finished up this batch of expressions for sea-monster silverclaw (and one featuring lenore the squishy gf), experimenting with different painterly and half-painterly styles along the way.
the tentacle mane, although very time consuming to draw, works very nicely to convey emotion and expressions.
More from the apocalypse AU, this time a glimpse into the past before the world ended, two thieves meet up for a coffee date after an unsuccessful heist where they met each other.
Silverclaw (Silverhoof) and Lenore as alicorn princesses because why the heck not, my pal was giving them pony versions so i just thought i'd continue with the trend and upgrade them into alicorns. (the infection mlp videos and shorts going around these days are just too inspiring and fun to ignore)
ponies are cool, never thought I'd draw more of them after I haven't for over a decade but hey, you're never too old for ponies, right?
the first doodle is just more shenanigans between two enemies that eventually end up with an adoptive-father-daughter dynamic.
and the second is: when you meet your even more evil counterpart in another timeline and he's beating you to a pulp because only one can exist so your original enemy just decides to be silly to save your hide.
no one was aware silverclaw could do that until that point, she just declared it was spooky time.
a snippet of a full reference of silver in the apocalyptic AU, will have more for her prostethics as well as a mutated, demonic form that i'm working on!
that one time that silverclaw accidentally started (or rather took over) a cult.
the first thing she did was to change the dress code. everybody gets to have sexy cultist outfits.
more AU stuff, this is the post-apocalyptic mutant-raptor version of phoenix. just a fucked up bird and silver loves it. (the background is on fire because where silver goes, a flaming inferno is just inevitable)
a 7ft tall, slasher villain bearing a mask and hooks and a trigger-happy pyromaniac thief with a penchant for explosions in the apocalypse, well, at least the world can't get any more messed up… right?
tried some ink-esque style with this one, i can say i'm pretty pleased with how it turned out, it's nice to try out something new once in a while, will probably produce more of those in the future.
another piece that i've almost abandoned as it was almost complete, so it might appear a bit dated as i started drawing this a few months back and left it be for quite some time.
the dramatic moment where silverclaw (or jacquelyn, seeing as she's yet to have her namesake) lost her arm during the sea leviathan's attack, a pivotal moment in her backstory - more drawings of the beast and its design will be revealed soon, too, i'm in the process of finalizing its design.
I've been working on this on and off for a while but finally I've got a cover for the story/roleplay me and my friend are co-writing together, featuring the main and secondary characters as well as the mysterious villain and Silverclaw's beloved Devil on the background.
All in all, really proud of how it turned out, hopefully at some point it could serve as a title to what I assume will become a fully fledged webcomic at some point in the future.
just more doodles of the disaster girl, just a new attire for a new nonsense chapter in her story, she's now 'the blue devil' in addition to her many aliases.
on a side-tangent it's fun to give silverclaw long floofy hair but it also makes me fear that she'll start to be too reminiscent of vriska, i swear to god-
Despite originally being a fan-character for the Fable universe (which I've created in early 2010s), I haven't really drawn much of Alphaess in her actual setting in a long while, thought it would be really fun to embrace that once again after so long - here she is, the red haired heroine of Knothole Glade along with 'Fluffy', everyone's favourite balverine/cursed brother.
Might end up revamping Alphaess yet again to fit back with the theme and reconvert her into a fandom OC, we'll see how things progress for her I suppose.
alright this one i've finished like 99% of and just gave up drawing for months - started way back in mid november, if it seems a little old, that's why
an evil pirate empress showing off her beloved beasties, phoenix just keeps growing so large also.
Been designing more of Silverclaw's family and this handsome devil is a somewhat distant relative (half-second cousin i believe?)
His name is Edgar Grey and his twin sister is also in the works. he's a charlatan and gambler, which is surprising to no one.
goofy big sea monster wants to give her squishy little sea monster wife a present (a half eaten shark) and it's adorable, silverclaw's sea monster just acts like a lovesick puppy around lenore's.
