Alright, humor me a little. Why is Bernard's last name "Evergreen" in some fics that I've seen? Is this bit of info in a novelization or is this just a fandom-wide headcanon? I'm so so incredibly curious and I cannot find ANY answers anywhere.

Thoughts on Movie Sonic as a character? Do you think he is a good incarnation of Sonic?

I take him as an interpretation of a kid Sonic who has yet to grow into his game self. From this perspective, I think he's cute :) even with the pop references, I never found him obnoxious or too try hard. I like how the first movie was about him growing past his fear and finding himself a place to live, and the second movie was about him learning how to be more responsible and how to help others - this is a good trajectory to bring the character through, potentially ending with Sonic rejecting conventional definitions of "hero" and choosing to live as he wants. That's hypothetical, though.

Also he watched Robotnik fall from his DER without blinking. That's a good Sonic in my eyes :P
