Drop back assist. First practice backbend from the floor to ensure the student is capable. Notice I have my power foot\right foot planted firmly between her feet and the strap is placed as though it's a hip hugger belt. I like this assist better than utilizing a wall for the student to crawl down. It gives them the actual feel of the drop back.
