notes: its been two weeks and im still not over xavier thorpe. xavier thorpe x addams!reader. reader is kinda more open and more emotional than wednesday. mentions of death, teenagers making out, hydes. also unedited, so don’t mind the mistakes pls <3 SPOILERS for the show!!!

wednesday and you weren’t exactly identical in personality, some would even dare to say you two were polar opposite, but it wasn’t the full truth. you were… similar, however throughout the entirety of your lives, you seemed to be the more open one, the one who wouldn’t mind physical touch with family, and the closest friends. yet, despite things that defined the differences between you, you were still closed off, a facade built around, so hurting you would be harder.
when you arrived at the castle, the principal decided to split you, giving each of you a little space to breathe, after sixteen years of living together, and being attached by a hip. then, you were told by your parents that you’d be the one living alone, which made your heart clutch.
“tragic events occur, when twins are being separated.” you uttered, arms crossed at the chest as you walked down the hallway, looking for a room that was assigned to you. “don’t say i haven’t warned you.”
the room wasn’t like your sisters, you hadn’t had an eccentric, colorful roommate that was willing to become friends with you – for the first time in your life, you were all alone, not sharing anything with anyone.
later, you’ve learnt that mrs. weems assigned a boy to show you around the school, to provide you a, as she stated, fresh start with friends made, because of you, and not your sister. you were fast to notice that xavier thorpe was quite popular amongst the students, and when you walked around the castle with him, rumors were starting to spread like fire.
well, at least he decided to stick up with your throughout the breaks, so you weren’t bothered by people trying to get the reason of your arrival mid-semester. and after a few weeks, you grew to tolerate his presence, some would say you grew to like him.
when you were assigned to help at the weathervane, and found out it was xavier’s doing (he switched his assignment card with yours, and then switched his with someone else), you even smiled a little to yourself.
“wednesday’s friend works here.” you uttered, standing in front of the coffee shop with a still face. you averted your eyes to xavier as he scoffed, brows knitted at your words. “i suppose you know him?” a sigh slipped through his lips as you cound sense that he was bothered by the mention of your sister’s friend.
“it’s the guy i’ve told you about.” he began, and you understood. xavier talked about a lot of things, and if he started to rant, you’d listen to every single word that left his mouth. “the asshole.” you chimed in, making him smile. so you were listening (he had doubts).
you pressed your lips into a thin line, stepping inside the shop with thorpe right behind you, hand somewhere on your lower back, a gesture he would repeat, whenever you had a walk. “wednesday?” you heard an unfamiliar voice spoke out with shock, walking up to you. his eyes followed your partner’s arm, causing him a lot of… unnecessary stress.
“a sister.” you replied. his body relaxed, the same second a relieved sigh left his mouth. nonetheless, you could feel your friend’s muscles stiff by being around the boy who ruined his mural.
before you could even refuse, you were having an orange apron wrapped around your chest, being told to at least have a little smile on your face prior, which lead to the blonde boy laughing at your reaction, and then at the reaction of the owner, when you cursed under your breath.
“colors suit you.” xavier commented, hand running through his hair, trying to get the annoying strands of the face. not even knowing why, you were observing each of his moves. “what?” he asked, a little flustered, which was a rare thing.
without uttering a word, you grabbed a tie from your wrist, pulling him closer, so tying his hair would be easier. when you processed the situation, you blinked twice, heat unwillingly coming to your cheeks, giving them a chance to tint pinkish. “it was annoying.” you whispered, his face right in front of yours.
at the end of the outreach day, you got exhausted, fingertips burnt by accidentally touching the hot surface of the coffee machine, heart pounding by consuming an insane amount of caffeine. you were sitting at your desk, finishing an assignment for ms. thornhill’s classes, a large essay about a certain species, when your hand started to draw all across the page, a scene that you guess would happen in future.
you got your visions randomly, whether you had something to sketch on, or not, it wasn’t as intense as your sister’s ability, but was definitely more trustworthy than hers. a wave of dread washed over you as you realized the picture showed your body, with a monster that killed rowan on top of you, its hand in the air as if it wanted to take a swing at you.
you didn’t even know where you were heading, legs taking the absolute control over you as you entered one of the boys’ wings, finding yourself at the door of xavier’s thorpe, tears threatening to spill.
“he- what are you doing here, what happened?” he let out, pulling you into his room, a worried grimace spreading over his face as he watched you breaking down. tears ruining your makeup, breath so short that you couldn’t catch it a few times, your whole body shaking, scaring the shit out of your friend. “y/n, what is-” words died in his throat as soon as you threw your arms around his neck.
it was a sign for him to shut up, and embrace you in a tight hug. nevertheless, hearing you crying, or just seeing you so vulnerable made his heart itch, a jolt of pain hitting him so suddenly. he let his head rest on yours as his hands caressed your back up, and down slowly.
you pulled away fifteen minutes later, his white t-shirt stained black, because of your smudged mascara and eyeliner, your eyes red, swallowed, and puffy. “i apologize, don’t know what lead me here.” you sniffed as his palm cupped the side of your face as the thumb wiped away your tears.
“shhh, don’t say that.” xavier shushed, his eyes looking directly into yours, the worry on his face never gone. “just tell me what happened, okay? i’m worried.” he whispered, stroking you cheek gently.
“i’m going to die.” your words made the boy tense up, eyebrows knitted together as he tilted his head to the side. “the monster will kill me, i saw it xavier. it-it’s going to rip me apart.” you cracked a humorless laugh. “i overreacted, death will come to all of us, right?”
“yeah, but it won’t take you away from me, okay? i’ll promise.”
you stayed overnight, because xavier said he’d like to have an eye on you, in case something happens (which you thought was an absurd, because what would happen at the castle, but you let down without a fight). at first, you were supposed to sleep on his bed, while he occupied the empty one, but somehow, the two of you ended up in one bed, staying up almost all night to talk.
since that evening, the form of your relationship has shifted. he was the only person to see you without the facade, you’ve built to protect you. and… you’ve got close, extremely close. xavier wanted to protect you, so he offered to spend time with him at the shed. you didn’t even hesitate.
his presence was soothing — for the first time in your life, you liked to have someone next to you, to give you the sense of comfort, and protection, something you’d hardly ever experienced. at the same time, you could witness how the walls around him fell down with each hangout, showing you the real him.
you remember sitting in the yard, on a bench next to wednesday and enid, who couldn’t stop talking about how well did ajax look at the poe cup with his makeup (you wouldn’t admit it, but the only one you looked at that day was xavier, could anybody blame you though?).
“hey.” a familiar male approached the three of you, a shadow of smile hovering over his lips as you turned yourself to him, matching the smile immediately. “could we talk, for a minute?” he asked, eyes focused on you.
“she stays here. we’re going to be witnesses.” wednesday blurted out before you were even able to open your mouth. a sigh, full of misery, left your mouth, but you just nodded, making enid giggle.
“yeah, sure.” he shrugged, not minding their presences. “would you… go to the raven’s with me?” he cracked a smile, his words making your stomach clutch, planting there a warm, unknown feeling.
“i’d love to.” the corners of your lips went a little upward. a scene of you, and xavier both clothed in white, slowly dancing at the dance floor with his hands on your waist. god, just a thought of what may happen at the raven’s made you smile.
“god, i thought you wouldn’t agree.” he chuckled, eyes flew to your friends. “okay, i won’t interrupt anymore. catch you later, right?” you nodded. as soon as xavier left, you were burried in questions by sinclar, who suddenly got so interested in how did you bond with thorpe so fast.
however, your sister didn’t share the enthusiasm with enid as she watched xavier leave with narrowed eyes. “you should be careful.” she muttered, sparing you a glance. “he acts suspicious, you should spend less time with him, in case something happens.”
“don’t worry. i can keep myself safe, wednesday.”
for the next few days you were mostly hanging out with your sister, and her crew, spending a lot of time at the weathervane, keeping an eye on tyler, who wasn’t the most innocent in your eyes, especially when he pinned over your sister.
it was easy to assume that as a child, you weren’t really enthusiastically participating in such trivial activities as school dances, trips, school clubs until you came to nevermore. sometimes, at night, you’d wonder what has gotten into you, making you change so suddenly. then, when you woke to a message from xavier, you always understood where did it come from.
you expected the things between you to end a few days after he showed you around, being left alone with your own thoughts, which could result in running away with wednesday as soon as possible or in going against anything that mrs. weems had planned for you.
but fortunately for you, your friend decided to stick around, making sure you will accommodate yourself at the school, somehow he found protecting you as his mission after getting interested in you. sometimes, you thought that xavier thorpe was like an angel sent from heaven just for you, to be honest — he felt the same way with you.
seeing you, dressed up in the prettiest dress you’ve found in jericho, waiting on him at the entrance of the ophelia hall with a shadow of smile hovering over your lips as you noticed him, wearing a perfectly fitted, white suit, hair tied in a bun. too handsome to keep your eyes off him.
“didn’t expect to see an addams in a white dress.” he let out a laugh, taking your arm gently as you walked down the way to the hall. “you look gorgeous, though. it suits you.”
“enid made me choose it.” you rolled your eyes, earning a small chuckle from your partner. “don’t laugh at me, asshole! it was so hard to convince her to let me pick one on my own.” you punched his arm playfully, stepping into the room.
“it must be weird seeing her around wednesday so much.” you nodded. “it’s so… mind-blowing how different the two of you are. you begin to grow to become grumpy and sunshine, funny.” his laughter rang in your mind, the meaning of his words hitting you after a second.
“did you just call me a sunshine? do i look like a sunshine to you?” you scoffed, turning your head to him with a scowl. “it’s like an insult in my family to be called a sunshine.” you added, getting another chuckle in response.
“if you were dressed in a yellow dress, then you’d be cosplaying the sun.” you could feel his breath on your ear as he laughed, nudging you lightly. “god, i start to regret i agreed on going with you, asshole.”
the rest of the dance was truly wonderful. for the first time, you’ve had as much fun, doing a thing you thought was reserved for someone who came from a normal family, and your family wasn’t exactly the most normal one. most of the time, you spent with your body glued to your partner’s as you danced, barely paying attention to people surrounding you, almost as if there was no one around you. it was also the day, when xavier heard your laugh for the first time, the second you noticed people tripping over the red paint that covered the whole hall (including your dress, and thorpe’s suit).
you didn’t know about the vision your sister had, since you barely have spoken a word to each other as your dates didn’t really get along. you arrived at the door of your room shortly after the dance was cut off. “i have to admit, i had fun.” you cracked a smile at him, hands wrapped around his chest as you slowly pulled him inside.
“see? you’re the sunshine.” he laughed, reciprocating your smile. “sure, does that make you the grumpy, then?” you tilted your head to the side, feeling his hands on your waist. “do you want me to be the grumpy?” a whisper left his mouch, your lips inches away from each other.
“what if i do?” you let out.
before you could add anything else, xavier pressed his lips against yours, closing the gap between you. your hands immediately flew to the collar of his shirt, pulling him even closer as a soft sigh escaped from between your lips. you closed your eyes, the warm feeling appeared in your abdomen once again.
the impact xavier thorpe had on you, made your legs wobbly, unable to stand still as you had to tighten your grip on his shirt to keep you steady. everything felt like a dream, his lips moving against yours, hands tracing around your body, before your back hit the sheets on the bed, not really minding that you’d have to change them later.
then, when you woke up, still in the now-red dress, your friend sleeping next to you, his arm threw over your waist, you felt million things at the time. heart’s pounding in your chest in the moment, when you brushed the hair off his face. a soft smile spread over your lips. then, one significant thing popped up in your mind.
the parents’ visits weekend.
“hey, xav.” you mumbled, shaking his arm gently. “wake up, your dad’s probably waiting for you downstairs, right now.” you didn’t even realize he was up until he groaned at the mention of his dad.
“he’s not.” he replied, fingertips caressing geometrical shapes on your waist. “he texted me, he’s not showing up.” the boy shrugged, showing you the notification on his screen. “excited about having a weekend with your parents, though? missed them?”
“well, kinda.” a sigh left your mouth as you turn your head to him. “it’s good to see them, but not too exciting.” you sent him half a smile, and brought your feet to the cold flooring.
you wished you could say that the parents weekend gave you a great time to bond with your parents, and siblings, but all you got was the vision coming true. you were coming back from xavier’s shed, wanting to have a word with your relatives, when something threw you on the tree with its full strength.
death fascinated you as a child, you wondered what would it be, nonetheless, you’ve always wanted to be in control of your last seconds. maybe killing yourself with a gun by playing the russian roulette, or by jumping off a plane without a parachute, but definitely not by being torn apart by a monster who injured wednesday’s friend, and killed xavier’s roommate.
you didn’t even fight, accepting whatever would happen next, not contemplating whether you’d end up in heaven or hell. limbs cut to flesh, leaving you with scars that would take a whole lifetime to heal. it took you long enough to pass out or die, you weren’t certainly sure.
to your dispair, you were alive, in a coma, but still alive. it was probably the tragic outcome you’d talked about the day you arrived at the school. unconscious, surrounded by your friends, and family at the hospital in jericho.
you regained consciousness late at night with the head pounding like a drum. then, you realized that maybe, xavier thorpe was an angel sent to you from heaven, when you catch a glimpse of him, his head leaned against the white sheets of the hospital bed, your hand intertwined with his. it seemed like he could feel you switching on the bed.
“y/n? oh my god.” he whispered, tightening the grip on your hand. “you’re alive, fuck me, they said there was a slight chance that you’d wake up.” it was all unbelievable for him to see you awaken.
you cracked a soft smile at him in response, head tilted to the side as you murmured. “my death would be more phenomenal that this, since when do you think so lowly of me?” a low chuckled escaped from between your lips. “how long have i been… half-dead?”
“a while, you missed your birthday.” he sighed. “and you also missed, when your sister accused me of being the monster that attacked you, which is funny, you know, because even though her evidences lead to me, i was the one who found you, and took you to mrs. weems, i was the one who sit here most of my free time.”
a week later, a few days before wednesday’s date with her boyfriend, you got out of the hospital, although still weak, so xavier was always somewhere near you to scare off people who was a possible bother.
you were sitting in his room, revising the notes yoko has given you when you left the hospital, and you decided on continuing the semester. a playlist, you’ve made a few hours earlier, was playing in the background as the two of you were minding your things. the first peaceful evening in a while.
“hey, uh. i need to tell you something.” he caught your attention. “i know that it’s partially my fault for your accident, because i should go with you to the castle that day but-”
“xavier-” you started, but he immediately cut you off.
“let me finish, okay?” you nodded. “uh, where was i? the feeling that you’ve might not wake up was destructive, the awareness that i won’t be able to hear you laugh, see you smile or kiss you made me realize how much i don’t want to lose you, and that i love you. love you from the bottom of my heart.” now, he was sitting right in front of you, his hands holding yours gently.
“and i know that everything’s so confusing for you right now, but i’d like to be more than friends.” he mumbled, keeping eye contact with you. “you don’t have to tell me you like me, or love me, you don’t even have to agree i just–”
kissing xavier was the only thing that popped up in your mind, when you thought about cutting him off, one of your hand placed on the back of his neck, the second one patting his cheek. the kiss didn’t last long, because you pulled away after a few seconds. “will you listen to me now?”
“i like you, xavier thorpe. it’s hard to say, but i wouldn’t let someone do anything to you, you know? that kind of like.” a grin appeared on your lips, being quickly matched by the boy. “i’d really like to be your… girlfriend, but you’ll have to give me some time, before i drop the l-bomb, okay?” your boyfriend nodded, closing the gap between you.
happiness wasn’t really made for you. the rumor about xavier being taken away by the sheriff galpin spread around the school quickly enough for you to catch your sister before she left. “what did you do? did you lost your mind?” you grabbed her by the shoulders, fury flickering in your eyes as her face stayed still.
“i told you to be careful with him, he’s the monster that attacked you, eugene, rowan, and the therapist. you’re just dumbfounded now.” she explained.
“you’re wrong.” you sighed. “xavier didn’t do it. he wasn’t able to attack eugene, because we were… making out in my dorm for half the night, he was with me most of the time, so maybe i’m the hyde and his my master, huh?” you let out a scoff, a scowl painted all over your face as you pushed her lightly. “try looking around your boyfriend, and leave mine out of it.”
“emotions took over you, sister. that’s quite unlike you.”
but you couldn’t hear that — you were already on your way to the nightshade’s library, trying to look for something that could free thorpe before it was too late.
unfortunately, you couldn’t find anything until your sister had seen through everything, coming to the conclusion that xavier was far from being a hyde, but it was too late anyway. mrs. weems was dead, and thornhill revived crackstone, trying to put an end to the outcast with tyler as the hyde (quite ironic, though).
you were outside the castle with ajax and enid, looking after the students to stay in a safe distance from the school in case something happens. the gorgon nudged your side lightly, making you look in the same direction as him. xavier, standing without cuffs on his wrists, his eyes focused on you as you swiftly made your way to him.
“i’m sorry i couldn’t get you out earlier, i was thinking about breaking the laws, but then wednesday promised—” you rambled, embracing him in the tightest hug you only could. “sorry, uh… i’m really happy to have you back.”
when everything had come to an end, you were standing at the entrance of the school, your things somewhere next to you as you’ve waited for your boyfriend, who talked to wednesday upstairs. he finally made his way downstairs, noticing you with a smirk, all he could do was to roll his eyes in a playful manner.
“i need to tell you something.” you began, tugging a strand of his hair behind his ear, accidentally brushing his cheek. “i love you. like i’d die knowing i won’t see you again, type of love.”
“god, you really drop the L-bomb right before we have to split up?” he laughed, kissing your forehead lightly. “take it as an invitation to visit me over the summer break, alright?”
“maybe you could visit me, lover boy?”

When Wednesday goes to Xaviers shed and thing pushes the blanket from over the painting, could it be a painting of the reader, and Wednesday thinks its creepy and she tells reader and you can decide how it ends. (idk if that made scenes but I thought it would cute.)

