WriteEverything : Komunikasi

Seperempat umur ini aku baru paham hal yang dulu orang keluhkan ke aku : komunikasi asertif di keluarga. Biasanya ini terjadi di usia di mana kita mulai mengambil keputusan jangka panjang seperti lanjut sekolah, bekerja, merantau, termasuk menikah.

Aku baru tahu setelah merasakan sendiri betapa komunikasi seperti ini nggak bisa dipraktekkin yang sekali tembak langsung berhasil.

Suatu saat aku pernah tanya ke ayah apa kriteria calon menantu untuk anaknya ini. Bilangnya, "Maunya adek yang gimana, ntar ayah tinggal nilai."

Kayak lancar-lancar aja, kan?

Tapi begitu aku coba obrolin sneak-peak orang yang kutuju ke mama (dan berakhir ayah juga tahu), walhasil malah diomongin panjang lebar. Apa yang kupikir cocok ternyata belum tentu disetujui orang tua.

Awalnya kesal, apalagi dari segi karakter ngerasa cocok. Kesal pun berbuah diam hampir tiga hari sambil coba sharing sama teman apa yang salah dari aku. Sembari aku ambil waktu untuk mikir di mana salahnya.

Baru di hari ketiga tepat pas pikiran jauh lebih tenang, ternyata aku lupa satu hal penting dan cara komunikasiku yang kurang tepat. Nggak berhenti di bahasan pasangan, bahkan urusan milih pekerjaan masih ada aja intervensi.

Kalo dilihat sekilas, aku serasa anak-anak. Bukan diposisikan sebagai orang dewasa yang dipercaya untuk ambil keputusan.

Tapi, kalo poinnya pengin nyalahin situasi pasti aku bakal nyalahin semuanya dan jadi sulit bergerak. Dari sanalah aku jadi sadar komunikasi itu nggak bisa sehari-dua hari dibentuk. Nggak cukup berhenti di menyampaikan, tapi bisa tunjukin peluang plus kendala yang bakal terjadi kedepan.

Termasuk soal cara penyampaian yang perlu tenang tanpa saling menghakimi.

Komunikasi nggak bisa mendadak, apalagi untuk hal yang sifatnya jangka panjang. Di proses belajar skill ini pun kadang kita bisa aja salah di sana-sini. Dan orang tua tentu perlu waktu untuk bisa terbiasa dengan cara komunikasi seperti ini (terutama untuk yang terbiasa model satu arah wajib nurut).

Jadi, aku pengin di usiaku sekarang (dan kedepannya) bisa mutus mata rantai ini dan bisa nerapkan di keluargaku nantinya. Aku pengin komunikasi antar keluarga jadi momen yang paling ditunggu, di mana sesama anggota keluarga saling tahu batasan dan bisa menyampaikan pendapat tanpa dihakimi apalagi terpojokkan.

Nggak ada hubungan langgeng tanpa komunikasi dan komunikasi terbaik itu ketika satu sama lain tak hanya menerima pesannya, tapi bisa saling mengerti dan mencari jalan tengah.

They might even get lost and wander their way around a space you can't explore in the time a single lifetime offers you. (Yes!!!! I’m back. Damn that was crap. Tons going on behind the scenes too and then my one true passion and connective synergy fuel.. just wiped out in an instant🥳💗🤓Gonna drop a couple sweet posts to make up for lost time and release a igtv video about what was happening. Write down all the things the Universe has given you. Be thankful for what you already have and be thankful for all the things the Universe has given you. The Universe has done a lot of things for us. Paying the Universe back with some gratitude will motivate the Universe to do even more things and will draw more things into your life. If you were once bullied and that person stopped, that's one thing to be thankful for. If the person you're crushing on likes you back, or doesn't but they didn't send their lover out to hurt you, that's another thing to thank the Universe for. You should also thank the Universe for this process too. RINDI, @emptywithout , I have soooo very much to say about this part/update!!! I’ll try to go in chronological order, as much as I can!!

1) Fucking Ruby!!!! She seriously needs to meet s bloody, painful, torturous end for what she did to Sam, in the show and in your series!!! She manipulated him, deceived him, psychologically, and sexually assaulted himl!!! Both In canon and in your, fucking amazing fic!!! I didn’t thihnk i could possibly hate her more, but I do now!! (I love Gen though!!!). I seriously NEED THE BITCH TO DIE, SLOW, BLOODY, AND PAINFULLY!!!!

2). Bobby is the fucking sweetest and most understanding character EVER!!! I need him like I need air!! Just saying!!

3). Dean, He’s the most understanding, loving, character ever created! Even if he doesn’t show it all he time!!

4). If for some unknown reason, you’re not following Rindi, @emptywithout , y’all need to rectify that right now!! She writeEVERYTHING, especially Sam!angst, which is, heartbreaking yet somehow glorious!! I promise you won’t regret one second of following my love, my heart, dare I say, my inspiration?!?!?!

5). I’m...that’s what I can come up with rn!! @sammyimpala-67 and @bitterpill-2swallow , and @mrswhozeewhatsis , I think, can confirm my beliefs??

Ruby decided enough was enough. If she couldn’t find a competent demon to do her dirty work properly, well, she’d just have to do it herself.

She grabbed her knife, slipping it into her boot.

“Sam Winchester, here I come. And this time, you won’t be able to resist me.” And she strode out of the room, got in her sleek red BMW, and headed towards Sioux Falls.

She had plenty of time to plan. Of course, as a demon, all she had to do was snap her fingers and she’d be on his doorstep. But she wanted to enjoy every moment of the anticipation. It gave her chills just thinking about wrapping her legs around that boy.
