This request is a bit detailed but if it's okay can I please ask for a scenario with a yandere Gojo with a kianna reader
Where he finds out that like her sister Yui her blood can make others stronger and she's pissed off about it because she already had to deal with blood sucking vampires and now she has to deal
with Wizards and Sorcerers and that want her blood so they can make themselves stronger
And so in a fit of rage she
becomes a sorcerer to defend herself and uses a sledgehammer with cursed energy to kill cursed spirits that want her blood or sorcerers and Wizards
because in her eyes she's not going to give some random stranger her blood and if they want it they would have to take it from her when she's dead
And Gojo is impressed that she's able to kill a sorcerer and he understands her reasons so
He protects her from sorcerers and wizards and cursed spirits that want her blood or curses and he is aware that she can fight by herself but what if a sorcerer manages to kill her or she gets kidnapped and
So he takes her under his wing as his daughter
And makes it very clear to any sorcerer that he works with that if they lay a finger on her or try to take her blood that he will kill them without hesitation
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And I'm sorry if this is a bit too much
Not at all! Actually i already have some kind of serie(? Of Yui Komori in Jujustu Kaisen(Even Gojo is a posible love Interest Lol, Here is) so, if You don't mind i Will use ir for reference.
PLATONIC!YANDERE!Gojo Satoru x Komori! Reader(+background Yandere Gojo x Yui Komori)
Gojo Satoru:Brute End
Warnings: YANDERE, UNHEALTY MINDSET, OBSESIVE BEHAVIOR, menor intimidation, OOC Satoru Gojo.
ok, this will be a bit different, it won't be Headcanons, but detailed writings/scripts, I hope it works.
Let's assume that this is a possible branch of the "Satoru x Yui Route", that is, not only do we have a Yandere Romantic Gojo on Yui, but eventually it will also turn on Kiana as well.
Gojo is not a yandere who turns like this out of the blue or right away, although I would say that he developed the typical tendencies of one more or less at the same time both romantically (Yui) and platonically (Kiana).
For some context, Gojo was the one who saved both Kiana and Yui from the vampires. We already know Gojo and his philosophy that protecting the weak "is exhausting" and for this reason he would be very interested in the sisters from the beginning. In Yui for her mental strength and sweet personality, while with Kianna he was impressed by her great willingness to protect herself (and Yui) even becoming a Sorcerer in record time.
They are two types of taste that complement each other. at first.
To Gojo, Kianna is like a wild cat in a "cute way." He thinks he can easily erase her trust issues like he does with his students, overestimating himself what a surprise. when he realizes NO IT'S NOT THAT EASY, he gets confused, he looks good with kids (and he is in a way, he's as immature as one--) but he realizes pretty quickly what's going on and that he has to do something different if he wants to reach Kianna's heart.
he can (and will) use his position as a teacher to encourage Kianna to spend more time together and teach her powerful techniques (even inviting Yui to watch to show off a bit, two for one!), though at the same time he's like a slight intimidation, since although Gojo would NEVER use those techniques against Kianna or Yui, he definitely shows more than he should. it's scary.
As you said, it's pretty explicit that Gojo is willing to kill not only people who are willing to try to hurt Yui (or god forbid, kidnap her again) but also applies to possible threats to Kianna. I feel that with her the levels of overprotection skyrocket due to a purely cultural issue. with Yui he is much more possessive like a romantic Yandere and with Kianna he is much more overprotective like a platonic Yandere.
is surprisingly paranoid (I haven't seen the second season so sorry if I'm wrong), we could say that the whole situation reminds him a bit of what happened with Riko and, by extension, Geto, the idea that Yui and Kianna, the The new two most important people in his life, whether they are torn from him like that, whether by the big shots or by curses, it doesn't matter, IT EATS HIM FROM THE INSIDE OUT.
does a decent to mediocre job of hiding these thoughts, Yui tries to get him to talk to her thinking "venting it out might help me deal with it in a healthy way" though it only ends up generating a higher level of Satoru's obsession over her.
while Kianna has mixed feelings, on the one hand she is somewhat afraid of Satoru, afraid that he will hurt her as Seiji has done in the past, but on the other hand she is doing something that she never thought she would do, showing herself vulnerable (something like that). , ends up in a certain way empathizing with him and even accepting his company more. again only increasing the level of obsession over her.
it all ends with Kianna officially being a member of the Gojo family, even if she doesn't quite know how they got to this point, she can't even go on as many missions as before (or even GO OUT as much as before). although at least they don't have to worry about the people who were chasing them before, they're already gone, she doesn't know how, but they're gone, and everyone knows better than to question "the strongest". Yui seems happy tho, finally having the "peacefull life" she always dream of.
Even if it's the way she want it.
Satoru is more than pleased with this turn of events, no Sorcerer dares even look at Yui or Kianna the wrong way, Yui is his wife, Kianna is his daughter, he has everything. Absolutely everything at hand, under control, safe and sound.
What more he could ask?

Even though Monster High has ended she really likes the show but she kind of hates the remake
She has a pet spider that's usually on her shoulder the spider is gentle and doesn't really attack people
And when people question her about it or tell her that she shouldn't have a spider she just looks at them with a cold stare before walking away clearly angry but holding her Poker Face
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She appears in a lot of magazines websites and fan art because of her modeling career and idle career so it's not surprising to her when she finds a magazine with her face on it
She has a lot of antiques and Gothic things in her house
She likes going to yard sales to find any goody or clothes that she can get her hands on
She likes wearing veils especially when she's making an outfit to wear but she takes them off when she needs to
Since things can be expensive these days she sometimes stitches outfits or clothes that she gets the idea for
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She's an organized person that keeps things in order
She has a lot of accessories that have bats on them
If she ever had a lover they would have to be accepting of the way she lives and her career and if they find out that she's a vampire then there's two responses one kind of surprise the other angry and scared she's had to erase certain people's memories or get rid of them she doesn't like it but she doesn't want her career to be ruined
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Her age is unknown but she does go to college
Despite her looks she's extremely intelligent and
She lives in a big house
That she prefers to have a lot of space before she had a home in the human world she was actually searching for a house that had an addict
She managed to find a certain house that had that and she's happy with it
Some people in the idol industry and people online really thinks the way she lives is either wrong or kind of creepy
She doesn't really get it though because it's just her home and the way she expresses herself
In the human world people think she's 16 but she's actually 200 years old

“Think you know who I am now?” Satoru’s eyes scanned the marks on the man’s skin, hearing the sound of his own teeth grinding against each other. It gave him a painful yet tingling sensation in his mouth, sending weakness to his jaws as he found himself stepping forward to invade the space that the stranger made for himself inside your house.
“I guess you do if you’re coming at me like that.” The man chuckled, standing his ground as he straightened up, almost chest-to-chest with Satoru. The smirk on his scarred lips remained unfaltering and his eyes glimmered with a mix of mischief and displeasure. Satoru can’t even tell if he’s playing with him but he can’t just let him disrespect him like that.
“You just really wanna be rude, man.” Satoru hissed through clenched teeth, hearing the stranger chuckle, clearly enjoying his irritation. He could’ve been on friendlier terms if he didn’t act like he own the place. “What’s wrong with asking who you are? If anything you’re the one who interrupted our morning session-” With a sharp intake of breath Satoru balled his fists tighter.
He would’ve swung a punch if it weren’t for the figure of a woman in an oversized shirt coming into view. “Satoru?” He looked over to see you and your worried face. Your hair was a mess, having just got out of bed but it didn’t dull your glow. Whose shirt is that you’re wearing? He was sure he didn’t leave any clothing of the same appearance here. Why are you just in your underwear when another man is in the house and where is Yui?
Now, Satoru isn’t dumb but those questions in his head were just him wanting to hear answers from you instead of believing the stupid man who opened the door for him. “I didn’t think you’d be here earlier. Yui stayed with Mom last night.” Your voice was soft as you spoke to him and so are your sleepy eyes. Like he didn’t just break your heart a couple of weeks ago.
There was no trace of resentment in your features and Satoru wished it was just that, instead of concern gracing your face as you pulled the stranger’s hand before checking his face. Won’t you check me too? He wanted to ask but he bit his tongue, looking away from the sight. What was he expecting? He doesn’t want that anyway. Naomi wouldn’t put him in this situation.
“I’m gonna call Mom, they should be on their way here.” Satoru eyed the man as you walked together to the kitchen, leaving him in the small living room. His hands were on your waist and by the size of the shirt, it was obviously his. “Do you make Yui stay with Mom, now?” Satoru spoke, annoyance prominent in his voice as he followed the two of you.
“No, it was my Mom’s birthday yesterday and she wanted to spend some time with Yui, so I let her.” You explained, keeping your eyes on him before glancing over at the guy who was now walking to your fridge in his sweatpants. “This…He’s Toji. I, uh, met him a few weeks ago.” Satoru bit his lip, before nodding slowly as if coming to a realization.
“He’s a new friend?” Satoru leaned on a nearby wall so as to appear as cool as he can be. “For now.” Toji chanted, winking at you. It got Satoru frowning, eyebrows coming together as he bit the inside of his cheeks. “Nice to meet you.” Toji stood in front of him, reaching out a hand as if they didn’t try to throw fists at one another earlier. Satoru isn't fond of his attitude.
“Satoru. I’m the father of her child, ex-boyfriend.” There was an emphasis in his words, filled with a tiny bit of animosity compared to his smiling face. Satoru could see you taking a deep breath when he reached for Toji’s hand, shaking it. It took everything in Satoru not to squeeze too hard, controlling his temper as he got a closer look at the guy.
Green eyes that look like they were always glaring; the complete opposite of his. Especially the dark hair and the scar on the side of his lips which made his smirks even more aggravating. No guy would want their wife in the same room as him. He looks a bit rough but Satoru can tell why you’re with the guy.
The supposed to be “peace offering” and “friendly shake hands” quickly turned into a stare-off between the two of them, like giving each other unspoken warnings. Satoru’s pretty sure that you can feel the air in the house get thicker as you cleared your throat, trying to get their attention away from each other.
“I know who you are, I just wanted to make sure.” Toji confessed but before the situation escalates any further, you spoke, “I, uh, would you like something while waiting for—” It was obvious that you were desperate for a way to keep him and Toji apart. You don’t really ask him that, and almost as if on cue, the door opened to reveal your mother and his baby girl.
“Let me change real quick.” You whispered, before pulling Toji inside your room. His baby girl squealed at him, completely unaware of what has been going on before they came in.
“You’re early.” Your mother spoke to him as he gave her a small smile of courtesy. Satoru knows that your mother wanted to be rude to him; she probably wanted to slap him when they first met after your fight, but she’s not that type of woman. She can be very indifferent, but never hostile.
“Hi!” Satoru heard your daughter speak to Toji when he walked out of the room in a t-shirt now. The little girl giggled as he waved back at her. So, this isn’t the first time she saw him, he thought. “Yes, Mom. I can’t waste an hour to be with this angel.” He nodded at your mother, fixing the zipper of Yui’s jacket before taking the baby bag.
“Thank you, Mom. Did I rush you? Sorry about that.” You apologized. Satoru can notice the blush on your cheeks as you fix your hair so it was covering the side of your neck. Satoru couldn’t stop his brain from making up scenarios of what could’ve possibly happened in the short amount that you were in the room with that man, dressing up.
Your eyes met his as you fixed your daughter’s hat making her reach out her hands to you, urging you to hold her. You took Yui from Satoru giving her cheeks tiny kisses which made her smile, hugging your neck and placing her head on your shoulders. Toji made faces at the toddler, making her giggle joyfully.
For some reason, the whole scene doesn’t sit right with Satoru, so he focused on checking her things instead, all while cursing to himself. “We were already on our way, it’s fine. Have you made Toji breakfast?” Your mother smiled at Toji, and it made Satoru wonder if you felt like this during the few dinners where his Mom would sit next to Naomi and ignore you the whole night.
Yui was still too young and was not used to being away from you. He and Naomi also just started dating then. You know there was no point to have you there but your daughter just won’t go without you. Satoru remembered you sitting on the corner of the spacious living room as his mother held his daughter in her lap, entertaining his new girlfriend.
Although his father isn’t as bad, he’s too busy catching up with other relatives to chit-chat with you. His cousins kept you company but it was only a matter of time before they move on to something you can’t relate to.
There was one time when they took the family pictures while you were in the bathroom and when you came back, you had to stand there and watch them. Naomi was standing beside Satoru as she carried Yui. You shrugged it off when Satoru tried to apologized. You though that it was only right because you’re not even part of their family anymore since you two broke up. But Satoru could see right through you.
You wouldn’t be faking a smile if it didn’t hurt you.
“I’m going to cook, Ma’am. Let’s all eat together.” Satoru can tell that your mother was fond of Toji with the way she’s smiling at him. She used to be like that to Satoru too, even going as far as sending homecooked foods for his Mom and Dad which you knew they never ate. You just never said anything because you didn’t want to start something and you didn't want to hurt your mother’s feelings.
“Oh, I have to go to a friend’s house, sadly.” Your mother checked her watch before clicking her tongue, “Maybe next time, son.” With that, your mother bid farewell to all of you, albeit a little coldly towards Satoru. There was an eerie silence save from your daughter’s laugh as she caressed your face.
“You ready to leave with Dada?” You spoke as you leaned her towards Satoru, allowing the man to take her from you. “Let’s go, now, love. Naomi is waiting for you.” He cooed at her as she buried her face in his neck, smiling while she peaked at him “I’ll bring Megumi next time so, you can play, okay?” Toji pulled your body close to him, chuckling at how your daughter screamed in excitement, kicking her little legs.
Satoru wanted to roll his eyes as he watched Toji subtly caress and squeeze your waist.
Satoru kissed Yui’s head, pulling stray hairs away from her face to stop himself from saying something he shouldn’t. He’s just so ill-mannered, it’s making Satoru want to warn you about him. He can see how comfortable Yui is with Toji which provoked the questions he’d been keeping to spill out of his mouth.
“I’m gonna cook breakfast.” Toji tapped your behind as he walked away. Satoru didn’t appreciate that but he’s glad the he left. He needs answers. He knows that he’s in no place to demand, but Satoru wants to know if Toji’s arrogance matched his place in your life. As soon as Toji walked far enough, Satoru stepped closer to you.
“Since when?” He asked, gentle eyes watching your daughter as she now plays with his hair. You looked at him for a moment, blinking as you think. “Can’t remember. It’s nothing official, we’d just been hanging around each other during free time and we…” You trailed and Satoru looked away, avoiding your eyes. He doesn’t know if he wants to hear that come from you. His eyes already saw it. He nodded slowly, breathing in as he licked his lips before swallowing.
“That’s good… good for you.” He doesn’t know what else to say. What else should he say? That he’s happy for you? Yeah, he’s definitely happy for you. Now, there’ll be better harmony between everyone because you can now feel how Satoru feels about Naomi, right? You can finally understand. That’s it. This is a relief, he thought as he smiled.
Satoru was staring at you but his mind was out of it. He can see it in your face. You’re glowing. That Toji guy must’ve been treating you so well even if it’s only been for a few weeks. Satoru can’t even bring himself to feel angry.
This is how you must’ve felt when you saw him and Naomi that day. This is how affronted and helpless you must’ve felt.
How you tried so hard to stand your ground as you looked at the two of them being the couple that you should’ve been to each other, watching him save Naomi’s face due to how you saw them and your first impression of her. Seeing him rub on your face that you’re over and he can finally do what he wants. Realizing that he never meant any fucking word he promised to you…
He felt like he cheated that time and he said that to Naomi. He felt like he betrayed not only you but also his daughter. But her words didn’t fail to calm him down. “We can figure everything out together, Satoru. We’ll solve this; all of us.”  She shushed as she put her head on his bare chest. The image of your face, void of emotion but with your broken heart reflected in your eyes was as clear as a day.
This is how you must’ve felt and it’s not fucking nice because if it was, Satoru wouldn’t be holding his breath right now, seeing the hickey you’ve been hiding peek between the strands of your hair when you moved towards him to kiss Yui’s forehead. “Be a good girl, ok?” She was singing something none of you can understand but definitely made you laugh. She’s growing so fast and everything’s changing so fast as well. He wondered if he could keep up.
He’s the one who picked this pace so he got no business complaining.
—------------------------------------------
Earlier that morning
You woke up to kisses on your shoulders as your eyes twitched against the morning light coming through the slits of the Venetian blinds. The first thing you saw was the luminous lines on the floor, making you sigh as you observe the pale hue. It’s still early, you thought as you felt a calloused hand traveling across your waist to caress your stomach. It made you relax, reaching over to touch the back of Toji’s neck as his kisses moved up to your nape.
You first got to know Toji when came to the cafe where you work one rainy morning, you recognized him to be the man at the toy store. His baby boy was in a small raincoat and boots and he was wearing an expensive-looking coat. You already know that he bought the playpen that day, making you wish they still have some left in stock.
“Stomp your boots, come on. Good boy.” He coached his son, holding his hand to prevent him from slipping as he jumped on the mat to get the wetness off his blue rain boots. His cheeks were chubby and red, it reminded you of you. With just one look, one can already tell that he’s his father’s son. He took the raincoat off the little boy and his placing it on a nearby rack.
When he looked up, your eyes met, making him narrow his, as he tilted his head. He’s trying to remember where he saw your face and he’s shamelessly doing that. He definitely knows that he looks good. You thought before quickly shaking your head, feeling bad that you’re thinking of someone else’s husband like that.
“Good day, sir! What can I get for you?” You spoke as he stood on the other side of the counter, scanning your features. It made you feel slightly conscious, fixing your hair subtly as you tried to hide the awkwardness in your smile. “It’s you, how’s your daughter?” You looked at him with mouth slightly ajar, did he just ask how your daughter is without even meeting her? He’s a funny man, you thought,
“You said you’d but a gift for your daughter back in the toy store so, I wanna know how she is.” He clarified bending down to pick up his little boy. The kid caressed his round tummy wordlessly, staring blankly at the menu. “U-uh, she’s okay, sir. Thank you. I was trying to remember where I saw you.” You lied, typing away at the machine to prepare for his order.
“I’ll have Long Black and a blueberry cupcake for this little dude, that’s what you like?” The man pointed at the menu and the eyes of the kid sparkled as he stared at it. “Yep, he’s having that.” You nodded, avoiding his gaze as you looked down, tucking your hair behind your ear. “I’m Toji, by the way. This is my son, Megumi.” Is he befriending you? You looked at this hand for a few seconds before you came to your senses.