Wednesday couldn’t hold a single ounce of love to anyone, except her cousin, and you really couldn’t call it love. The two of you grew up together with your father constantly on the run, staying with your aunt and uncle and cousins most of your life.
You were the blunt end of Wednesday’s emotions, trying to make up for her lack of.
Unlike your cousin, you were excited to start at Nevermore. Since you were little, your aunt would tell you the stories of her time there hoping that one day you and Wednesday would attend. While you basked in her stories, Wednesday just rolled her eyes at her mother, sick of hearing about her marvelous time at Nevermore.
Standing next to Enid as she showed the two of you around, Ophelia Hall did not have enough room, leaving the three of you together as roommates.
Starting to think in your head, Enid’s voice had drowned out as you scanned over the quad before your eyes stopped to stare.
Turning, Xavier saw you looking at him, giving you a little half smile before turning back to his painting which was ravens, you think.
The rest of your day at Nevermore wasn’t much, taking your own route while Wednesday took hers but you didn’t expect to be sitting in the infirmary already.
Sitting on the other side of her bed, both you and Xavier watched her quietly. He was the one to find you after bringing Wednesday to the nurse, explaining about what happened.
“Thank you again, the two of you are even now.” You smiled softly.
Xavier looked up at you, his eyes slightly wide, “You aren’t talking about my-”
“I am.” You laughed quietly.
“Can never leave that in my past.” He looked down, smiling.
Since the two of you have grown closer but once Wednesday started her journey to find the Hyde, you knew you couldn’t leave her on her own, going with her and keeping all of it from Xavier.
Wednesday kept most of her theories to herself, especially that she believes that Xavier is the Hyde.
Heading out to the woods towards Xavier’s shed hoping he could clear out some answers for her.
Once arriving, Thing could sense something, running from Wednesday, walking around Xavier’s shed, looking over to see the canvas, covered.
Pulling down the cover, Xavier looked over, letting out a sigh watching Wednesday walk over towards the painting.
“Look, listen.” Before he could even explain, Wednesday spoke.
“You drew her.”
The picture was you during the Rave’N walking down the stairs, your dress swaying as you stepped down each step. Standing behind her, Xavier lifted his hand, letting the painting come to life, your self painting following your steps walking down the stairs.
“I-I couldn’t stop thinking about her.” He confessed. Xavier truly didn’t know what Wednesday was going to do with the information, probably knowing that you were going to find out soon enough. “Just let me tell her first.”
“I make no promises.” Wednesday spoke.
Coming back into her dorm, Wednesday contemplated what Xavier told her, knowing he probably would never tell you, and after hearing Enid gush about you and Xavier potentially being together, Wednesday thought it was best to let you know.
Upon entering the room, she saw Enid sitting on her bed watching a movie, looking up, you saw your cousin coming into the room.
“You finished what you were looking for?” You asked her, pausing the movie, turning your attention to Wednesday.
“No, my dream didn’t help.” She concluded, finally turning to look at you. “Xavier drew a picture of you.”
There was a moment of silence before Enid let out a loud squeal. Both of you turned to see Enid, practically shaking in her spot.
“Oh my god!” She gushed, grabbing onto your shoulders, shaking you back and forth, “I told you he liked you back!”
You couldn’t barely comprehend what she said, still shocked that Xavier drew a picture of you, you always thought he saw you as a friend, a friend wouldn’t draw a friend would they?
For the rest of the night you had to listen to Enid go on and on about you and Xavier, saying that the two of you needed to get together immediately, along with that, saying that the two of you could go on double dates with her and Ajax.
“Enid.” You said calmly, “He doesn’t know that I know.”
“Right.” Enid nodded her head slowly, “You’ll have to tell him tomorrow then.”
You knew Enid was right, you needed to talk to Xavier eventually.
Seeing him in classes the next few days, you tried to plan it out as much as could, speaking to him after class but something always got in the way of you getting to him.
Finally gaining the courage, you made your way towards his dorm, frowning when he didn’t answer, after the 3rd time trying you gave up, but still on a mission to find him.
Going out into the woods, following the familiar trail towards his art shed, knowing it was the only other place he would be that wasn’t his room outside of class.
“Xavier.” You knocked on the wood, opening the door slightly, poking your head in slightly.
Seeing that his headphones were on, you slipped in quietly, slowly making your way next to him, “Hi.”
Jumping, Xavier tried to hide what he was hiding while trying to answer back to you. “Shit, you scared me.”
“I’m sorry.” You apologized, “I knocked, but you had your headphones on, and I was wondering if we could talk?”
Finally looking at what he was drawing, your eyes widened, seeing the couple on his canvas.
“That looks beautiful Xavier.” You confessed, letting your eyes soak every spot. “Who did you draw?”
Feeling conflicted, Xavier didn’t know what to say, he knew that it was time to tell you about the other painting, and along with that, telling you how he feels about you.
Feeling his mouth dry, Xavier muttered up a small whisper, “It’s us.”
Closing his eyes, Xavier was waiting for the worst, saying that you now hated the painting, or that you didn’t think of the two of you like that.
“Really?” You smiled, “I kind of came to talk about us.”
Xavier let out a small sigh, looking up from his lap, looking at you, waiting for you to continue. “Wednesday told me about your painting.”
Letting out a hough, Xavier knew that Wednesday couldn’t keep her mouth shut, always wanting to know everyone’s drama.
Silently, Xavier stood going back to your painting, pulling down the sheet. You stood on his side, letting out a quiet gasp. It was, you couldn’t even form into words about what you thought about it.
“I know it’s kind of weird but-mmpphh!”
His words were cut off when he felt you grab ahold of his collar, pulling him down towards you. Feeling his lips on yours, Xavier greedily grabbed your face practically forcing his lips any farther on yours.
Humming, you smiled into the kiss, feeling your bottom lip being sucked, pulling away slightly, looking out a quiet moan.
Pulling away, both your lips swollen, you shyly looked up at Xavier.
“I guess you liked it.” He murmured.
“I think I liked it a lot more.” You smirked, “I have to thank the artist properly.”
“Another kiss should be sufficient.” He smiled, pulling you closer to him. “And maybe a date if he’s lucky.”
“I think I could make that happen, he seems really cute and my friends are constantly telling me that the two of us would be perfect together.”
“I think they have the right idea.” He smiled, gazing down at you, silently thanking your cousin for giving the two of you that final little push.

‘’Hand me the crow skull.’’
Xavier scanned across the table for the skull and handed it to you. There was a small — and overpriced — witchcraft store in Jericho, but he had a feeling you had gotten it yourself from a dead crow. The thought sent shivers down his back and impressed him at the same time.
‘’What is it that you’re doing exactly?’’ he asked, his spiritualism and witchcraft practice knowledge not as advanced as yours.
Before you, a pentacle had been drawn with some lit candles around it, turning an old table into your altar. In the middle of the pentacle, you had superpositioned some bones along with a piece of fabric, turning the Nightshades library into your personal sanctuary.
If Principal Weems ever found out, she would shut down all activities and confiscate all of your material. Although Nevermore was a school for outcasts of all kinds, witchcraft practice outside classes was strictly forbidden.
‘’Spying on my enemies,’’ you replied as you placed the small crow skull on top of the stacked bones. ‘’I suspect Bianca is planning to sabotage the Black Cats’ boat for tomorrow's Poe Cup.’’
‘’She sabotages everyone's boats every year. This is nothing new,’’ Xavier said, already feeling defeated although the competition was tomorrow.
Somehow, only Bianca's boat make it back across the lake every year. Everyone else end up in the lake. It's too strange to be a coincidence or a fair win.
‘’Her little plans won’t be going accordingly this year. Wednesday made me swear on our great aunt Calpurnia’s grave that I would make sure Bianca wouldn’t sabotage her team’s boat. Unfortunately, a protection spell on their boat would be too obvious, but I can figure out her plans with a little crow's eye.’’
Xavier drew his eyebrows. ‘’A crow’s eye?’’
You hummed, then grabbed a handful of white grains and asked Xavier to move. ‘’Step back, mon amour, I wouldn’t want to injure you. It’s gonna blow up.’’
Getting the message, Xavier took a few steps back and watched from a safe distance.
‘’Wings of Titania,’’ you began, sprinkling white grains around the bones,’’bear mine eyes aloft as I bid thee.’’ You dropped the rest of the white grains and all that was inside the pentagram blew up, your eyes turning white as your head tilted back the same way your sister would when getting a vision.

༘⋆ - YOU’VE GOT MAIL.
Tumblr media
༘⋆ FT :: xavier thorpe x fem!addams!reader
༘⋆ TW :: mentions of the word ‘dead’ once, angsty content (??). some lines from the show are used
༘⋆ SYNOPSIS :: you did your all to hide xavier’s parting gift from your family. who would’ve thought the object of your desire would become known to them so soon…
Tumblr media
⊹ ⋆゚꒰ఎ ♡ ໒꒱ ⋆゚⊹
I get caught red handed as the foreign, high-pitched sound of a message notification fills in the pause of a family discussion during dinner. I freeze, accepting my fate as the center of attention as we sit in dead silence. I always liked my solitude and the quiet, let alone words and things beginning with ‘dead’, but this one was making me nauseous, and not in a good way. This is where it ends. What a drag. The taste of my favorite dish or my father’s neverending stories of his years at Nevermore could not have made it up to the void I felt inside of me.
I slide my right hand into my pocket slowly and imperceptibly, disabling the sound of my phone. I see a familiar contact name as my phone screen lights up. Xavier. Of course it has to be him. Oh the place and time. Brushing off the brim of emotions that overwhelms me, I take the knife and the fork back in my shaky hands and force out a few words of explanation that my parents deserve.
“My apologies, perhaps bringing a phone to a family function wasn’t the best idea. Will note for next time” I end up murmuring indistinctly with a fake smile, looking down at my plate in humiliation. My eyes then anxiously wander across the room, examining my family’s faces. Everyone is eyeing me back in utter confusion. That, however, doesn’t stop my mom from engaging into the conversation furthermore, as she puts the napkin back on her lap.
“Y/n, darling,” she said softly. “Would you mind explaining how you happen to possess the soul-sucking electronic device of meaningless affirmation in the first place?”
The question was expected and I should’ve came prepared - no one in the house knew about Xavier’s thoughtful gift to me, except for Wednesday, of course. The alien and humbling feeling of excitement, mixed with admiration, has overfilled me to the point where confessing to my sister on the spot was inevitable. The timing was especially right, as next came the unsettling messages from our stalker that we’re yet to decode.
“It was a parting gift from my friend when I left Nevermore for this winter break” I clarify blandly, making eye contact with my mother. My train of thought, which was more a contemplation of my eventful life anyway, was cut off by a voice at the end of the table.
“Does the friend in question happen to be the handsome young man from that one time at the Nightshade library?” Uncle Fester asks frisky and somewhat mockingly, stuffing his mouth with salad.
I am in the beam of spotlight once again as the family is left on a cliffhanger. Hurts to admit, I overreacted. This is where it ends. My ego are pride are shattered in a million pieces. Who knew that the terrible loss of a subjective self-identity of a heartless, disastrous hellbound teenage girl would come so soon.
Hastily picking up the food on my plate with a fork, I utter the following in a grumbly indistinct manner, trying hard not to blush. “Yes, it was him.”
My parents meet each others gazes as they smile. They let me rest from the discussion for half a minute, murmuring sweet nothings to one another, and just when I begin to think my blaze of glory is finally over, my mom picks the conversation up again.
“So, mind telling us more about it? What is his name?”
“Xavier Thorpe.” Wednesday shot back before I was even able to respond. Perhaps the complete disgust of the ongoing discussion has pushed her to my rescue, hoping to end this nightmare as soon as possible.
My mother hums in approval and continues the love interest trivia, raising her brow. “He’s Vincent Thorpe’s son, isn’t he?”
“Wait, what?!” Pugsley says at the edge of his seat, excited from overhearing his favorite psychic’s name.
“Yes, yes he is. I am not sure as of where me and Xavier stand and I would appreciate it if you give me some time before we talk about this again” I let out a sigh as I finally say what’s been on my mind. “For now, excuse me, I have to go. Thank you for a wonderful meal.”
I get up and make my way upstairs, to find some peace and quiet in my bedroom. Laying on my back and staring at the ceiling in complete despair, I pull out the phone from my pocket after some time, checking the messages.
“Hey! I was thinking of asking you out for coffee, how does that sound?”
I am doomed. So doomed.

Don't Make Me Say It Again. (x.t)
Tumblr media
Pairing: Xavier Thorpe x Fem!Addams!Reader
Summary: blurb! xavier is close to snapping when you don't realize what he has been hinting.
Warnings: mutual pining, fluff
a/n: okay, another one before i go torture myself in actually reading my textbook that i haven't picked up in weeks.
masterlist

“Shouldn’t you be with your sister?” Xavier questioned as you tied on your apron.
“No, she wanted to work at pilgrim world for some odd reason. I would rather die than dress up as a colonist,” you informed the boy.
“That doesn’t surprise me.”
“Hey, Y/N! Need a hand?” Tyler called out from behind the counter as you and Xavier cleaned the tables.
“Already got one,” you replied back pointing to Thing wiping the table.
“I thought I told you and your sister that he was bad news,” Xavier whispered to you as he reached over to grab a mug on your side of the table.
“Twice actually, but I couldn’t care less about him. Wait. Enlighten me,” you turned to face him.
That was when you noticed how close you two actually were. Though you were standing around a foot away from each other, it was concerning how he seemed to step closer to talk.
“It happened last Outreach Day. I was working on a mural for the town then he and his friends come up and start attacking me. They destroyed the mural and left me with bruised ribs. People like him don’t like people like us,” he explained.
“Hm.”
“It’s not like you would care anyways, right?” Xavier scoffed walking off to the next table.
“It seems like he’s changed, quiter softer now, which is disappointing,” you admitted as you followed Xavier. “Why do you care so much if I talk to him though?”
“You’re kidding.”
“Why would I kid?” you blanked.
“Open your eyes, Y/N! I have been here on your side this entire time, and you still don’t get it?” Xavier snapped banging the table with the tub full of plates and mugs taking a step closer to you. “Sometimes it’s unbelievable how little empathy you have for others.”
“Xavier,” you breathed out taking a step back.
“I like you, Y/n. What do I have to do for you to see that?” he followed in taking a step closer.
“You know I don’t actually like Tyler, right? You might be an imbecile and infuriating but-” you hinted.
“Really know how to make a guy blush,” he let out a small laugh.
“It’s the attributes I like about you though,” you muttered under your breath.
“What was that?” he mocked.
“Don’t make me say it again,” you deadpanned looking down on the floor avoiding his gaze.
“No, I don’t think I heard you the first time,” he joked he lifted your chin with his hand. “What did you say?”
“I’m not saying it again.”
“You gonna let me kiss you?”
“Depends,” you answered.
He moved his hand from your chin to the back of your neck pulling you into a kiss. You found yourself kissing him back wrapping your arms around his neck. You could feel him smile into the kiss. You didn’t kow how long you to stayed there for until you heard a cough behind you.
“Seems like you’ve had fun working,” Wednesday said unimpressed as she pulled you away from Xavier. In which he just laughed as you tried to get your arm out of Wednesday’s grip.
"Wednesday, why do you always have to grab the same arm," you whined as she dragged you out.

“I don’t even understand why you're being all grumpy right now,” you sigh as you trail behind your bestfriend.
You’re just leaving the Weathervane café and following Xavier towards the woods, meaning you’re probably heading to his little art shack. Everything was going as it usually does – you guys laughing and catching up over your separate drinks – when he suddenly got really quiet and wanted to leave.
“Can you at least tell me what’s wrong?”
He doesn’t even acknowledge your presence anymore, seeming to be in his own head right now.
You glance at his back, his usually tall stature now hunched in on itself. He keeps running his hand through his hair as it falls in his face, which is when you notice that he’s missing the black hair tie that usually sits on his wrist.
Putting a little pep in your step to get beside him, you hold out your own wrist. Upon it lays a hair tie; the same black type that he usually keeps for himself. You started carrying them after noticing how often he sets them down beside him, only to forget doing so and abandoning them altogether.
He halts his movements before glancing at the band adorning your wrist. He stares at it for a few seconds before his gaze trails up at your face, where he stares at you for a few more.
You guys are always comfortable around each other, you’ve been friends for a while now, so eye contact is not something you struggle with…but there was something different about the way he is currently looking at you. Like he’s analyzing you. Studying you. Looking past what lays upon your expression and trying to survey your thoughts.
You try to hold his stare, but after a bit your face starts to heat up and the moment feels way too intense, so you divert your gaze to your shoes, the tips almost touching the tips of his own.
You hear the soft sigh fall from his lips before you see his retreating steps. After a few seconds, you fall back in line, trailing behind him once again.
After a few more silent minutes, you reach his art studio. He opens the door for you, though still not looking at you directly, before walking in himself. He immediately finds his closest pencil and sketchbook, making little to no sounds as he sits at his desk and begins scribbling away.
You sit on the stool that accompanies a large painting canvas and watch as he frustratingly works the pencil into the paper, smudging lead with his fingers in an unrecognizable design.
After a while, the silence is almost too much to bear.
“Seriously Xavier, what is wrong with you?”
“Everything apparently,” he said abruptly while slamming down his pencil on the multi-color covered table top, “enough to not even be an option anymore.”
You squint at him, completely distraught by his sudden outburst.
“What the actual fuck are you talking about?”
Completely lost about where this attitude even came from, you run back the conversation you were having back at Weathervane: your wellbeing, school, an upcoming dance, the guy who asked you to said upcoming dance…
Bingo.
“Are you mad about me getting asked to a school dance?” You questioned, a hint of accusation to your voice.
“Yes, okay! I’m mad you got asked to your little dance at normie school!” Xavier exclaimed, standing up and looking down at you.
It takes all but two seconds before you're standing as well, mixed emotions of confusion and anger boiling inside you.
“Why would you be fucking upset! If anything you should be happy that your best friend is actually liked by someone for once.” You said in an exasperated tone. Why would your closest friend be upset about you finally getting attention from someone…unless he thinks you don’t deserve it.
“Well I’m not fucking happy.” He says while looking you straight in the eyes before sitting back in his chair, placing his elbows on the table and his head in his hands.
“Why not?” At this point, anything he said would probably end with you in tears, your heart broken, or both.
“Because I wanted to take you,” he says in a soft voice before running both hands through his hair and turning to face you. “Because I want to take you,” he reiterates.
You gape at him, eyes and lips slightly widened as you find the words to say.
To be honest, you have had feelings for Xavier for a while. When you first saw him, you thought he was an attractive guy. His long hair compliments his face so well, who wouldn’t? But it wasn’t until you started connecting that your feelings for him truly blossomed. You loved his artsy side, he was always surprising you with drawings and paintings he made of you, alongside ones he made simply to impress you with his “bring drawings to life” ability. He was always there to cheer you up if something was upsetting you at school, and he would constantly call or text you to see how you’re doing.
After all that gaping, the only thing you could think to say was “why would you want to do that?”
He gave a small chuckle-ish sigh before replying, “have I not been obvious, because I swear everyone else could see how much I like you except you.”
Thinking back at it now, yeah the man was super obvious, but that doesn’t mean you actually believe it..
“Seriously, Y/N. I know I’m being super obvious in my flirting tactics, but that’s just because I think you like me back. I mean obviously not if you’re going to a dance with someone else, but I-”
“Who said I’m going with somebody else?” You cut him off mid rant.
“The guy-.”
“If you would’ve actually let me finish my story instead of getting all jealous and gloomy, you would have heard me say that I didn’t even say yes.” You look at him with a slight smirk. “Matter of fact, I don’t think I even like anyone fro-”
“I knew it.”
“From my school. Xavier you seriously need to let a girl finish her storytimes,” you shake your head and softly laugh before looking back up at him.
The smile you’ve come to adore is finally resting upon his face once again.
“So…you want to take me to the dance,” you tease.
“I do,” he says as if it’s a simple fact.
“Are you gonna ask or…? Because I’ve got other options to weigh if this is gonna take all da-.”
He rushes towards you and envelopes you in a hug, though this one feels different than the ones you usually share.
“Would you allow me the great honor of taking you to your normie school dance?” He finishes as he sets you back upright and grazes his thumb over your cheek.
“I would love to go,” you smile up at him, leaning into his touch slightly.
“With me though, right? The other dudes are completely out of the picture?”
“Only with you,” you giggle at his playful antics. “Just you.”

