Alright, YouTube Music gave me my 2022 recap! And without any surprise...
- I have listened to 41,160 minutes of music. That's... 686 hours, a full month.
- My most listened to artist is Lata Mangeshkar ji, and I'm amongst the 0,1% of people listening to her. Followed by Udit Narayan, Shreya Ghoshal ma'am, Alka Yagnik and Kumar Sanu, because apparently I have high standards.
- My number one title is DDLJ's Ho Gaya Hai Tujkho. My number 2 is also DDLJ. And the 3. And the 4. Ahem.
- And logically my most listened to genre is Bollywood.
I don't listen on Spotify, so I don't have a wrap-up to post. But I do have a YouTube recap!
Anyone else a youtube music listener?
[ID: First screenshot - taken from my youtube recap email. It reads 158,824 minutes (listened). 2,142 artists. 7,721 tracks.
Second screenshot - At the top left is the youtube logo followed by the word music. At the top right there is a web address yt.be/music/Recap. Immediately below there is a doodle of a person surrounded by music notes. On the left and right side of the person it states 2022 recap. Under the person there are words stating My music personality is... The Alt Party Starter. Top Artists are listed as 1. Bring me the Horizon. 2. Bad Omens. 3. TOOL. 4. Dayseeker. 5. I Prevail. My new podcast episode is a recap and review of 2022! I'm talking about my visit to the OMD phonebox, my AKAI MPK Mini Play unboxing video, and more! If you're not on Spotify, you can listen and subscribe toy podcast on your favourite podcast player here
Woah, YouTube is doing its own recap thing! I can actually do something somewhat like Spotify Wrapped now!
Hehe, this makes me very happy.
So, the Victoria Justice and Elizabeth Gillies entries REALLY confused me. Until I realized what had skewed the results in their favor...
I literally listened to this one song enough times for those two to get into my top five. I haven't listened to anything else they've ever done. I don't even listen to anything else from Victorious.
Now this feels like a more accurate top 5.
This still isn't totally accurate because a lot of the songs I listen to aren't uploaded by the actual songwriters, and are pretty random bits of media, but still. Feels good to participate in something like this!