“Y/N.” Shaking his hand, you watched a small smile form on his lips, “Sorry, I was just a bit…surprised.” You laughed nervously, passing their orders to the other staff. “Have a seat, sir. Your orders will be served as soon as it’s ready.” You smiled up at him. They sat at the nearest table with the kid, looking at you. You watched Toji feed his child from a couple of meters away.
Yui and Satoru must look like this when they’re having a day out. The thought made your heart ache with both joy and pining.
“I’ll see you around, Y/N.” He bid farewell to you after getting a takeout for his son. “Bye-bye,” You were surprised when the little boy waved at you. Albeit without a smile, he was waving his tiny hands enthusiastically. Since then, Toji and Megumi have been coming to the cafe every other day. That's how you got close to them.
You found out that Toji’s wife passed away during childbirth so, it’s only him and the 3-year-old Megumi. Like Satoru, he came from a well-off family. He owns a branch of his father’s business. You also told him about what happened between you and Satoru. Well, a little sugar-coated version of it, because you didn’t want to seem like you were just looking for sympathy but he still caught on.
Megumi and Yui became playmates. She was deeply amazed by his toys, which Toji decided to share with her, letting the kid take some of them home. Their house was huge, and in Megumi’s playroom was the playpen you were checking out at the store, but the bigger version. Those few weeks felt like months due to how much you learned about each other. And that led to this moment.
You weren’t supposed to invite Toji over but you ran into him while you were shopping for groceries. And just like you, it just so happens that his son was sleeping over at his parents’ with his cousins. You thought that inviting him over wouldn’t be so bad. You both didn’t have to eat alone in your homes. You know that Toji’s been interested in you but you paid no mind to it, not wanting to seem like you’re just desperate to have someone.
But that night was different. No alcohol was involved yet, you both drowned in each other’s presence.
The next thing you knew, you were moaning under him as he suckles on your skin. The sounds of his pants and your whimpers filled the place and your bed has never felt so small yet, so warm. His hands wandered places you never thought could feel the way they did when he touched them.
“Fuck, Y/N.” He grunted for what seemed like a millionth time in your ear, pulling you closer as if being skin-to-skin wasn’t close enough. His lips felt soft and gentle against yours as he caught your delicious cries of his name. It’s been so long since you were handled with care. The way he moved within you was enough to take you to cloud nine.
Once again, a simple night became another turning point in your life and this time, you hoped that it would be for the better.
“What do you want for breakfast?” You turned over, burying your face in his naked chest, remembering the events that occurred the previous night. You felt his fingers tracing your sides, gliding down your behind before grabbing a handful, making you slap his arm light. “This is what I want for mornings.” He chuckled, tangling his legs with yours.
“I gotta go to the bathroom.” You quickly stood up, forgetting about your state. You ended up wincing as you sit down, eliciting a laugh from Toji before he got up, carrying you bridal style to the bathroom. After washing up, you gave him a new extra brush, watching him watch you in the mirror. He could cover your whole body with his by how much bigger he is than you. You blushed as you reckoned the number of positions he had you in last night.
“What?” He smirked at you, washing the water down his face. You shook your head as you finished brushing your teeth. You stood there naked, with Toji ghosting behind you in nothing but his sweatpants.”This is unfair, why are you in your sweatpants already and I’m still naked?” You turned to look up at him, pushing your hair back. As if on instinct, his hands were automatically on your hips.
“I can take this off if you want.” He joked, tilting your head up to give you a slow, passionate kiss. “I’m still sore,” You whined, pressing your forehead against his. Chuckling, he pecked your lips, “I know, let me take you to bed. Rest, then we’ll have breakfast.” He carried you back to bed before giving you your underwear and his shirt.
“Call me if you need anything,” He kissed your forehead before walking out of your bedroom. You lay there for a couple of minutes, enjoying the silence of the morning and his scent on your sheets. How long has it been since you had that kind of night, you thought to yourself as you smelled his shirt, blushing as you walk out.
Opening the door, you can hear Toji talking to someone. Your brows furrowed as you walked out, following the sound to the front door. Is Yui back already? You thought, But it’s not noisy. Curious, you tried to peek over Toji’s shoulders as quietly as you could. Your eyes widened when you saw a mop of familiar white locks and a pair of blue eyes. The situation was familiar, but this time it was reversed.
Satoru’s the one staring at you with hurt and betrayal in his eyes.
————————————
“Mama buy Yui.” The little girl pointed at the ribbons on her hair as Satoru placed her in her carseat. Satoru still can’t wrap his head around what happened. “Really? Yui looks really pretty.” He tapped her cheek before going to the driver’s seat. He promised himself that if you open the door for him, he’s going to make it up to you. But look at what happened today.
“Toji tells Mama pretty.” The little girl squealed before giggling like she understands what was going on and was unaware of how her father’s grip on the steering wheel tightened. “He does? Why?” The breaths he was taking were deep, as he waited patiently for the kid to answer but it was already out of her mind.
Satoru shook his head, telling himself that he was just surprised, and having been worked up earlier, his temper still hasn’t fully gone down. “Naomi’s pretty too, right?” Ah, yes. His lovely girlfriend, Satoru sighed as he remembered that he has someone by his side. Someone who truly understands him. The child nodded, humming to herself and leaving Satoru with his thoughts again.
Toji’s probably been helping you get over your jerk of a baby-daddy. He’s giving you the comfort that Satoru should’ve given you. He probably doesn’t give you headaches; doesn’t leave you waiting, arrives on time and he probably doesn’t make you feel less than another woman.
“Fuck.” Satoru punched the side of the wheel, hearing his little girl gasp. “Huh?” She uttered.
“Sorry, love. I was…That’s not a nice word. Dada shouldn’t have said it.” He smiled at her, before reaching over to caress her cheeks when they stopped at the red light. Satoru ran a hand through his hair, pressing his back against the chair. He shouldn’t be stressing over your relationship. He got his to nurture and focus on. What matters is, you’re happy with your respective partners.
Reaching his house, Satoru was bouncing a laughing Yui in his arms as he pretended to jump around. “Hey, baby. How are you?” Naomi’s always been so sweet with his little girl and he appreciates that. It was one of his concerns when he thought about getting with her but they were pointless for she was so fond of the child.
“Look at her eat, babe! She’s too cute.” Naomi looked at Yui in awe as she chewed on the broccoli. Satoru noticed that she’s getting real good at eating on her own. Even if you go to work away from her, you still give Yui more than enough attention and Satoru wouldn’t deny that he’s amazed by that.
You work at a cafe owned by your friend for five hours from Monday to Saturday. Though working longer means more money, you don’t want to leave your baby too much. You earn enough for the bills and some of Yui’s needs. Satoru wanted to double her allowance but you refused, saying that it should be as fair as the days she stays with the two of you. It’s a basic schedule that never got followed.
Instead of being 3-4-4-3, it just became 4-3; four days with you and three days with Satoru. It’s because the middle day is usually spent with the two of you together. He can’t remember when and why he came up with that. But he thought that it would be for the best, at least until your child can finally fully understand your situation. It hasn’t happened ever since the fight.
“Babe?”Naomi tapped his arm, “Satoru!” She tilted her head as she tried to catch his blank stare. Satoru snapped out of his thoughts, breathing in as he looked at his girlfriend’s face. “Hm?” He picked up the glass of juice, drinking as he kept his eyes on her. “I said that when we have one of our own, I’d get them used to eating vegetables early.” She massaged his arm, smiling with her eyes.
“One of our what?” It was a dumb question that Satoru had inside his head while she was speaking but it slipped out, “Ah, no, I mean, yeah. It’s good when children aren’t picky with their foods.” Reaching to wipe the child’s mouth. “Are you alright?” She inquired, concern lacing her soft features. “Yeah, why wouldn’t I be? It’s just work.” He smiled half-heartedly before coaxing the woman to eat.
The following days were spent with the three of them eating outside and taking Yui to the mall playground. He found himself sending more of Yui’s pictures to you than usual. He doesn’t know what he’s trying to achieve but ever since you introduced Toji to him, he’s been hoping for a chance to talk. He can’t just turn a page when the one he’s on is torn. At least, that’s what it felt like to him.
You’re starting a new chapter and he feels like he’s stuck there. He’s the one who wanted it, so why does it seem like he’s trying to prevent it now?
—--------------------------------------
Satoru set an alarm early, knowing that you’ll be picking up Yui today. Most likely with your boyfriend. He remembered Yui video calling you on his phone accidentally the other day. Turns out, you were at Toji’s. He didn’t even have to ask. The chandelier, the pillow, and the bed, as well as the lampshade; that’s definitely not your room.
You were fondly talking to Yui but almost immediately came up with an excuse to leave the call when Satoru sat down behind her. He could tell that as much as you want to see your child, you don’t want to interact with her father.
He’s felt unwanted by you before. This time he just needs closure, he thought.
That’s a bit too much considering how shitty he treated you. But he can’t keep acting like you still have some type of connection other than being parents. Not only is he being unfair to you but to Naomi too. He’s just not used to seeing you with someone else and that’s why it’s bothering him.
“You’re getting up already?” Naomi spoke in her tired voice as Satoru sits on the side of the bed, checking his phone. “Yeah, they’re picking her up today. You have work too right?” He yawned, stretching when he stood up. Satoru gave Naomi a kiss on her forehead, hearing her hum. After getting ready, Satoru cleaned his living room; arranged the toys inside the playpen, and checked the front yard.
“This is new,” Naomi laughed, holding her coffee mug as she sat on the couch, watching her boyfriend tidy up his home. “You look good, Dada.” She joked which earned a chuckle from him, “You know I could see you doing this every morning” She walked closer to him, wrapping her arms around his neck as she gave him a long kiss.
“I gotta mature, Yui’s growing.” He placed a hand around her waist, “We might grow too. Soon.” Naomi winked at him and Satoru couldn’t help the smile on his face. You used to tell him that you want three kids, and he wondered if you changed your mind. “What is it?” Naomi asked and only then did Satoru realize that he spaced out again.
“I gotta get Yui ready.” He chuckled, pecking her lips, “Oh, yeah. Let’s go. I wanna pick her clothes.” She giggled, pulling Satoru with her. You’ve been in and out of his mind. And it’s not even just because of Toji. Ever since he left the day that you argued, Satoru’s been thinking about nothing but how to make you talk to him.
The only thing that stopped him was reminding himself of your relationship’s status. You’re not together; he told you he doesn’t want you, and he’s comfortable and happy with Naomi. His guilt was consuming him. He gotta get this out of his chest and properly apologize to you. You don’t even have to forgive him, he just wants to let you know that he didn’t mean what he said.
Getting Yui ready slightly got things off his mind. Her cute laughs, screams, and small conversations with Naomi drowned every worry in Satoru’s mind. But after that, the thought of seeing you with that guy again loomed over his head. He hasn’t told Naomi about it. It doesn’t feel right to talk about you with her like that.
Satoru dressed himself in a blue-grey sweater and denim jeans. He found himself fixing his hair, and checking his face. “You’re already handsome, my love.” Naomi hugged him from behind, kissing his shoulders. He was just about to answer her when the doorbell rang, signaling your arrival.
“Yui! Love, Mama’s here!” Satoru called to the playing toddler, she was focused on watching her cartoons.“I’m gonna get the door, can you check her stuff?” He spoke to Naomi as he gave a quick look at himself in the mirror. She nodded, puzzled at his urgency but chose to shrug it off.
Satoru ran a hand over his sweater and hair before jogging to the gate. There you stood with Toji and another kid in his arms. The toddler looked so bored for his age, which is about the same as Yui’s. “Is she ready? Oh, this is Megumi, by the way. Toji’s son.” You motioned to the kid. Oh so, that’s why you get along so well. He’s a father too.
But Satoru’s a father too. Of your own child, on top of that.
“Hi, he looks like you a lot.” It was a struggle to get friendly with Toji. Not only because of their first meeting but because of how he put his hand on the small of your back. He’s just trying to flex. Satoru wanted to roll his eyes so badly. “She’s inside, come in.” He shook away his bizarre thought.
“Yui!” The little guy spoke suddenly, pointing as he spotted the little girl in the playpen. Yui quickly turned her head at the voice, recognizing her playmate. “She really knows Megumi.” You chuckled at Toji as he put his son down. The little girl was quick to hug him, squealing as she pulled her father’s hand.
“Gumi, Dada.” She gestured at Megumi. She was introducing her playmate. “She’s gonna be a sweet sister,” Satoru was quick to turn to Toji, seeing that he was dead serious even as you pinched his side. He wanted to ask what makes him so sure that you’re gonna choose him. “She’s happy to see her little friend.” Naomi hugged his arm as he put her head on his shoulder.
“You ready to go?” You cooed at Yui when she tapped your leg, pointing at Megumi like he didn’t just come here with you. It was funny, but Satoru couldn’t bring himself to laugh when his eyes landed on the necklace on your neck. He remembered giving you one, but you stopped wearing it when you saw him with Naomi. He doesn’t get to look for it now.
“Alright, let’s go.” You were about to pick Yui up but Naomi’s words halted you, “What about Mama’s kiss?” Satoru cursed himself for avoiding discussing it with Naomi because of how it ended in a fight with you. He was about to tell her but he just couldn’t without getting frustrated for not being able to reach you. Naomi opened her arms to Yui but little Megumi has his own words.
“No Mama, No.” He spoke, shaking his head at Naomi like she wasn’t unknown to him. “Yui Mama.” He patted you, eliciting a chuckle from Toji. “Alright, you’re talkative now. Let’s go.” He picked the little boy up. It left Naomi laughing awkwardly beside Satoru who was busy getting his daughter’s things.
“Give me a kiss, love.” Satoru gets closer to Yui and naturally, to your face too, as you sat her on your hip. His eyes met yours for a couple of seconds, looking away bitterly when he couldn’t find the emotions he was searching for. Even if you told him that it was nothing official, Satoru could see in your eyes that you were slowly leaving what you had with him.
Like what he did with you. He just didn’t know that this is how it would feel.
Walking out with you felt like he was walking you out of his life, entrusting you to this man who probably knows your body, your scent, and your touch the way he does. Does he still know you like that? After all that he’s said and done, Satoru can’t expect that you still see him the same way.
A part of him says it’s for the best, so you could move on quicker. But the other part of him felt like he was the one walking backward.
The children waved at them and Satoru could only plaster a smile as he watched you get on the passenger side. “That’s a nice car. I didn’t know she got a boyfriend.” Naomi spoke cautiously beside him, “Yeah, that’s not her boyfriend.” Satoru walked back inside the house, mood officially ruined.
“Naomi babe, you can’t have Yui calling you Mama anymore.” Satoru spoke as he get himself a glass of water. He’s not giving himself a chance to delay the information any longer. He just wants to clear everything up, that’s his last hope of getting rid of the weird thoughts and feelings he’s been getting. These unfinished businesses are probably messing with his head.
“Oh, sorry. She disagreed?” Naomi sat down in front of him, watching her boyfriend’s face. “Yeah, it was disrespectful to her. It is.” Satoru nodded, caressing her cheek. Everything else after that was just Satoru answering her questions. He doesn’t even feel like meeting with his client anymore. He just wants to sleep. It’s only morning and he’s already drained.
He didn’t think that seeing you with someone else could suck the life out of him.
—------------------------------------
It’s been two months of proper co-parenting with you. Well, it’s proper to you and Toji, you’ve been living your fairytale with your king. Satoru scoffed as he downed another drink. He was at the bar where he first met you. Alone. The noise was loud but not loud enough to mute the thoughts inside his head.
He recalled that one time when you picked Yui up, and Toji had the guts to tell him that he was taking you and Yui out of the country to go to Disneyland. He wanted to tell him that he’s gonna be the one doing that but the excitement of his kid prevented him from doing so.
“I just wanted to get your permission because I don’t want to be disrespectful to the other parent.” Toji didn’t mean harm but the words sent Naomi out of the room.
He once stalked Toji’s account and found photos of you and him by the pool. A swipe after that was the kids drinking coconut water in their swimming attire. The arm floats looked cute on their arms and Satoru wished that he was there to witness that with you. Another swipe was your legs in between Toji’s.
It was frustrating enough that he had to log off for a day. If this happened several months back, he’d probably post a picture of him and his girlfriend just to piss you off. But he can’t do that anymore. He’s way too aware of what’s happening to him to still act like an asshole.
The other day he and Naomi ran into you and Toji at the grocery store. The kids were on strollers and he never told Naomi but he already saw you before she even pointed your presence out. As much as he wanted to see his baby, he was too afraid to approach, fearing that he’d be met with news that could end everything for him.
He saw Toji put his large hand on your lower stomach, as the other one snaked on your hip. If this is what he thinks it is, he’s probably gonna faint right on the spot. He whispered something to you that made you look up at him with a smile.
It’s been a while since you smiled at him like that.
He consoled himself by saying that it was too early for something like that but was quickly discouraged by the fact that he himself made rash decisions without regarding how you might feel. During the encounter, Satoru kept himself grounded by entertaining the kids.
“Pour me another one.” He spoke to the bartender, before leaning on his forearm. This is bad, he thought. His girlfriend will definitely wonder why he’s trying to get wasted alone in the bar where he first met the mother of his child. If that happens, Satoru wouldn’t know what to say. She was such a good woman to him and he wouldn’t want to hurt her like that.
This is one of the reasons why he’s encouraging himself to move on, aside from the fact that he’ll probably never get you back. He has high respect and admiration for Naomi. She’s been nothing but a great person to him. She was there when his mind was a mess and she held him down. He wants to avoid breaking her heart.
Why didn’t you think of this before you gave up on Y/N? Have you no idea how much she put up with just to make it work with you?  A voice in his head spoke, pushing Satoru to down another drink. He’s fucking right, he thought. That voice was fucking right.
“Y/N gave up on me because I gave her every reason to. I gave up on Y/N because I was tired. I was never fucking fair.” Satoru cursed to himself, pulling his phone out just as his mind started to spin. He doesn’t even know if what’s happening is real. But Satoru has gotten enough confidence from the alcohol to spill out everything in his heart.
With a couple of taps, Satoru’s phone was ringing in his ear, waiting for the other person to pick up. “Hey,” A lazy voice rang through the speakers of the phone “...love you..” Satoru answered, coughing as he held his head with one hand.
Frustrated with the noise, Satoru made his way to a far corner. Pressing his back before sliding down to a sitting position by a wall. “...where are you?” Satoru couldn’t even hear her clearly. He laughed half-heartedly, sniffing as he teared up at her concern. “I still love you, Y/N. So, so much.” He spoke more clearly.
Little did he know, it wasn’t Y/N on the other end of the line.