You were walking to your best friends dorm, waving to Enid and Wednesday as they walk past, your legs growing tired from how large the school was and it didn’t help you were still in your school uniform and your brand new doc martens hadn’t broken in yet. Your feet were killing you
you finally had reached Xavier’s dorm and knocked on the door only to have no answer. You sigh pulling out the spare key Xavier had given you after Rowan had been expelled (or according to Wednesday, killed).
Opening the door you saw Xavier slumped back in his desk chair. You squinted at him before he let out a moan. The blush quickly rising from your neck to your face as your thighs clench at the noise. Your eyes widen, you can’t really have walked in on your best friend masturbating and then have found it hot, there’s got to be something wrong with you. Xavier lets out another loud moan and you whimper at the sound. Immediately he closes his sketchbook and whips his head around covering himself.
‘What are you doing here Y/N?!’
‘I’m-I’m so sorry Xavier I was, I was just coming to see you because I um got some weed from, from uh from Ajax and I was going to smoke um some with you’
‘God this is so humiliating’
You took this as a chance to tease him, while cruel, it was slightly funny
‘Were you really jacking off to a drawing you did?’
‘What? No I had my um my phone on my sketchbook’
He looks mortified and you only feel slightly bad when you reach to grab the sketchbook. He attempts to grab the book before quickly going to cover himself again.
As you flick through the pages, you can see him squirming in your peripheral.
Your eyes widen when they land on a drawing, a drawing of you and Xavier, but it was you riding him. Your eyes dart back to his face and he looks like he’s going to explode.
You smirk at him before placing the book down.
‘Make it move Xavier’
‘I-What?’
‘Make the drawing move’
He moves his hand over the drawing and it immediately starts to move. Your eyes trail over your naked drawn body, bouncing on top of Xavier. You watch as your drawn self throws her head back. You look over to Xavier and notice he’s palming himself slightly. Smirking, you reach over to his hand and remove it from his hard cock, you glanced at it, taking it in, it was at least 8 inches, it was thick but not to the point it would hurt, the tip was an angry red and you took in the neatly groomed pubes at the base.
You brought your hand to your mouth and spat in it before wrapping your hand around his cock. Immediately Xavier’s head was thrown back and you saw as his hands gripped the armrests, his knuckles turning white.
You smiled at his reaction. Your hand started moving up and down his cock at a fast pace, you rub your thumb over the slit of the head and he whimpers loudly, tears sprouting in the corners of his eyes. He looks at you in the eyes
‘Please, please Y/N, let me cum I need it so bad’
You smile at his begging and nod. You lean down and lightly lick at the precum on the tip, his hips bucking harshly as he cums down your hand.
He’s a panting mess when he comes down from his climax. Whispering quiet thank yous. You smile before licking the cum off your hand, you groan at the tangy musky taste that’s just so Xavier.
You turn around, bending over, rummaging through your bag before finding the weed that Ajax had given you. You toss the bag towards Xavier, he always rolls better joints. But instead of opening the bag he slams it down on the desk startling you.
You stand back up and notice Xavier’s dark expression. He stands up taking long strides towards you and you start walking backwards before your back hits the wall. Xavier smirks at your nervous expression. He leans down smashing your lips together.
You kissed him back just as feverishly as he was kissing you. He tasted like nothing you have ever tasted before. Your hands reach into his long hair and pull lightly, making him groan. He bites down on your bottom lip, making you gasp. He takes it as an opportunity to slide his tongue between your lips and into your mouth. You’re taken aback by the sudden confidence.
He finally breaks the kiss and you take in his swollen lips and tussled hair. He suddenly picks you up, hands under your thighs as you wrap your legs around his waist and your arms around his neck. He smiles when you gasp as he squeezes your thighs.
He tosses you onto his bed and you kick off your shoes and socks. Tearing off your jumper and attempting to unbutton your blouse before you’re stopped by Xavier. He rips your blouse open and you glare at him as he chuckles darkly. Hearing the buttons hit the wooded floor you groan internally as when you ask Enid to fix your now ruined blouse she will ask how it got damaged.
You could have sworn Xavier’s eyes bulged out of his head for a split second as he takes in your deep red lacy bra. You shrug the blouse off and unclip your bra as he rods himself of his own button down and took off his already opened pants.
You reach down to rid yourself of your skirt and when you do, you attempt to take off your panties as well. But Xavier stops you. Pushing you down onto his bed, you lean on your forearms to see what he was doing and you could feel yourself getting extremely wet as you watch him take your panties off with his teeth.
He spreads your thighs licking his lips and you stop him, clamping your thighs shut and he looks up at you expectedly
‘Xavier wait, you don’t have to do that, I know guys don’t really like doing that’
‘Oh Y/N, I’ve been wanting to taste this sweet pussy for months’
He pushes your thighs apart once more before licking a stripe up your dripping cunt. You groan in unison, Xavier starts to devour you as your hips buck into his face he stops you by placing a hand on your hips pushing you down. You feel as his tongue plunges into your dripping hole before sucking on your clit, he was so talented with his mouth.
You didn’t know where to put your hands and as you looked down you nearly came at the sight of him making eye contact with you as he sucks on your pulsing clit. He notices your hands hesitate before he grabs them to place in his hair. He smiles as you grip his hair tightly, once again bucking your cunt into his mouth. He pushed your hips down and bit your clit lightly, not hard enough to hurt but enough for you to yelp and get the message that he wants you to stop moving.
You didn’t think you could feel anymore pleasure but Xavier surprises you by plunging his fingers into your cunt, curling them, you feel yourself clenching around his fingers, he continues to thrust his long fingers into your g-spot and suck on your clit. You felt like you were going to pee, trying to push Xavier’s face away
‘Xavier please ‘m gonna pee’
He ignores your pleas and doubles down smirking into your pussy
You heard it before you felt it, a loud gushing noise as you felt a liquid shooting from your hole. You moan loudly as Xavier works you through your intense orgasm.
As you come down you begin to feel too sensitive. You pry his face away squirming back before looking down at him once more, noticing his chest and chin are soaked in juices.
‘Xavier I’m so sorry oh my god I didn’t even know I could do that’
‘You have nothing to be sorry for, that was so hot Angel’
He stands up before lying down on the bed. He motions for you to sit on top of him and you obey,
‘Shit, I don’t think I have any condoms’
‘It’s okay, im on birth control but if you feel safer with the condom and don’t want to do this anymore-‘
He cuts you off with a searing kiss
‘Oh baby and miss the chance to feel you cum on my cock? I want you to ride me to oblivion sweetheart’
You blush at his vulgar words before nodding. You align his hard again cock with your entrance and slowly lower yourself, you moan loudly and he whines, you start to bounce on top of him, throwing your head back with another loud moan. You bounce harder. Xavier’s hands coming to your hips to slam you down onto his cock, you let him guide you as you continue bouncing.
Xavier’s hands leave your hips and you whine at the loss of contact before whining as you felt his fingers come down onto your clit, rubbing it furiously as you feel yourself get closer to the edge you looked down at him, he looked incredible. So fucked out, so fucking hot.
‘Shit! Fuck oh Y/N ‘m gonna cum gonna cum’
His moans get louder as he reaches his climax, the hot spurts of cum tipping you over to the edge as well, as you moan loudly, bouncing on his dick a few more times as he whimpers from the overstimulation.
You collapse down onto his chest, feeling hot, sweaty, and need of a shower.
You look up at Xavier to see him staring back at you
‘I don’t know if you can tell but I really love you Y/N’
‘I love you too doofus. Have for months’
‘Well I’ve loved you since you transferred here’
You did the math realising he’s liked you for over a year.
You smile and kiss him before getting off him
‘Y/N how did this happen exactly?’ Enid questioned looking between you and the ripped blouse
‘Um well you see I kinda got attacked by a um a wolf’ you responded scratching the back of your neck
‘More like you got attacked by Xavier’ Wednesday mumbled. You snapped your head around to Wednesday glaring at her
‘Oh my god!’ Enid yells

Distraction | Xavier T.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
warnings ✩° : mutual pining, angry(?) confession, teasing, competition, cursing, rivals to lovers, both reader and xavier are 17-18 years old, fluff but also a tad spice.
pairing ✩° : xavier thorpe x fem!reader
premise ✩° :  on the day of the annual poe cup, you're put against your academic rival, xavier thorpe, and you don't want to lose. however, he has other plans of  getting the upper hand with you and knows exactly how to get his way. hes knocking out two birds with one stone, if you will.
word count ✩° : 3.4k
authors note ✩° : this was done in literally a few hours bc i’m obsessed and it needs to be addressed.
Tumblr media
The rules were simple.
They always have been. Follow what the people in charge told you and don't disappoint. If you disappoint them then you disappoint the whole community and what good are you if you're a disappointment. It was hard not to see school, ground zero for being the best, as a competition. In fact, you thrived working towards a goal of being superior than everyone else; maybe it was due to the fact that no matter what was put in front of you, you could understand it and write it off as done as soon as you wrote your name. However, there were some things you didn't get at times and that frustrated you.
Over the time you’ve known him, it’s been test after test, assignment after assignment, obscure experiment after obscure experiment to prove to this seemingly effortlessly perfect creature that you’re better than him, only for you to miss his mark by one. point.
“Maybe you should think less about being better than me and more about the material, Y/n.” Xavier would say, “But don’t worry, you ALMOST got the same score as me.”
It wasn't his snarky comments or obviously stronger memory than you that made you over the top angry, no, it was the fact that you couldn't understand how he was doing it. Nothing made sense and the feeling of not knowing made looking into his stupid hazel eyes, gazing at his sharp and defined side profile, and wispy long hair all the more annoying. Everything has to have answers. So why did he make your throat tighten every time you spoke to him? Or your face flush with dark shades of pink and red? It had to be anger. There was no other explanation.
All of the rivalry would eventually lead you both up to the annual Poe Cup. A boat race amongst four teams, five members from each house all stuck together on their respective hand crafted boats each representing a different Edgar Allen Poe poem.
You're on The Black Cat team while Xavier’s on The Amontillado team. For a whole week you spend with your team, preparing for the race and to utterly destroy Xavier because this will finally prove to yourself that you’re good at him at something.
“You ready to beat the shit out of Xavier, Y/n?” Your friend who knows your rivalry with the guy smiles at you, “Once WE have that cup he has to realize that all he is to you, is dirt.” She was right.
“Relax, F/n, why ruin my chances with excitement when I can take all of that and shove it in his face at the very end.”
Your other team mate taps you both on your shoulders, “You guys ready? It’s almost time.” With that, you watch everyone file into their boats, Xavier included, and so you and your friend make your way into your own seats. However, just before you adjust your headband on your head, you decide to catch a glimpse of the destined losers on each side of you. Though no one else is important right now other than seeing him, so you give a side eyed glance in Xavier’s direction.
To your surprise, not only is he already looking at you, but, “Is he laughing at me?”
Your friend looks towards Xavier as well and scoffs, “Yeah,” She confirms, “Looks like they all are. Fucking clowns.”
As you chew on the inside of your cheek out of anger, a sudden whistle blows from Ms. Weems accompanied by a large megaphone that amplifies her voice as she speaks.
You can tell out of the corner of your eye that ever since your friend had rudely thrusted her middle finger into the sky for all the jesters to see, Xavier hadn't stopped looking at you. His eyes, laser focused, burned into the side of your head and it only made you more anxious for the race. You bite your lip ever so slightly and fight back the urge to look at him too.
Thankfully, you're saved by a gunshot that explodes into the air and suddenly your team gets pushed into the water.
Of all things, why should you be thinking about Xavier Thorpe and what he has to say or look at you for? All this time, you've convinced yourself that you could care less what he thinks of you. After all, the reason you're trying so hard to be better than him is the very reason that motivates you every day to get up and face him. Otherwise, you'd be locked away in your dorm with nothing to do but attend class and repeat the cycle. In a way, he was your reason to wake up.
“Y/N! Duck!” Your friend suddenly snaps you out of your mechanical like motions of rowing as hard as possible. Wasting no time, you dodge the flying axe coming your way by a hair. “What the hell?! Y/n, focus!”
“I am focused, F/n.”
“No, you're not. You got that lost look in your eyes. Stop thinking about Xavier and maybe pay attention to all the objects being thrown around at us? So you don't die, and most importantly, so we can win this for our hall?”
For the rest of the distance from the starting line to the other end of the lake, you try not to look behind you as looking behind you would only distract you from the prize. All of your team puts in their all in rowing as fast as they can together in sync, each arm pushing at the exact same second as everyone else to really glide through the water. Despite nets being tossed, siren students diving under boats and tipping them over, and very small fire crackers being thrown into other boats, three teams are left remaining to the next stage of the race. Getting the flag.
“Go go go!” F/n pushes you up, “Get the black flag. We’ll be waiting here to look out for anybody.”
Not wanting to waste anymore time, you nod and start sprinting directly into the old, creaky forest. Dry leaves crunch under your feet in threes, making their crinkles the only noise in the entire forest. That’s good, you think, that means no one else came yet. Quickly jumping over logs and rocks, you make your way to the flag destination, only to see that your black flag is missing.
“What the—”
“Hey,” a voice calls out from behind you, “Looking for something?”
The cheesy line doesn't go without an eye roll as you turn around, “Xavier.”
“You don't seem too happy to see me.” Your rival stands with a shit eating grin on his face, comically extenuated with crimson, drippy paint.
You're quick to reply, “I'm not. You took my flag which I need to win this. So hand it over, Thorpe.”
He raises his hands and allows you to charge up to him just close enough so that you're barely touching the tips of his pointed shoes with your jet black boots. “What? Who says I have your flag? I JUST got here in case you hadn't noticed.”
“I actually haven't noticed. Because why would I stop to care about where you are?”
“You seemed to care when we first started.” Xavier leans down and twists his head slightly, just enough for you to be caught off guard and step back, “I saw you looking at me.” His tone makes you shrink back.
Heat rushes to your face in a fleeting panic and almost immediately, your chest twists your rib cage hard enough to squeak out, “I WASN'T LOOKING AT YOU! YOU were looking at ME!”
Xavier raises his brows and chuckles, “I remember differently.”
Of course he has to be cocky now. “Look, Xavier. Just forget this and let me go. Your gross sweat is getting all over me.”
“Oh is that so?”
“YESNOWLETGO.”
He snickers at your flustered nature but decides to go the extra mile and tease you further, “You do realize that we all have to get back, Y/n, its kinda the whole reason why we made it here. Though it looks like its just the two of us.” He turns to both of his sides and then directs his attention back to you, “I’d say we have a little time.”
Again, you emphasize, “WE don't have time. Unlike you, I actually WANT to win. Xavier, I don't know what your deal is or why you're so obsessed with me and making me look like a complete and utter fool, but once I win this for my team, it ends. Do you understand me?”
Xavier exhales deeply, “You know, for someone who’s so high strung and smart, you're really dumb, aren't you?”
“What?”
He steps forward, causing you to back into a tree. You can feel the roughness of the tree bark as it etches its way across the backside of your suit, causing a mildly discomforting feeling that shivers throughout your skin. Before you can move forward, Xavier steps closer, basically eliminating any means of escaping.
“Why am I so obsessed with you? Is that what you think this is? Obsession?”
You look up at him to find his naturally tall stature hunched over to be at eye level with you. Surely, if anyone to walk into the scene, they’d think you two were stopping the competition just to make out. Even though Xavier’s hand is firmly pressed just between your ear and shoulder and he was just over an inch close to you so that your noses are barley touching, it’s not like that at all. Yet, at least.
“That’s what I just asked.” Your eyebrows stitch together bitterly, “Can you not hear, clown? You don’t understand how hard it is for me to watch my reputation die because of you and your perfect grades and your perfect art. What makes you think you can just parade yourself around to be better than me?!” The questions leave a burning sensation in your throat.
“Reputation? Grades? Is that what this is about?”
“YES! Are you DENSE?!”
Instead of matching your violent glower, you watch as the clown leans his head to the side in laughter. His lips parting just enough so you can see his sharp teeth laugh at you too, “Y/n, did you just call me dense? What is that? An insult? At least I’m not the one who always scores lower than me.”
Embarrassment? Anger? Nervousness? Why was his laugh the thing to make you feel weak now? Maybe the first two are theories, but the third is a definite fact. Your eyes are quickly drawn in by his hazel pupils, curious and dilated as they stare back at you. For a moment, the silence between you two isnt filled with hate or rivalry, but peace. That is until he lets out a breathy laugh after getting a good look at your calm face for once.
“Y/n, cat got your tongue? Or do you just not have anything else to say to me other than ‘I hate you’ and ‘stop being better than me’?” He points a finger to your feline head accessory.
"Shut up.” You bark, “Dumb isn’t really a good insult either. You are so full of shit—"
Xavier moves closer, now toe to toe with you and just a breath away from your face.
“God, Y/n, cant you see that I like you? All this time I thought it was so obvious. I mean, how are you going to tell people you're the smartest person in the room when you cant even pick up on subtle hints that basically spell it out for you?” He says, “Or are you too busy to notice anyone other than yourself?”
His words cause your heart to pound once, twice, and before you know it you can’t hear anything but the thumping in your chest and the soft winds surrounding you both. Xavier parts his lips again, determined to give you the answers you've been so desperately searching for.
“Do you know how fucking exhausting it is to pretend I hate you back, just to have the opportunity to talk to you?” His tone is exasperated and shallow, but he doesn't break eye contact with you, “You seriously thought all those times we got close was because I wanted to be ‘better’ than you in some subject?” Almost like he doesn't believe you, Xavier shakes his head in disapproval, “The only time Ive wanted to prove to you I'm worth something is now.”
His confession only fills your head with more questions, “That doesn't even make any sense! How can you say you didn't actually want to be better than me when that's all you did?” You feel the heat saturate into a dark pink that settles into your cheeks, “And why are you telling me all this now? Why are you so adamant on telling me that you—”
Xavier doesn't even acknowledge your questions, he just continues to hold a burning tension between you and him, focusing only on one thing.
Fuck.
Maybe its the fact hes so close, or that he told you hes liked you all this time, but right now it feels like nothings stopping you from telling him too. It just feels so right.
Before you know it, your mouth opens on its own, your bottom lip trembling for just a second. Xavier’s eyes trail down to your lips, then back into your eyes, and a small smirk pulls the corner of his ivory painted skin up.
Without another second to lose, Xavier tilts even closer than he thought he’d ever be to you and cups your cheek, finding the courage you both need to pull you into an unexpected kiss.
The pastiness of your rival’s white face paint rubs against your dewy skin as the taste of him spreads across your pallet, rough, warm, and agonizingly slow. With a gentle hand, you bunch the back of Xavier’s thin yet airy suit and fall into him, curving just enough so he can extend his hold on you.
Xavier knew that he wanted to touch you. It’s basically been his dream ever since he got close to you and seemingly hurdled himself into being your rival. But he’d never admit that. Or maybe, now he would. Gently, Xavier clasps onto your hips more carefully, securely rubbing his fingers against the skin tight latex uniform you were forced to wear which gives him enough grip to hook his desperate palms onto your body.
You break away for a second, just long enough to look at his face and how mesmerized he is by you and just how fucked you are in this downward spiral of messy feelings and requited love. Love you are much too afraid to commit to. But, Xavier pulls you back into his lips and makes you forget all of your worries, even the one you're supposed to be most worried about.
The kiss practically captures you for what seems like an eternity, erasing all memory of the Poe Cup and time spent hating Xavier's guts only to now realize that that hate may have been fueled by a painfully simple crush. But you wouldn't admit that either. Though, now there’s no other explanation to the methods behind your madness.
Soon enough, your hands find their rightful place in his long, messy hair, scooting his jester cap off easily. Had you known his hair was this soft before? You always told yourself you didn't care but now it was too hypnotizing not to twirl your fingers in. In fact, it’s practically asking you to grab it and play with it, screaming at you to touch it, touch him.
Xavier’s hips press into yours, giving you the go ahead to adjust your position so that your thigh is comfortably resting atop his hip. The stance feels too natural to be normal, and you're both caught off guard by it. Yet, you continue to taste him and feel him up close without another thought.
Nipping at your bottom lip, you can feel Xavier let out a sigh of relief, as if kissing you has been something on his mind for years. Only half of that could be true. Still, his victory cheer makes you do your own version with a quieter huff.
You give the roots of his hair a tight squeeze before your shoulders relax and another sigh escapes from your now open mouth. The force of his lips smashing against yours pushes you back successfully, leaving each part of your body to surrender to his. For once, you let it and as much as you hate to admit it, whatever he was doing was working.
When he finally pulls away, your breath is harsh and so is his. No matter how hard you could try, looking away from his hazy eyes was not an option. Just like the fog around you both, his gaze is inescapable and suffocating. You knew kissing your rival was a bad idea, but neither one of you want to move your hands from their proper places on each other.
Just then, a distant voice calls out to Xavier that snaps you out of your absentmindedness. “Shit,” Xavier curses softly against your lips, “Thanks for that Y/n,” he pulls away, much to your hidden displeasure, “But...I have a cup to win.”
Suddenly, it all comes hurdling back.
“FUCK! THE RACE!” You tear yourself away from Xavier, breaking the warmth between you both, and scramble to find your flag, “YOU CONNIVING SON OF A BITCH. YOU DISTRACTED ME!”
“I hope you don't mind but I actually sort of hid it.” He grins slyly at you, straightening his suit with a swift rub on his chest, “No rules, remember?” He pulls out a flag from behind him and snickers. Has he had that this entire time?
A flash of surging anger fumes inside of your chest, but Xavier just smiles. In his mind, it’s almost laughable how you fell for his devious yet successful confession slash plan. It was too good to pass up. And judging by the sour pout on your face, it worked!
“Y/n,” He chirps, “Was I a good distraction?” He can’t help but ask.
You avoid his gaze and turn your head to other possible directions your flag can be in, “You're the worst, Xavier.”
He runs a hand through his brown hair and smooths it down, “Right, right. You hate me. But I got you pretty good, didn’t I?” He picks up his jester cap and lazily smashes it onto the top of his head, “I'm gonna go, but, you should totally meet me in my dorm tonight? At 8?”
He makes his hasty exit before you can reply, leaving you breathless and weak in the knees—mostly tight fisted and furious, but still, weak in the knees.

“So, Y/n. Do you want to explain why you...left for so long..?” Your teammate asks, kind of scared to ask in the first place but confusion was eating her alive. How fitting.
Instead of answering, you reply with strong and swift robotic motions that quickly thunk your boat along the shore line, taking a good chunk out of the grass and soil. Unfortunately, half way through your synchronized rowing, some water kicked up into the boat and soaked your costume. You didn't care though. All you wanted was Xavier.
And his head on a stick.
Sounds of congratulatory cheers erupt from the crowd as Xavier and the rest of his jester-like teammates hold up the Poe Cup trophy together.
“Bitch.” Is all you can say when all your other teammates wash up next to you, sad, defeated, and soaked with murky lake water.
“Well get them next time, Y/n. Don’t be so hard on yourself!” Your friend smiles happily.
Yeah. Tonight.

