uses different animal symbols. Here's cat style:

"Cat: Practitioners of this family of bladesinging wielded swords in battle. The oldest tradition was the "lion style", which was practiced with the longsword but held no preference for a particular school of magic. Those who studied in the "leopard style" preferred short swords and illusion or stealth-oriented spells, while the "red tiger style" bladesingers wielded scimitars in movements that alternated between whirls and lunges."

I think he would suit leopard style perfectly, he works really well with a short sword, and illusion and stealth play well into his primary rogue class.

Really, I just think it would fit him extremely well. But mostly, the main reason why I want him to become a bladesinger is because Astarion has learned this great new skill, he's confident, he's reconnecting with his elven side, this is going great...

And then he realises, oh no. He's a wizard.