pretty princess tea party; megumi fushiguro
Tumblr media
megumi decides to keep you company whilst you babysit your hyperactive niece.
megumi fushiguro x gender neutral reader fluff, pining, fake dating, confessions - 1.9k words
Tumblr media
megumi fushiguro was in over his head.
he didn’t know what compelled him to join you in watching your 8-year-old niece for a night, but for some godforsaken reason he did, and he was very much regretting it now.
but if he was being honest with himself, megumi doesn’t think he’d say no to you even if he could. something about the way your lips moved and your eyes shone when talking to him made him putty in your hands.
it was utterly embarrassing how compliant megumi was with you. it was like a new side was awoken when he was around you- all stubbornness and noncompliance vanquished from his body. he’d never admit to how he would be anyone you wanted if you so much as asked.
yeah, megumi fushiguro was infatuated and absolutely, definitively in love with you. but it’s a secret he’ll take to his grave- words he’ll never, ever admit to you.
or so he thought.
“you guys need to say ‘i love you’ to each other now.”
sitting in his tiny pink child’s chair at his spot in the doll party circle, megumi blanches and chokes on the imaginary tea he is drinking. you look equally taken aback, eyes widening at the little girl as she returns your gaze pointedly.
when your niece fails to elaborate, you clear your throat and raise a questioning brow. megumi stays silent, eyes flickering between the two of you as you spoke. “yui.. why do you want megumi and i to say- to say that?”
“because you love each other.”
megumi has to turn his face away from you at this, opting to scrutinize the wall next to him instead. he whips his head so quickly that the princess tiara he’d been forced into wearing slips, now hanging asymmetrically in his hair.
“you guys are dating. so you have to love each other.”
you gawk at your niece’s bluntness and megumi squeezes his eyes shut and forces himself to regain his composure.
“megumi,” you start slowly, and he struggles to make eye contact with you. your face is unreadable, but something he can recognize as amusement is prevalent. “come with me to the kitchen?”
megumi didn’t need further convincing. he lifted his knees from where they were pressed to his chest, wincing at the soreness from the children’s chair he’d been placed on, and followed you wordlessly as you evacuated yui’s playroom.
“we’re dating,” were the first words that left your mouth when you were certain yui was out of earshot. megumi stared. the pink plastic crown dug into his scalp. he blinked once. then twice.
“..what?”
“you and me. we’re dating for today. or, at least pretend, for yui.” you quickly added, trying to adjust your wording. megumi stared at you blankly and you felt a rush of embarrassment heat up your face.
had you assessed his feelings for you incorrectly? were you too blunt? god, you knew you shouldn’t have taken notes from gojo on how to be smooth. this was the worst idea, no way was-
“okay. fine.”
it was your turn to be silenced. but it didn’t last for long before a huge, stupid grin cracked your face before you took his hand in your own and laughed. “it’ll be fun, promise.”
Tumblr media
it was not, in fact, fun. torturous, was probably a better word.
megumi knew this was probably god’s way of punishing him for his sins because he was so fully aware that it was all fake when you looked him in the eyes and said ‘i love you.’ he hated that his heart beat so fast in his chest and he hated how he wasn’t lying when he replied, ‘i love you too.”
he must’ve done a fantastic job of hiding his inner conflict because your face bore no signs of understanding and yui simply giggled and continued hosting her tea party. but megumi payed no mind to what the girl was saying- he was too focused on you.
the way your skin was decorated with cheap rhinestone jewelry and mardi gras beads, and how the stupid plastic crown adorning your head matched your eyes almost perfectly, and your stupid voice when it changed an octave to fit the role of ‘tea party royalty’- megumi couldn’t help but fall farther in love with you.
but he was reminded that he could never have you when you looked back at him with that stupid look of yours, the one he didn’t know was only for him.
“i’m getting bored,” yui frowned, snapping megumi out of his thoughts. “let’s play a new version of this game!”
the little girl stood, grabbing your arm and then megumi’s and ushering the both of you to sit close together on the floor. the distance between the two of you was miniscule, and your eyes grew wide when you felt his hand accidentally brush your arm.
“sorry,” megumi said upon noticing your reaction, scooting further away. you internally cringed at yourself for losing the proximity, but forced a response. “no worries.”
yui stood in front of the two of you, her fairy wings and tiara askew, as she examined the both of you.
“okay, new game. you’re my parents,” she said, pointing to both of you, “and we’re still fairy princesses. and we live in a big castle in the sky and you have to take me to fairy school everyday.”
you and megumi exchanged a glance before you nodded at the girl. “okay, sounds good,” you said with a too-tight to be genuine smile. “how do we play?”
after about 10 minutes of royal fairy princess decrees and magical powers, yui was bored. again.
“this doesn’t feel right,” the girl scowled. megumi looks at you before speaking, “maybe we could take a break for lunch-”
“no!” he snaps his mouth shut at yui’s ill-tempered retort. he remembers why he doesn’t like kids.
“yui,” you chide, “that was mean.”
she doesn’t respond. instead, she strokes an imaginary beard as if she’s contemplating the biggest decision of her life. after a few seconds of pensive silence, with you shifting closer to megumi out of discomfort (making him go still as a deer in headlights,) yui’s eyes light up and she raises a finger animatedly.
“i have an idea!”
nothing could have prepared either of you for what was about to come out of her mouth.
“you guys have to kiss and stuff.”
silence. you stare at yui. yui stares at megumi. megumi stares at you.
“why?” it was megumi who spoke first, again baring no reaction in his face or his voice. but his heart was running a million miles a minute and his skin felt so hot he might melt.
“because,” yui whines irritatingly, “you guys are married, remember? you’re my fairy royalty parents so you need to do what married people do and kiss!”
more silence. more staring. until, you speak:
“okay. sure.” you’re trying to be cool about it, but your voice cracks just a little bit, thankfully, megumi is too busy boring holes into your skull with his eyes to notice. yui cheers and sits back down next to her dolls, busying herself with fixing them new servings of cookies and tea.
“so, my love, what do you say?” megumi winces at the sarcasm dripping off the pet name and he reminds himself that this is all just pretend. it’s all pretend, it’s all just a game, and your lips look really soft and he really, really wants to kiss you.
but none of it is real. so he stands quickly, avoiding your gaze, and speedwalks stiffly out of the playroom, muttering some excuse about needing to use the bathroom. he doesn’t see the look of subtle heartbreak on your face.
Tumblr media
the rest of the day is awkward, to say the least. megumi sits as far away from you and yui as possible, remaining only slightly engaged in the games at hand. if he noticed your stolen glances at him, he said not a word.
just before dinner, it was finally time to leave. yui was bidding you goodbye at the door whilst her parents busied themselves with starting dinner, and she pulled you down to her level and whispered something in your ear.
megumi watched from a distance as your face reddened and you hushed the small girl’s incessant giggling. he spoke to you as he had been since the incident- in short, disconnected phrases. he didn’t look at you as you walked over, only asking, “you ready to go?”
you nodded and got into the passenger's seat of the car. it was a quiet drive, back to the dorms, and the tension was thick as could be. it practically suffocated you, and you think megumi was experiencing the same thing with how his grip on the steering wheel turned his knuckles white.
you weren’t expecting him to say anything. his silence was enough an answer for you, and you respected it. but the stillness was shattered when he let out a huff of air and pulled the car over.
you were on a long stretch of empty road. the darkness of the sky revealed dozens of stars lighting up the night. the moon was a sliver of white gold. you looked over to megumi, and he kept staring straight ahead, out of the front window of the now parked car.
“why’d we stop?” you words were quiet, almost a whisper, even though there was really no reason for it.
“i can’t do this anymore.” megumi’s answer was simple, but it made you furrow your brow. he still wasn’t looking at you.
“do what?”
“pretend.”
you blinked. “pretend? megumi, yui’s gone, we don’t have to pretend to be anything anymore. you know that, right?”
finally, megumi met your gaze. you couldn’t read his expression, but a sort of clarity had made itself clear in his eyes. it was addictive- you wanted him to keep looking at you like this. you wanted him to look at you forever.
“that’s not what i mean.” you waited for megumi to keep going, but no more words came out. your hand moved forward to take his own, resting it in your lap.
“then what do you mean?”
it was quiet for a few more moments. megumi looked away from you and up at the night sky and you felt almost empty at the loss of his gaze.
“i’m tired of pretending like i’m not in love with you.”
you inhaled sharply, closing your eyes like he’d struck you. you hadn’t expected a confession, even though you’d longed for one for as long as you could remember- if you were being honest with yourself, you had been prepared to play this game of cat and mouse for the rest of your life.
but here it was. here he was, so clear with how he felt for the first time since you’d met him, so blatant and obvious that you regret not kissing him sooner.
kissing him. it was something you’d thought about so embarrassingly often that it was almost muscle memory when you leaned over the center console and slotted your lips against his.
it felt so indescribably right when he kissed you back, a kiss full of pent up feelings and boundless emotions. he tasted like mint and the sugar cookies you’d baked with yui earlier.
it was in this moment that megumi fushiguro was very, very glad he’d agreed to help you watch your niece. yeah, maybe he’d been in over his head. but now he had you, and that was all that mattered.

cursed love
Tumblr media
chapter 1
pairing: suguru geto x fem!reader
word account: 4.0k
synopsis: When Yui returns after a year she finds that everything had changed, Suguru had changed, he had become a complete stranger. Promises were broken, like fragile threads broken by the weight of disappointment. The darkness had invaded all love, cursing it forever.
author's note: Hiii this is the first time I have uploaded something to this platform and I'm really excited that this is precisely my first job. I've been fantasizing about this story for quite some time now, literally every time I went to sleep. I plan to make a short but emotional story, I want that through Yui's character we can create a kind of connection with Suguru and come to understand him. I hope you like it!
“Suguru!” Yui ran and pounced on the body of the black-haired man, who, it should be noted, was already prepared and with his arms open.
Suguru laughed sweetly as he heard her murmur into his neck how much she missed him, followed by all kinds of cheesy and endearing words. He hugged her waist and brought her closer to his morphology, seeking more contact, more intimacy, and he knew that Yui felt the same way when he felt her tremble with emotion. Suguru was still surprised at how much he could feel for a person, both physically and emotionally. Yui was everything to him, their personalities complemented each other based on their needs, they shared the same ideals and sense of justice, even their cursed techniques were compatible, if there was such a thing as soulmates, Suguru was sure that Yui was his.
“Why do you always have to be so loud?” Gojo lowered his glasses just a little so he could see more clearly the pathetic little romantic scene between his best friend and his girlfriend.
Yui didn't pay attention to what Gojo had said, and how could she when her entire world was in front of her? She separated from Suguru only to take his beautiful face in her hands, and then she dedicated herself to scrutinizing every tiny detail and imperfection in that face that she loved so much, trying to compile everything in her memory, since she had to be gone for a full year towards a spiritual retreat.
Her last mission had been a complete chaos, her powers went out of control and she caused scandals by not having put up a protective curtain. Her uncle, Yaga Masamichi, at the request of the bigwigs was forced to send her to another continent, where she would be under the tutoring of shamans specialized in cursed techniques, all with the aim of perfecting her powers and avoiding a greater disaster.
Yui was a little depressed, because even though she understood the seriousness of the situation and how necessary this retreat was for her, she couldn't help but feel bad when imagining herself separated from Suguru for such a long term.
Even though they lived together and studied in the same place, they hadn't had much time alone lately, and she knew she had to get used to it, it was a vile paradox, the more time passed the less they could enjoy it. This was the life of sorcerers. There was always a risk, death followed them on bloody bare heels, security and stability were not options in that world.
Yui loved her job, but sometimes, just sometimes, she wanted a normal life.
“Suguru, let's eat sweet curry with apples.” Yui said this with the intention of annoying Gojo, because that was what their relationship was based on, it was a kind of healthy and reciprocal bullying.
“With extra honey?” Suguru asked, picking up on his lover's playful intentions.
“Yeah, just the two of us.”
“Why are you making plans without me?” Gojo felt offended, because it was more or less his favorite dish, that was a vile betrayal.
“You've had Suguru for a long time! It's not fair. I will talk to my uncle to assign you to go on separate missions.” Yui clung to Suguru's right arm like an infant to her mother's.
"Good luck with that, I've heard that Yaga isn't very happy with you." Gojo alluded to the reason why she was leaving.
Hayashi Yui, second year student of the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College and first grade sorceress. Her cursed technique consists of controlling curses, manipulating and directing their cursed energy to her will. Unlike Geto Suguru, who can also control curses, Yui possesses a deeper and more sentimental approach. While Suguru uses curses as destructive weapons, Yui seeks to understand and master curses, influencing them to try to change its primitive nature. Yui focuses on the emotional connection, she understands that curses are beings trapped in a cycle of hatred and suffering, and seeks to free them from that burden through her control.
The acquisition ritual involves gaining an empathic connection with the curse you wish to obtain. To achieve this, Yui undergoes an intense trance where she mentally connects with the curse. As she deepens the trance, her consciousness merges with that of the curse, allowing her to understand its origin, motivations and way of acting; Once the connection is established, Yui has complete power over the curse.
Suguru absorbs curses orally, and Yui does so through a special necklace that she has worn on her neck since birth, a family heirloom that has been passed down from generation to generation.
However, manipulating curses is a complicated art; if Yui fails to maintain a stable connection with the curse, it can rebel and become uncontrollable, even possessing her and seriously harming her. Additionally, the internal fighting process can be exhausting, limiting the number of curses she can control at once and the duration of her mastery.
“Have you been meditating as I told you?” She could hear the concern in Suguru's voice.
“Meditating is boring.” The voices of curses came to overwhelm her so much that she completely lost her attention and concentration.
“If you don't have discipline, how do you plan to have self-control? You should start internalizing that so that the retreat is not in vain.”
Yui hated that Suguru had a perfectly logical answer for everything, but she also loved him for it.
“I know, but it's difficult. I don’t like doing it without you.” Everything was always easier and more enjoyable with Suguru present.
“That's not an excuse, you take a big risk during your rituals.”
Yui didn't like the look Suguru was giving her, he looked so serious and cold, it scared her and made her feel like she was doing something wrong.
“I've only been possessed once.” For some reason, that comment had sounded very clever in her head.
“And it doesn't seem serious enough to you? If it has happened once, what assures you that it will not happen again? You are not only a threat to yourself, but also to others. You must be responsible for your actions and become aware of the magnitude of your power.” It sounded like Suguru was scolding her, and Yui really despised being treated like a child.
“Curses don't control me, I control them. That incident only happened because it was a special grade curse and I was not familiar with that class at the time.” If there was something that characterized Hayashi Yui, it was her great pride and her inability to recognize her mistakes.
Suguru noticed her defensive attitude and hugged her lovingly, taking advantage of the difference in height to inhale the sweet aroma of her hair. God, how he would miss that stubborn brat.
“I'm just saying that with great power comes great responsibility. I want you to take the spiritual retreat as something serious that will help you grow individually and professionally. I'm not lecturing you or telling you what to do, I just want the best for you. Ensuring your safety is the most important thing to me.”
Could Yui love that man more? No, definitely not.
“You are unable to control your own powers, that's pitiful. It can be said that you have failed as a sorceress, I don't even understand how you are classified as first grade.” Gojo interrupted the tender moment.
“Not as pitiful as your face.”
“Well, your sister doesn't think that.”
"I do not have a sister." Yui argued with a frown.
“If you had one, I'm sure she would be at my feet, just like everyone else.”
“Narcissistic bitch.” Yui smiled amused, she would really miss that asshole with superiority issues.
“If you had this face you would be one too.”
Suguru just watched them in silence, used to being a mere spectator during these types of childish fights.
“This girl, Tengen-sama's vessel… is she cute?” Yui suddenly asked.
"Why do you ask that?" Suguru didn't understand until he saw the discreet blush on Yui's face, she was jealous.
“If my boyfriend is going to spend the next few weeks taking care of a strange girl, I deserve to know what she looks like.” Yui defended herself, crossing her arms and raising one of her eyebrows to look intimidating when in Suguru's eyes she only looked more adorable.
“The girl on the subway wouldn't make jealous scenes like this, I told you that you should have asked her for her number.” Gojo brought a controversial comment into the conversation.
“What subway girl?”
“Satoru is teasing you.” Suguru sighed, patting his best friend's head superficially.
“Anyway, why should you guys protect her? We are sorcerers, not bodyguards.”
“It's a little more complicated, Yui.” Suguru tried to reason with her.
"I am aware." Her uncle had informed her of the situation, in fact, the initial plan also included Yui in the mission, but the results of her latest mishap changed the course of events. “However, I still don't understand why you two are going alone.”
“Because we are the strongest.” Gojo replied with his chest puffed out with confidence.
“I don't have a good feeling.” Yui said, touching her necklace and feeling the enormous amount of cursed energy coming out of it.
“You never have a good feeling.” Suguru grimaced a little.
“It's because I don't want to lose you.” She confessed without further ado, her eyes taking on a layer of sadness and heartbreak.
She had already lost her parents, she couldn't lose Suguru too. Not Suguru.
“You won't lose me.” He adjusted Yui's bangs so that they weren't in the way of her view, he knew how much she got irritated when that happened.
“Do you promise you'll be here when I get back? Promise it, tell me you’ll be alive.” Yui knew she was speaking crudely, but it was how she felt, and she had never been good at hiding her feelings.
Suguru could sense her fear and that made his own heart ache, the connection between them was on another level.
“I'll be here, waiting for you, as always. Everything will remain the same, nothing will change. Do you trust me?" Suguru took Yui and kissed her forehead protectively.
"I love you." That was her response.
“Yui, if you asked me to describe love in one word I would say your name. And I love you in the craziest way possible, and in manners that I never thought existed, and that's the great thing about being by your side, you make me believe that anything is possible. Every day I learn something new from you, I discover a thousand unknown universes in your eyes, and my ears melt when I hear your honey voice. You are my favorite spring, my dream come true, the song I can't stop listening to. I would recognize you in every past life and in the following, because you are the one and only true love of my life. I want everything with you, a future, a house, a family, I want my children to have your smile and that funny expression you make when I talk to you about something you don't understand. So you can rest assured that I will not leave this world without first achieving all those things, okay?”
Yui knew that Suguru couldn't guarantee all that considering the kind of life they both had. But for that moment she decided to ignore all that and be happy, in that moment it was just them, Suguru and Yui, a normal boy and a normal girl fantasizing about worldly things.
She pulled him to her lips and they shared a bittersweet kiss that tasted like a “see you soon,” and not a “goodbye,” and that was enough, it was more than enough.