It was becoming harder and harder to actually focus on what he was saying. Every few seconds, he would have to run his hand through his hair to push it away from his face as it fell in his eyes. Did he not have a hair tie? He usually did, so why, of all days, did he not have one now when his hair seemed to be the biggest bother of them all? Not even the way he spoke of Tyler could make her think he was more of a bother than his own hair.
To anyone around, it would not seem as though she listened to what she was told, as she just focused on a spot in front of her and let him talk. But she was, truly. Listening was one of the things she was best at, and she really wanted to hear Xaviers' reasons for why he disliked Tyler so much. Seeing as she had yet to meet him, she wanted to understand why he found the guy annoying and often rolled his eyes whenever she mentioned her sister just saying something about him.
If y/n ever told Xavier that Wednesday had been to talk to Tyler, he would scoff, then just tell her he was an asshole, idiot, bitch—or just whatever bad word he could come up with to call him. She would never admit it out loud, but she had labeled Tyler as an asshole ever since Xavier called him one.
After spending so much time together, the two quickly became close. Xavier had been intrigued by her since she came to Nevermore with Wednesday. He was intrigued by the fact that she did not appear to show much emotion on the surface, but as he got to know her, he discovered that she cared for people more than most people realized.
On the other hand, y/n had been pretty reserved in the beginning. She always eyed the tall boy strangely whenever he talked to her, and there was a certain kind of caution in her about actually getting to know someone. He had yet to learn why she had been so wary at first.
Now, Xavier had not noticed how quiet she had been for the past few minutes. He was too busy shittalking Tyler to notice. The fact that y/n wanted to listen and had said, "Please enlighten me. I'm genuinely curious as to why." So seeing as she had finally asked him to tell why, he had started off just telling how Tyler and his friends had destroyed his mural and jumped him. That slowly turned into a rant about everything he found annoying with him that had now gone on for the past five minutes.
Xavier had not gotten any kind of implication that she listened anymore. The silence that had become all too noticeable from her, as well as the looks they had received from fellow students, were not unnoticed. Just to kind of get an idea if she seemed to listen, he leaned forward to see her face. She was indeed just staring into space.
He let out a sigh that made her blink, turning to see that he had stopped talking and running his hand through his hair for the hundredth time. "And you're not paying attention, are you?"
Turning, he saw that she was now looking at him, blinking, and in her eyes he could see the confusion that did not fall upon her face.
"Who said that I'm not? Because I most certainly have been paying attention." It wasn't that she hadn't listened; she just thought it better to stay quiet and let people talk without disturbing them.
"What have I even been talking about then?" His tone was challenging; he was leaning forward and maintaining eye contact with her the whole time, a smug smile on his face.
"You started by explaining why you dislike Tyler, but then you just started mentioning everything that irritates you about him, which was about twelve different things, and all while doing so, your hair has been bothering you."
"So you did listen," It was not actually a question to be answered, yet he got one either way.
"Yes, I did." She paused for just about a second. "I have to admit that you constantly having to fix your hair was quite irritating."
"I don't have a hair tie." Even if he knew he didn't have one, he looked down at both his wrists just to make sure and felt through his pockets, seeing if one had magically appeared (though that wouldn't be a surprise, this was Nevermore after all.)
"Here." Turning his head back at the sound of her voice, he was met by y/n holding up a black hair tie in front of him to take. This caused him to take a second look at her; she looked at the hair tie and then up at him, silently telling him to take it.
"Thanks," Was he feeling cocky about seeing just the slightest of hesitation in her eyes while she looked at him? Yes, he surely did.
Their fingers were brushing as he took the hair tie from her, but as soon as Xavier had a grip on the hair tie, she quickly retracted her hand. With a smirk, Xavier gathered up the top part of his hair into a half-up, half-down style just to get the most annoying part of his hair away from his face.
"If your hair is being such a bother, maybe you should consider cutting it." It came out so suddenly that his hands just dropped from tightening the hair tie, and he turned to her with a questioning look. He thought she liked his hair as it was; at least Ajax said that's what Enid had told him.
"I sure hope there's an and—or a but to that." Xavier was able to detect just the tiniest bit of hesitation in her, as she seemed to have an and or but to that suggestion.
Swallowing hard, she could feel herself struggling to come up with the words to say it. This was what Enid had said: compliments can be a good start, but y/n was not one who ever really gave compliments. Plus, if she had gotten to know one thing about Xavier, it was that anything that would, in his ears, be considered a compliment was going to boost his ego. as if he didn't already have a bit of an ego.
"But," Turning just slightly to face him, there was already an amused smirk growing on his face. Her cheeks were growing increasingly hotter. "I don't think you should, because I like it as is."
"What would you do if I did cut it, though?" Yes, this was feeding into his ego a bit more, but to be honest, his insides were feeling as if butterflies flapped their wings a bit harder than they usually did. y/n looked around at the people in the courtyard while thinking about the question, also looking for the three others that were to join them.
"You would be six feet under."
"Oh, that's how much you actually like my hair." It was really amusing for Xavier to torture her like this, as somehow he could make out that she was getting a bit flustered by all this. He stood at his full height and poked her sides, making her jump and squirm.
"Stop that," y/n told him while swatting at his hands and being able to smack them a few times when he went to poke her sides even more.
As she struggled to smack his hands away from poking her even more, there was something that made him stop. Her lips had unconsciously pulled into a small smile that made him stop completely. Xavier had actually never really seen her smile; most of the time if she felt a smile pull on her lips, she would cover it up in some way, but this smile was one she had not noticed herself.
Just as he was about to say something about it, she was pulled away from him. Enid had been quick when walking up to the two and hooked her arm with y/n's, pulling her away from standing so close to Xavier. Both of them were taken by surprise.
"y/n!" Enid cheered loudly while holding on to the girl's arm and hugging her, earning a side eye from y/n, who then glanced at Xavier.
"My friend." Enid said, just as Wednesday and Ajax had caught up to them, shooting a glare at Xavier, who simply raised his hands at the werewolf-girl.
"Rude." Before the other two reached them, Xavier just took a last glance at her, trying to see if her smile was still there, but it wasn't. He liked it; the way she smiled made his insides flutter even more.
He wanted—no, scratch that. He needed to see that smile again.
——
Spending time in Jericho was better than being at Nevermore and having classes. No long boring classes about plants, no math, no assignments to do—just a day where all students could take a break from school. And sure, some of the work they could do in Jericho was maybe not the most entertaining, but all of the students from Nevermore saw any work as better than just sitting in school. Most normal people would consider school at Nevermore to be fun and unique, but it was simply a school designed for odd people, such as the Nevermore students, to feel less odd.
It had been Enid, who did not want to stand y/n just sitting around as they worked, telling her she would stab her eyes out with fire irons while being bored, who had given her the idea. So Enid told the Addams girl about a certain tall, blonde-brunette boy who was probably bored out of his mind at the Weathervane Cafe (it was a desperate attempt to get them together); she knew he would be; Xavier told her that Tyler worked there, so it would not really be his favourite thing ever. So that was where she was heading.
It was slightly cold outside, being autumn and all. The winds that blew the leaves around made it colder as she walked down the pavement of Jericho, seeing the cafe sign only about a hundred feet in front of her. When she finally arrived at the door, she did not hesitate to push it open, allowing herself to be engulfed by the warmth from within.
It was calm; not too many people were there; only about ten other people were there. There were a few duos that conversed with one another while simultaneously sipping on their coffee, tea, or whatever they were drinking. Four of the other ten people sat alone, one of them an elderly man who sat in one of the corners with a cup of black coffee and a brownie while reading the newspaper.
She took off her jacket, as it was warm enough inside without it. The cafe was placed just perfectly in town, as one could look out the windows and see the town just outside. The smell of coffee was the most noticeable of all, something y/n did not care for because she found the bitterness unpleasant.
Walking around the counter so she could look at all the drinks and things they sold, she found that there was no one at all behind the counter.
The calm was soon broken, however, when someone working there walked in, though it was not Xavier but a boy with shorter, curly hair. Something to know about y/n was that when she was out and about, she would not have her eyes completely relaxed so as to not seem so closed off, even though her voice wouldn't be the most expressive one, just to make people not feel as though they passed her off.
"Hello, is there anything I could get you?" The boy behind the counter gave her a slight smile, prompting her to mentally repeat what Enid had suggested she try.
"Hot chocolate, with some whipped cream and marshmallows." The boy behind the counter nodded and took out a mug to start making her drink, but she just turned around with a question on her mind, and y/n noticed he wanted to ask something. "Yes?"
"It's just that you remind me of someone I know," Her eyes narrowed in response to his statement. "Ehm, what's your name?"
"y/n Addams." He had just gone back to start making her drink and once again turned back to where she stood on the other side of the counter.
"You're Wednesday's sister, she's told me about you." Not true; she hadn't told him about him, just mentioned her sister. She knew that much about her sister. But, even if she didn't seem to care all that much, family was the one thing she cared about and only ever seemed to care about her. But Wednesday would never tell anybody just all about y/n, she knew that.
y/n realised who she was speaking with. The boy with whom Wednesday only briefly conversed and interacted. But he was the one who jumped Xavier with his friends. Okay, so you know what I said earlier about y/n already labelling Tyler as an asshole because of Xavier? Yeah, that still remains. She let her eyes that she had keept a bit less relaxed, finally, relax which made her whole expression change. Only Tyler appeared to be unconcerned.
"That means you are Tyler." Her eyes flickered over to a figure coming into her view, someone that Tyler could not see.
As soon as y/n mentioned her name, the blond-brunette in the back perked up from his sulking over having to work with Tyler. With furrowed brows, he had walked in behind the counter and now stood about twelve feet behind Tyler, leaning against the wall. Xavier knew that she had seen him enter, and just for the heck of it, he crossed his arms and waited to see how long it would take for Tyler to notice he was there.
"Yeah, yeah. Your sister has mentioned me?" It was a miracle he didn't notice her averting her gaze to Xavier with a questioning look in her eyes before returning her gaze to Tyler.
"Yes, my sister..."
Just as he was about to say something more, Tyler finally caught on that y/n were looking at someone behind him. Turning around, he saw Xavier leaning against the wall, arms crossed, with an annoyed look on his face. He raised a brow at the curly haired boy before looking at y/n who was looking between the two boys.
"You two know each other?" Tyler finally spoke as he turned to y/n; the question was directed at her, but it seemed that Xavier was about to answer, though y/n did not let him even utter a word before answering.
"Yes, he is my friend," y/n said after a brief pause. "And told me all about you."
Right then and there, Tyler realised why she had gone from looking a little tired to having a completely annoyed face when looking at him. Her tone signalled to him that she was hinting at just what he thought it to be. For him, it was awkward.
Finally having enough, Xavier pushed off the wall and walked towards where Tyler was behind the counter, clearly using his height as intimidation. "I'll just take this."
"Oh yeah.." With a glance at each of them, Tyler swiftly walked to start cleaning up some tables from previous customers that had left.
"Well," Xavier said, leaning forward on the counter, which she stood on the other side of. "Have you made your own assessment of him?"
"Asshole." That was all y/n said, and it made the boy in front of her chuckle, which in turn had an effect on y/n as her lips tugged into a smile at the sound of his laughter.
"You are right about that." Looking back up at her with a smile, his eyes flickered to her lips at the sight of her smile once more.
It was as if, for the past week, he had been playing "find the smile" on her. Trying to catch every smile she'd ever give, he'd seen about eight so far, nine including this one. She was good at hiding most of them. It was something about the way he smiled that he couldn't quite put his finger on, but it felt important. The fact that y/n seemed not to know that she did smile and that every time she did, he got to enjoy it.
"What are you doing here, either way?" Shaking his head, he asked just to come back to reality.
"To cut a long story short, there was an issue with the number of volunteers, so I couldn't work with Enid and my sister at Pilgrim World. Enid said I should go and spend time with someone who I actually enjoy spending my time with, so here I am."
"Oh, so you do enjoy spending time with me. Good to know I wasn't imagining it then." Her smile was still present on her face, which made this the longest she had ever held a smile.
"If I didn't, then me and Wednesday would have spent our first night here enjoying gravedigging. Though that would be fun to do again." y/n trailed in thought as she remembered just how long it was since she and her sister had been gravedigging. They really needed to do that again.
"You know at this point that whenever you say something like that, it's just an empty threat," Xavier pointed out while standing up, pushing off the counter. "You like me too much to do something like that to me. Admit it."
"Will you just make me that hot chocolate of mine that I never got?" y/n sighed, trying to dodge what he had just said. But he would not let it go.
"Not unless you admit that you like me too much to ever carry out your threats against me."
Her jaw tightened in annoyance as she watched him stand back and cross his arms again, waiting for her to admit it.He was gloating at her frustration at having to say it just so she could get that drink. His gloating was also not he was god at hiding, clear as day showing he found satisfaction in making her admit to things she would never say out loud. He had gotten to know her too well.
"Fine.. I like you too much to ever carry out any of my threats. Now can please have my hot chocolate or I'll leave you here alone with Tyler for the rest of the day, Xavier." He did not care for the glare she was shooting him as he got what he wanted, letting out a chuckle once more.
"One hot chocolate is coming right up."
——
Music played softly in the background. y/n had just switched from one song on Xaviers' playlist to another as she felt the previous one was not one she could read to. Xavier didn't mind; he let her know the password to his phone for a reason—he wanted her to also enjoy the music being played and not just him. She just put his phone on the bench in his shed and turned back to her book.
This had all been Xaviers' idea. He had slowly wanted to spend more and more time with y/n, starting to steal her away from Enid and Wednesday, much to Enid's distaste. The werewolf girl had made it very clear to him that "I'm watching you, Thorpe." Not that he felt too threatened by the blond, as it was more Wednesday that he was a bit more worried about. Seeing as she was already keeping a close eye on them, she often narrowed her eyes at Xavier when he came and asked if y/n wanted to come with him.
Anyway, it had all been his idea. y/n knew about his shed, where he spent most nights painting, she had been there quite a few times with him, and he enjoyed the company. He would be painting, sketching, or just doing whatever as y/n would sit with a book in hand, engulfed in the story as they always had music on in the background too.
Today was like any other time when Xavier asked if she wanted to come to the shed with him. He had just simply asked after dinner if she wanted to, and as always, he got a yes. They had simply just done a turn for the girls' dorm, where y/n had gone inside her, Enid, and Wednesday's shared dorm and taken the book she had just started reading.
It was always amusing to Xavier because whenever they went to Y/N's dorm so she could get a book and he was waiting outside, he would hear Y/N threaten Enid. Then Enid would say something as y/n opened the door once more before being cut off again by the door closing. It was always amusing to him.
Today, though, Xavier did have a motive for bringing her out to his shed.
Again he turned his head just to get a glimpse at y/n as she read her book, then took a look back at his canvas, so far he had gotten the general shape. Inspiration had been low when they first got there about an hour earlier (they got there much later than they usually did as it was slowly pulling towards curfew), but her just sitting there, reading on, gave him something to paint. He would of course tell her when he had started to actually get to the details so as not to spook her, but first he just wanted to get in a rough sketch of her.
y/n had just gotten to page 393. Oliver and James, the characters in her book, were backstage between two acts. Oliver demanded knowing the truth, and it was keeping y/n on edge as James was quiet and did not answer. That confirmed it all; it was him, and it made y/n gasp, causing Xavier to turn his head.
He raised his brows at her, an affectionate smile on his lips as he watched her. "What?"
"James just confessed to Richard's murder, though Richard deserved it."
"Okay, I'm going to pretend I know what's going on in your book." He turned back to the canvas to do his own. But he still found the way she had gasped at the book cute.
"The character accidentally killed the asshole character, and the police have just found out and are there to arrest him." It was a simple explanation, but it gave him the least bit of understanding for what was happening in her book. She had only about thirty pages left, so I could not wait much longer until she was done.
"Interesting." Xavier nodded while just adding a bit of simple lining for the background of the painting. "Could you switch to that Russian song?"
"Which? I know more than one Russian song." She put down her book and took up his phone once more, tapping in the password.
"You know, that one you found when you and Ajax were looking for music."
"Are you referring to Molchat Domas тоска?" Without even waiting for an answer, she put on the song and turned to see if it was the right one. He gave it a thumbs up to indicate that it was the correct song. But he didn't turn away from the canvas, staring at it intensely to see if everything was to his liking (which it was).
y/n leaned on the stool she had been sitting on while reading to see the canvas, seeing just an outline or idea for what he was going to paint. She was completely unaware that it was her. "Even now, I know it will look excellent once you're done."
She did not think much of it and picked up her book once more to read the last few pages of it and see what the outcome was. Would Oliver and James see one another again now that Oliver was set free after doing his time?
For Xavier, however, the comment was more than just a passing thought. Because he knew she didn't often compliment people, he was completely taken aback.Eyeing her.
"You think?" He only got a hum and a nod as an answer to his question, but it did not give him satisfaction.
He then came to realise one thing: he still had his brush in his hand, and it still had wet paint on it. Looking up from the brush in his hand to the girl, whose eyes were darting across the page, she was too preoccupied with what was going to happen next to notice the malicious grin on his face as he raised his hand with the brush in it. Quickly, he flicked his wrist in her direction, causing paint from his brush to splash at her.
She jumped at the sudden sensation of something wet splashing on her face. Blinking, she raised her hand and wiped her face, only to discover paint on her hand. Turning her gaze up to Xavier, she could see him trying to keep from laughing at her reaction.
"What?" y/n closed her book and stood up, her entire face now a question mark.
"You think it's going to look good when I'm done?" Unbelievable.
"Yes, I just told you that, Xavier." Sometimes she wondered if he was deaf, but deep down she knew that he made her repeat things because he found it amusing.
"Okay, just checking in."
Annoyed that he had gotten paint on the cover of her book, she grabbed the paintbrush from his grasp and did the same thing he had done to her, flicking the brush, making it splatter paint on his face. When he opened his eyes and looked down at her, he scoffed and quickly grabbed one of his other brushes, starting to repeatedly flick paint on y/n.
As a result, a paint splashing match ensued. Both of them were flicking paint at one another, and whoever got it on them jumped just slightly at the cold liquid. Then, when both of them stopped, neither of them flicking paint at each other, Xavier quickly looked y/n up and down before reaching out and painting a single stroke with the brush on her cheek.
And they were both on each other once more. They had paint strokes on their faces; Xavier had a few on his shirt; their arms; and they both had paint splatters in their hair. It was fun, with Xavier laughing as y/n was able to do one long stroke on his cheek just before he could smack her hand away. And she was smiling, a smile that was all too strong to be held back, and it did not go unnoticed by herself. She felt it, but smiling always felt good when it had something to do with Xavier.
Finally, Xavier had enough and dropped his brush on the floor, not really caring, and to stop y/n he grabbed a hold of her wrists, holding onto her and keeping her from getting more paint on him, but his hold on her wrists was gentle.
"Okay, that's enough." He could feel her struggle a little in his hold on her wrists, but his focus was on her smile. She did not directly look at him, but she smiled, and this time it was obvious that she was very aware of it.
Looking up at him, her arms relaxing in his grip, she was met by his green eyes, which were already watching her. Her eyes flickered between his, unsure of what to do. She panicked inside as this was new territory she was stepping onto. But then it hit her how short it was until curfew, and she turned her head, seeing that darkness had started taking over the outside world.
"I should go before curfew," y/n mumbled, but just as she went to pull away from him, Xavier pulled her directly back.
It surprised her when his hands went from holding her wrists to holding either side of her face. His hands had a few undried patches of paint that transferred over to her face. But she didn't care. The way she was holding her face made her look up at him; it was hard to look anywhere else. "You should smile more."
Xavier studied her face, which both had brushstrokes and paint splatters here and there, much like his also had, stroking his thumb against her cheekbone before leaning down a little just to place a kiss at the crown of her head. Not wanting to go all too fast.
y/n just stood there and let him, feeling a warmth inside her even when he pulled away and smiled a little. Seeing just the tiniest bit of shock in her eyes.
"I don't want to get you in trouble, so go." He noticed she only paused for a second before returning to reality, turning to the table, and taking her book. It was amusing yet adorable to watch the pure confusion on her face.
She turned and looked at him before walking out of his shed and back to her dorm. A genuine smile was on his face. "Goodnight, Xavier."
"Night, y/n." Something was waiting for her in her dorm, or it should have been. Otherwise, a certain hand was going to do some shit.
Reaching her dorm, confusion was still painted on her face, but as soon as she entered, y/n was met by a bouncing Enid who jumped up and down. Taking her out of the trance that Xavier had put her in, so many rushed words were coming out of Enid's mouth, and she was clearly excited about something. Spotting her sister standing off to the side, it took her just a moment to understand what was going on.
"Oh my god, y/n! Look at your bed! Look at your bed!" It was the first words Enid said to y/n taht she could detect as the blond hurriedly pushed her towards her bed.
"What is going on?" y/n asked her sister, mind still elsewhere.
"Just do as she says," Wednesday was clearly tired by the way she motioned for her to follow Enid over to her own bed.
So she did, and her bed was indeed so etching to look at—something she hadn't noticed before on her perfectly made bed. There laid a necklace, a silver one. Thing picked it up for her, holding it out for her to take, and he nodded at the hand that just stood on her bed. Behind her, Enid was looking over her shoulder at the necklace. It was silver with a peal in a little thing. There was only a single note that read: to y/n.
Enid squeaked beside her out of happiness as Wednesday took the necklace out of her hands to inspect it closer. "Oh my god, you have a secret admirer!"
"How did it get in here? It was not there before, correct?" Wednesday handed the necklace back to y/n.
"Correct," She wanted to say what she thought out loud but bit her own tongue just as Enid stopped spinning around and flopped down on her own bed. Babbling on and on about something that again just became distant words. All the while, Wednesday seemed to also have her own thoughts on it. y/n smiled at the necklace.
It was something Xavier had wanted to see, but this had been the easiest way to do it.
He got a bit more out of the night than just being able to get that necklace to her.

