Great question my hosnest answer would probably be still dead under a house. Since in my mind the way this works is the letter gets mis sent to Boq. Boq takes fiyero with him since it’s his only friend and Nessa would probably stay behind for studies. Elphaba ends up having to take care of her, and Glinda gose of to become captain of the guard (all be it mostly working with defense with her bubbles but could still hold in a fight)

My thoughts are Boq gose back to either say “we need to break up” or “hey could I stay I’m being hunted” to Nessa. And Elphaba is like I’m gonna go find Glinda since I love her; WwoTE happens same thing essentially just Nessa wants to remove her heart so she no longer loves Glinda. Boq fucks up as usual and she ends up copper!

(Fiyero runs off with Boq because fuck this place leaving Glinda behind and she is like I’m gonna kill that witch for taking my comphet.)

I’m currently looking at things to get from Amazon (I hate Amazon but someone gave me a gift card and if I don’t spend it it’s wasted money and I’m not wasting money) and I did math to get 6 books for 40€, but when I got the the point of ordering them since I’m not in the USA it’s along the lines of 70€-80€ instead.

Like any doll loving wicked fan I look at dolls

1 - That Animals don’t have magical powers since magic shows up as the ability to speak while humans(?) Ozians get powers.

Ozians (humans(?)) get magical powers; but what if Animals get the ability to speak and with Oz having less magic and talking is being discouraged, they lose magic.

And with all the magic being lose (due to it being token By the wizard I’ll get to that later) there starts to be a view that talking animals are taking away that magic from other for something as simple as talking.

2 - the reason the wizard drinks so much of the green elixir is to hope to get magic powers.

Like he doesn’t have magic, and I am pretty sure at this point the reason is less magical is because of the green elixir. So like what if the wizard is attempting to get powers by drinking the green elixir. But it’s not working and he’s slowly getting addicted to it regardless.

Idk man I’m a loser teen with a special interest in Oz.

I sometimes think about the concept of the Wizard instead of oppressing animals he oppresses magic. (ik it’s basically canon at least in my mind that the green elixir is just liquid magic that one can consume i have a lot of theories about this )

But what if he oppressed magic more, like how would that work out? Like he would imprison people with magic and saying it’s dangerous? Or would he only do it to people he that don’t obey him? And keeping everyone that complies as assistants or military forces. Would he force the prisoners to do magic for him?

I have a lot of ideas

What would happen to Glinda? She would be in good standing, but how would that affect her knowing that one slip up she would be deemed dangerous for being herself. would she be more pushed to join Elphaba?

I drew my Oc Fabric!!

She was originally known as Apolline before her memory loss, and later names herself Basil since Fabric doesn’t cut it as a name. She is also Aroace (non mentioned by label since the labels don’t exist where she is, but is definitely Aroace if she knew the label.)

Anyway I have a full story about her I’ll probably post it on ao3 when I finish editing!