“You guys are so disgusting.” Gojo placed a hand over his mouth, as if he was going to throw up.
“You're just jealous.” Yui stuck her tongue out at him and ruffled his white hair.
“Of course not, why would I want a relationship? "That's a waste of time." Gojo had never considered such a thing as a relationship, he was the strongest, he had responsibilities to the wizarding world and his clan, he couldn't afford to carry the burden of caring for someone else, and to be honest, he didn't even care.
“That is why you will be left alone, four eyes.”
“They are six!” Gojo protested, indignant.
“Will you be careful?” Yui had to ask regardless.
“Of course, like always, plus I'm with Satoru.”
“That doesn't give me much security, Satoru is impulsive and always gets involved in suicidal situations.”
Gojo had the instinct to contradict her, but after thinking about it he knew that he had no choice but to accept the exposed reality.
"Yui!"
The named girl turned around and saw her uncle waiting for her in front of a limousine with all her luggage.
It was time. Her hands began to shake from anxiety and nerves.
Suguru intertwined his hands with hers and smiled at her in that way that was so typical of him, his slanted eyes turned into two half-moons.
“Have confidence in yourself, I know you can do it.”
Yui nodded, now determined and full of encouragement. She said goodbye to the pair of friends for the last time with a knot in her stomach.
And as she walked towards her new destination she thought about Suguru's words.
Everything would remain the same.
Nothing would change.
Suguru had said it, and Suguru never lied.
Right?
❪∘∘∘❫
Once again before her eyes was the school, her happiness was so much that she couldn't stop smiling, and even though the corners of her mouth hurt it didn't matter, because she was minutes away from meeting the person who had kept her sane and motivated throughout the time she had spent away. When she entered she was surprised to notice the desert, and it was true that there weren't many students, but for some reason, everything felt emptier.
Yui walked towards her uncle's office, and the closer she got, the more horrified she became. She was hearing screams through the walls, and they weren't from just anyone, it was Gojo Satoru's voice, and he sounded angry, Gojo Satoru was never angry, she hurried over and found them in the middle of the hallway, in what seemed like halfway of a discussion.
“Yui.” Yaga's eyes widened, tired lines decorating his forehead from stress.
"Everything's fine?" Yui's anxiety was reflected in the constant clicking of her foot against the wood of the floor, she dropped her luggage and approached the pair with anxiety disguised as curiosity.
Of course nothing was right, her uncle wore a heartbroken and crestfallen expression, his posture did not look confident and intimidating like it always did. And Gojo, he was unrecognizable, he was evading her presence in a very forced way, a sad grimace overshadowing his typical shameless smile.
Alarm bells went off in Yui's head.
Something bad had happened. Something very bad.
“I need to talk to you about something serious.” Yaga cleared his throat, not knowing where he should start, seriously considering a correct way to break the news, when there was no correct way.
“Where is Suguru?” The question came out loud after being decoded in her mind.
Yui did not go unnoticed by his relative's body language. At the mention of her boyfriend, he swallowed and avoided eye contact.
"Let's talk first."
“We will, just let me look for Suguru, I need to see him.” Yui was going to take another step when Yaga shouted her name seriously, and then she had her confirmation, it was Suguru, something had happened to Suguru, to her Suguru.
"Read this." Yaga handed her a stack of documents.
Yui took the reports and began reading almost immediately, her heart was racing in her chest with each new piece of information her brain acquired, her hands were shaking like jelly, and her legs were in no better condition. By the time she finished, Yui felt on the verge of a panic attack, she wanted to bite off her nails and rip off her tongue until it exploded with blood, until she felt something other than confusion right now.
"What is this?"
"Just what you read, it's all true.” Yaga confirmed.
"Shut up!"
Gojo and Yaga looked genuinely surprised, Yui never raised her voice at anyone, she was always so polite and respectful.
“Suguru is not a murderer. This is a lie… they are lying. You're lying!" She had officially panicked, suddenly she felt an invisible rope settle in her throat and not let her breathe.
“I would like to be wrong, but it's the truth. Geto Suguru is a fugitive and has been sentenced to death.”
The word “death” followed by Suguru's name made Yui lose her temper.
"No! What did you do? How did this happen?”
Yui peppered Gojo with questions, she rushed towards him and began to hit his chest without force to take out her anger.
"Where were you?"
A hit.
“Why did you let him do this?”
Another one.
“Everything was supposed to stay the same, nothing would change.” Yui fell to the ground and began to cry uncontrollably, her cursed energy felt at its limit, for a minute Yaga was afraid that it would get out of control and destroy the entire place.
“Yui.” Gojo tried to comfort her, but she patted his hand before he could touch her.
“Don't come near me.” She growled at him with bloodshot eyes. “You didn't protect him, you're a shitty friend.”
That was enough, Gojo couldn't take it anymore. He would take any insult, but he would never allow himself to be labeled as a bad friend. It hadn't been his fault that Suguru had made bad decisions, nor had it been his fault that he hadn't realized that Suguru had been depressed. He had been busy all the time, plus he wasn't a fucking psychologist, he wasn't even an observant person.
Does he knew it wasn't his fault?
Yeah.
And despite knowing it, he punished himself for it?
Also.
“Suguru is a murderer. Get over it and stop acting like a fucking little girl, you're not the only one who's suffering.”
Yui gained momentum and stood up at lightning speed with the sole objective of slapping Gojo Satoru's boastful face, and she succeeded, and yes, indeed, it felt as good as she had imagined.
“Don't you dare to lie about him.”
“Yui, that's enough.” Yaga intervened when he saw that things were getting out of hand.
Yui screamed loudly and covered her ears. The voices, the curses did not stop, they made a lot of noise, they were making fun of her.
“You don't understand, I'm sure he had his reasons. No, I know, someone is manipulating him, it's not his fault. I… I will make amends, I will find him and this misunderstanding will be resolved, Suguru will return and everything will be fine, everything will be as before.” Yui had a flurry of possible theories that didn't make her look very sane.
“You're being delusional.” Yaga was worried about his niece's health.
Gojo answered an incoming call.
“Shoko… this is not a good time.”
Yui frowned as she heard Satoru swallow a gasp, whatever Shoko had said had gotten to him. Instinctively, her mind related it to Suguru, and she only needed to share a look with Gojo to confirm it.
“I'll be there in five minutes.” He hung up and focused his intense blue eyes on Yui. "Come with me."
❪∘∘∘❫
Yui heard the confrontation between those who were once inseparable. She still had a hard time assimilating what was happening, her head hurt like hell and she really wanted to throw up. Everything was so confusing, she felt like she was under the effects of a hallucinogenic substance, far from reality.
When she witnessed Suguru give signs of leaving, she came out of the shadows to confront him.
“Suguru.” She spoke with her voice weaker than ever.
Suguru's peripheral vision focused in her direction, distinguishing his lover from all the people passing by around him. Yui was there, looking as fragile as ever, like an unripe flower bud.
It had been so long, he didn't even have time to think that her return would be soon. And he was so happy, elated, Yui had arrived at the perfect time, now she could reign at his side, she would help him create his sorcerer's paradise.
“Yui. I'm glad to see you." Suguru smiled and raised his hand in a salute, as if nothing had happened, as if with that same hand he had not murdered his parents and hundreds of other people.
Yui experienced a secondary emotion, it was rage, anger bubbled in each of her arteries, shooting her blood into overdrive. She was sure that her face must have been very red and very, very haggard, because since she had arrived she had not stopped crying.
“Tell me it's a farce, please tell me someone made you do all that.” She was begging him, she just needed to get on her knees.
Even if Suguru had done those horrible things, Yui was willing to forgive him, between the two of them they would find a way to get rid of the problems, and Yui knew that Gojo would also join the plan.
Suguru's features hardened, and suddenly his eye orbs changed, he was looking at her like never before, in an empty, dark and soulless way, Yui hugged herself in an attempt to stop her shivers.
Who was that distant and cruel person?
“I know you didn't do it in your own free will. We can solve this, you just have to come with me and…”
“Yui, this is me.” Suguru said with a thick and discouraged voice. How could she, of all people, be so blind?
Yui opened her mouth to close it again shortly after, her mind was blank, she didn't know what to do, she was sleepy, she was tired, she just wanted to faint and wake up from that nightmare.
“I finally feel like I have a purpose in life.”
Yui wanted to hit him. God, she wanted to beat him until he got those absurd ideas out of his head.
“And what is that purpose? Become a genocide? Will you become what you hated? The Suguru Geto I know would never hurt the weak ones.” Yui was really convinced that if she talked to him, that if she made him see reason, that if she said the right things, Suguru would magically repent.
“This is who I am now, and if you want to be with me you will have to accept it.” Suguru said confidently, proud of what he had become. “You don't understand, I will create a new era, it will be a new world for both of us, a new beginning.” He told that with so much emotion, his ecstasy was so much that it fueled a demonic smile on his lips.
“I look at your face and I see the man I fell in love with, but I don't recognize him in your words.”
The tears fell without stopping.
Tears of disappointment.
Tears of suffering.
Tears of heartbreak.
“What you say is crazy.”
“What a disappointment, I thought you would understand me, but I was wrong. You are like the others. You don’t take me seriously.” Rejection and disgust were the protagonists on Suguru's face.
“It's not about that… Suguru, I didn't change.” Yui brought up the promise from a year ago.
“I did.” After saying these last merciless words, he turned his back on them, illegally ending the meeting.
"Don't do it, if you take one more step you will be accepting the accusations, you will be that monster they want to execute." Yui seriously hoped that her influence would have an effect on him, but it didn't, her hopes were broken, as was her heart.
“I woke up from the dream, Yui. There are no more songs. And, above all, spring is over.” Suguru uttered that brutal ultimatum and then continued his walk through the busy streets of Shinjuku.
Finally what Yui had feared so much happened.
The meaning of her name made sense.
She had been left alone.

Self Promo Tag Game
Fic authors self rec! When you get this, reply with your favorite five fics that you've written, then pass on to at least five other writers. Let’s spread the self-love 🤍
Thank you for the tag, dearest @prolix-yuy! I totally forgot this was sitting in my drafts... but there is no time like the present!
Hallmark, Holiday, Horny. (Dieter Bravo x F!Reader) - A smut-tastic holiday movie one shot with our dear boy Dieter. It didn't quite hit with notes, but I had so much fun revisiting this insane man. Writing Dieter's dialogue is always such a treat.
Something In the Movies. (Gojo Satoru x F!Reader) - My first attempt at writing the beloved Gojo. I have been so nervous to write him, but I love writing a softer, more whimper-y Satoru. Let my man have some peace.
Seeing You, Seeing Me. (Joel Miller x F!Reader) - Statistically my best work ever. This story still feels like a fever dream because of how fast I wrote it. I've never felt so sure and so connected to a piece, and I'm damn proud of it.
The Better Strategy. (Astarion x Tav) - My first non-'you' story on this blog. Astarion is very precious to me, so I enjoy exploring what intimacy looks like outside of sex. My Astarion has more of an aversion towards it, but he direly craves intimacy. pssst and this is updating tomorrow!
Silver Underground (Levi Ackerman x F!Reader) - This fic basically saved my life in 2023. I have never worked, never planned, never adored such a story, and it's all because of the community and friends I've built. I never, ever imagined the response and support it has gotten. Fingers crossed we land the ending, yeah?
NP tagging @littlerequiem @noteinabottle168 @enterthedreams @eupheme & anyone else!

BIG JJK SPOILERSSSSSSS LIKE REALLY BIG
This is for the may death never stop you JKK x MHA fanfic by Slexenskee
So it’s 1am for me and I can’t sleep, so I decided to write the idea that’s been sitting in my head for AGES. This all came to me when I realised character heights.
For info:
Hawks: 5’8
Dabi: 5’9
Gojo: 6’3 (!!! Never realised he was that tall)
Endeavor: 6’5
((Ps I’m a sucker for height difference. Through anything (romantic and platonic relationships, if there’s a height difference happening I eat it up).
[Later realised I think I got a thing for tall characters]
So to set the scene.
1) everyone close to gojo is semi aware of his past life, or more that there’s something more to the man that’s kinda other worldly.
2) Some big fights happened, like I mean the level BEFORE the final level big fight.
3) Someone’s hit gojo with a quirk that’s reverted him back to his old form that kinda is his body healed with scars from his death
Now gojos been hit into rubble, so no one can see him, and no one can see his new (well old??) form.
Everyone’s trying to collect themselves, contact help since the villains have fucked off somewhere, and just trying to do damage control (which is hard with busted radios everywhere). Hawks hasn’t been able to find Gojo and he’s worried just a small bit (cos gojo is so strong he can defend himself against anything, but also hawks can’t help but worry for his love).
Hawks quickly meets up with Yui, who he had dumped Eri onto when he had to quickly join the fight.
Him and Gojo had taken Eri out as a treat for the day, later running into Yui when shit went down.
They are trying to collect themselves, figure out what to do about Gojo missing; when suddenly, through the dark of night that’s just being lit from the city lights a man appears from no where.
He’s tall, well built, carrying himself like he’s tired, he’s wearing white baggy pants, a tight black shirt ripped at the bottom ( exposing the thick scar that seems to wrap around his waist), and scars covering the whole of the top half of his body (based of a fanart I’ve seen somewhere, with Gojo having healed). He looks familiar to all of them, but yet alien.
None of them react towards the man just standing there, with him almost standing at Endeavors height. Hawks asks who he is; this causes the tired man to falter a bit. The first to actually move is Eri as she runs at the man with her arms open, tears in her eyes.
“Satoru!”
The man crouches down so that she can run straight into her arms. (Gojo was worried something had happened to her during the big fight). He brought her in close, allowing her head to hide itself into his neck.
Hawks can’t believe it for a moment, but then he sees it. Past the scars, the different height, the different build (his Gojo is more skinny and leaner, while as the old Gojo had to build muscle quickly while locked away [ps I don’t read jjk, just get heavily spoiled a lot. So pls just go with the flow of what I’m saying]), Hawks is able to see that it’s Gojo Satoru, the man he loves.
He later becomes ashamed at himself for not noticing is sooner then Eri.
He quickly runs over to join the small hug.
Yui watches from afar, eyes widening in shock

So then only a few hours after that, they have found themselves at Endevours agency. They had managed to contact the other heroes and inform them of the chosen meeting spot, agreeing it was best to move onto the next plan with this big shot villains who are on AFO level.
Of course endeavour is the first one there. He sends Gojo a questioning look:
“What, don’t recognise your own son?”
That gets him slow widening eyes, and shocked silence.
Then the detective and Eraserhead arrive. The repetitive confused silence of them trying to see where they seen this tall scarred man before:
“Are you guys serious. I don’t even look that different.”
Slow widening eyes. Shocked silence.
After that Gojo had found scrap paper to write his name ‘Gojo Satoru’ proudly on it, then stuck it to his shirt with a safety pin. Sitting right on his chest. He sat down back with a huff, and crossed arms (hawks tries so hard to not stare at them. It almost feels like cheating when his man looks like someone else).
Then Deku and Shoto herd themselves in. Shoto looks at Gojo, then his name tag, opens his eyes slightly, almost opens his mouth in shock before he regains his composure. He nods and goes to sit down.
Deku isn’t as quick. His eyes had scanned around the room, at all the people seeming to talk about the event. When his eyes fall on Gojo, he just squints them; he starts mumbling some gibberish about recognising him from somewhere.
Gojo slowly moves one hand out from his arm pit (Deku watches the moments just as slowly), and moves the hands to point at the name tag.
Realisation hits, his eyes widen. Shocked silence. For a difference, Deku blushes (he felt a hint of his old crush return, but he went to squash it quickly).
You get the idea. A lot of people arrive, some not noticing Gojo, while others do and repeat the above process of freaking out over the hot, tall, muscley man brooding in the corner whose clothes are half falling off.
When all might had walked into the room and came to the same realisation, he was almost spewing blood.
For everyone (except the obvious people who ain’t attracted to gojo) the scarred covered man looked very different from Gojo (eyes and hair aside); but he was just as hot (gojo causing crisises again).
That’s all I can be bothered writing for now, might write more later.
The main idea is JJK!Gojo looks very different from MHA!Gojo. I’m going off memory from how Gojo been looking in the latest manga updates of him, which had him drawn bulky (which I love). JJK!Gojo is taller, has a more masculine features happening, bigger bulk, scares all over top half and such.
I def wanna up my drawing skills so I can show u guys how I’m imagining Gojo sitting and sulking, with his horrible name tag just there.
It’s now 1:52 so ima just upload this without looking over it and checking spelling. Thank you and good night.

Star Wars Games Japanese Dub
I just watched a clip of a Japanese VTuber playing that moment in Fallen Order. You know, that moment where Darth Spoiler shows up to make Cal question his entire life.
(This is the link in case anyone’s interested: https://youtu.be/PdBqXDXZLHI )
And I started thinking, who might be good voices for SWTOR characters. If anyone has any fancasts, please let me know. (This is not a comprehensive list)
Player Characters:
1.      Male Knight Male: Toshiyuki Morikawa (Minato in Naruto, Isshin Kurosaki in Bleach, Kagaya Ubayashiki in Demon Slayer. Also, he’s the OFFICIAL dub-over artist for EWAN MCGREGGOR, so…)
2.      Female Knight: Marina Inoue (Momo Yaoyorozu in MHA, Armin in AoT, Yoko Littner in Guren Lagan)
3.      Female Warrior: Romi Park (Edward Elric in FMA and FMA:B, Toshiro Hitsugayain Bleach, Temari in Naruto, and Teresa in CLaymore)
4.      Male Warrior: Noriaki Sugiyama (Sasuke Uchiha in Naruto)
5.      Male Inquisitor: Toshihiko Seki (Muzan in Demon Slayer)
6.      Female Inquisitor: Yumi Hara (Albedo from Overlord)
7.      Male Consular: Ryotaro Okaiayu (Byakuya Kuchiki in Bleach, Kokushibo in Demon Slayer)
8.      Female Consular: Nana Mizuki (Hinata Hyuuga, Naruto)
9.      Female Smuggler: Rie Kugimiya (Alphonse Elric in FMA and FMA:B, Happy in Fairy Tail, Kagura from Gintama)
10.  Male Smuggler: Yuki Kaji (Sonic in Onepunch Man, Shoto Todoroki in MHA)
11.  Female Agent: Shizuka Ito (Irina Jelavic in Assassination Classroom, Byleth in Fire Emblem Three Houses)
12.  Male Agent: Kazuhiko Inoue (Kakashi in Naruto, Gildarts in Fariy Tail, and Yoriichi in Demon Slayer)
13.  Male Trooper: Katsuyuki Konishi (Laxus in Fairy Tail, Tengen Uzui from Demon Slayer)
14.  Female Trooper: Miyuki Sawashiro (Daki from Demon Slayer, Minfilia from FF14)
15.  Male Hunter: Hiroki Yasumoto (Sado Yasutora from Bleach, Elfman Strauss in Fairy Tail)
16.  Female Hunter: Atsuko Tanaka (Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell, Konan in Naruto, Merlwybb Bloefhiswyn in FF14)
 NPCs
1.      Satele Shan: Miyuki Sawashiro (Daki from Demon Slayer, Minfilia from FF14) (Why Miyuki again? If you know, you know!)