The Nevermore murders | Ghostface!Xavier Thorpe x Addams!Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: Shortly after the Addams twins make their arrival at Nevermore Academy, a series of gruesome murders among the student body begins. As bodies pile up, Wednesday gets into investigating and gets to the conclusion that the victims all have one thing in common: they are members of the Nevermore Academy's secret society.
What if the killer was among the members of the Nightshade society?
Word count: 8.4k
Warnings: This fic has smut, blood, violence, murders, knife play and more. If that’s not your thing, do not read it.
A/N: Xavier will be a little ooc in this for the plot’s sake
I want to say a special thank you to @lightofdawnxo who helped me get to the end of this fic
An early riser of Nevermore Academy stumbled upon a gruesome display in the quad on Monday morning. The body of Yoko Tanaka was found hooked to one of the branches of the tree.
Principal Weems felt disturbed by the brutality of the act. Whoever had done this must be a total lunatic.
According to the books, vampires are immortal, but by the amount of blood that was spilled into the fountain — likely caused by a stab in her heart —, Yoko was dead.
When you descended from your dorm, everyone was crowding the entrance of the quad. The unusual scene drew your attention. You tried to see above the crowd, but all you could make out was yellow ribbons and Jericho police officers.
‘’Did somebody die?’’ you asked in your typical dark humor.
The girl beside you turned her head in your direction, looking as if she had seen a ghost. ‘’Haven’t you heard? Yoko was murdered.’’
*
Before Nevermore could grieve their classmate, another body was found.
The whole student body was at the harvest festival when a scream was heard in the woods: Bianca Barclay's. At her feet laid the dead body of her fellow siren and close friend, Kent. His throat was sliced and blood was gushing out while his wide eyes were staring right back at her.
She crouched down and touched his arm — the body was still warm.
The crunch of a tree branch snapping under a foot put Bianca into alert mode. ‘’Hello?’’ she called into the dark woods, checking one of the most cliché — and dumb — things one says in a horror movie.
She looked around as her hands trembled, terrified Kent’s killer was still there. He had talked to her half an hour ago, right before going to meet his Grindr date. Whoever did this couldn’t be far.
The leaves rustled and twigs snapped as someone approached Bianca from behind.
‘’Bianca! I heard a scream—’’ Divina cut herself off with a scream of her own, seeing Kent on the ground just as Bianca caught a masked figure between trees.
*
The next day during breakfast, Kent’s name was on everyone’s lips.
‘’It’s the second death in the span of a week,’’ Ajax pointed out, stabbing a piece of pancake from his plate.
‘’Murder,’’ Xavier corrected, taking a seat beside you. Since it was the weekend, his uniform was replaced by a darker hoodie and regular tee shirt. ‘’Yoko had a knife in her heart and Kent’s throat was slit. They were murdered.’’
Before you, Enid gulped and pushed her half empty plate away, no longer hungry. Yoko was one of her great friends. The imaginative visual of her hanging by the tree in the quad made her stomach churn.
You felt Xavier drape an arm behind you to keep a hand on the small of your back, more protective since the beginning of the murders. ‘’Bianca told Weems she saw someone in the woods after finding Kent’s body,’’ you reported.
‘’The killer?’’ Enid asked in a hushed voice, the same way one would talk about Voldemort in Harry Potter.
‘’Possibly.’’ You popped a blueberry in your mouth and leaned back against Xavier.
Ajax sighed. ‘’Nevermore used to be the safest place for outcasts. Now, someone is out there killing our classmates.’’
‘’Who agrees to meet someone they met on a dating app in the woods? It’s almost like he ran after his own death,’’ Wednesday said, breaking her silence at the end of the table.
‘’How can you say that?’’ Enid gasped, shocked by her roommate’s indelicate words.
You backed your sister. Her words were wrongly chosen, but Kent wasn't the brightest one of the bunch and his death proved it. ‘’Wednesday is right. Don't you guys watch horror movies?’’
*
After a few days of peace, Divina joined her twin brother and became the third victim of the Nevermore Academy murders. She was found by the lake, gutted like a fish. Although barbarous, it was ironic and well thought out by the killer.
‘’First Yoko and now Divina? This is unfair,’’ Enid cried on her bed, saddened by her friends’ deaths.
‘’Life is unfair, Enid,’’ Wednesday deadpanned, not helping her roommate’s crying. She was terrible at comforting people.
‘’Why would someone want to kill them? Kent partnered up with Bianca to sabotage the other teams at Poe Cup, but he’s never done anything so horrible that would make someone want to kill him. Neither did Yoko and Divina. I don’t understand.’’
‘’Murderers are difficult to understand,’’ you said, having read your fair share of books about serial killers.
The petite werewolf looked up from her pink heart pillow, tear stains on her face from crying. ‘’Why can't the police find them? It’s their job to keep people safe and catch the bad guys and put them behind bars. I don’t think I can handle another murder…’’
Enid was an emotional person. She was so destroyed by the loss of her friends, it was heartbreaking to see. These murders were hard on her, but unfortunately you didn’t have any words to bring her comfort. You tried getting Ajax to come over to comfort her, but getting past the housemaster was impossible.
You grabbed Wednesday’s headless doll and played with the buttons of her dress. She owned an identical dress, which made the doll creepier. ‘’This is not Riverdale. There is no 'murderer or serial killer gene'.’’ Wednesday plucked the doll from your hands, the dark look in her eyes telling you to stop it. ‘’Besides, I doubt Jericho's police department is professionally equipped to track a murderer. I don’t know why Weems bothered to call them. Now outcasts are seen as a murderer's target and normies probably make entertainment and tasteless jokes out of this.’’
‘’Then maybe someone else should take the case in their hands.’’
Enid was not wrong. Someone better suited for the job would make this case go forward — and perhaps catch the murderer —, but you could hardly see Sheriff Galpin asking help for the outcasts he despised so much. He would rather sit and watch all the outcasts drop dead before lifting a finger to help solve this case.
‘’Serial killers are difficult to catch, but not impossible,’’ Wednesday aforementioned, grabbing her notebook with a pen. Her roommate’s words had sparked an idea inside her. ‘’Thing, help Enid dry her tears. I'm taking the case into my own hands. A masked boogeyman is killing our classmates and I intend on finding who’s behind it.’’
*
‘’Where is Enid?’’ you asked a few days later, not seeing the blonde girl on her side of the dorm.
At this hour, she was usually painting her nails or working on tomorrow’s post for her social media accounts. She was a busy lady.
Wednesday was sitting at her desk with paper cut-outs all over. ‘’Out with her gorgon boyfriend,’’ she explained flatly.
The ban on outings had been lifted as of yesterday so you expected no less.
Many students had gone out today, even just to grab coffee at Weathervane. Nevermore was a large ground, but nothing compared to the freedom of Jericho. The town was less than interesting, but at least there were shops to browse, people to spook and the best chocolate cake.
You hummed, walking up to the desk to creep on your sister. ‘’How’s the investigation going?’’
‘’I may have found a common denominator between the victims.’’
You took a seat on Wednesday’s bed, careful to not crease it. ‘’Enlighten me.’’
‘’Turns out all students have something in common: they’re part of Nevermore’s secret society,’’ Wednesday explained. She pulled out a paper with what seemed to be a coat of arms — moon phases at the top, a double nightshade flower with a skull as the flower’s middle.
You pulled your eyebrows together. ‘’Since when does Nevermore have a secret society?’’
‘’Since the 1600s. Our ancestor, Goody Addams, founded the Nightshades to fight against society and to bring peace to every outcast so they could be considered as equals with normies. It's been previously believed to be disbanded because of the death of a normie, but they seemed to be still a thing.’’
‘’Why haven’t I heard of that society before?’’
‘’Perhaps you are not as cool as you believe yourself to be.’’
Your jaw dropped and you tossed a cushion at your sister. She didn’t flinch or react.
‘’If I am right — which I 99.9% am sure of —, the list of the next victims should be found through Weems. Thing and I will attempt to sneak into her office at nighttime to get my hands on the list of the members. As headmaster, she must know about this secret society.’’
*
Despite having a masked killer on the loose going after Nevermore Academy students, Principal Weems decided to not cancel the Rave'N dance. She deemed the students needed to have a little fun for one night after the tragedies.
Dress-code be damned, you would never be caught dead in a white dress.
‘’You look like a murdering widow attending their husband’s funeral, but in a good way,’’ Enid complimented, a yeti-tini in her hand.
You smiled at her, still holding onto Xavier’s arm. ‘’Thanks, Enid. I like the fur trim on yours.’’
She was giving wintery sugar-fairy plum vibes with her pink wig and sparkles on her face. It was too colorful for your taste, but she pulled it off perfectly. By her side, Ajax had gone for a more casual look — his classic tee shirt and a hoodie combo underneath a beige blazer to dress it up.
‘’Do you know if Wednesday is coming?’’ the pink haired girl asked. ‘’She was not in our dorm when I left.’’
You shook your head. ‘’Wednesday doesn’t do dances. Besides, she is too brain deep into her investigation to care about these school events—’’
Behind you, a chorus of surprised gasps and whispers caught your attention, putting an abrupt end to your conversation with Enid. You turned your head, following everyone’s sight-line, and saw Wednesday stepping in in a Victorian lace number, making her big — and unexpected — entrance.
‘’Check it out,’’ Ajax said, pointing to your sister. ‘’Wednesday totally busted out of her cocoon.’’
Ms. Thornhill approached Wednesday before you could wave her over, looking equally surprised and happy to see her at the Rave’N — and, with a date. They talked for a short time, then she excused herself to the drink table and you let go of Xavier’s arm to get to her.
‘’I’ll be right back.’’
The bottom of your dress was sweeping the floor as you walked, making you wish you had gotten it hemmed before the dance.
‘’Nice dress, did you dig in a corpse’s coffin?’’
‘’I did not. Unfortunately,’’ Wednesday replied while pouring Yeti-tinis into cups — for her and Tyler. ‘’Thing stole it in a shop in town.’’ She gave you a look over, her face turning into a slight discomfort. ‘’You look like Mother,’’ she pointed out flatly, looking at your long dark hair and the plunging neckline of your dress. ‘’It’s truly disturbing.’’
‘’I’ll take it as a compliment.’’ You grabbed a glass and poured yourself a drink. ‘’Interesting choice of date,’’ you said, wrinkling your nose seeing Tyler dressed in a white suit and a blue button up. Something about him rubbed you the wrong way.
‘’Not all of us are interested by elite snobs.’’ Wednesday took her drinks and left.
*
Eventually, the DJ played the last song of the night. Some radio pop that made you cringe. You hated every single thing about that song, but danced with Enid anyway.
Just as the song was hitting its high point, you saw something drip on Enid’s shoulder. Something red. You looked up, trying to figure its provenance, and saw more red liquid dripping and coming from the sprinklers. More and more continued to drip, speckling dresses, jackets, hair and faces with red.
Your lips curled into a pleased smile, feeling the wetness on your face and dripping down. Your first blood shower. The sprinklers hit their full splashing speed and Wednesday's face mirrored yours.
The party ambiance turned into chaos and terror. Screams echoed all around, realizing what was happening. People were running and slipping on the now wet floor, turning up the level of chaos, while the Addams twins remained calm.
You dipped a red-coated finger in your mouth, only to be disappointed. ‘’It’s only paint.’’
Whoever had planned this little stunt were amateurs — or wimps. Although you were 100% on Carrie’s side, at least Chris Hargensen went through with her plan and got real pig’s blood.
Soon enough, the whole room was coated in red paint; it reassembled a bloodbath. It was magnificent.
‘’Have you seen Tyler? I lost him,’’ the voice of your sister asked, standing before you, equally painted with red paint.
You shook your head. ‘’I haven’t.’’
*
You walked down Ophelia Hall to your dorm, 'bloody' from head to toes. The paint had begun to dry in some places, making it feel tight and uncomfortable on the skin.
When you came out from your shower, you caught a masked figure sitting in your chair, spinning a knife on your bed-side table with a gloved hand — the masked killer. While most would have screamed and ran out of the room, your visitor made your stomach twist in a pleasuring way.
‘’Nice robe. Though it would look better on the floor,’’ the masked killer said with the use of a voice changer.
‘’Nice knife. It would look better against my neck,’’ you quipped back without a glint of fear.
You grabbed your hairbrush from your desk, totally unbothered by the stranger in your dorm, but when you moved to get to your bathroom, the masked killer was right behind you.
‘’I didn’t say you could go.’’
Your body stilled, feeling the warmth of their chest through the thin fabric of your robe. A gloved hand crept on your waistline, right where the tie of your silk robe sat. One firm tug and it would fall open — goodbye modesty.
‘’I saw you on the dance floor.’’ The hand on your waist slowly trailed down, searching for the opening of your robe to slip a hand underneath. ‘’All that blood on you made me want to ravage you. Unfortunately, I had other doings awaiting.’’
You could hear the other person breathing behind the mask and felt a jolt of pleasure shoot straight to your core. ‘’Are you going to kill me?’’
‘’Do you want me to?’’ the robotic voice asked.
You twisted in their grasp, now facing the masked killer. The danger of the situation excited you and you could feel it in your panties as the gloved hand slipped higher on your thigh, exposing more skin.
A smirk curled on your lips, deciding to entertain his little game. You then put on your best 'scared' face, peering up at them with pleading eyes. ‘’Please don't kill me Mr. Ghostface, I wanna be in the sequel.’’
“I like it when you beg.” A gloved hand reached up and removed the mask to reveal a smirking Xavier, his eyes dark with lust.
‘’How was he?’’ you asked, hearing the mask hit the floor.
‘’Feisty.’’ Xavier rolled his shoulder, hissing a little. ‘’He kept screaming and fighting back. It was so annoying. I had to gag him and tie him up.’’
‘’This should keep Wednesday’s nose away from our business.’’
Xavier hummed, casting his green eyes down on your lightly covered body. He leaned in to attach his plush lips to your jaw, kissing along while he untied your robe. The front fell open, the chill air of the dorm waking goosebumps on your skin.
He led you to the bed and followed you down on the bed-spread. The sides of your robe had slipped on the sides of your body, uncovering the swell of your breasts. Xavier's mouth left your skin, pulling back and taking a moment to admire you under him.
‘’My deadly nightshade,’’ he breathed out in a whisper, running a finger over your clothed clit. He was so deeply in love with you; he would murder for you, abandon his morales just for one more taste of you. You didn't notice him reaching under his robe to retrieve his knife. He ran the cold blade up your thigh, making you shiver. ‘’I’m gonna have you screaming for me.” The blade slid briefly under your panties — black and delicate, just the way he liked.
‘’I don’t scream,’’ you said, your heart beating faster from the thrill of the knife. ‘’And if I do, there's a good chance I'm enjoying myself.’’
Xavier smirked with a dark glint in his eyes. He took that as a challenge. ‘’I’d love to hear that.’’ You heard the tear of the lace, the blade cutting through the delicate material and then moving to the left. Then, he gently dragged it down your mound, the blunt side touching your skin.
Your breath hitched and you clenched around nothing.
Xavier reached for the voice changer, bringing it to his mouth. ‘’Let’s play a game. Do you like scary movies, Y/N?’’
‘’Uh-uh.’’
‘’I ask a question and if you get it right, I’ll slip a finger in. You must be so fucking wet already, uh?’’ He slipped a finger between your folds, feeling your slick. You drew in a breath, bucking your hips and causing the knife to press into your delicate skin. ‘’That knife makes you wet, doesn't it?’’
Most would be terrified of the sharp edge touching their skin, but it gave you a rush of adrenaline and oxytocin.
‘’Wrong answer and I’ll—’’ He slapped your cunt, the sound echoing in the dorm, making you gasp a moan and quiver under his touch. ‘’Got it?’’
You nodded.
Xavier took the knife away and you whimpered, already missing it. ‘’How many people did Jason kill in the first Friday the 13th?’’
‘’Zero,’’ you answered confidently.
Jason was not the killer in the first movie. It’s his mother, Pamela Voorhees. That exact question was a trap for fake horror fans and they fell for it every time.
‘’Correct.’’ He brought a finger down to your folds and pushed it in with a squelching sound. ‘’What is the name of the swedish pagan cult in Midsommar?’’ Xavier continued while slowly thrusting his finger in and out.
You raked your brain for the right answer, not feeling full enough. ‘’The Hårga.’’
‘’Correct.’’ Another finger was added and you let out a soft sigh. ‘’In The Orphan, what is the not-so-little girl's real name in the movie?’’
You had watched this movie a few weeks ago. How could you not remember the little bitch’s name.
To deconcentrate, Xavier curled his fingers in just the right way, watching your eyes fluttering shut as a moan slipped out.
‘’Esther. H-her name’s Esther!’’
His fingers stilled inside you and that’s when you knew you fucked up.
Xavier shook his head. ‘’I'm sorry, that’s the wrong answer.’’ A smirk pulled at the corner of his mouth and he slapped your pussy — hard —, making you moan, the line between pain and pleasure blurring. ‘’Her name is Leena Klammer. Esther is the name she gave herself.’’
Shit. You knew that.
‘’Should we go for another question? One last question?’’
‘’What does Emily Blunt's character, Evelyn Abbott, step on in the film A Quiet place?’’
A nail.
Instead, you said, ‘’A needle.’’
Xavier tsked you with his tongue, shaking his head. ‘’Wrong answer.’’ He gave your pussy another slap and you moaned again as you clenched, wishing he would do it again and again.
Was it even punishment if you were enjoying it?
‘’Mmh, look at that wet pussy.’’ Xavier dipped a finger between your folds, collecting your slick and making you push against his touch, wanting more. ‘’My pretty pussy.’’ He brought his finger to his mouth and sucked all of your slick like it was fucking desert. After cleaning it all up, he released it with a ‘pop’ and you kissed him, tasting yourself on his tongue.
Before you could engage in further activities, Xavier rid himself of his black costume and other black clothes. He was getting hot under this all — and his cock was so hard in his pants that it was aching. You wished he had kept his Rave’N attire underneath his costume, but he would've been too recognizable and blood was almost impossible to get out of white clothing.
You ran your hands over his bare chest, feeling the warmth of his skin. His face twisted in discomfort when you reached his shoulders, but you soothed them with kisses while his hands rubbed up and down your hips and thighs.
It was nice to not have to worry about a roommate returning or time. Your roommate asked to be moved to Bianca’s room after Divina’s death to support her in this difficult time and all the adults were too busy cleaning up the bloodbath in the ballroom to do bed check-ups.
‘’Ahh,’’ you gasped when you felt the tip of Xavier’s cock along your folds, wetness pooling between your legs as he teased you. ‘’Keep teasing and Tyler won’t be the only body found unalive in the morning,’’ you warned and nipped at his bottom lip.
Murderous tendencies were part of the Addams family genes. Adding a number to your body-count would bring a grin to your lips.
He sank into you in one smooth thrust, your legs closing on his back and pulling him closer. He was stretching you so good, filling you so good, that the slight pain due to rushing didn’t matter. You moaned loudly, fingernails digging hard into Xavier’s smooth back, almost drawing blood. He didn’t mind it. He actually loved the pain it resonated in his body. It made his pleasure sharper and stronger.
His thrusts got faster and harder, causing the decibels of your moans to rise with your pleasure as he bucked his hips and thrusted in and out of you at a rapid pace. Trying to quiet your sounds, you trailed your lips to his neck and up to his ear to busy them, taking his earlobe between your teeth as you tugged, releasing it only a moment later when he hissed.
You could feel your pussy quivering around him, already so close to coming. One hand moved up to grip his hair, pulling as he
Xavier looked down at you, his eyes burning just like yours and held his knife to your throat while he slammed into you. He wanted to paint that image so he could look at it everyday. ‘’Scream for me.’’
You shook your head, keeping your mouth shut.
He thrusted deeper, the intense pleasure that came from that thrust so intense you almost gave him what he wanted. ‘’Scream. For. Me.’’ He did it again, his thrust almost sending you to your grave.
Back arching and rising from the bed, you cried out, reaching a level of pleasure you never had before.
*
Eight hours later, Sheriff Galpin's cries were heard all around Nevermore's grounds. His son, Tyler, had not come home last night so Galpin tracked his phone. The app had led him to the academy, confirming that Tyler had not left Nevermore after the Rave'N, and to the perimeting woods. After some arguing with Weems, he searched the woods with his troupe of cops. Unfortunately, the reunion with his son had not been jolly as Tyler was found dead.
Despite the early hour, many students were outside — in their pajamas and slippers —, watching as a coroner rolled Tyler’s body in a black bag, taking him to the morgue.
The morning chill was biting through your thin nightgown and robe, making you shiver. You tried your best to cover your face with a veil of shock like the rest of your classmates, not wanting to wake suspicions.
But Galpin already had his and the first on his list was your dear sister, Wednesday.
‘’You Addams are a plague to this town!’’ the man screamed at your sister, pointing an accusing finger at her over the yellow crime scene ribbon.
‘’Wednesday didn’t do anything,’’ you said, taking Wednesday’s defense. She was innocent and you won’t tolerate Galpin screaming at her of the sort. ‘’She was actually looking for Tyler when the sprinklers splashed paint. I get that you have a grudge against our family — our father precisely —, but don’t accuse my sister or me just so you can have the satisfaction of putting an Addams behind bars. That’s a false allegation and my family won’t stay with our arms crossed if you make that move.’’
The wit on your tongue baffled him — your mother would be proud if she was here.
Wednesday didn’t need your help to defend herself, but she was thankful for you.
‘’You were so terrifyingly sexy when you put Galpin back in his place,’’ Xavier whistled, catching up to you in the academy’s hall. His green eyes were full of lust and if you dared looking down, you would see his semi hidden in his sweatpants.
You smiled. ‘’If there is one thing men have too much, it’s audacity. They will use their position of authority and power against you, but you can’t let them step on you. They need to be knocked down from their pedestal once in a while.’’
‘’Please knock me down from mine.’’
*
It’s always the most quiet ones that are the freakiest, who have the darkest fantasies. Behind his innocent eyes, Xavier was just as twisted as you.
‘’Xavier?’’ you called as you descended the stairs of the secret library, the portraits of past members of the Nightshade secret society all looking at you. ‘’Xavier? You asked me to meet here at midnight.’’ Your voice echoed through the darkened room and died to a silence.
A frown formed between your eyebrows. Where was he?
‘’Xavier—’’
His name turned into a muffle as a masked figure came out of the shadow and covered your mouth with their hand. You grabbed your attacker's forearms as you were being forcefully guided backward, trying to fight them off, but they were stronger.
Your back hit one of the shelves of the library and a knife was pulled out and pressed against your throat while you looked up into a set of deep black eyes. The cold steel of the blade against your skin made your pulse quicken. You clenched your thighs as your core tightened.
‘’Do you want to play a game?’’
You recognized the voice under the mask.
‘’You're in the wrong movie, mon cheri.’’
Xavier pulled off his mask, a dark look of amusement on his face. ‘’Did I scare you?’’
‘’A Halloween mask?’’ You sniggered. ‘’You're gonna have to work harder than that if you want to scare me. I'm an Addams. We scare people to death.’’ You snatched the mask from Xavier’s grasp. ‘’Where did you get this?’’
‘’I found it in a box.’’ He stepped back and twirled the knife between his fingers with a skilled spin.
You watched with fascinated eyes the way his long fingers held the handle. Heat pooled in your belly as you imagined what he could do with it. And above all, it excited you.
Xavier caught your gaze and raised an eyebrow, realizing with horror and fascination your twisted preferences for knives. Was he even surprised? ‘’Let’s have a little fun, shall we?’’
He took your hand with his other one and sat on a chair posted before a column, probably used as a stool to reach the highest shelves. Slender hands slid under your dress and pushed the skirt of your dress up to your waist. Once your delicates were revealed, Xavier kissed right over your panties, making you hum.
‘’Does that feel good, my deadly nightshade?’’
‘’Yes.’’
Xavier switched his mouth for his knife and dragged the cold metal over your panties, its tip very close to your clit. ‘’What about that?’’
You moaned softly, allowing your head to fall back back and exposing the vulnerable column of your throat. One move from that knife and it would be over for you.
After your little tryst, you adjusted your dress and pulled yourself together. You could still feel Xavier's hands on your thighs although he wasn't touching you, your pale skin probably bruised from his strong grip.
‘’It's a shame the Nightshades declined you into the secret society, you would've been a better leader than Bianca,’’ Xavier said, buttoning his pants back.
The mention of Bianca Barclay made sent fury through your body. You were a legacy to the Nightshades society, therefore by default a member, but the self-appointed queen bee had refused to let you in when you requested to. Xavier tried to talk to her, but Bianca’s decision remained the same.
You lifted your eyes to the collection of portraits of past members, lastly falling on your long-deceased ancestor, Goody Addams. The position was yours by blood and one thing about the Addams is that they don’t let others take what belongs to them.
‘’You are right, mon chéri.’’ You turned on your heels, facing Xavier. ‘’The position is mine and I intend to take it. Whatever it takes.’’ The corner of your lips curled into a machiavellian grin. ‘’Interesting thing about bees. Pull out their stingers, they drop dead.’’
*
Wednesday had turned Enid’s cork board into Ted Bundy’s pinterest board. Goodbye cute polaroid and photobooth strips, hello graphic pictures of the victims’ body injuries. It was both disturbing and fascinating.
‘’I’m sorry for Tyler.’’
Wednesday raised her eyes from the picture she was holding — a selfie of Tyler stolen from one of his social media profiles —, looking at you through her dark lashes. ‘’You don’t care about Tyler.’’ She pinned it to the board, adding it to the list of murders.
‘’But I care about you.’’
That was true.
‘’His death is unfortunate, but I cannot let myself be distracted by my personal emotions. I have to solve this case before anyone else gets murdered.’’ She stepped back, looking at her collage.
‘’Looks like the killer broadened their horizon of targets,’’ you said, your eyes following the pictures and names of your classmates…and then Tyler’s. ‘’Why Tyler?’’
‘’The reason escapes me.’’ Wednesday drew her eyebrows together very subtly. ‘’Until me, Tyler has never been affiliated with any outcasts,’’ she pointed out.
‘’Does that make you the next target?’’
‘’Maybe. Unless Tyler was a pawn. A diversion.’’
*
After leaving Wednesday's dorm, you needed to find Xavier. Your heart was beating fast as you walked to Hamlet Hall. You didn't think she would piece together so quickly that Tyler was a diversion.
On the initial plan, the next murder was in a few days, but the pace will have to be accelerated if you wanted to complete the plan before Wednesday solved the identity of the person behind the mask. She still had a bit of investigating left to get there, but you couldn’t take risks.
*
Rowan was the outcast of the outcasts, always looming around school by himself. Getting him alone won’t be difficult. Since he was Xavier's roommate, his daily schedule was given to you on a silver plate.
Every Monday, Rowan had a late session with Dr. Kinbott. His return to the academy was typically around 9pm, but according to Xavier, he never heads straight to his dorm although curfew is close. Instead, he goes to the Nightshades library after hours.
Prior to Rowan’s arrival, Xavier would hide and catch him from behind the way he did when he pranked you with the costume the first time. Only, this time, it won’t be for play. Blood will be spilled.
The only fault in your plan was, neither you or Xavier took into consideration his roommate’s telekinetic abilities and it had been a huge mistake.
As if you had sensed something had gone wrong, you snapped twice and went down to the secret library. You were quiet in the stairs, not wanting to make your presence known.
Your instincts had been right. In the middle of the library, Rowan’s hand was raised and crisped, telekinetically holding Xavier by the throat and pinning him against a wall. Anyone would’ve screamed at him to let him go, but Rowan had caught the masked killer. If you said anything of the sort, he would know straight away that you were working together.
‘’You thought you could get me — kill me.’’ Rowan laughed. ‘’I’m often mistaken for weak because I’m always alone, but tonight I’m gonna be the hero.’’
Using your quick thinking, you scanned the room, looking for a weapon or something to bash Rowan's head to make him snap out of his focus. Telekinesis is controlled with the mind and a loss of focus would free Xavier instantly. But beside a chair, hundreds of books and a ladder, there wasn't much in here.
The corner of your dark coated lips curled when you spotted Xavier's knife on the floor, abandoned. You gave Rowan a last glance before making a quiet run for it, grabbing it and stabbing him in the back. You twisted the knife sharply as blood pooled from his mouth, cutting him mid-sentence.
‘’I'm gonna be the one to take off your mask—’’
His hand fell as his concentration was broken, causing Xavier to fall off the wall and on the ground ungracefully with a pained groan. Rowan tried to speak, but more blood spilled from his mouth — you must have perforated a lung. He quickly started choking on his blood, falling to his knees and down as blood spilled on the floor. His body jerked slightly, but the light left his eyes.
*
Xavier reported his missing roommate to Wheems in the morning, as if he knew nothing. He told Weems that Rowan hadn’t returned to their dorm after his session with Dr. Kinbott — which was not a lie.
No one suspected a thing.
Unlike the previous murders, not many shed a tear for Rowan when his body was found.
Killing Rowan in the secret library was a direct indicator that the murders were related to the secret society, which sowed fear among the remaining members. Only three of them were left standing — Bianca, Xavier and Ajax.
‘’I need to talk to Xavier,’’ Bianca said in a hushed voice, coming up to him in the quad after class. Her siren eyes shifted to you. ‘’In private.’’
‘’Can it wait?’’ he asked, slowly trailing his eyes up to look at Bianca. ‘’I’ll meet you tonight.’’
Bianca wanted to protest, but she resigned with a sigh. ‘’Tonight,’’ she agreed, throwing herself right into the lion’s mouth.
You shared a knowing look with Xavier across the table after she left. All the pieces were falling into place. Bianca had set herself right into the trap and you didn’t have to come up with a lie to lure her there.
*
Revenge is a plate better served cold…and with a little blood on the side.
Before Bianca would meet with Xavier in the secret library, you snuck in, put on the ghostface costume and hid in the shadows near some bookshelves.
Welcome to act three.
Until last night, you never had to get your hands dirty. Xavier had been a perfect killing puppet, executing his fellow Nightshades society members one by one without getting caught, but he was busy with the bait tonight, the last victim, so it was your turn to be the masked killer.
You watched Bianca checking her phone every fifteen seconds and getting impatient as she waited for Xavier. She must be thinking you were holding him up or persuaded him not to meet with her. To her eyes, you were corrupting Xavier’s pure heart, but little did she know, her ex-boyfriend wasn’t so pure intentioned. The quiet ones are often the freakiest.
‘’Took you long enough,’’ she complained, raising her eyes when she heard footsteps coming down the stairs.
Xavier had changed out of his uniform, not wanting to risk getting blood on it, knowing what was coming. ‘’Sorry. Rowan’s parents called and they want all of his belongings to be packed for tomorrow.’’
Bianca stepped forward to meet him. ‘’We’re the last members left,’’ she pointed out.
‘’You forgot Ajax.’’
Xavier hated how she always disregarded him. He was more quiet of nature and didn’t mingle with the others much, but he was a member of the Nightshades too.
‘’Right,’’ Bianca quickly brushed off. ‘’You know what this means? We’re next, Xavier.’’ There was a veil of fear in her eyes as she said the last statement. ‘’One of us is the next target of the masked killer. We must stay on our guards.’’
Xavier released a breath. ‘’I know.’’
‘’We need to watch each other's backs. We aren’t just an elite social club, our function is to protect the outcasts from anyone who would harm them, but if there are no Nightshades members left, who will protect them? There's Principal Wheems, but she can't be the only protector of the scho—’’
Her words were cut off by Xavier.
‘’Bianca! Behind you!’’ he warned, seeing the masked killer — you — coming out of the shadow and going for Bianca.
She turned around, terror filling her bones and eyes lighting up striking in fear when they fell on the masked figure. She slowly backed away, but you charged at her.
‘’Xavier, run!’’ she told Xavier, heading to the stairs and attempting to get away, but when they got to the bottom of the stairs, he turned, pulled out his knife and stabbed her to the hilt above the hip.
Bianca choked a pained gasp as the knife went through her unexpectedly. She looked down at Xavier’s hand on the knife, blood seeping through her uniform sweater vest, and flicked her eyes back at Xavier with betrayal and shock.
‘’No.’’ Her eyes filled with tears as she shook her head in disbelief. ‘’No, no. Xavier—’’ He twisted the knife and she choked a cry of pain.
You grinned wildly beneath the mask. ‘’Welcome to the third act, bitch,’’ you said, taking off your mask and revealing yourself.
*
‘’Hello, Bianca. Surprised?’’ You twirled your clean knife in your hand, watching as Xavier tied her to the chair.
‘’Of you? No. Of Xavier?’’ She hissed as he tied the rope around her, feeling it press on her injury. ‘’How could you do this?’’
You laughed silently. ‘’Sometimes we think we know people, but we really don’t.’’
‘’All done,’’ Xavier stated, tying the last knot and stepping back.
‘’I bet you forced him into this. Xavier would never—’’
‘’He’s not the innocent little boy you think he is. I’m the mastermind behind this, but Xavier helped me plan out everything. The order of the murders, how each victim would die and when — everything. He even suggested being the one getting his hands dirty.’’ You shifted your eyes to Xavier. ‘’Right, mon cheri?’’
He crossed the distance to you in a few steps, a twisted grin on his lips. ‘’The ones we trust the most are the ones who end up stabbing us in the back. You should know that,’’ he told Bianca.
Xavier placed his hands around your waist as he planted a kiss to the back of your hand. Since the day you met at a funeral when you were little, you knew that you were meant to be together. He would die for you. He would kill for you. Like Bonnie and Clyde, you had each other’s backs. But unlike those fools, you both wouldn’t die in the end.
‘’Do you know why these murders started, Bianca?’’ She gave you a clueless look. ‘’You.’’
A deep frown creased on her forehead. ‘’Me?’’
‘’Remember that day you refused me into your secret social club and turned everyone into voting me out? I didn’t like that.’’
‘’That’s your motive? Because I didn’t accept you into our social club?’’
She was belittling your feelings, and it made your blood boil in your veins. ‘’My parents were both members, my mother was the club leader in her days. I’m a direct descendant of the founder. I had every right to be a member!’’ Your voice echoed in the small library, sharp and loud.
You reached the wall where the picture frame of your mother and father hung, frightfully beautiful in their younger days. Your fingertips grazed the frame. Yours will be on that wall too one day.
‘’So I decided to take back what’s mine, to take revenge and eliminate everyone who voted me out,’’ you explained, turning on your heels to face your last victim. ‘’Yoko ended up being the first victim. I noticed she would go hunting in the woods every other Monday to feed on wild animals, so Xavier caught her at her vulnerable time. We needed something not too brutal, but just enough to shock so I came up with the idea of hooking her to the tree in the quad. I apologize to the poor soul who found her. Must be traumatized.’’
It was still unknown who found Yoko in the quad. Something to do with underage anonymity.
You pursued. ‘’Then, Kent. I knew he was looking for some boy action, so I created a fake account on a dating app and planned a meeting in the woods during the harvest festival. Easy target. Divina was Xavier’s idea.’’ Your eyes shifted to Xavier’s. ‘’Gutting her like a fish was side splitting.’’
Horror covered Bianca’s face as you explicitly went on about the murders of her friends. ‘’You’re crazy.’’
You walked over to her and tipped her chin up with the tip of your knife. ‘’Oh, you have no idea.’’
She moved her face away to glance at Xavier, somehow still thinking she could have him on her side. ‘’She's ruining your life, Xavier. You're gonna go to prison.’’
‘’What if it’s what I want?’’ His words took her by surprise. ‘’When I'm gonna get arrested, I'm going to plead guilty and take the blame for the murders. It's gonna ruin my father's life. My face is gonna be on every news report or newspapers — the world is gonna know my name. This scandal is gonna shatter my father's career by ruining the family name’s reputation. I'm gonna become famous, I’m gonna overshadow him and become the most known Thorpe.’’
Xavier’s hand slowly clenched into a fist, knuckles turning white at the thought of his father. God, he despised the man. He wanted to shove that knife so far into his skin while he screamed and watch the blood gush out from his—
He didn’t notice his nails digging into his palm, drawing blood until Bianca started to talk.
‘’For a proclaimed serial killer, you’re not that bright. You just told me your whole plan. I know the truth and I won’t let you get away with murder.’’ Her words had bite, but her threats were harmless.
You cooed. ‘’You thought you were going to live?’’ Your laugh rang in her ears. ‘’Come on, Bianca, the killer never reveals their plan without getting rid of the witnesses.’’
‘’W-what are you gonna do to me?’’
Since you’ve known Bianca, you’ve never heard her stutter. Until now.
It made you squirm with excitement.
‘’I've long thought about it. Should I take her out like Divina? It was magnificent, but where's the originality in repeating a previous murder? Let's take it a step further. Sirens are supposed to be royalty.’’ Your footsteps echoed around you as you paced, talking mainly to yourself. “What if I sliced the self appointed queen bee’s little throat?” you asked, pulling the knife to your throat and dragging it across, a sadistic smile formed on your lips.
Her eyes watched on, deeply scared, not knowing what you would do.
Your eyes locked with the siren that was trying to unfree herself. “You aren’t going to get anywhere, but please keep going, it’s very entertaining.”
Bianca gritted her teeth. “Screw you.”
It was Xavier’s turn to laugh.
*
Blood gushed out as the blade of the knife sliced through Bianca’s throat from behind. Her eyes were wide as she took giant gasping breaths through her severed windpipe, gargling blood and coughing.
A wicked grin curled on your lips as you watched, squirming with excitement. Slitting someone’s throat is a beautifully gruesome thing to see.
After a few seconds, her head fell forward, signaling she had lost consciousness.
Goodbye Bianca.
*
While Xavier was setting up the scene, you headed to your dorm…and came nose to nose with Wednesday.
‘’I need to speak to you about something of high importance,’’ she declared, holding her investigating notebook in her arms. ‘’Immediately.’’
You let her inside your dorm and closed the door.
‘’I believe I've cracked the identity of the masked killer. Take a seat, sister. You'll need one.’’
There was no way that she would crack it correctly, yet her eyes glimmered — Wednesday loved a good murder mystery.
“I was looking for you, so I sent Thing to see if you were with Xavier at his dorm, but when he got to the window, he saw the mask on his bed.”
The muscles in your face fought, trying to keep a straight face. Although Wednesday knew to keep secrets, you weren't sure if you could trust her with this one. The stakes were too high.
So you just sat there and listened to what your dear sister had to say.
“Xavier?’’ A disbelieved laugh left your lips. ‘’No, Wednesday—”
“It must be hard to hear that your beloved murdered our classmates, but Xavier is the killer behind the mask. You know, looking back it all makes sense.’’ She opened her notebook, well prepared. “Everything aligns.”
You watched as she turned pages, trying to find what she needed as proof.
“Remember after Kent’s murder your words: ‘Don’t you guys watch horror movies?’ played in my head,” Wednesday said, aggressively hitting the pages with her index finger. “The murders were all done from horror movies.” You watched the poor notebook being abused; if Wednesday pressed any harder, she would either break her finger...or the notebook in her hand.
She went on, pages crumpling and turning until she had reached the end and shut it closed with a loud slam. You've never underestimated your sister's investigating talent, it was only a question of time until she solved the puzzle and settled her accusatory finger on Xavier.
A laugh broke through your lips as you slow-clapped your hands together. ‘’Well done, Wednesday. But Xavier is not the mastermind behind the murders.’’
‘’I know. They plan came from you!’’
For the first time, you questioned if anyone would be able to hear your conversation if they were walking by. There was rarely anyone in the corridors at this hour, but better be careful than having someone hearing and spilling to Sheriff Galpin.
You walked up to your vanity, picking up the necklace your mother gifted you before leaving Nevermore. ‘’Mother would be proud. I orchestrated my first murder.’’ You glanced back at Wednesday. ‘’And unlike you, I didn’t fail,’’ you pointed out with a haughty smug look.
Wednesday’s eyes soften for a second before sucking in a breath between her teeth. ‘’Please don’t remind me of that embarrassing moment.’’
A proud smile broke across both the Addams sisters' faces. No one but you and Wednesday were allowed to torment Pugsley. Those jocks should've known who's door they were barking at when they picked on your brother.
‘’Now, what?’’ Wednesday asked.
‘’Xavier is in the secret library with Ajax and Bianca's body.’’
‘’Body?’’
You hummed casually. ‘’Yeah, her stinger needed to be pulled. She was standing in my way.’’
*
‘’Holy shit. Bianca!’’ Ajax hurried over, seeing the siren’s slit throat and blood all over her front. ‘’What happened? Is she…dead?’’
Wasn’t the blood pouring out of her slit throat enough of a giver?
Xavier ran a hand through his hair, as if he was freaking out. ‘’I found her like that,’’ he explained, lying through his teeth.
He hated lying to his best friend, but he didn’t want to implicate Ajax. He was just there as a body witness.
‘’We have to alert Principal Weems…and Sheriff Galpin and—’’ Ajax spoke frantically while pacing. ‘’We need to do something, we are the only ones left. Oh my god, are we next?’’ Color washed from his face, terrified to die.
Xavier stepped back and something slipped from his pocket and fell on the floor. The knife.
Ajax's eyes darted to the floor and then the knife. There were specks of dried blood on it, an immediate telling that it was the incriminating weapon.
*
Weeks after Xavier's arrest for the Nevermore murders, you took control of the Nightshades society and built it back. Wednesday joined, and Ajax convinced you to take Enid. Under her pink aesthetic, she was actually a ferocious wolf...after wolfing out.
The society could use more members, but you decided to keep a small committee.
You told your parents the truth about the murders. As expected, your mother was very proud of your well executed plan. Addams blood ran in your veins without a doubt.
The school year ended, and the trial came.
Heartbroken parents were present in the courtroom, seeking revenge and justice for taking their children's life. Yoko’s father wanted to drain his body until he had no pulse, Kent and Divina’s parents cried during the whole trial, and Sheriff Galpin wanted his head on a silver platter. Bianca’s mom and Rowan’s dad were there too.
You sat with your family in the row behind Xavier during the trial. He looked good in a suit. You wanted to jump over the barrier and smash your mouth on his. It’s been so long since your last kiss.
Xavier’s father sat on the same row, wishing he would be anywhere but here. As predicted, the accusations made the world-famous psychic fall from his fame. Xavier’s face was everywhere — in the newspapers, gossip magazines, social media. Vincent Thorpe was forced to step down and play a low profile for a while.
Ignoring his lawyer's advice, Xavier pleaded guilty to all crimes, condemning himself to a mandatory life-sentence in a federal prison with no chance of parole until twenty years.
His father was pissed.
A small part of you felt guilty for coming out of the courtroom scuff free while your beloved got a life-sentence.
‘’Worry not, my little rain cloud, we’ll get him out of there,’’ Gomez promised once in the car, out of the journalists’ ears.
You removed your sunglasses and glanced at the black diamond ring on your finger — a birthday gift from Xavier. Worry not, mon cheri, I will be coming for you.

