All I really want to do is sleep today, it’s just one of those mondays. I hit 44.1k last night after writing a total of 6k for the day. The goal was to hit 45k but I’m cranking those words out this morning because I was practically falling asleep sitting up. 😴 . The goal today is write another 5k today, hitting 49k and hitting 50k tomorrow. Then I’m validating my word count and continuing to write on until my novel is done. I want to finish it this month so I can begin revising in January. . . I also spent some time finalizing plans for some online writing events over the holiday season. I have a word crawl for Thanksgiving, another Scribble Sprint Party for the Saturday after, a 10k day planned for the last day of #NaNoWriMo and that’s what’s left for this month. Then in a couple of days I’ll be revealing more of what’s happening in December. Let’s turn that frantic holiday anxiety into words we can play with in the New Year. . Is it just me or y’all also tend to do the bulk of your writing for the year around holidays? 🤔 . . 5 Rules that will Change your Future

Here are FIVE rules that I follow, and I would like to share them with those aspiring to be better leaders.

1. Go after the things that you want-

There are two ways to see the world, some people see the things they want, and some people see the things that prevent them from getting the things they want. You don’t have to do it the way how everybody else has done it, but you can do it your way. You can break the rules, but you cannot be the obstacle to somebody else getting what they want, and that is rule number one.

2. Take Accountability for your actions-

You can take all the credit in the world for all the things you do right, as long as you take responsibility for the things you do wrong. You get to take credit when you also take responsibility. We need to realize that sometimes we are the problem. We can be a reason for something that isn’t working well, and we need to take accountability for it. I follow a simple mantra.

3. Take care of each other-

When you want to be an aspiring leader, it is not about how well you speak, how smart you are, or how knowledgeable you are. If you aspire to be a leader, you need to be good at taking care of the people around you. You cannot accomplish everything on your own. The world is too strenuous and dangerous for you to think that you can do these things alone. Whom are you going to ask for help, and when are you going to accept it when offered, is an important skill to learn. Learn by practicing to help each other. It will be the single most valuable thing you will ever achieve in the entire life. When you practice asking for help, you will discover there people all around you who always wanted to help you. They didn’t think you needed it because you kept pretending that you had everything under control. The moment you don’t know what you are doing or feel stuck, you will find many people who love you will rush in for help and take care of you. But that will only happen if you learn to take care of them first.

4. Be a good listener and learn to speak last-

You must have heard that in life that you need to learn to listen. I would say that you need to learn how to speak last. You have seen in meeting rooms that the leaders will walk into the room and say. ‘’Here’s the problem, this is what I think, but I am interested in your opinion.’’ you have lost the team right there, and it is too late. Learn to hold your opinion for the last, and it does two things.

i) It gives everyone else the feeling they have been heard and contributed.

ii)You get the benefit to listen to what everyone thinks before you render your opinion.

With this, you get a wide range of understanding of why the opinion is given and is the opinion valid.

This understanding developed from one of the great leaders of the world. There is no doubt that Nelson Mandela is regarded universally as the top leader. In one of the Interviews, Mr. Nelson Mandela answered the question ‘’How did you learn to be a great leader?’’ he responded that his father was a tribal chief and he would go with his father to tribal meetings. He remembered two things when his father would meet the other elders- one: They would always sit in a circle, and two: His father was always the last to speak.

5. Be humble, no matter what position you hold-

A person enjoys the perks and respects it gets when he/she is in a higher position. Usually, the power you get from this position makes you a different person and tends to manipulate your mind to take certain advantages, which can be harmful to the team. It is necessary to realize that the perks are for the person holding the position and not for an individual. You are well respected as long as you have this position, but rather be grateful and enjoy them. Never forget you are replaceable.

Oh! We have a date to celebrate independence day but I guess it was by the men for the men and because of the men. But we, the girls, are also free right? Free to listen to the society; free enough to cry in a corner because they might have said something, free enough to satisfy a man's need (even if we don't put consent to it!!!). And how could I forget free enough to wear dresses of our choice; to work late at 9. (PM). The last two sentences that I wrote was not intended to harm the feelings it was merely a laugh out of court. Everyday I hear a rape story and every day I feel terrible about my existence and gender in particular and everyday I try to imagine the on going mind set of the person whose hormones were not in his control. I want to be a journalist for one day just to interview one of the most talked of personalities nowadays- rapist. I will say sorry if something from my piece of questions hurt him or his feelings but I will make sure that it will hurt his phallus once and for all. I will ask about the thing that a girl does/wear/speaks/breathe that intrigue him enough to turn into a devil. I think devil would not be the right word for them because devils would have been alot merciful. Yeah I will ask the name they want themselves to be called by!!!!

We all are living in a paradox situation where we feel on our own in afternoon and on the other hand goosebumps can't go off after 7 pm if we are not with our fathers, brothers, husbands or boyfriends.

In India, we are more worried about proliferating western culture and give a little concern to rape culture.We wear no less than the men- they wear pyjamas we wear pyjamas; they wear kurta we wear kurta(oh and the dupatta oh but they don't wear them oh but we do oh but we get raped oh maybe the dupatta is the reason oh but what about that girl child in her diapers? Oh leave that!!! ); they wear nicker we wear shorts. I think that the difference lies in the body part part itself and I really wish it was other way around because nowadays "if we have no phallus, we have no opinion". You won't believe what am praying nowadays - if you are raping them please leave them alive because this is the least we could expect nowadays as being safe. If you get out of that hell my girl you are safe!!! Yes yes yes you are safe update your dictionary you attractive,beautiful, innocent bitch it's your fault, it's all your fault!!!!

Am sorry but this is how irate I am right now for being a girl, for being brought up in this society where they don't teach the child to respect women and lastly am sorry for having vulva and a couple of breasts. Because I can't see any other reason for these kind of disgusted scenario being the breaking news since forever.

I am a safe, free and an independent woman,yet. Before I intrigue you to rape me, let me live my life.🙏