2.      Darth Malgus: Kenjiro Tsuda (Atomic Samurai in One Punch Man, Hans in Konosuba, Kishibe in Chainsaw Man)
3.      Lana Beniko: this was a tough one. I can’t decide between Yui Ishikawa (Violet Evergarden, Mikasa Ackerman in AoT) and Ai Kayano (Y’Shtola in FF14, and Darkness). I’m leaning towards the former, but I see way too many similarities between Y’Shtola and Lana to fully discard this one.
4.      Theron Shan: Yuichi Nakamura (Gray from Fairy Tail, Mumen Rider from Onepunch Man, Satoru Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen)
5.      Valkorion: Naoya Uchida (Madara Uchiha from Naruto)

¡PLATÓNICO!YANDERE!Gojo Satoru x Komori! Lector (+fondo Yandere Gojo x Yui Komori)
Gojo Satoru: Final Brute
OC KIANNA de @nunezs-stuff
Pedido:
Advertencias: YANDERE, MENTALIDAD NO SALUDABLE, COMPORTAMIENTO OBSESIVO, intimidación menor, OOC Satoru Gojo.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Gojo Satoru X Reader
(Kaleidoscope Series: Love Me Now, Love Me Never Chapters)
Tumblr media
[Melodies and warabimochi. Satoru falling for an anonymous singer]
[Songs used: Hoshi To Kimi Ga Kieta Hi by HOYO-MiX feat. Yousa & Chiisana Koi no Uta by Yui Aragaki]
Got exams so I wanna leave something before my braincells gets dried up. Stay safe everyone.
Senritsu
Tumblr media
I.
"Hagane no ori aoi hitomi
Kusatta sekai ni omareta
Heita kokoro haiiro no sora
Nanoni kimi to atta..."
These blue eyes caged in steel
Were born in a rotten world
My heart was growing cold under the grey skies
I met you despite that.
Gojo Satoru is a man of many taste, he isn't picky about his song genre nor does he listen attentively to the songs either, if the tune hits him he would find himself humming it during vacant times or while ticking off the higher ups.
"Giniro no kami aka ni somatta
Yasashikute dakarete
Kimi wo mamoru tame no inochi
Nano ni naku natta"
Your silver hair was stained red
I gently embrace it
And use my life to protect you
Even so, you're gone
It just so happens Ijichi turned on the radio in hopes to keep his chatterbox of a senpai from talking to him which usually leads to blackmailing. The stereo was tuned in to a radio channel with a girl singing in soft calming voice.
"Hiikari ga, tsuyosugi kara
Wasurete, kono hoshi to kimi wo
Kotaete... Koe wo karashite
Kanjou sae kieta boku ni."
The light shines strong
To forget you and stars above
Answer me... My voice drying up
And all of my feelings disappear.
Satoru has heard thousands of songs some forgotten some engraved to his brain but for the first time the song reach him with the softness and profound sweet voice of the singer.
"Who's the singer?" Satoru asked, removing his crossed arms and stare intently to the stereo as if he could who's singing in it.
"Ah, it's Senritsu, the famous singer with no face, have you heard of Senritsu Gojo-san?" Ijichi smiled, he is an avid fan of the singer too despite the lack of public appearance the person behind never fail to deliver the songs in the most ethereal singing.
"Hmmm, iyaa—haven't heard." Satoru hummed pulling out his phone to search for this Senritsu but all information lead to the person who works as freelance singer/songwriter, the gender isn't even specified. Other than career nothing more.
His hairs prickle just listening to her voice and the story of the song flowing so natural and clear out of the lyrics she's singing. And his heart feels like leaping and calming down listening to the songs—he's so immersed he didn't realize he's been playing the songs over and over and over the week, from waking up to sleeping his phone is on loop for the songs and the voice of the mysterious singer.
II.
"Did you hear Senritsu's new song?!"
"Yes! That totally made me a fan, how can Senritsu sing so calm and painful?"
You listen to the girls on the train. Subconsciously tucking your mask higher to hide your face. Crowd has never been your best of places to be.
It's not like they can recognize you but a force of habit.
The new release song of 'Senritsu' is being played all over the downtown from passerbys listening to their phones or shopping malls and convenience store with.
You made your way to a cafe your friend reccomended for their cheese rolls. The moment you entered the established another song of Senritsu is being played.
"Two boxes of cheese rolls please, and a cup of hot chocolate with a glass of warm water dine in—" you paid for the amount flashed on the screen and wandered to the farthest table at the corner of the cafe waiting for your order.
Lately you're in a bottleneck from hectic schedules and deadlines. Even without the public image, Senritsu behind the mic and studio is working hard to give the best and beautiful songs the listeners listen to brighten their day.
At first you never ever expecting you would hit it this big. Not to mention how easily you could sing behind the walls but when it comes to talking you're a mute as the mic with no power. But here you are now, your song reaching all these people making them happy even just at the small span of 3-5 minutes song.
"Ahhh!"
Someone loudy gasp startling you, you look up and face a strange looking tall man with unusual silvery-white hair and shady blindfold beside your table.
"That's Senritsu X Kryios Inc limited edition music player and earphones!" The tall man gush over you, without your invitation he flop himself across the seat facing you and passed you a grin.
"How did you get it? I've been looking out for that the whole week—I didn't sleep waiting for the release but it was sold out," he sighed heavily like a conundrum is being presented to him.
"Are all Senritsu's song downloaded there?" He lean to you making you ease back from the straightforwardness of a stranger who literally welcomed himself with no hi or hello.
Still you find yourself nodding. You didn't miss his wide smile that turned to a pout.
"If only I finished my job faster~"
The waiter arrived with you food, giving the man a conscious look he just wave and smiled.
"Go ahead, I hope you don't mind me. Nanamin doesn't listen to me when I talk about Senritsu—that guy tsk, tsk, tsk," he shake his head.
Awkwardly you nodded and brought down your mask savoring the soft bread not too sweet not too bland with the plenty of cheese stuff inside. How could they make the bread so soft and perfect?! Sipping from the hot chocolate you sigh, utterly satisfied, the piling work forgotten and covered by the sweet haven you're absorbed in.
Unbeknownst to you, Satoru eyed the lady in front of him. It's as if she totally forgot about him with all the cute reaction and sighs every time she excitedly bite on the cheese rolls and chocolate. Too cute! He smiled already mesmerising of how she kept sinking in her own space of comfort and not afraid to express her delight.
Realising the man before you, you offered the other box of cheese rolls which he politely accepted and when his pancake arrived he shared the half with you as well which you hesitantly accepted, a little bemused at the fact you're sharing food with an absolute stranger but he doesn't project any hostility or suspicious acts.
Taking up to his kindness you took half the slice and inwardly melted at the perfect blend of cream and souffle.
"Neh~ what's your favourite song of Senritsu?" The man started again.
You shake your head preferring not to speak a word.
"Eh?! Why?" He gasped, it's a little hard to guess what is he thinking with the blindfold.
That got you thinking too. You like your songs alright but it's not that you can remember each of them.
Typing in your phone's notepad, you show your answer to the man.
"Hmmm, I agree I can't also choose they're all my favourite!" He resumed grinning, and calmed down. It's not everyday he gets to chat with a fellow fan who let's him be with his chaotic energy.
Your phone chimed a call from an appointment.
Typing your first and last question you held it to the man, seeing him visibly froze and lean closer. You still haven't asked if he can see with that shady blindfold on his eyes.
"Hmmm..." He cross his arms and thought for a second.
"My message for Senritsu huh? Be safe and take care, never forget to drink warm water and I recommend the warabimochi from Saryo Suisen in Shinjuku~" he chirped.
The unique last line got you, squeezing out of you a chuckle.
'Take care Mr Blindfold.’ typing one last you wave goodbye exiting the cafe with a smile underneath your mask.
Back in the cafe, Satoru was about to also leave too when he notice the music player that got him conversing with the unusual young lady.
'If you'd like and hopefully you would, please take this music player and may it brighten you when days turn grey,'
Satoru read it over and over, the writing a little clumsy but perfectly adorable to his eyes. Bringing the music player he's been longing for to his pocket he smiled to himself.
"Strange lady," he shake his head and ask a favour to the clerk of the cafe.
III.
"Are you going to really read all of that?" Your manager look at the two boxes overflowing with fan letters you insisted on picking up from the studio.
"They took the time to write it for me, it's the least I could do." Smiling you bid goodbye and hailed a cab to your apartment.
The cab is about to turn to the right when you remember the the stranger earlier.
"Ano, can you turn to Saryo Suisen in Shinjuku?"
After the short trip you find yourself in the living room sitting cross-legged with sheets of paper and your guitar strewn over the floor while relishing on the matcha flavour of the mochi and shiratama.
One by one you answered the letters through your blog, you notice 10 letters coming from the same sender all of them talking about sweets and cafés.
'The warabimochi from Saryo Suisen is delicious. Don't forget to drink lots of water after eating sweets.
—Senritsu'
You answered and thought back to the Mr Blindfold.
4 months later...
"Now, Senritsu will sing us a song for her another milestone, dozo—" the radio host announced and strumming of guitar filled the studio.
Satoru laid on his cold bed while listening to the music player he got from the lady in the cafe.
"Can I have a moment?" Soft voice asked and cleared her throat. It's the first time Senritsu ever talked besides than singing that got Satoru shot up sitting straight and pressed the earphones to hear as clear not to miss any of the words from her mouth.
"This song would be for a certain stranger I met in a cafe who barge in my table uninvited, the warabimochi he recommended was very delicious, I hope you're listening to this."
Satoru felt his blood ran cold and heart palpitate to the voice and words. Could it be? Please let it be!
"Anata to deai toki wa nagareru
Omoi wo kometa tegami mo fuero
Itsu shika futari tagai ni hibiku
Toki ni hageshiku, toki ni setsunaku"
Time had passed since I met you
And the letters adorning our feelings are also increasing
Someday they will echo unnoticed in our hearts
At times violently, at times painfully
He remember his letters are all answered in the blog. That's right! Senritsu answered back the warabimochi was delicious. He's grinning inside everytime he remember seeing the answer.
"Hora, anata ni totte daija na hito hodo sugu soba ni iru no.
Tada, anata ni dake, todoite hoshii, hibike koi no uta
Hora... Hora... Hora...
Hibike koi no uta."
Hey, the person who is important to you is right by your side
They just want to reach you, resound O song of love
Hey... Hey... Hey...
Resound, O song of love
Satoru immediately switch on his phone and the live chat was flooded of shock and swoons from the fans.
"Anata wa kidzuku, futari was aruku
Kurai michi demo, hibi terasu tsuki
Nigireshimeta te, hanasu koto naku
Omoi wa tsuyuko, eien chikau"
Even if the two of us should walk a dark road
The moon would illuminate our days
Never letting go of your hand
Our feeling are strong and we vow now it's for all eternity
"Eien no uchi, kitto boku wa iu
Omoikawarazu, onaji kotoba wo
Soredemo tarizu, namida ni kawari
Yorokobi ni nari, kotoba ni dekizu
Tada dakishimeru, tada dakishimeru."
Eternally recurring, I will surely say the exact same words
But those words will never cease
Still not enough, they will turn to tears
Become a joy, unable to speak
I will just hold you, I will just hold you
Satoru don't know anymore and immediately flip in his bed listening to the lyrics, wiggling like a flustered worm laughing like a lovesick teenage fool.
Such unbecoming for an adult but he don't care. It's not everyday someone would say "I will just hug you" to him, hell no one ever said that to him! No one ever made the effort to make him a song but here a stranger he never thought he'd meet is singing for him with all her heart. How is he supposed to calm down?
"Yume naraba samenaide
Yume naraba samenaide
Anata to sugoshita toki eien no
Hoshi to naru
If this is a dream, don't wake me
If this is a dream, don't wake me
The time I spent with you
Shall become stars and shine eternally
Hora anata ni totte, daija na hito hodo sugu soba ni iru no
Tada, anata ni dake, todoite hoshii hibike koi no uta
Hora, anata ni totte, daiji na hito hodo sugu soba ni iru no
Tada anata ni dake, todoite hoshii hibike koi no uta"
Hey, the person who is important to you is right by your side
They just want to reach you resound O song of love
Hey, the person who is important to you is right by your side
They just want to reach you resound O song of love
Fuck! It finally dawned him. You were there just by his side that day! That strange lady. The one with this music player he's holding.
Did you know he left his number to the clerk if you ever come back, to tell you he's wants to meet you again?
That's why you can't answer what's your favorite song. He thought you're a mute until Satoru heard your tiny chuckle. Those sighs and cute expressions of yours over the cheese rolls and hot chocolate.
"I'm screwed," he sighed smiling absentmindedly at the closing remarks of host ending the program.
How is he going to sleep? He can't unhear you anymore, he can't let go of the lyrics at all.
But he can't have you... Satoru knows, and Satoru won't push it because he knows his place.
IV.
The internet and tabs were all filled of the sudden song dedication asking for the identity of the person in the song.
Silently you pass by high school students gossiping about the hot topic. Sometimes you forget that the pseudonym of yours—Senritsu is famous nationwide reaching even overseas.
Adjusting your mask again, you went in the same café months ago.
"A box of cheese roll and hot chocolate please—" paying you went to the same farthest table which now is separated by a divider like a small private room the inside is the same but lot spacious and cute trinkets hanging like stars.
"Ano, that's a reserved table, you need to answer a question first the owner left." Sheepishly the manager excused.
Confused you offered to change seat instead, but the manager insisted asking the question.
"Where did you buy the warabimochi that day? P.S. Mr Blindfold." You burst a fit of laughter at the twisted face of the manager asking what seems to be a nonsensical question.
"Saryo Suisen," you smiled and the Manager's face lit up as if seeing salvation.
"Thank the kamisamas you finally came, finally I can stop asking the customers have been giving me strange look everytime."
You apologize profusely, but the manager wave it off.
"That man with blindfold bought and reserved this space for you, everytime you come here feel free to use this place."
Blown away you sat down the table. How do someone exactly buy the literal table and space in a café? That man must be crazy! Noticing the drawer you pull it open and a letter for you is inside.
That day you left the café in daze, still overwhelmed of the idea you got a free little room, all paid and reserved for you anytime.
Is that even normal?!
Dear Miss Stranger,
Glad you like the warabimochi. Use this space when your days are grey and don't worry I won't come see you unless you ask me to,
—Mr Blindfold,
You head to the nearest train station fumbling in your bag for your purse and tucking in the letter to the inner pocket, not noticing there's no more floor but a very steep stairs to your next step.
"Oi! That was dangerous~"
Your eyes widened bow you're literally hanging before you're death but someone pulled back your clothes to safety. Did you just almost die from your own feet?!
"Take care next time can't have you dying in such a lame way," hand pat your shoulder. Looking up you suck a breath.
"Mr Blindfold!" You gasp.
Satoru froze, taking in your appearance again, the mask on your face although covering half but he could recognize the eyes.
Qué sera, sera. He rushed here after receiving a call from the cafe manager in hopes to see a glimpse of you even just from afar and here you are.
"Yoh! Long time no see Miss, wanna grab cheese rolls and pancakes with me?" He grinned.
You shake your head mustering the thought bothering you.
"About the—"
Callous forefinger place over your lips shushing you.
"Let's talk about that somewhere else."
Agreeing you let him lead the way to a park not far.
"The song, I heard it over and over," Satoru started.
"I hope I didn't offend you in anyway right?" Cautiously you asked.
"No... Never, it's like a dream I never thought of dreaming of. You made it come true before I realize it." He smiled and took his seat beside you.
You can sense the next words, like a hunch and envision flashing itself before you.
"I c—" he started.
"It can't be right?" But you cut him off. Smiling you heave a breathe.
"I know, and I wasn't hoping for it either, the song is enough."
Satoru nod. He knew this was just not it. Your worlds are just too parallel.
"Thank you for the space, it was very cute." You chuckled remembering the cute trinkets and all.
"Take it, it's the least I could—"
Again you shake your head.
"I don't think that's a good idea. There are others who need that space more than I do."
Taking it as the conclusion you stood up facing him.
"The warabimochi, thank you that was more than enough Mr. Blindfold. Don't forget to drink water and take care of yourself. Matta itsuka, dokokade," bidding goodbye, you curtly bowed and turn your heels.
Is it possible to grieve over something that hasn't started? If so, then that's what your spasming heart and parched throat feels with every step your heart feels heavier than ever but you know it's just not it.
"How you say the saddest words with the softest voice..." Satoru sighed and got up heading the the other direction. Your worlds are just too parallel. And this meeting is asymptotic—only nearing at some place and drift away, never to touch again.

Pining so intensely for something you never had to the point where you physically ache.

Each step that you take away from Satoru’s house feels like a stomp to your already broken heart. Your eyebrows furrowed, feeling the waterlines of your eyes start to get hot and itch. You recalled the noises and laughs that you heard from them while you walked out of their door.
They have no idea how much you want to get down on your knees and beg them not to take away the only thing you have left.
Your feet feel heavy with each stride you make toward your car. You could taste blood inside your mouth as you bit your inner lip to channel the pain away from your heart and to your body instead. You found yourself looking for answers on why all of this has to happen to you. As if being replaced by the man you love so easily and having to see how he treats someone else a thousand times better than you were not enough, you also have to witness your own flesh and blood turn away from you. Am I really that far behind that woman?
Is she that much better that even my own child prefers her over me?
You placed your hands on the steering wheel, looking down at your lap as you let the tears fall. You kept glancing over at the gate, hoping that Satoru would come out, running with your baby in his arms. Yet, you don’t want him to see you crying miserably. You swallowed thickly, letting out a large breath in an attempt to get rid of the painfully heavy feeling in your chest.
Driving away was numbing, and all sorts of thoughts ran inside your mind. But above all of them, your eyes were focused on the toy store as it got bigger in your view. You wondered about what you could get your little love to at least make her smile when she comes home. You remembered how your gift to her, her favorite bear that she used to hug as she sleeps ever since she was an infant, was cast aside as she clings to her new ones.