IM SO PROUD OF THIS PLS
Tumblr media
ever since your father had been keeping a low profile, you had been staying with your aunt morticia and uncle gomez.
your father knew it would be the best option for you. hanging out with your cousins, pugsley and wednesday, should be fun, right?
but after too many troubles with wednesday, morticia decided to send you both to nevermore academy.
wednesday had taken a strong hatred for the place from the beginning. you, however, were beginning to warm up to it. you would never admit it, but you secretly liked your black and white uniform you and wednesday received.
you began to except friendships (unlike your cousin). a vampire named hera was your roommate and probably your closest friend, other than wednesday’s roommate, enid.
but out of everyone in the school, one person specifically stood out to you. xavier thorpe.
you didn’t know why he had taken such a strong liking to you. he made efforts to be around you, make you feel included, and try to see you smile.
so, as you sat in thornhill’s class, you tried to keep your eyes open as she taught on and on and on about specific types of plants.
xavier could feel your boredom from his desk a few seats away. he grabbed a sheet of paper and pencil and began doodling on the white sheet.
you were so zoned out you almost didn’t feel the little tap on your ankle. you looked down the table to find a black rabbit that appeared to be alive, straight out of a drawing.
you looked up at xavier threw your eyelashes. your cold, empty, dead stare was enough to almost make him feel scared.
you were about to reach down to the rabbit when thing crawled down your leg, squishing the rabbit out of existence by accident.
you watched thing’s embarrassment as he crawled into your backpack and zipped it up after him.
you couldn’t help but feel the end of your lips twist into a grin as you looked away. it wasn’t that you didn’t like xavier, you just believed you can spend your time elsewhere instead of taking the risk of heartbreak.
you watched your father’s sanity slowly decrease after the loss of your mother. maybe that’s a reason for his quirky behavior, but the concept of being so in love that it makes you lose all sense of your mind was something you couldn’t comprehend.
why risk everything for one person?
sure, you had your uncle gomez and aunt morticia as an example of sickening love. the way your uncle admired your aunt in such a way, it made you question love.
why is love so good to others, but can be so cruel at the same time?
➽─────────────────❥
after class, you began to walk down to the courtyard when you heard someone jogging behind you. rain was pouring from the sky.
“y/n,” xavier called out.
you stopped dead in your tracks, looking up at him through your wet eyelashes. “what?”
“where are you going?” he questioned as you continued to move.
“dunno. maybe i’ll go find something interesting to distract me from the world.”
“are you excited for outreach day?”
“excited for extended labor during a saturday in a little town that doesn’t like us? not exactly how i like to spend my weekends.”
xavier stared at you. sometimes he couldn’t figure out why you were so closed off, so private, so distant.
but he couldn’t lie and say it didn’t intrigue him. when xavier first saw you on campus, he was immediately interested. your beautiful looks (and the fact you and wednesday had little to no color on) captivated him. he needed to know you.
“well, i’m going to the library if you want to come with.”
you watched as xavier licked his lips. you pondered for a moment.
“fine.”
his lips curled into a grin.
the two of you walked to the library. a comfortable silence was between you too, and you could tell he was nervous.
xavier held the door open for you as you entered the library. you immediately walked over to the giant window that overlooked the rain and the small town of jericho.
xavier pulled out a chair across from you. he noticed you watching the rain.
“i like this weather. rain makes me feel good.”
“it’s so… gloomy.” xavier argued.
“look at who you’re talking to,” you joked.
xavier laughed. it was very rare you showed your sense of humor.
“there’s just something about clouds and rain to me. something very… gloomy.”
you referred to xavier’s previous statement. you could see his blush and you couldn’t help but smile at him.
and xavier swore he fell harder.