Is that a foreshadowing of how you’d end up being in her life? It scared you.
Reaching the parking lot of the store, you looked at yourself in the car mirror, noticing your bloodshot eyes. You inhaled and let a big breath out slowly, puffing your cheeks as you assured yourself that it’ll be fine when she comes home later. Your head hurts so much but you can’t afford to care, stepping out of your car and heading to the front door of the store. The first thing you saw was a pregnant, young lady checking baby books.
She reminded you of yourself when you were still pregnant with Yui; curious about everything, eager to learn, and all was about the baby. You admit that it wasn’t like that at first, given that you were young and had to drop out of college at that time. You were anxious, torn between decisions, and terrified of what life would be like for you from that point in time. During that period, you and Satoru were ignorant but trying hard to figure everything out.
You met Satoru at a nightclub where you worked as a bartender. He was flashy, and women just flock to him as if it was the most natural thing to do around him but that night, his eyes were on you. What with persistent offers of buying you drinks and talking to your manager to let you off early for the night, you ended up in a luxurious hotel suite with him.
He even wrote his number on the price tag of the fancy lingerie set that he bought you after he ruined the one you were wearing the previous night. He was joking that you’ll never get enough so he’s providing you his contact for next time. You thought that would be the end of it. You didn’t think that it was just fate giving you a helping hand in advance because you’d end up with a child together.
You consider it a dumb mistake. You know that Plan Bs exist. But with a working student like you who couldn’t even have time to get a proper boyfriend, it slipped your mind. The first thing you did after you got the results was call Satoru. You thanked the heavens that he wasn’t seeing anyone, and that he remembers you. It was a tense meeting, what with you asking if he wants you to abort the fetus. Next thing you know, you two were already dealing with your mood swings.
“Look, I really want to work this out with you, Y/N. For the baby.” Satoru sighed, slamming the door behind him as he watched you sit on your old couch. You lean your elbows on your knees as you covered your face with your hands, harshly running them down your cheeks to wipe away the big, fat tears that fell from your eyes. There are just so many things going on with your life.
“I’m only 21, Satoru. I got my whole life ahead of me.” You looked up at his tall figure, frustration was evident in your eyes. You can tell that he was also distressed. His hair was messy, his jaw was clenched tightly, and even if you cannot see behind his tinted glasses, you can tell that he hasn’t been getting enough sleep. The dark half-circles under his eyes and the redness in them show just how exhausted and disquieted he has been in the past few days.
Satoru’s five years older than you. He was born to a rich family of politicians who don't and probably will never need support from him or the other younger generations in their household. He has a stable source of income, he could probably make life investments that could cover your yearly living expenses. He has nothing to worry about, he won’t be dropping anything if he decides to take in another mouth to feed. But you…
You’re basically your mother’s retirement plan and now you got pregnant with a kid of a man you barely know. “Y/N, listen to me.” He got down on his knees in front of you, trying to take your hands off of your face as you sob, struggling to catch your breath. What’s going to happen to you now? You didn’t even get to finish the degree that your mother was working her ass off day and night for.
“You won’t have to worry about anything, you know? I’ll handle everything you need—” He trailed, trying to calm you down as he gently grabbed your forearms. “You don’t understand!” You cut him off, snatching your hands away, aggravated that he’s not thinking about how it could affect everything in your life. “Then, what the fuck do you want to do?!” You flinched as he raised his voice at you, breathing hard as he backed away.
“You think you’re the only one who’s going to be affected by this? You think you’re the only one who’s being robbed of another future! Open your fucking eyes, stop being selfish!” Satoru snapped back, harshly taking his glasses off before throwing it across the room. You started to cry, whimpering as you used the collar of your shirt to wipe your tears away.
“I’m scared, Satoru. I’m just so scared. I can’t even take care of myself, how am I supposed to raise a child…” You broke down, turning your body away from him. There was a long pause, a moment of pure silence, save from your sniffs and Satoru’s ragged breathing.
You felt the couch dip as he sat down before pulling you to him, letting you cry on his chest.  “I know, I know. I’m sorry.” You would be lying if you said that the back rub, the temple kisses, and his whispers of reassurance didn’t calm you down. Those thoughts were recurring in your head and now that you finally let it all out and got answers from him, you were soothed.
You blinked hard, shaking your head to get out of your trance. You went straight to the dolls section. You can’t believe you just had a flashback of Satoru comforting you in the warmth of his chest. Your mouth started to twitch, wishing that he held you like that earlier when his girlfriend was slapping into your face that they’re gonna give your child siblings. It shouldn’t hurt you, but it still did. You realized that this girl, this woman is gonna have everything you wish you had with Satoru.
You walked past the kiddie pools and trampoline section, stopping when you saw a playpen, almost similar to the one Satoru bought for your little girl but smaller. The size doesn’t really matter though, because you know that you don’t have enough space in your place for something so big, anyway.
Going closer to check the prices, you bit your lip as your eyebrows bumped together. You were calculating your monthly expenses along with the money for your savings in case of emergency. It’s expensive but you’re determined to cut back just to buy it. You kept your eyes on the tag as you took half a step away from it but your back was met by something, or rather someone behind you.
“It’s not cheap, is it?” A man’s deep voice boomed as you turned around, but your eyes were met by a broad chest. He’s big, you thought. He’s literally blocking your view. It didn’t help that you were short enough to have to look up to see his face. He was also staring at the playpen as he held the pushcart beside him.
“Y-yeah…” You answered, a bit awkward as you found yourself admiring the guy. You admired fathers who are active when it comes to their children. You didn’t grow up with a father so, you just found it endearing. You looked away from the man, gritting your teeth as an image of Satoru and his girlfriend shopping for baby things appeared before your eyes for a split second.
“Excuse me, sir. I still have to buy my daughter a gift.” You bowed slightly before turning away. He just nodded his head, too occupied to even look at you. You proceeded to check out the little dolls, hoping that you’d find something that’ll really catch your daughter’s eye. Picking up a dark-haired baby doll with big blue eyes sitting on a stroller, you smiled as you remembered how it has the same eyes as your baby.
You went to pay for the doll, and your heart was filled with joy despite the throbbing pain in your skull and the hot feeling behind your eyes. You reminded yourself not to forget to take your medicine. Thinking about getting sick and having to leave your child for a couple of days with them again makes you anxious, afraid that she’ll never want to go home to you again.
You hurriedly went home, driving in the midst of the rain. You put the little doll on the chair, ready to surprise your baby girl when she comes back. You had to bear with the time, constantly checking your phone if your little girl and her dad are on the way to you. Your heart swelled at the thought.
Though, you know that you’ll never be the one he comes home to, it’s still nice to think about.
—--------------------------------
“She really called me Mama.” Naomi giggled as she kissed his daughter’s cheek. Satoru smiled, watching them play together warms his heart. It made him feel like he was staring at his family even if he knows that his daughter isn’t hers. He pursed his lips, remembering the look in your eyes at what you heard the child say.
He felt conflicted, not knowing how to react to all of it. He doesn’t want to embarrass his girlfriend by correcting her in front of you. But he also felt bad that he just watched you walk out that door on the verge of tears. Satoru had you memorized after all this time, it wasn’t a long time but he used to watch everything you do.
“I don’t think it’s a good idea, though.” Satoru sighed, shaking his head as he pushed a bit of Naomi’s hair away from her face. Her expression dropped as she adjusted the toddler in her arms. Satoru pulled her close to his side, hugging her waist as he thought about how to explain it to her without making her feel disheartened.
“I’m worried about how Y/N will feel about it, to be honest. I don’t know but it may worry her.” He kissed the side of her forehead before stepping away as he watches his daughter’s eyes look at them. He knows that she’s still too young but he feared that she’ll get confused by all of this.
Like why is her father not with her mother, and why is he holding someone else?
He wondered if she’ll grow to hate him for giving up on their family. “Oh, Is that so…I thought we were fine already.” Naomi’s voice was quiet as she bit her lip, making Satoru rethink. “It’s not that, I just think that maybe that’s how she might feel.” Satoru took one of her hands, kissing it before rubbing his thumb on her soft skin. “No, I understand, I got too comfortable. I’m just a girlfriend, I shouldn’t have done that.”
Satoru doesn’t want to make her feel like this, she’s just really attached to his baby. He knows that Naomi adores kids, they often joke around about it, so he could see why she’s excited about his daughter calling her Mama. Thinking about it now, maybe this shouldn’t be so bad. After all, she’s not gonna be just a girlfriend to him forever, right? Naomi is a great person, and Satoru thinks that it’s not impossible to have a future with her.
“Don’t say that. That’s just my assumption. She’ll tell if it’s not alright, I know. We’re co-parenting so we have to talk about those stuff.” Three squeezes to her hands made Naomi smile sweetly at him, her eyes as kind as the stars. “Yeah, discussions are important. I don’t want her to feel like I’m trying to keep her away from us.” The calmness in her voice comforted Satoru.
—-------------------------------------
After receiving a text from Satoru, you found yourself staring at the mirror, retouching your makeup like it’s gonna make him fall for you. Hopeless. Not long after, the doorbell rang and you dashed to the door. There, Satoru stood with Yui asleep on his shoulders. You took her bags, along with the teddy bear that she was hugging to her chest. Seeing her holding it again made you feel relieved.
“Are you feeling better now?” Satoru inquired, walking past you to put your kid in her little bed. You hummed in response, “She’s full, don’t give her any more milk. Naomi fed her before she fell asleep.” Her again. You thought as the small smile on your face dissipated. You’re just thankful that he didn’t take her with them here.
There was a moment of silence as the two of you watched your daughter sleep peacefully. A sigh escaped Satoru’s lips before he turned to you. He was about to say something, but closed his mouth, thinking. You took a deep breath, pursing your lips as you collected your thoughts. You started to rub your hands together, trying to get rid of the cold feeling on your fingertips.
Your communication issues with Satoru only worsened when he got a girlfriend. Seeing how he is with her made you doubt the importance of your words to him. It’s like if you get stuck in a room together with her and something happens, you’re almost certain that he’d accuse you first. You wouldn’t admit it but you yearn for him. You yearn for the way he acts towards her. You yearn for the things he does for her.
You yearn for the things he so easily, willingly offer to her; things you had to beg for when you were still together.
“Satoru, I just want to ask…Since when did Yui start to call Naomi Mama?” You looked at the ground, somewhat embarrassed of your question but can’t pinpoint why. It just made you feel…weak and insecure. And you are that. But you can’t let Satoru see it. You don’t want him to feel even more sorry for you. You can see it in his and his girlfriend’s eyes whenever they look at you. They probably pity you and the state you are in.
Alone. With no one to hold your pieces together but you.
“I don’t really remember. Look, I was going to mention that…” Satoru trailed, looking everywhere but you. He probably noticed your discomfort earlier. “I know it doesn’t seem right to you because she’s just my girlfriend but…” Here’s the “but” again. How come he can always find the good when it comes to her, even when she literally did you so wrong by letting your daughter call her Mama and even acting like one in front of you?
Ever since Satoru got a girlfriend, arguing with him started to feel like fighting in a war without any type of armor in your body. How are supposed to stand strong, when the fact that he’ll always be on her side was your weakness? There were times when you wanted to fight for yourself but you couldn’t bear to because you know that he was shielding her from everything, heedlessly deserting you.
“I didn’t really appreciate it. I mean… I-I just think she’s not in the place to—” You thought the words you chose to describe the situation were too risky when you were cut off by Satoru, taking his glasses off. You can’t read him but he’s looking at you with that apologetic gaze again. His face was filled with contrite and you can’t quite understand why. But like a mouse sensing danger, you wanted to run away.
“I…I’m thinking about proposing to Naomi.” It shouldn’t hurt. You told yourself again. You don’t have the right to feel hurt. This man disrespected you, hurt you, and made you feel so incredibly small yet here you are, wishing you were the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with. “I know she’s just my girlfriend now, but it’s bound to change.” You suddenly just wanted him to leave. “She…she’d like to ask for permission to let our daughter call her Mom. You know she treats Yui like she’s her—”
“I don’t want to.” You whispered firmly through gritted teeth, cutting Satoru off. You don’t wanna hear it anymore. You can’t go through that again and you can’t let that happen again. “Yui is my daughter, and I don’t want her calling anyone else Mama.” You looked up at him with glassy eyes before turning away to walk out of the room, not wanting to startle the toddler from her slumber. Satoru was instantly on your tail, calling your name.
“She’s my daughter, too. Y/n, what is wrong? I know that you have your limitations and that’s why I’m here to talk about it with you, but why are you acting like this?” He walked closer to you, trying to catch your eyes. “I know it’s not just about this, I know you’ve been having problems with her but give a reason, at least. She’s been nothing but good to our kid. ” It’s getting hard for you to breathe as you tried to process your emotions and his questions.
You proceeded to the kitchen, hurrying to grab yourself a bottle of water before you collapse, but failing terribly when Satoru spoke the next sentence “Y/N, we all have to adjust, don’t be unfair to her, she doesn’t deserve it.”
“And I do?!” You shouted at him, taking him by surprise and making him take a step back.
“You think she doesn’t deserve any of that shit but I DO?!” You lamented, shaking your head in pain and disbelief. There were tears streaming down your face and no pattern of breathing can help you control it. You were able to keep it in when he shoved his new girlfriend in your face several months ago, but now it’s taking its toll.
You were about to get the clothes that he bought for your daughter on your way home from work but were met with a woman snuggled up to him on his couch. You hated him for allowing you to see them like that when he knows that you haven’t even processed your split yet because a month before that, he was saying that he could fix his shortcomings for you and his daughter.
You remember how sick you felt in your stomach when he introduced her, saying that you weren’t supposed to see them like that. It’s revolting; how he thought that you were upset because of what you saw and not because he just went back on his words. Naomi kept her head down, standing in front of you as she muttered an apology before scurrying to Satoru’s room.
Naomi was his father’s new assistant and unlike you, she got to finish her studies. Despite being classmates in high school, she was three years older than you due to the frequent relocation of her family. Regardless of her tough childhood, she was known to be a smart kid. No wonder his mother approved of her in such a short amount of time.
You and Satoru were never perfect but it doesn’t mean that you were never happy with each other before. The issues overpowered your interest in each other, making it hard for the two of you to bounce back. You admit that you’ve been negligent of Satoru at a certain point of your relationship but it was only because you got tired of his ways.
He would come home late, making you stay up all night because he failed to reply when you texted him, asking him his whereabouts. He’d be out drinking with friends, and it wasn’t a problem but you just wanted him to at least let you know so wouldn’t be worrying to the point that you can’t even sleep.
His mother was overbearing. You got pregnant by someone’s son in a one-night stand and that’s all she paints you with. You were belittled and told that you can’t even take care of the child properly. Hell, was she so eager for Satoru to leave you and find someone better who achieved something in life.
Consequently, this negligence led to fits of jealousy from Satoru. This drove you to quit the job you used to have after a coworker of yours who only wanted to help became the subject of his suspicions. His mother saw you getting dropped off by your friend while she was babysitting your daughter.
It was only because your car broke down and you don’t want to bother Satoru at work. You couldn’t really blame him for thinking that way because you know that he’s been feeling invisible to you which wasn’t true. You just don’t know how to deal with it anymore and you started to pull yourself away.
It got to the point where you couldn’t even communicate how you truly feel about him because it was overshadowed by your problems. You were arrogant enough to tell him that someone could treat you right and do much better and now, look at you; standing before him and his girl. Longing for him and eating the words you spitefully told him.
Pining so intensely for something you never had to the point where you physically ache.
The memory was tormenting, heart-rending, and traumatic to you. And now you get to watch them write their happy ending while you are here, left in the dust, drowning in the feelings that will never ever get recognized and will never ever be relevant.
It hasn’t even been a year, and he’s already planning to marry her. He’s been nothing but better to her, yet, he couldn’t even change his ways for you and your child? Couldn’t he learn to truly love you after everything you endured just to be with him? You know that you have flaws, and chose some wrong steps and paths in your relationship.
But you can’t bear to lose him like this. You know that you could have fought more for your relationship. He’d always say that you’d work things out. So, why did he stop? How could he stop choosing you so easily?
“How could you give her the world, yet refuse me the tiny bit of what I have left?”
Your voice was small as you backed away, defeated. Satoru couldn’t move. From everything that has happened that morning, he could tell that you’ve been on edge. To Satoru, the only thing that connects you to him is his daughter. He refuses to believe that after all of that, you can still make it work.
At least, that’s the realization he came about when he met Naomi. She taught him that love isn’t supposed to be strenuous, it isn’t always about fighting. Within his tumultuous relationship with you, she came around and showed him that he’s seen. That his feelings are valid. He came to the conclusion that maybe he just wanted to love you because you have a child together.
“Tiny bit?” He asked, frustrated that you just won’t let this go easily, irked that you always think you’re the only one having a hard time. If Satoru’s being honest, he’s just tired of it all. He just wants you to understand his point and get it over with. But now you’re crying in front of him and again, he doesn’t know what to do. He can’t even think of the right things to say or the right decisions to make. It’s like it’s all back to square one with you.
“You call it ‘tiny bit’ when I couldn’t even live my life because of you?! I’ve given everything, Y/N! I just want to be at peace with everything and I’m obviously not having it with you!” You couldn’t even breathe through the piercing ache in your chest from the daggers that are coming out of his mouth. Your hand reached over to your chest, grasping your shirt as his every word irreversibly pulverized your already wounded heart.
“I wish I never met you that night and I wish I never had Yui with you. You’re a thorn in my side, Y/N!” By the time he finished screaming at you, you were shaking like a leaf, grabbing a chair beside your table as your wide eyes stared at him in shock. Grief, mortification, and agony were plastered on your face, and only then did Satoru’s words sink into him.
“Y/N, I—” Before he could even form a proper phrase, a loud cry erupted from the other room. Yui. He watched as you quickly wiped away your tears, seeing the emotions mix inside your eyes until they turned into a weeping void with all the tears pooling inside them.
“I…I loved you, Satoru. And I hate that even now when you’re kicking me while I’m down for the sake of someone else, I still love you.” The crack in your voice had Satoru subconsciously moving closer to you, opening his arms to pull you into him but you were quick to flinch away, sniveling.
“Please, just-just go. Do whatever you want, just d-don’t take Yui away. I’m fine with it now, Satoru.” It’s almost as though something in you died when he spoke those words to you. You don’t know if he heard because you couldn’t even hear yourself. You could feel the beat of your heart in your chest and each one of them sends a burning ache to your body. “Just go, please.” You whimpered as you bit your upper lip, looking down on the floor.