you and wednesday stood side by side as principal weems went around with a hat. outreach day had finally arrived.
wednesday reached in and you followed. “what’d you get?” she questioned.
“the weathervane. you?”
“i don’t know what shop this is. but i need to get into pilgrim world.”
wednesday had briefly explained to you about the case she’s trying to solve as well as her novel. you chose to try to ignore her antics because you knew how hyper-fixed she gets on things.
but if she needed you, you would be there in a heartbeat.
“tyler works at the weathervane.” wednesday added.
“the boy who’s in love with you?” you questioned your cousin. wednesday stared at you as you both began to walk to the bus.
“unfortunately. it’s quite frightening how much he likes me. same with xavier for you.”
“understood. i just hope today goes by very quickly.”
➽─────────────────❥
when you entered the weathervane, tyler was there happily to introduce you to his work. “wow, you are very similar to wednesday.” he commented.
“we’re cousins. why are we waiting?” you asked, noticing he hadn’t made any move to start.
“waiting on one more person to show up- there he is.”
you turned your head to see xavier walking in. great.
“y/n?” he stared at you.
“unfortunately.”
“alright, let’s get started.”
tyler gave you guys aprons and then walked you through drinks, taking orders, and normal café stuff.
“y/n, go take your first order.” tyler instructed as he handed you a notepad and pen.
you walked over to an old married couple. when they saw your cold face and dead-looking eyes they jumped.
“what do you want?” you asked.
“actually, i think we’re going to head out.” the old woman motioned for her husband to exit the booth.
xavier couldn’t help but start laughing as you walked back over to them. tyler was shaking his head.
“that’s the opposite of what we want to do, y/n. xavier, you try.”
you both watched as xavier walked over to a group of girls. you didn’t hear what they said, but the way they were giggling as he spoke made you feel sick to your stomach.
you rolled your eyes as you walked over to the pastry case and took a bite of a cookie.
“y/n- you know what, never mind. just try to be nicer to the customers.”
when xavier walked back over with a notepad filled with orders, he immediately noticed your cold and blank stature.
“are you done flirting with those barbies?”
xavier smirked as he leaned against the counter, eyes locked directly on yours. it made you feel nervous.
“why? are you jealous, y/n?” he asked.
“you wish.” you rolled your eyes.
“don’t worry y/n, you’re the only one i have my heart set out for.” he mumbled, now standing extremely close to you. you couldn’t help but shiver.
you were about to speak once more when tyler walked back over. “start getting to work, guys.”
xavier watched as you quickly walked away from him. fucking tyler.
after an hour you, tyler, and xavier decided it would be best for you to make the drinks rather than take orders. you were absolutely miserable seeing the way xavier made every customer laugh and smile. it was like torture, and not the good kind. the worst part was, you didn’t even know where this feeling was coming from.
it wasn’t until wednesday walked in when you felt like you could finally breathe. “how are you, cousin?” she asked.
“i feel like crawling into a deep, dark hole until i shrivel up and die. you?”
“lovely. i feel the same. is tyler here?”
tyler came walking around the corner. wednesday and him walked away from you as you noticed thing crawling towards you.
“finally, a real person.” you whispered to thing as he signed what’s wrong? on the counter.
“i wish to go into darkness and never come back out.” you explained to him.
xavier walked over to the counter and noticed your whispering. he furrowed his brows, looking over to see thing quickly signing to you.
“how did thing get in here?” xavier asked suddenly.
both you and thing jumped. thing went to handshake xavier and you swore you felt betrayal.
➽─────────────────❥
you opted to walk back to nevermore after the incident in the town center, regarding thing and wednesday blowing up the statue of joseph crackstone.
mostly, you needed to clear your head. what was it about xavier and those girls that made you so angry today?
unfortunately, you didn’t get too much time to think. xavier had began chasing after you, calling out your name.
“you okay?” he asked when he finally caught up.
“i’m wonderful.” you answered shortly as you kept walking.
“why are you so closed off?” xavier finally asked.
“why are you so open?” you shot back.
“i’m trying so hard, y/n. trying so hard to be your friend, maybe even get you to be my girlfriend. but you just keep pushing away.”
“i don’t see a point in dating. love is pointless to me. in 300 years, you wouldn’t be able to remember me. my soul, my existence, my face.”
“so that’s the reason? you’re scared of love?” xavier’s voice got softer as he walked closer to you. you didn’t move away (despite your shaking hands and pounding heart).
“love can be a really good thing in life, y/n.”
“then why can it also be so cruel?”
“you have to take risks. in order to want, to get, to have something, you have to take a risk.”
he was standing dangerously close to you know.
“you’ve made me feel something so different these past few months. just please, let me show you how good love can be.”
your breathing was staggered as xavier leaned in, lips barely touching. “can i kiss you, y/n?”
fuck it.
you connected your lips to his as your hands came up to hold his jaw. he immediately placed his hands on your hips, pulling your body even closer to his. he was so desperate for you.
and maybe you just now realized how desperate you were for him.
after a couple moments, you pulled away slightly.
“i can take a risk.” you mumbled against his lips.
you felt him smile against your mouth as he kissed you once again.