Satoru can’t take his eyes off of your fragile figure as you leaned on the kitchen counter, slowly walking back to your daughter’s room. He remained unmoving until you exited the kitchen area. It was only after a few minutes that he decided to go, not bothering to wipe away the tears that rolled down his face as he listened to your muffled cries behind the closed door.
Each sob was filled with anguish that Satoru knows he’ll never be able to erase.
—------------------------------------------------------
A few weeks later have passed yet Satoru still doesn’t know what to make of himself. He couldn’t focus on anything that he works on. He couldn’t even workout properly, he always ends up getting angry. It was a good thing that both he and Naomi were swarmed with tasks; they didn’t have time to interact any more than what their jobs would allow. If they did, Satoru isn’t sure if he’ll be able to focus on her. She still has time to visit every week, though. During those days, she spends her time with Satoru and sometimes, Yui.
He makes sure to free his time and himself completely when he’s with his daughter so he can give his full attention to her. Satoru picks her up from your house, same schedule as before. Sometimes it’s you, but other times, it was your mother. “All I asked of you was to never break her, Gojo.” were the first words she spoke to him. Satoru can’t look her in the eyes. Your mother was a kind woman, humble and unjudging. And to have her talking to him like that, Satoru was beyond ashamed.
He couldn’t give her a reason, or an answer. All he did was apologize. Like he should. Naomi was unaware of it all and the proposal that Satoru was planning for her was set aside due to all that had happened. He just doesn’t think it’s the right time to plan about it when his relationship with you is strained. Yes, you’re not together anymore but you’re still the mother of his child and he wants to be civil with you, at least.
Yui kept asking for you even when she was with him as if sensing that her Mama was hurting. She’s always carrying the new doll that you bought for her. Satoru once asked her if you cry and she would simply shake her head. He gets nothing out of it, of course, she’s just a kid. But who else could he ask?
Satoru has no idea what you have been doing. He knows that you go to work, but other than that, he’s clueless about the places you go to and why your mother started babysitting his daughter more during the past few days. Satoru thought that maybe you just can’t stand seeing him anymore and is refusing to face him whenever he picks his daughter up. You have every right and reason to despise him, after all.
So, now he stands on the other side of your door, wondering if he’ll get to see your face this time or be welcomed with the frowning face of your mother. He knocked three times, like he always does, adjusting the collar of his shirt. To his surprise, it wasn’t any of the two women he was expecting holding the door open for him.
“Who are you?” A shirtless man with a muscular build stood before Satoru, a curious yet accusatory gaze scanned him like he was an intruder in his own woman’s home. He leaned on his tattooed arm against the doorframe, blocking the tiny view he has of the inside. It pissed him off, clenching his jaw for a few seconds before speaking.
“Who are you?” Satoru bit back, raising his brows in an attempt to intimidate the guy. He’s only a couple of centimeters taller than the stranger but he’s bigger. It wasn’t a big deal to him until the man opened the door wider. A short, deep chuckle escaped his lips before a smug smirk appeared on his face.
Tilting his head, the man gave Satoru a clear look at the scratches adorning his nape and the purple and maroon marks on his jaw. It made Satoru’s blood boil, unreasonably so.
“Think you know who I am now?”

cursed love
Tumblr media
chapter 2
pairing: suguru geto x fem!reader
word account: 5.2k
synopsis: When Yui returns after a year she finds that everything had changed, Suguru had changed, he had become a complete stranger. Promises were broken, like fragile threads left alone by the weight of disappointment. The darkness had invaded all love, cursing it forever.
Ten years later there was Yui in the hospital, after that idiot Gojo Satoru sent two first-year students on a mission that surpassed them in experience and skill.
“How is Maki-san?” Okkotsu Yuuta asked with that melancholic expression that characterized him, he always seemed as if he wanted to die.
Yui looked at her student and then at his curse, Rika, who hugged him protectively, wary of any threat that could put her loved one's life at risk. Yui smiled sideways, Okkotsu believed that Rika had cursed him when things had gone the other way, but she would not reveal that information, that was his turn as part of his canonical event.
"She's fine, Okkotsu, you don't need to worry." Yui wanted to pet his head, but Rika had her sights on her, and they certainly shouldn't make a spectacle of themselves at the hospital.
Yui raised her head and looked for Gojo, he was in the corner, playing with the water dispenser, looking as careless and childish as always.
“Why don't you get yourself some tea? It'll be good for you." Yui advised him, stabbing imaginary daggers into the stronger's head.
Okkotsu got the message and left his teachers alone.
“Will you ever stop endangering the lives of others?”
“They're fine, plus I was outside the curtain in case something went wrong.” Gojo repeated what he had already told the superiors.
“I know you did it to pressure Okkotsu to use his dominance over Rika.”
“And it worked, didn’t it?”
“That's not the point, Gojo. They are our students, they are under our care, they trust us, we are their role models. You should act like a responsible adult for once.”
Gojo had the feeling that he was talking to a sad version of Suguru, actually he had the theory that Yui had copied Suguru's personality to feel close to him, this in a desperate attempt to fill the emotional gaps that were left in the aftermath after his departure.
And everyone had noticed the big change in Hayashi Yui, she was no longer the sweet naive girl who with a smile or a silly joke brightened the day of others, now she was a cold and composed woman who distanced her emotions from the work environment. In fact, Gojo doubted she had a personal life outside of work. She seemed so alone and unavailable, and Gojo himself had tried countless times to change that, but Yui kept walking away, it was as if she was afraid of being abandoned like Suguru did to her.
“Can you skip the morality talk? It’s boring.” Gojo yawned shamelessly.
“Is that the kind of education that you give to the Zen'in boy?”
Yui knew that Gojo only cared for Fushiguro Megumi for selfish reasons, she was pretty sure he saw him as a replacement for Suguru.
Gojo lowered the blindfold that covered his eyes a little to give her a warning look, he didn't liked the tone she used.
“Don't talk about Megumi.”
“Amazing performance, I almost believe for a minute that you care about someone else besides yourself.” Yui spat out those words with venom.
It wasn't a surprise that Yui held a grudge against him because of Suguru, and Gojo didn't blame her, because he beat himself up every damn day of his miserable existence for not having saved his best friend.
“Please try to keep your personal problems with me separate from work, that's not very professional of you.”
Yui was hesitant to add one more thing, but after a few seconds she regretted it.
“I'll leave now that I know everyone is okay. Call me if any problem arises.”
❪∘∘∘❫
“I don't know if I'll be able to tomorrow, I'll probably have to help with the report and go inspect the primary school.” Yui let out a kind of frustrated groan, since thanks to Gojo's irresponsibility she had to sacrifice her day off.
She entered the apartment and left her coat on the coat rack, listening to the man on the line talk to her about the banalities of his day. When she turned on the lights she got paralyzed. Her ears rang and her lungs filled with cold air. She couldn't believe what her eyes were seeing, for a moment she thought she was hallucinating like in the first months, but after pinching her forearm she verified that what she had in front of her was real, very real.
"I'll call you later." She didn't even wait for a response to end the call.
"Welcome home."
Suguru.
Geto Suguru was there, sitting peacefully on her black leather couch.
He looked older and it was logical. His hair was longer and was no more tied up, it fell over his back like a cloak of a starless night. His facial features were hardened, leaving behind the freshness of coveted youth. He was wearing a golden rakusu with green checkered patterns, and underneath a blue yukata, he looked like a monk.
"What do you want?"
Yui knew that a normal person would react differently to finding her ex-boyfriend in what would be judicially considered a home invasion, however, as far as possible, she decided to take it calmly and seriously.
“I didn't know you smoked.” Suguru took the box of cigarettes he had found and threw it on the ground in a disapproving gesture. “Did Shoko give you her bad habit?”
"Stop talking." Yui whispered, her nails tearing the skin of her palms in an attempt to keep herself mentally composed.
“Aren't you happy to see me?” Suguru put on a rather ironic sad expression.
And that was all to unleash hell.
“Am I a joke to you?” Yui raised her voice, caring very little if her neighbors heard her.
"Why do you say that?"
Suguru was wearing out her patience with each new stupid question.
“How dare you show up here after ten years? Acting like nothing happened.” Yui looked at Suguru like he was crazy.
"I missed you."
Oh no, those words were dangerous, they unearthed feelings that Yui didn't want to deal with again.
Not this time. Yui wouldn't let him get under her skin.
"Liar." She spoke with contempt, a lot of contempt.
Suguru stood up and approached her, daring to wipe the tears from her face.
Damn, was she crying? Since when? Yui didn't recognized the feeling, because she had long since taken that privilege away from herself, the privilege of being vulnerable and sensitive.
And why did Suguru's touch feel so good?
It wasn't reasonable, it wasn't reasonable for her to let herself be touched by the man who destroyed her.
"I'm not lying. I miss you, Yui.” Suguru said with that calm voice that stole so many sighs from her back time. He leaned forward, with clear intentions of kissing her, but Yui was faster and broke the physical contact in time.
“Don't say my name so familiarly, you don't deserve that privilege.” She looked so broken as she cried, and it was all Suguru's fault.
“You're annoyed, I understand.” Suguru tried to sound sympathetic, but managed just the opposite.
"Annoyed?" Yui opened her eyes as wide as an owl. How did he have the nerve to say such nonsense?
She followed her intrusive thought and slapped him.
“I fucking hate you, every part of me hates your fucking self. I hate waking up every day and knowing that you breathes the same air as me. If it were possible to remove from my mind all the memories I have with you, I would do it without thinking about it. And if I could make one wish it would be to never have met you. So I feel more for you than just a simple annoyance, Geto Suguru.”
“Hate is a powerful feeling, it makes me happy to know that you feel that way about me.” Suguru caressed where he had been hit, the area was hot and burned a little, he laughed, admiring his girl's strength.
“Stop that behavior!” Yui screamed, pulling her hair and breathing heavily, she no longer knew what to do or what to feel, everything was becoming confusing and she didn't like that.
“What behavior?”
There was another stupid and unnecessary question.
“I'm furious and it drives me crazy to see you so calm when I'm a fucking mess of emotions!”
"You look flawless to me. "
Suguru took the time to observe the new version of Yui. She no longer had bangs and she didn't keep her hair long either; her current style consisted of a bob cut above her shoulders, not too short. Her fashion sense was also different, the pastel colors and baggy clothes had no longer existed, now she looked elegant and very classy, the dress she was wearing might have looked simple, but you could clearly tell that the fabric was designer.
"I have changed." She said with her chin held high, satisfied with the person she had worked so hard to become.
“I can say it. You look stronger. I’m proud of you.” Once again, he smiled, as if that simple gesture couldn't turn Yui's world upside down.
Screw him, she didn't need his approval.
“I want to kill you.” She admitted without hesitation.
Suguru laughed very loudly, finding what Yui had just said extremely funny.
“And what's stopping you?” He didn't give in to the threat, on the contrary, he only provoked it further, Suguru had never been good at measuring danger, in fact, he was a little addicted to it.
It was only enough to move a few centimeters closer to destroy the sorceress's confidence.
"I don't know." She avoided eye contact.
"Come on, I know that you know." Suguru hummed, mocking her.
He took Yui's chin between his long fingers and forced her to look at him.
“Be honest, tell me what you feel.”
And as if it had enchanted her, Yui's tongue was unleashed to spread information like never before.
“My head tells me to finish you, to rip out your heart and crush it like you did mine. But my body doesn't obey, it's as if it were forbidden to do you any kind of harm. Have you cursed me?” That was the most logical reason Yui had found.
Suguru smiled and tucked her hair behind her ear, his index finger brushing against her earlobe and Yui felt her body burn with desire.
“And what is love but another curse?”
This time it was Yui who smiled, she had missed his deep poetic phrases.
Suguru put a hand on her waist and squeezed her tightly, Yui moaned and tightened her grip on his clothes. Their breathing was labored, the room was warm despite the heater. There was so much tension that it could be cutted with a pair of dull scissors.
“Would you consider me shameless if I admitted that I love having power over you?”
“I hate you… I hate you so much.” Yui buried her head in Suguru's worked pecs.
"I love you." Suguru hugged her and swayed their bodies from side to side.
Instead of feeling overjoyed, she felt fucking sad.
"Why are you doing this? Why are you doing this to me? Why do you come back now that I'm fine? It’s not fair, you don’t have the right to do this to me, you don’t.” She hit his chest without force.
"I wanted to see you." Suguru said it with shocking simplicity.
How could he express himself so easily? Did he not have pride or common sense like the others?
Yui pushed him just a little so she could see his face, she was crying again.
“You're a fucking cynical selfish piece of shit.”
Suguru was surprised, the Yui he knew wouldn't dare to curse so freely.
“You needed this as much as I did. And you’re not okay, you can’t pretend with me, not like you do with that man.” Suguru's voice wouldn't have sounded any different to other people, but to Yui who knew him well, it did, she could detect a ring of apathy and even annoyance.
“How do you know I'm seeing someone else?” She asked with narrowed eyes, wary beforehand.
Had he heard her phone call? No, it was impossible, she had shown no signs of closeness… So how?
“I've been away but I haven't missed anything in your life. I know what you do on a daily basis, the time you go to bed and get up, what you eat at each time, the number of kilometers you run each morning. When you come home from work and take off your shoes to dance to depressing songs from the eighties, and then you go to the kitchen, open your favorite bottle of white wine and spend the whole night drinking, alone and sad.”
Now that Suguru had described her routine out loud Yui realized that it sounded pitiful.
When had she herself become so pitiful?
“Have you been harassing me?” She laughed unamusedly.
“Could it really be considered harassment if the alleged victim was aware all the time?”
He was right.
Yui had always had that feeling of being watched, and now she knew it hadn't been paranoia.
“You knew as well as I did that this would happen, our reunion was written in the pages of destiny. That feeble attempt you are making to forget me will not work, Nanami Kento will never be able to take my place.”
Yui didn't know why she was suddenly upset, if it was because of Suguru's ego or because she was hearing the truth?
“You can refuse, you can push me and expel me from your life forever, you have the power to do so. So do it, tell me that you don't love me, tell me that you don't wake up at midnight screaming my name, tell me that you don't lie when you convince yourself that you're better off without me, tell me that that hurt heart doesn't continue beating just for me.”
"I can't." Yui sobbed, too shocked to think clearly.
"Why? Tell me why." Suguru was pushing her to her limits.
She then decided not to give any more thought and to be honest, to surrender to the arms of spontaneity and throw away the words that corrupted her from within.
“Because my soul still claims yours. The mornings are blue without your laughter in the background, the coffee no longer tastes like anything to me, and this house is just an empty place with nice furniture, it doesn't feel like it's mine and that's because… You are my only home.”
Suguru didn't wait any longer and connected their lips, and like old acquaintances they greeted each other energetically. The kiss was not premeditated and much less perfect, in fact, it had been a complete disaster, a mess of saliva and clicking, but oh… how good it felt. It was similar to the feeling of stepping on fresh sand on a summer day, or when a mother prepared her child's favorite meal, there was no greater reward for two inveterate lovers than the sweet taste of reunion.
“Are you going to leave me again?” Yui had to ask, she had to be sure, and her fear was reflected in the way she squeezed Suguru's wrist, refusing to let go, because she thought that if she stopped touching him at some point he would vanish like fog.
“No, not this time.” Suguru kissed her forehead and they both melted into a healing hug.
That night they met again, and again, and again. They discovered new sensations, smells that evoked forgotten memories, they entered a labyrinth of whispers and caresses, where each touch was a dance full of contained passion. The words had been suspended in the air, eclipsed by the symphony of muffled moans and intertwined sighs. These were two souls entangled in an eternal embrace, where there were no clocks or limits, only the burning and fleeting present that belonged to them in their own right.
Just for that night they forgot everything and everyone. That night it was just them. Suguru and Yui, a normal boy and a normal girl.
❪∘∘∘❫
Yaga, through a warning call, gathered all the sorcerers outside the school without giving an apparent explanation.
Yui was accompanied by Nanami, as well as other sorcerers such as Ino and Mei Mei, including the auxiliary assistants, with Ijichi being the head of these. Yui had always found Ijichi admirable, the way he always went out of his way to be helpful was worthy of respect.
Upon arriving at the place, the seriousness of the situation was understood. In front of them was Geto Suguru along with his henchmen, and the most worrying thing of all was that the first-year students were dangerously exposed and surrounded by them. However, luckily for everyone, Gojo was also there, so the risk gradually decreased, although of course, they should not let their guard down.
Yui internally wondered what Suguru intended to do.
And she got her answer quickly when she saw who he was hugging.
Okkotsu Yuuta.
She gritted her teeth and clenched her fists, that was why he had stayed in her apartment yesterday, that was why he had looked for her, to get information from her about the rookie sorcerer, he wanted to get the Rika curse. In fact, Yui was sure that if she went home now she wouldn't find Okkotsu's file anywhere.
She had been tricked by Suguru, again.
Okkostu showed resistance to Suguru's deceptive tactics, and even though he smiled as if nothing had happened, Yui could see through him, because for a textbook manipulator like Geto Suguru, not gaining mental control over his target was fucking stressful and humiliating.
“And what did you hope to achieve by coming?” Gojo broke silence, asking the question that had those present intrigued.
“I declare war on you.” He said staring at Yui.
The first-grade sorceress felt a chill run down her spine. Wars only brought loss, death and destruction. Did Suguru really want that? Were his ideals so important? Was his grudge against the world of sorcery so important as to cause such a catastrophe?
“Everyone here, open your ears wide and pay attention. Next December 24, at dusk we will celebrate the night parade of the hundred demons. It will be made in the greatest crucibles of Curses: Shinjuku in Tokyo and the mecca of sorcery, Kyoto. We will release a thousand curses in every place. And of course, his orders will be to “massacre.” If you don't want all hell to break loose, then you're going to have to stop us. Let's curse each other freely.” Suguru smiled in the most sinister way.
Suguru, in his desire to exterminate humanity, would achieve the opposite; sorcerers were not exactly an abundant species, and a war between them would bring depopulation and ruin.
Yui knew that would only end one way.
A victory and a defeat.
And she was aware of something, and that was that she would not be a participant in that chaos.
Yui was snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Gojo threaten Suguru not to let him go. Suguru invoked curses all over the place, revealing the difference of power.
Yui feared the worst and touched her necklace, ready to attack at any moment. But the truth is that she would not fight for the school, despite everything, she still felt the instinct to protect Suguru.
She felt like a traitor, and wasn't she?
What would the higher-ups do if they found out about her weakness for Geto Suguru?