“Our successor greets us with torture by this grouping.” Her words were dull, and as you turned to face her, you were met with her eyes boring into yours. You cocked your head to the side, easily bypassing a tree that would’ve hit anyone else. Your instincts were stressed by your venture into the woods with the murderous woman you labeled your enemy accompanying you.
Your skin itched. Badly. Though you would rather burn in the flames she created than take action for relief, you never dared to let the shorter girl win at her former pleas to have her partner switch, labeling it as having to not deal with your pollen allergy, but everyone knew of your rivalry.
It was no secret after all. You couldn’t count the number of times she tried to assist in your early death, ranging from simple pop-up attacks that your raging instincts guided you with to kidnapping you into the Nightshades library and torturing you—or more so, trying her best to—while reading latin incantations from a book that still scarred your mind to this day.
“You don’t have to tell me.” With your head shifted into it’s former state, staring straight ahead, you expected Wednesday to mirror your action. She hadn’t.
Your eyes darted all around the forest, searching for insects, animals, humans, or anything of the above that would pose a potential life-threat. Unlike Wednesday, you allowed yourself to feel fear because you actually cared for your life.
You and Wednesday were similar, which was the root of your rivalry. She eyed you as a copycat, but you had always been who you were since the day you were born, and nobody could ever change you. You thrived in academics and sports, taking part in three education-related after school clubs as well as fencing, track, and a modernized human sport known as “soccer” to Americans during the summer.
You easily got more praise for your contribution to the school’s image, while Wednesday held the slimy silver medal praising her for being in second place, and her mind raged at the remembrance of it every time. She wanted to be number one above all else, but she could never bypass you. Hell, you even bypassed Bianca Barclay, forming a small rivalry with her when you first arrived at the academy.
“Would you like me to send you a photographed Polaroid of myself with my signature on it, or shall you continue to stare at me and soon trip over a rock?” Wednesday’s eyes furrowed at the end of the sentence, unable to hold back a yelp when she inevitably did fall over a grounded rock and faceplant on the floor.
You halted your movement, turning your head to the side to catch a glimpse of Wednesday rolling herself on her back, a hand over her knee from a wound forming due to her ignorant choice to wear shorts. “We have thirty minutes remaining to collect all we need for our botanical project. I’d suggest you get off the floor.”
Before she could even comprehend what you said, she found herself looking up into your eyes as you towered over her. Once more, you cocked your head to the side, allowing a sly grin to form on your face at the sight of blood dousing her hand from the open wound. “And you tell me I’m the clumsy one?”
“You are.” She shot back immediately, her eyes narrowing at your facial expression of humor. You found humor in her; you always have. It was a key part of your romantic attraction to her, though that aspect had always been locked away as a secret, and your humor lied in her inability to keep up with you.
Whether Wednesday wanted to admit it or not, she had found her challenger. Someone who was undeniably better than her, someone who forced her to work harder to be the one at the top, though she knew secretly she’d always be trapped in second place.
You were better than her, and it annoyed her more than anything in the world. That’s why the discovery of her own attraction toward you scared her—the girl who dared not feel emotion. She blamed it on your well-behaved confidence and that stupid grin you flashed her from day to day.
A grin she wanted to kiss off, she thought once, and she contemplated throwing herself off the balcony in her dorm room when she allowed that sentence to linger in her mind.
You laughed genuinely, your grin growing wider at the sight of Wednesday stumbling to get up, her face crinkling only so slightly at the pain that coursed through the entirety of her leg.
“You’re unfit.” A huff came from her, head flicking up to meet your gaze, eyes lingering on your standstill grin—your pink-lipped mouth—for a second deemed too long before she lunged forward and pushed you aside.
The force of her thrust caused you to stumble back and fall on a pile of leaves, blowing and coughing out a crisp leaf that found it’s home inside your mouth. At the force of her thrust toward you, Wednesday found herself collapsed once more on the floor, her body not correctly stabilized from her injury.
“So, not only are you clumsy, but you’re also an idiot.” You sat yourself upright, hands laid down on the floor behind your body to stabilize yourself, all the while watching the conflict in Wednesday’s eyes over whether she should shoot back or keep quiet.
She kept quiet, eliciting a small, almost unnoticeable groan that Wednesday herself didn’t catch at first. You heard it, though, your grin finding it’s way back onto your face as you practically jumped up, brushing yourself off with a flick of your wrists to your neutral- colored clothing.
You furrowed your eyebrows to see Wednesday still sprawled on the floor, expecting her to have risen up by now, even if a limp tagged along. “The big, challenging girl who fought off the reincarnation of Joseph Crackstone years ago can’t get up because of a wound on her knee.”
You spoke in disbelief, and Wednesday turned her head over to you with might. “Don’t you ever mock my accomplishments.”
“Well, we can’t even accomplish the task of finishing our botanical sciences project if you don’t take your small ass up and off the floor.” You bit back.
Fumed with rage and annoyance due to her growing short temper, Wednesday lunged up at you with all the strength she had in her body. The next second, you found your hands wrapped around her waist as you held her upright from falling again, the girl collapsing into your embrace with a snake-like hiss emitting from her.
Another groan came from her, not even bothering to hide it this time, too preoccupied with the futile stinging of her wound and the warming position she found herself in with you. “Alright, back on the floor.”
Her back met the homing place that was the floor once more, shooting daggers at your inexistent attempt to lay her down carefully, seeing as you dropped her onto the floor without care. Her hand found it’s way back to her knee, coating the skin in blood once more, and you sighed. “Move your hand.”
“No.”
“Since when did you become so stubborn?” She raised her eyebrows at you. “Actually, that’s a dumb question, but I’m not going to ask you again. Addams,” your tone became firm, seriousness rising up amidst your former face of humor, “move your hand.”
Her teeth clenched, jawline protruding out, and her eyes were in their usual wide state, as if she were thinking, but her mind was blank. You found impatience creeping up on you, not daring to alert your eyes to her dark red, bloodied hand from her gushing wound.
With a twitch of your eye, your hand shot forward and clamped on Wednesday’s wrist, pulling it away from her wound with force, and she let out a small whimper that she immediately tried to cover with a cough. Your eyes darted up at her for only a second, having heard it, before looking back down at her wound, which was open and wide.
“I will take you to the Infirmary, and then come back and collect all we need for our project.” You said your plan out loud, your eyes darting back and forth between Wednesday’s open wound and the pathway from which you and the girl had just come. “I am fine. Besides, you would only get all the wrong things we need, seeing as how foolish you are.”
“Foolish is what you claim me to be, yet you’re the one consistently in second place.” Without warning, you sank an arm under her bent knees and another under her back, picking her up in bridal style, to which her eyes drastically widened. You felt her tense under you, muscles contracting, and you groaned.
“Oh, relax. Being tense will only cause your wound to bleed more, and before I know it, I’ll be carrying your dead weight.”
“Put me down this instant.” Wednesday fought, trying to wiggle herself out of your grasp as you started to walk back to the school grounds, leaving your grip on her to tighten. “No. And don’t presume that I care about your wellbeing either, because I don’t.”
She huffed, her leg jerking up when a low branch made contact with her wound. “Then why not allow me to continue with you?”
“If you haven’t noticed, we’re past the forest barriers that Nevermore set.” When she turned her head in response to your signal to the right, she noticed the wooden line fences that were more intended to serve as a signal for students to turn around than as a means of keeping them out.
“Throats get slit in this neck of the woods,” you continued, mindlessly drifting your eyes all over the forest in caution of any inhumane species. “I’d rather not have a Jason Voorhees copycat lunatic trying to slaughter us, and I can’t go far because you’re disabled.”
“It’d be your own death’s fault for trying to save me.” Her deadpanning words made you want to drop her and let her find her own way back to the academy, but you just let out an annoyed breath while gripping onto her thighs tighter. “Forgive me for actually having a beating heart, Addams.”
“You’re not forgiven, (Y/L/N).”
Soon enough, you found yourself back in the forest, with Wednesday’s presence long gone. You were kneeling down, collecting dirt into a small jar that you had sprayed with pesticides to clear it of any lingering bugs. You hadn’t noticed how the time flew past, the sun fading into the moon, and you took a moment to enjoy the stars, hands settled on your dirt-covered knees.
A sound rang through the forested area, causing you to snap your head in the direction of the noise. It was muffled, but it sounded too closely like the howls of the werewolves you’ve grown to make friends with, and that was enough for you to shoot up instantly from your kneeling position. With a sharp breath, you looked up at the moon, now taking on the shape of a full moon, and you gagged in growing fear.
You’re fine, right? They get locked in the Lupen cages; there’s no way one of them could’ve escaped theirs. Your mind raced for explanations as you crouched down to pick up all that you'd collected, ranging from dirt to plants, before taking steady steps in the direction of the academy.
You took precautionary halts so as not to make major noise, cringing in fear at the sound of a leaf loudly crunching under your foot, and you could hear the howls once more, closer this time.
You took another five steps before you could hear the thudding stomps of a figure inching closer to you with every second, and you thanked nothing else but your heightened senses as you dropped all of what you held and booked it.
You dodged tree logs and branches left and right, hands fumbling with your satchel to tear it off your body to release the weight it was holding, and your body shook at the thudding sounds ringing in your ears, inching closer and closer-
Until you woke up, spread out on the floor, and your hands dug around the surface of the floor to help you realize that you were still in the woods. Your body still shook, this time more violently as you gasped in pain, stings shooting all over your body and causing your muscles to tighten.
“Fuck!” You groaned out, clenching your stomach where it hurt the most to feel a liquid coating your skin of the same texture that dripped your hands with Wednesday’s blood hours earlier. Your eyes drooped, sullenly coming to the firm realization that you were bleeding out with a liquid you could not even view properly, the night still too dark.
You blamed it all on a werewolf not properly being contained, but if that was the case, why didn’t they kill you instead of merely injuring you? The thought of the beast not being a werewolf flooded out of your mind quicker than it came in. You could see the outline of large claw slits scarring the skin of your stomach, and you yelled out the most mind-scarring shriek as you forced yourself up.
You moaned out, “Oh,” in pain as you sat yourself on a log, scanning the dark forest for any signs of life, human or not, to which there were none, and you sighed in relief. You took off your jacket first before peeling the shredded, blood-stained white shirt off your body, leaving you with just your bra and an exposed, large wound.
Your eyes closed in despair, feeling the pain dull ever so slightly in your relaxing state. You bent over, to your body’s anguish, to grab your bag with a small first aid kit tucked into it. All the items within the mini-kit were dunked out on the log space beside you, and you hurriedly grabbed multiple anti-septic wipes and shredded open the packaging before pressing them onto your skin.
Fangs bared, eyes darkening at the severe pain, you dug them into your bottom lip and swished the wipes over your wounds before letting out a loud yell of agony. You threw the wipes to the floor when they were all left coated with a dark red, grabbing the bandage roll, and with all of your muscles tightening at the pressure, wrapping your stomach with the bandage that immediately turned red before sealing it with tape.
The aftermath was almost pleasurable; the pain was still there but lessened due to the lack of blood flowing out of you. Managing to stumble up, you discarded your bag on the floor before taking a step forward, your body hunching over immediately from the inability to stand upright, and you carried on in the form of a hunchback.
What Wednesday least expected on an early Saturday morning, 3:30 a.m. to be exact, was the sound of her doorknob snapping off from the door itself. Her eyes perked up, sensing danger, and she immediately dug under her pillow to grab the knife she stored there, pointing it forward with the sharp tip ready to plunge itself into whoever dared to intrude into her and Enid’s dorm.
She had only been released from the hospital a few hours prior, so it seemed as though her knee pain had subsided, but when she put her foot on the ground, it suddenly returned. She ignored the discomfort and advanced toward the opening door, ready to strike.
“Wed-” You threw the door open, stopping immediately when the tip of her knife bore into your throat, one step away from slicing into your carotid artery. Even in the harsh darkness, Wednesday could see the fear and agony in your eyes, the way you were breathing heavily and clutching your stomach, and the skin that your bloodied jacket had now covered.
In the dim light of her bedside lamp, she could see your black jacket with a huge damp spot covering it, clamped over by bloodied hands. Her eyes met yours, and you gulped. “I didn’t know who else to come to.”
Wordlessly, she stepped to the side, inviting you in, which you limped into, and she closed the door. Her hand met your shoulder, an odd warmth coating your body despite her cold figure, and she aided you to the bathroom, choosing to disregard the blood trail you were leaving behind.
A sigh left your mouth as you collapsed on the closed-lidded toilet, leaning all your weight on the material. Wednesday pulled out a medical kit from under the sink, one much bigger than the one you had previously used, and slammed it on the countertop. “So much for not trying to wake up Enid.”
“Do you want me to help you or not? Beside, if you even took a second glance around the room, you’d notice Enid is not here, but in a Lupen cage in form.” She spoke in hushed whispers, and you shut up immediately, shrinking under her gaze. You were better than her, yes, but that didn’t mean you didn’t get scared of her from time to time.
“Take off your jacket.” She said simply, still prepping rounds of wipes with anti-septic liquids on them for your bloodied wound, as the wipes you used earlier did not have much of an effect considering the size of them. Wearily, you zipped down your jacket, peeling it off of you with a grunt or two before throwing it away at the base of the bathtub. You laid yourself back, eyes burning into the side of Wednesday’s face, anticipating her moves.
After she had finished prepping the wipes, she grabbed a sewing kit from under the counter, and you gulped at the largely-sized needles that she pulled out along with them. “All I really needed was for you to clean it, Addams. I’m a vampire; I can self-heal.”
“This is merely a precautionary measure to not leave putrid-looking scars.” She placed the items needed beside you, removing her own jacket, and you noticed how she was still in what she considered “casualwear”, seemingly not changing out of her clothes before drifting off to sleep. “Odd coming from the person who has left me with multiple scars, and why didn’t you change?”
“What?”
Wednesday turned, giving you a full visual of her in a button-up shirt and vest, black slacks tucked in and still belted; sleeping couldn’t have been comfortable for her with a belt digging into her hip. “You’re still in your clothes.” You pointed it out, and she looked down at her choice of fashion before letting out a small huff and advancing toward you, taking up position to the right of you.
“I awaited your presence. I told you before that I wanted to get a start on the project so I would not have to do much with class dealing with you and your miserable antics of getting items confused. Not only do you show up empty-handed in the dead of night, but you are also scarred through your inability to defend yourself.”
She badmouthed you, all the while untangling her sewing needles with harsh movements, but you only focused on one aspect of her words. “You fell asleep waiting for me?”
At once, Wednesday halted her movements, giving you a dead look before turning around and grabbing the large anti-septic wipes, swiftly pushing them into your wounded stomach. You let out a long, loud gasp, groaning at the pain and taking hold of Wednesday’s wrist, trying to push her arm back but to no avail. “Don’t get cocky.”
Your head flew back in agony, your hand still clasped around her wrist with a bruising grip. “I wasn’t! I was asking!”
Wednesday glided the wipes along your scars, to your dismay, until there were little to no signs of blood yet, all the while mindlessly running her eyes over the scars on your body that she created.
It was the only way she could get her mind off your exposed torso and how your muscles gallantly flexed from the pain, unwillingly showing themselves off to her.
Your eyes were squinting, still a bit sore from the antiseptics, but when you noticed that Wednesday had not made any other moves, you let them go from your iron grip. Your gaze landed on her stance, lost in thought. “What?”
"I'm in the process of comprehending an attempt to stitch you together while you remain seated, while I, on the other hand, am standing." Her eyes glanced all around the bathroom, sighing contently as she tried to determine a possible way to play surgeon in a comfortable manner.
“Well, I’m not lying on the floor. Your bed?” You inquired, and Wednesday shook her head, her mind discarded by that thought. “I would like to go to sleep tonight in a bloodless bed.”
“Um,” you gulped. The first real situation droning through your head was one anybody wouldn’t dare share with Wednesday. It's a good thing you weren’t like anybody else. “Sit on me.”
Her head snapped to meet your eyes, yours innocently boring into hers, and she squinted. “What?”
“Sit on my lap. When I lean back, you’ll be able to stitch me up or... whatever it is that you plan on doing without breaking your spine.”
You could see the conflict in her eyes, and she took it into consideration, to your surprise. With a pinch to the bridge of her nose and a long, elated sigh, as a means of balance, she placed her hands on each of your shoulders before swinging her left leg over your body and sitting down on your firmly closed legs.
“Tell nobody about this, or more of these scars,” she said, pinching down on a drawn out scar that sat just right under your bra, “will litter your skin.” You gave her a hasty nod, eager to put your mind elsewhere while your sworn enemy found a seat on your lap.
Without a word of warning, she dug the needle into your skin, causing you to let out an embarrassingly loud yelp of pain. Your hands flew to her shoulders as a matter of instinct, and you half-expected her to shrug them off, but she prioritized her sewing techniques instead.
The further she got into sewing the deep claw marks, the tighter your hands gripped her shoulders. You’d be surprised if Wednesday woke up bruise-free, as you could almost feel your knuckles turning white.
Wednesday found... amusement? The way your eyes closed at her stinging touch, the way your hands buried themselves into her shoulders, and how your thigh muscles tightened under her ass with every swift movement. She loved seeing you defenseless and submissive to her more than anything, finding profit in the means of mocking you later on if you tried to boast about your betterness.
When she had finally finished her stitching, she found herself still lingering on your lap, her movements awfully slow, even for her, to grab a couple large medical bandages and place them over her work.
“Stay here.” Her voice was low while she slid off your lap, turning to leave the bathroom before returning a minute later with a baggy jacket in her hands. Your eyebrows furrowed as she laid the fabric on your lap, turning to wash her hands of any remaining blood.
You had a little trouble donning the jacket, which was made of Wednesday's fashion choice's baggy material but looked a little more fitted on you because of your lean frame. Your wounds, formerly the only thing clouding your mind, were long gone. You focused on the seriousness of your enemy’s actions, and the oddly warm jacket filled with her natural scent that was now clinging to your body.
“Why?”
“What?”
“When I came here, I fully expected you to push me away.” You leaned your body up on the toilet, hands running through your disheveled hair, and Wednesday directed her attention toward you. “But you didn’t, for some odd reason, and actually helped me—hell, you even sat on me—when you’ve been nothing but the cause of my terror ever since I’ve arrived at this academy.”
It was all nothing but the truth. Two years have passed since you made your flaunting arrival at Nevermore, head held high with nothing else on your mind other than the determination to be the best student the academy had ever seen, and so you accomplished it. Two years had passed since you crossed paths with the deadly Wednesday Addams, her mind still fresh from her praiseful battle with the former overtaker of Jericho.
Two years passed since you beat Wednesday’s boat in the Poe Cup; the Black Cats determined to win their second trophy in a row, and she swore you as her enemy that day when her eyes laid upon your smirking frame with the golden cup in your hand, sending her a wink of confidence that she mentally fumed at.
Two years had passed since Wednesday Addams made the dreadful discovery that, after all, her black, unbeating heart could feel love but that her taste was awful if she found herself attracted to her enemy. Now she found herself in the middle of her last year at Nevermore, freshly 19, and still rummaging in a cat-dog chase game with you.
Two years had passed since she found herself focused on nothing but her enemy, who was in front of her now, sitting on the toilet seat in her bathroom, all patched up, and looking at her with curiosity. “Are you going to continue to stare at me or answer my question?”
“I’m not required to reply to any of your inquiries.” Swiftly, she made her exit out of the bathroom, leaving you to stumble up on your feet and follow behind her like a lost pup. Your body felt awfully tired, though your mind was wide awake and racing with multiple thoughts at once, overloading and ready to explode any second.
“Add-”
“I’ve patched you up,” She moved to close the door to her closet, and in a rut of refusal to make eye contact with you, solemnly afraid that she’d instantly jump your bones- what? “So you may leave now.”
“I’m not leaving until you’ll answer my ‘inquiry’ on why you were nice, at least in my books, to me. You’re avoiding the question.”
You could see the clench in Wednesday’s jaw as she made her way over to her desk, tidying up the workplace in an attempt to distract herself from the conversation that lingered. “I’m unsure as to what you’re saying.”
“Addams-”
“Leave before I do something I’ll regret, (Y/L/N).” She snapped, finally meeting your gaze with wide eyes, and you furrowed your eyebrows. “Since when have you ever regretted something that included me? Did you not tie me to a tree on a full moon and bait me to the werewolves last year?”
Her eyes closed in annoyance. “That’s not what I mean.” And as she rubbed her face, you could almost feel the mixture of stress and uncertainty in her stance, almost as if she were holding back from something.
“Then what do you mean? I’ve known you for two years, and you’ve never failed to reply to me with a full sentence, whether it’s answering my question or barking out a snarky remark. Tell me what’s changed in tha-”
Your eyes were opening and closing rapidly in stress, causing you to not register Wednesday’s frame hurriedly marking toward you until you felt a body collapse into you and a smooth substance on your lips.
Huh?!
Your eyes shot open and wide. To confirm your suspicions, Wednesday’s arms were thrown over your shoulder while her body leaned into yours, and her lips smashed against yours almost desperately.
That’s what she presumed to regret.
But it was something you longed for, unbeknownst to her, and you made it known when your hands found their way to her cheeks, pulling her in deeper. You could feel her lips tremble slightly in shock, unprepared for you to be pulling her closer instead of pushing her away.
Wednesday’s legs grew a mind of their own, taking steps forward and causing you to step back until the backs of your knees met her bed, and she tore her lips away from you for a breather. You took the separation as an opportunity to sit yourself down on her bed, all while your eyes never left hers in the process, and the smaller girl hurriedly found her former position on your lap.
“The moon is fading. Enid could come back any minute now.” You spoke between kisses, shivering at Wednesday’s cold touch on your warm skin, her hands slithering underneath the jacket you wore to rub up and down your back. “Then she’ll leave again, because she’s not going to enjoy what she’ll see.”
Your body visibly shivered at her words, or maybe it was just her fingers dancing along your spine, but either way, you found yourself completely engulfed in her and just her. The claw marks, the time, the physical confession—all of it was gone from your mind as Wednesday mindlessly pushed herself even farther into you.
She took a push too close, her body pressing up against your wound, causing you to groan and bite down on her bottom lip, fangs bared from the pain. Your lips never separated, instead pushing farther into them at the feeling and taste of Wednesday’s blood filling your mouths from her punctures, only spurring the two of you further.
“Lay down.” You obeyed immediately, finding nothing more hot in the moment than the husk in the smaller girl's voice, and manuevered from under her plushy thighs on top of you to lay comfortably on her bed. You were engulfed in her natural scent once more—the same scent you had grown accustomed to for over two years now, the scent that followed you everywhere you went.
You adored it, just as you adored her behind your hardening gaze most days.
Her eyes were narrowed, and you would have thought she was tired any other day, but you knew her look was one of need and want. Lust, to put it short, and you wanted nothing more than to fulfill her need, even if it meant submitting yourself to her in a situation you'd never thought you’d willingly put yourself in.
Just as she had earlier, she slid off your lap with a lingering touch on your hips. “Stay here.”
And as quickly as she left, she returned, though this time with an item in her hand, and you knew exactly what it was. Your eyes widened, and your mouth drew open. Already?
“Yes, already.” Did you say that out loud? “You’d find me pathetic if you knew how long I have deferred using this. To use it on you.” Her eyes were filled with a dark, unmanageable lust that swam through her veins, and you could only imagine the scenarios that swarmed through your head. This wasn’t the Wednesday you knew, but it was one you anticipated figuring out.
“But I can’t just use this on you immediately, no.” A smug grin came across her lips—a sight that you, or really anybody else, rarely ever saw, and it was one you wanted to see more of. “No, I have to prep you, don’t I?”
“Prep me?” You asked, genuine curiosity lacing your voice, and her grin grew wider. “I’ll show you.”
Wednesday positioned herself back on your lap, putting the erotic object on her nightstand, within reach for later use, before pulling you into another kiss. It was bruising, and the kiss was ten times more harsh than before, but you would never complain about her being pressed up against you.
While you found yourself entrapped in her lips, her hands slithered down your body and toward your pants, grabbing the buckle of your belt and undoing it at a steady pace. That’s when it dawned on you—she was going to prep you for an object that withheld some... girth.
Your muscles tensed at the thought, and more so at the feeling of Wednesday pulling down your black jeans with ease, discarding your shoes in the process of leaving your bottom half in just your underwear. “Wednesday…”
She was simple. “Relax.”
On the down low, she knew that this was your first time engaging with somebody sexually, never failing to notice your soft rejections of the girls and guys that tried to woo you on and failed miserably. It was an aspect she enjoyed even more now, and she wanted nothing more than to rub in the faces of all you rejected that they couldn’t get you to agree to a date, but yet she had you writhing underneath her, moaning her name.
Your breathing grew heavier as the seconds went by, hitching when Wednesday moved your underwear to the side with a slow itch of her hands, and you wanted nothing more than to grab her by the head and bury her in your heat. The lack of restraint you were feeling was lethal and ultimately surprising for a girl who rarely ever even masturbated.
“Such a possessing view.” She murmured in a low tone, her eyes dancing all around your core, and your cheeks flushed at her staring. Her eyes locked with yours, her mind racing at the sight of your eyes narrowed and staring down at her with silent pleads, and those pleads she fulfilled when her tongue darted out to take a swipe at your folds.
You whimpered in a tone around an octave higher than your usual voice, and your eyes widened at the sound that unwillingly left your mouth. It seemed to spur Wednesday on, allowing her to dart her tongue out once more and flick it over your clit, the nub that she wanted nothing more than to swell up with her mouth.
You let out another whimper—louder and needier this time around. “And sensitive. I can put that to use.” She dove her head farther into your heat, her lips wrapping around your clit and taking a harsh suck at the nub. Your thighs shut around her head, eyes never leaving one another, while she feverishly sucked your clit, needing to hear more of the high-pitched whines that left your mouth.
She pulled away soon after, to your dismay that you showed through your pleading whines, to allow a bead of spit to drip out of her mouth and onto your entrance, before taking her finger and rubbing her spit around the area. Your hips instinctively bucked up at the sensation, feeling yourself clench around nothing, and it made Wednesday want to elicit a laugh.
“The way I’m touching you now is a major privilege alone.” Her finger sank into your entrance, and she bit down lightly at the plushness of your thighs when she felt your velvety walls tighten around her. “I adore watching you like this underneath me; you make me want to fuck you braindead.”
She sank her finger into you until her knuckle bared against your heat, curling the bony stature inside of you and eliciting a light moan out of you. You already found yourself on edge from her husky words alone, and the curl of her finger inside of you didn’t help you from almost cumming embarrassingly fast.
“Already close? What a shame; I wanted to have fun toying with you.” Her mouth against her core made you moan from the vibrations, hands flying to grip her head menacingly and push her farther into you, almost crying out for the whole hall to hear when she slipped a second finger into you.
Her fingers picked up pace, thrusting in and out of you with force while the squelching sounds of your slick covering your walls made Wednesday feel a pit of need start to boil in her stomach, one that she desired to fulfill.
The two-on-two action on your core made you clench impossibly tight on Wednesday’s fingers, the ravenhead finding difficulty in her repeated movements. “Want to cum, yeah?”
You nodded profusely, your face growing red from your need for release and the way she released her lips from your clit with a pop. A small grin formed on her face when she pulled out of you, relishing in your whines of despair.
Eyes closed, heavy breathing—you were too blissed out, despite not achieving an orgasm from her underlying teasing, to notice Wednesday sliding off you, strapping the former item in her hand to her core. Her eyes never left your face as she strapped the item on, feeling more than fired up to make you scratch down her back with pitiful whines leaving your mouth.
And so, that’s what she achieved, eyes closing from the burning pains of your nails digging deep into her shoulders down to the middle of her back. Her own mind felt foggy watching the way her silicone became drenched in your arousal, the strap pumping in and out of you with ease, and the way you moaned straight into her ear—god, she regretted never taking your submissive state for profit more early.
Your thighs clenched around her hips when she bottomed into you, settled on her knees, and bent over slightly to curl the strap inside of you, hitting an unfamiliar spongy spot that had you sinfully whining with a hand clenched on Wednesday’s head. “If the entirety of humanity could merely glimpse you in your current state, they would swiftly recognize your rare moment of submissiveness,” her lips dove down, meeting your ear, “all submissive just for me.”
Her movements grew hard, her hands gripping your skin with a bruising force while her hips drove into you with no relent, finding a need for her own release. The so-called “devil” found herself groaning heavy breaths into your ear, all the while slipping a soft moan or two in that she couldn’t hold. The feeling of you finally beneath her, pleading and scratching at her for release, felt ethereal; all of her senses were on cloud nine, and it ignited a burrowed-down spark.
One of Wednesday’s hands removed from your skin, leaving behind darkened marks that would worsen with time to connect with your cheek, the slap making you roll your eyes back at how dirty it felt. “No connected nerves, and I can still feel you pulsating on me; you’re driving me crazy with it.”
Your moans were muffled at the feeling of the ravenhead’s fingers shoving deep into your mouth, bypassing your uvula, causing a gag to ensue. Your lips wrapped around the digits, absentmindedly biting on them when the pit in your stomach started to burn like wildfire, making you tighten around the raven’s strap and force her to slow her movements, though still managing a speedy pace.
“Don’t cum.”
The words you wished never left her mouth made you whine around her fingers; your body was too sensitive from your lack of sexual activity and masturbation over the years, making it almost impossible to fight your orgasm off. Her fingers briefly exited your mouth, only to slap your cheek once more before returning to their original location. “Just for a bit.”
The hold-off was tortuous; the muscles in your body tightened incredulously while your mouth pathetically sucked on Wednesday’s fingers in a pathetic attempt to tear your mind away from your orgasm. It didn’t work.
The overloading, burning sensation in your stomach was almost uncomfortable; the fire burned longer than it intended to while you made putrid eye contact with the roof, Wednesday’s head snug to the side of yours while she drew herself closer to her own orgasm. The words that made  you sigh in relief, your body shaking after seconds of torture, finally came past the girl’s lips, and you adored them.
“Cum for me, la mia dolce metà.”
You obeyed immediately, allowing your muscles to untighten, and Wednesday’s fingers left your mouth, allowing you to spew out a large moan that, without a doubt, woke the entire hall up. Your hands dug into her shoulders, feeling her shudder over you from her own orgasm, though the only thing that left her mouth was heavy pants.
Alas, she pulled out of you after seconds of relishing in one another’s embrace, making you feel empty compared to just minutes ago. The tip of Wednesday’s cock directed to your swollen clit from her previous oral actions, pushing down with enough pressure to make your toes curl and a breathy sigh leave your mouth.
Wednesday had pulled herself up by now, and it was only then that you noticed the girl taking a mental screenshot of your body, more specifically your core and the way your cum leaked out of you at a snail's pace. She licked her lips at the sight, her eyes flickering up to meet yours, and you gulped.
“La mia dolce metà,” she whispered, hands running down your body and to your hips, “I’m not done with you just yet.” The edges of her lips tugged ever so slightly when she dipped her head down to meet your core, leaving you to moan with delight as your hand found it’s way back to her hair.