Would they condemn her to death too? Would they consider her a threat to the world of wizardry?
"See you on the battlefield."
❪∘∘∘❫
While Yui was looking for the keys in her bag, she thought about the meeting they had had to strategize for December 24. When Yui confessed to Yaga that she had not the slightest interest in participating, he went crazy and even repeated to her on several occasions that he was very disappointed of her. Yui knew that her lack of responsibility as a sorceress would bring her consequences, or some kind of punishment, but she didn't care. She was tired and had no strength to fight, not against Suguru.
And as if she had summoned him, she found him again on her couch.
“Are you getting into the habit of coming into my house whenever you feel like it?” Yui walked to the kitchen and placed the purchases on the table.
“I thought you might be surprised to see me.” Suguru stood up from the furniture and stretched like a cat.
Yui took an apple and joined the raven-haired man in the living room.
“And I thought you already had all the information you needed about Okkotsu Yuuta.” She bit into the fruit of sin and raised an eyebrow as a form of sarcasm at what she had said.
“That wasn't my only goal in coming yesterday.” He even had the nerve to admit it, but Yui saw it better that way, she was tired of games and lies.
They suddenly fell silent, and even though it wasn't an awkward silence, Yui could sense the anxiety in Suguru, he had something on his mind that he was dying to let out.
“Aren't you going to ask me about what I said at school today? Don't you want explanations? Aren’t you curious?”
There was. Apparently, he hadn't changed as much as Yui thought.
The girl took one last bite of the apple and set it aside.
“Suguru, if I've learned anything it's not to overthink when it comes to you. If I try to understand you, I will be trapped in my common sense that tells me what is right and what is not, that way everything would be meaningless because we would never agree.”
“You have matured a lot.” Suguru looked proud, and Yui hated the emotion that came from being admired by that cruel man.
`Yes, and you weren't there to see it,' Yui piled that thought together with the rest of the complaints that she always kept silent about.
“You would never start a war you couldn't win. You have another plan.” And that wasn't even a question, there wasn't even a hint of uncertainty in her tone of voice, Yui was completely sure.
“Any asumptions?” He looked a little too excited for Yui's liking.
“I know that your main target is Okkotsu, or rather, Rika. You want to add it to your collection of curses.”
“You are so smart, what a waste of talent and power.” Suguru sighed, resting his face in his hands.
Yui knew where he was going with that hint, it was clear that Suguru wanted to recruit her into his kind of sect.
"Get to the point. I know you want to tell me your evil plan.” Yui was especially ironic, she was normalizing the matter in her own way, and that caused Suguru a kind of relief, he almost felt... normal.
"I'm going to kill Okkotsu Yuuta to obtain his cursed spirit."
Yui passed saliva down her parched throat. Shit, she had expected Suguru to be direct, but not this much.
“I thought that wasn't possible.” Yui had so many questions. "Explain yourself."
This made her feel like in the old days, Suguru had been a student who stood out for his ingenuity, and Yui, on the other hand, and due to her attention problems, did not grasp most of what they learned at school. So Suguru, every day after school, took the time to explain everything to her in detail, because he knew how to do it, he knew her better than anyone.
“Even though there is a link between them, I can kill the owner and absorb the curse. I know they won't bring Okkotsu into the fight, he's too valuable to put at risk, plus the superiors are afraid of his self-control. Like they did to you, remember?”
“The war is a distraction.” The sorceress came to a conclusion.
"Exactly."
“Do you think you can fool Gojo?”
“For a while, yes.” Suguru had already thought of all the possibilities and probabilities.
“And what makes you believe that I won't betray you and tell everyone about this?"
Suguru just smiled and replied a simple: “You won't.”
And Yui didn't know how to feel.
For a moment she fantasized about calling her uncle and summoning all the high-class sorcerers to inform them of Suguru Geto's location, so they could stop him once and for all and avoid the night of the hundred demons.
But how would Suguru react?
Would he look at her with disappointment?
Would he kill her?
Or maybe he would remind her once again that she was no longer his favorite spring?
"I trust you."
He shouldn't trust her, because she didn't even trust herself.
“Suguru… Why, what happened? When did you become what you are now?”
So many questions that kept her up at night.
Yui thought that Suguru wouldn't take her seriously and would just ignore her to talk about something else, but when she saw his crestfallen head she knew he was thinking about it.
Suguru didn't remember much about that time, and a large part of it was due to the defense mechanism he activated to make everything stop hurting, to not let himself be influenced by his feelings. And Suguru became so good at forgetting that he sometimes feared not knowing how to differentiate what he had experienced and what he had not.
What was reality?
He didn't know.
“After the last mission many things became clearer in my head, I began to see everything in a different way. My conception of the world took a random turn,” Suguru still remembered when all started, after his conversation with Yuki. “And it was not an easy process, I spent weeks without sleeping, without eating, without wanting to get out of bed. I was too lazy to breathe, and when I started to think about how I felt it always made me angry, just thinking that I lived in a corrupt world ruled by those monkeys.” Suguru gritted his teeth, his eyes showing an almost ridiculous contempt for the human race.
“You were depressed.” Yui's gaze softened, everything made sense now.
“If you want to give it a name.” Suguru shrugged, he didn't care about the past anymore. “I know that my measures have not been entirely peaceful, but they are sacrifices that I had to make to achieve a social good, a world without curses. I'm not a bad person."
Yui didn't know if he was saying it to her or to himself.
"I'm sorry." Suddenly, she wanted to cry.
"Why?" It had been a long time since Suguru showed real interest in something or someone, but it wasn't just anyone, it was Hayashi Yui, she was special, she always had been.
“For not being there when you needed me.” Yui wanted to hug him, but she didn't do it.
“It happened because it had to be that way.”
Yui wanted to travel back in time and right her wrongs. If only she had tried harder to channel her power she wouldn't have been away that year, she would have attended the mission too. Perhaps Tengen-sama's vessel would still be alive. Perhaps the one who would have fought with Fushiguro Toji would be Yui instead of Suguru. Maybe now everything would be different.
“Do you think there's still a chance for the two of us?” Suguru asked with a very serious expression.
That had caught Yui off guard, and it's not like she hadn't thought about it before, however, she had never come up with a solution. Was she willing to turn her back on everything she knew for Suguru? Or would she give up the love of her life just to stick to what was right?
"Don't know." That was the most sincere she could be.
Suguru was happy, it wasn't a “no” and that was enough.
“If everything goes well, I would like to invite you to dinner at the temple. I want you to meet my family, especially the twins, I think you would get along with them.”
Yui smiled sadly, for a moment she imagined the same scene, but in another context, a mundane context with mundane people, nothing related to the world of sorcery. And once again Yui found herself wishing she was normal.
“Suguru… be careful.” She whispered when she saw him walking slowly towards the door.
“I always am.”
A deja vu was present in the room.
“Don't worry, I know I will win.”
His ambition would be his downfall.
❪∘∘∘❫
It was the rainy morning of December 25, and Yui had not heard news about the incident nor had she bothered to, and this was because she was afraid of dealing with reality.
Her phone rang and Gojo Satoru's name turned off the screen.
Yui let the phone ring a few more times before answering it.
"Yeah?" She bit her nails as she looked out the window at the water droplets refracting against the glass.
“Suguru is dead.”
Thunder fell in the distance and the drizzle increased.
Yui sighed shakily and had to hold on to the nearest wall to avoid spilling onto the floor, at the moment her legs felt very heavy.
“Did you kill him?”
"I did what I have to do." Gojo responded curtly, choosing the right words so his actions wouldn't seem so serious.
“Did he suffer?” One eye blinked faster than the other.
"No. His last words were: look for me in every spring."
Yui removed the phone from her ear and covered her mouth so Gojo wouldn't hear her sobs. She imagined it perfectly, a bloody and messy Suguru with a sweet smile on his thin lips, eyes would probably be closed or looking at the sky. Suguru loved looking up at the sky, especially if it was sunsets.
And there would be no more sunsets for him.
When she composed herself she returned to the call, because she knew that Gojo was still on the line, waiting for her.
“Gojo Satoru, one day I will be the one to end your life. It is a promise". Yui meant it very seriously, and it wasn't something impulsive in the moment, it was something she felt she should do as a matter of honor and not revenge.
Gojo laughed unamusedly.
“I’ll be looking forward to it.”
He hung up and then... silence.
That day it rained heavily.

“Chins up, kitsune! Leave your confidence at the door, and become one with your fear. For the first time in your lives, you will come to stare death in the face. And, unlike at that rubbish academy you were at for the last four years of your life, this is the real deal.”
You look at the man pacing in front of you, his blonde hair slicked back and eyes covered with a pair of peculiar glasses. He’s wearing the standard grey uniform for the upper ranked kitsune with a spotted tie, which would normally be out of uniform, but he’s the head of communications in the Civic Service Bureau, so it doesn’t matter.
“There’s only one thing separating you from a Leviathan in this world. You there, tell me what it is!” Nanami Kento points to the pink-haired boy beside you and Yuji Itadori gulps.
“Uh… cool haircuts and tattoos?”
You groan internally, wondering how he made it through the four years of training without dropping out. “Incorrect. Y/n, tell me what separates you from a Leviathan in the Civic Service Bureau.”
“Our lifespan.”
“That’s right. On average, a kitsune will live ten to twelve years longer than their headstrong and combative partner, hence why there are more of them than there are of us. But that doesn’t mean be reckless. The entire bureau relies on the intel, insight, and reports you bring back from the field. Now, if you think this isn’t the desk job you were promised, you are free to leave. You were only invited here based on your ability to spy and not be caught. But if you’re ready to serve your nation in the most honorable way, stay here.” Not a single person out of the four of you shifts their movements. “Perfect,” Nanami murmurs, eyeing you all carefully. When his eyes rest on you, you notice the different assessment he gives you. It’s the one thing everyone does the first time you meet:
Is she as good as her parents were?
You’re here not only to answer that question but to exceed it. Your parents raised you for this moment - to take on any task thrown at you, spy as well as they did when they were in the Kitsune. You would do all of that and more, then when it came time for you to settle down, you would marry a fellow Kitsune and live in the Grand Sun District with your peers. The trajectory of your life looks like an arrow, shooting straight for the stars and never coming down until your own star wanes into the night. But by then, there would be a legacy tied to your name, and no one would be able to besmirch your reputation. Ever.
“Alright, you will all be paired with your Leviathan after dinner. Go and freshen up; you have a long night ahead of you.”
“Sir!” You all salute the man with fervor, then you’re ushered to your temporary dressing quarters where you’re instructed to shower until you’re thoroughly cleaned, then to dress in the standard Kitsune uniform - a light grey shirt and grey pants, with a grey jacket. As you stand in the shower and wash, you remember your parents’ words:
“You’re the reason there’s still good in this world. As a Kitsune, you give balance to the chaos of the universe.”
They always made the job seem like a superhero’s task, but you learned much more about the types of jobs you would take on when you went to the academy. But you’d risen to each and every challenge, no matter what, and graduated second in your class, behind Nobara Kugisaki.
As you slide on the pants provided to you, you wonder who they’ll pair you with. In the past, each Leviathan was paired with their equal Kitsune, which meant you would be paired with the second-ranked in the incoming group. But they changed that rule when Gojo Satoru switched from being first in the Kitsune to being first in the Leviathans a year ago, disrupting the entire ranking system. Ranks from the Academy were just a formality now, thanks to him.
“Fall in line!” You toss your jacket on, then join the other three in the main room, coming face to face with Yuki, the head of the Kitsune and Reconnaissance.
“You all look like a spry bunch. But I hate to say that the Leviathans you’ll be paired with are tougher than last year’s group. Excluding Gojo, of course.” You all hold your breath, but she smiles, turning to Nanami. “Dinner should be ready soon.”
_____________________________________________________________
The cafeteria is silent with Yuji, Nobara, Maki, and you eating as quickly as you can, trying your best to scarf down the tasteless meal before introducing your partners. Finally, once you swallow down your water, you stand, grunting.
“Alright, I’m done.”
“Hey, hotshot,” Nobara huffs. “We don’t meet them until they’re ready. And you know how Leviathans are.”
“Slow, lazy, quick to anger,” Yuji groans and Maki nods, shrugging.
You sit back down, tapping your fingers on the table. “Perhaps they could speed it up.”
“Why are you in such a hurry?” Yui wonders innocently, pulling apart his bread roll.
“I want to get to work,” you admit, cracking your knuckles. “I’m itching to sniff out and dismantle some organizations.”
“Just because your parents took down the Motivir Group doesn’t mean you have to live up to their reputation.”
“Doesn’t mean I can slack off, either,” you grumble just as the doors to the cafeteria slide open. Yuki walks through, her brow raised curiously.
“It seems that they’re ready. Are you all set?”
The walk to the auditorium seems longer than it actually is as you pass by endless barracks, one of which would end up being where you stay in an adjoining room to your Leviathan. As your shoes clang on the metal rafters connecting the barracks to the main building, your heart beats feverishly in your chest. Of course, your Leviathan will be impressed that you’re the daughter of two prominent Kitsune, but would they expect you to--
“Watch your step.” You descend the staircase to the lobby of the auditorium and wait patiently for the doors to open. When they do, they reveal the hundreds of waiting Civic Service Bureau members, including the head of communication (Nanami Kento), head of surveillance (Mei Mei), head of foreign affairs (Yuta Okkotsu), Gojo Satoru, and of course, head of the Leviathans, Toji Fushiguro.
He sits in front of his group on the right side of the stage, elbows on his knees as he watches you all parade to the left side where the other Kitsune are seated. A scowl is painted on his face as he eyes each of you, and the Leviathans behind him look equally as bored, whispering to each other and snickering. You analyze the group, taking in their all-black attire and various haircuts, piercings, and tattoos.
When you look over to the Kitsune, they all look polished - hair slicked back, arms and legs free of any visible markings, and light grey attire. The only piercing you see among the crowd of your peers is in the ears, and even those are easily hidden. It wasn’t that you all were prudes or traditional, but to blend in, you had to be a blank slate, mentally and physically; adult tabula rasa.
“Is this thing on?” Toji groans, tapping the microphone just handed to him. You take your seat as he begins to speak, grumbling his words without enthusiasm. “Right. As you all know, today is the day when our newest members are paired with their partners and sent off on initial missions for an assessment of compatibility, blah, blah, blah. I’m going to skip the bullshit and get straight to the fun part.” Yuki mutters a string of curses as she gets up and snatches the mic from him, pushing her partner off to the side.
“Apologies, you all. We do have to read the pledge of the Civic Service Bureau before we continue.” You all stand, tapping two fingers to space between your brow and then to your heart, where they rest as you chant:
“I pledge allegiance to the Civic Service Bureau and to keeping the nation safe with authority, strength, and boldness.” The words echo in the auditorium, and then you all retake your seats.
“And now, a memorial to our fallen Kitsune and Leviathans.” The lights dim as the hologrammed faces of various Leviathans appear above the crowd. In addition to the many faces, there are two outlined in gold: Kitsune.
“Did you hear about the Leviathan that got his Kitsune killed while on a mission last year?” Maki whispers to Yuji, and you frown, turning in your seat.
“Huh?”
“Yeah,” Yuji answers. “I heard the Leviathan didn’t execute the raid properly, and the Kitsune was murdered by--”
“Shh!” Nobara hisses, turning back to watch the faces fade into the light, and the lights come back up as Yuki brings the mic back up to her lips.
“Alright, now I’ll pass it back to Toji so he can… do his job.” Yuki glares at the man and passes him the mic as he grins at her lazily.
“Thanks, Yuki. Such a riveting presentation. Let me start off by saying this year’s Leviathans have the grit and determination that moved even the Grand Council.” The Leviathans roar in response to this admission, acknowledging the head members of the Civic Service Bureau, who were conveniently not present. “Now, at the head of this year’s class, we have my own son, Megumi Fushiguro.” The black-haired, green-eyed man comes up to the stage, forgoing anything other than a blank look as Toji clasps his arm in solidarity. “He will be partnered with Nobara Kugisaki, as directed by the Grand Council.” Everyone claps as they should.
Nobara and Megumi shake hands, then move to the back of the stage to stand together.
“Next, we have Noritoshi Kamo,” Another blank-faced black-haired man. “And he will be paired with…” You anticipate your name being called second, thinking maybe they’ve reinstated the rank pairs rule. “Maki Zen’in.” You watch her walk up to Noritoshi and shake his hand, then join Nobara and Toji’s son. “Next, Choso Kamo and Yuji Itadori.” The two men forgo the traditional handshake and instead perform their own special handshake, no doubt practiced for this very moment. You look up to the elder Fushiguro, wondering who in the world was left for the daughter of heroes.
“This year, as we mourn the tragic loss of first-year Kitsune Yu Haibara, the Grand Council has moved to reassign his Leviathan in a show of forgiveness. So, for the second time - and for the first time in history - Geto Suguru will be paired with Y/n, as directed by special order from the Grand Council.” You don’t move from your seat as the massive man walks up to the stage, his black eyes roaming the crowd for his partner - you.
“Go,” Yuki urges you, but you can’t move.
There has to be a mistake.
“Y/n, please come up to the stage….” Toji rumbles. “Before I lose my patience.”
No. There’s something wrong.
“Get up there.” Yuki grabs your arm and lifts you out of your seat, pushing you toward the stage unceremoniously. When you finally stand in front of Geto Suguru, you look into his eyes and see… nothing. He stares at you, his silver nose ring shining in the lights, just like his long, black hair. But you don’t even shake his hand, opting to walk to the back and stand there, dumbfounded with crossed arms. Geto joins you, looking equally as miffed.
“Okay, great. So, that’s over, and now I can take a nap. Go have some light desserts, talk, get to know each other, and then go to your barracks.” Once everyone files out, you follow, searching for Gojo and Nanami. When you find them conversing at the chocolate fountain, you interrupt their conversation, temper flaring.
“Who chose that failure to be my partner?” you growl, pointing your finger at the man who lingers by himself at the back of the room, arms crossed over his chest as he observes the others.
“Whoa,” Gojo holds up his hands, taking a step back. “That’s a Grand Council question.”
“Partners can't be reassigned except in extreme circumstances,” Nanami reminds you. “This seems like an extreme circumstance, y/n.”
“He let his Kitsune get killed!” you yell, catching the attention of a few others nearby. “If you think my parents will allow this to--”
“Your parents are still under the directives of the Grand Council,” Yuki mentions, walking up to you. “They can’t get you reassigned even if they tried.”
“We’ll see about that,” you hiss, striding out of the lobby and to your assigned barrack before closing yourself off.
