anyways i think it's even crazier that people are STILL trying to police this fandom. Pretentious ass ideas in a fandom that was built off of shitty stories we all know and admit fucking suck.

I've been here for as long as I can remember and forgive me if I'm wrong but I'm PRETTY sure we JUST had a renaissance of sorts surrounding "Cringe Culture is Dead". General hcs

For Eyeless Jack to be able to eat, the people in his faction have to sacrifice food to him.

He’s literally possessed by some kind of god/demon entity, therefore, he can only eat offerings.

I feel like this can also extend to the things he owns.

He can only own the things he is offered, and because of that, when he got possessed, he had to leave everything behind.

He used to have one of those instax cameras and got a bunch of little photos during his college days.

They’re some of the only possessions he wishes he could get back.

If there’s no one else to watch anime with, Nina drags in Jack to watch it with her.

She doesn’t really like being alone all that much, so she’ll seek attention from anyone that’ll give it to her.

One of the last times she got left alone ended with her working here, so…

It’s not a good idea to leave her alone.

She regrets it every single day.

Jeff eventually comes around to not leaving the room every time Nina walks in.

This is mostly because he realized she doesn’t really care all that much about him now.

He ends up becoming somewhat of an older brother towards her.

He can’t really dote on her all that much due to the fact that Nina is in a faction with Jane and he still isn’t really on friendly terms with her, mostly because he doesn’t really know how to apologize yet.

Research and information

Janes wife isnt technically an official part of the faction, but she still lives with them all, so.

They are the least violent of the factions, given they’re not actually out in the field.

For the most part anyways.

They’re simply supposed to look for things like recent appearances, social media profiles, private documents, etc.

Of course, Nina, essentially being a teenager raised on the internet, had almost no problem adapting to her new job.

Her new life, on the other hand, is a whole different story.

This isn’t really something that anyone expects, really.

And being a teenager on top of it all, doesn’t make it any easier.

But that’s where Jane and the others step in.

They’ve been through a lot and they’ve been able to cope as best they can with the resources they’ve been given for far longer than Nina has.

And with that, it makes it easier to help her along the way.

It wasn’t like she asked for any of this to happen.

To be at the lowest point of her life like that, at this age, at this point in time.

It was a nightmare at first.

But with her new family, it was getting better and better with each passing day.

Tending to their garden is definitely a bonding experience for all of them.

And movie nights, they like to place them all I to different themes and genres, with different themes pajamas and snacks.

There’s never a dull moment with them.

And they like to make sure of that.

They’re definitely more open with each other, communicate as best they can.

After all, they’re going to be working there for a long time.

Might as well make the most of it.

Faction hcs

Stealth and information

This is one of the most normal factions, seeing as they’re all still pretty human.

Apart for a few traits such as: inhuman strength, being weirdly fast and weirdly silent.

But that’s besides the point.

The first time Tim and Brian met Toby was…an event, for sure.

Tim was a bit put off by the fact that Toby sort of looked like him.

After all the shit he went through, he kind of reminded Tim of himself.

The way Toby held himself, his slightly off putting demeanor, the way he shied away from any kind of attention.

He was just as skittish as him was when he was younger.

And that made him feel somewhat…responsible for him.

He knew that Toby could hold out on his own, but he also knew that he didn’t have to, not if he didn’t want to, anyways.

Brian on the other hand.

He had absolutely no fucking clue what was going on.

This had to be a joke right?

I mean, this was a teenager, a human teenager, what the fuck was he doing here?

It was strange and he felt scared for the boy, but he still barely managed to wrap his head around the crazy amount of bullshit that was going on.

How do you get so desperate for help at that age? That’s how you get to this place, how can he get this desperate?

It made his chest tighten up for the first time in a while, it was unfamiliar and welcomed.

But that wasn’t going to help them, at all, so he moved on as best he could, and guided him to his new home.

One where he’d be properly taken care of.

It had taken a lot of work to get Toby comfortable in his new surroundings, but soon enough they found a way to kick off an established routine.

Tim and Brian are technically the closest thing to family Toby has, and he wouldn’t give them up for anything.

On Factions

So, factions, I’ve talked about them before but I’ve only really explained the concept.

I have a few preconceived ideas of which characters could blend in with each other.

Before that, I’d like to clarify that if you are interested in requesting a specific faction that hasn’t been mentioned.

For example, three different creepypastas that I’ve already divided into different factions.

You can request hcs of a faction you’ve “designed” on your own.

I hope that makes sense.

General Hcs

I just realized there were somethings I haven’t expanded upon as much as I’d like.

So here’s the thing, while everyone else is working for the operator, sally isn’t, she’s just the ghost of a lonely girl who needs company.

The only reason the operator doesn’t make her work is:

The operators tricks and torture don’t really work on her. They fall null and void.

She didn’t really come in asking for a job.

You see, the operator doesn’t make people work for him, he just finds people at their worst and takes advantage of the situation.

Sally just showed up one day, and everyone else just went with it.

It wasn’t even close to the weirdest thing they’ve seen, after all.

Also, the groups/factions tend to have a closer dynamic because they all join at their worst.

It’s like this shared suffering.

They can all relate to being at their worst and being taken advantage of.

I realized I never really explained why they seemed to be so close.

HCs for Nina and Jane spending time together?

Nina and Jane

A lot of what they do is disclosed in their hcs but I’ll try my best.

Normally, they just talk about missions and Nina asks for help in bettering techniques and things like that.

She just wants to get better.

I mean, it’s her job and, given the fact that she’s pretty young, it’s probably her first job too.

Which can be pretty scary, due to the fact that it can literally be her undoing, most of the time, anyways.

If one little thing goes wrong, she could get shot, stabbed, arrested, etc.

Mercenary work is often like that, though.

So yeah, that’s mostly what they do.

But it’s not always like that.

They also talk about regular, day-to-day things.

Jane still wants to feel like she has a normal family, a normal daughter.

And that seems to help a lot.

Puppeteer headcanons?

Puppeteer hcs

He can be pretty level headed.

I feel like a broken record saying that, but I really do feel like they are all very calm and collected people.

It pretty much comes with the job description.

It’s important to a job like this to be able to always have a calm composure, performing well under pressure.

Things like that.

He can be very cold as well.

If you aren’t in his faction, of course.

I feel like that can also fit with a lot of other characters.

Factions are supposed to work like families.

They’re made to be umbreakable, it makes the workers less likely to want to go back to their homes, their real families.

It also makes them less likely to act out.

Since Jonathan never really connected with anyone outside of work, his faction is, as expected, very close.

He likes to have a small collection of handmade puppets his faction has made for him in a little chair in his room.

He very much holds them near and dear to his heart and he will throw down with whoever thinks its funny to get their grubby hands on any of them.

I feel like Jonathan very much likes that he can have a small little family that cares for him, so he tries his best to accommodate each and every person in his faction.

Headcanons for Nina babysitting Sally?

Oh, it’s the best.

For them, at least, to some others, it could just be a pain in the ass.

If they’re in their general vicinity anyways.

But that’s neither here, nor there.

Nina will most likely just put in a really dumb movie for the 90’s or something at a really high volume and piss off whoever thought it was a good idea to be at the house at this hour.

There have been times where she tried to cook sally some Mac & cheese and she ended up burning the bowl it was in and exploding the microwave.

Not so fun times.

I 100% believe that Nina does try to get sally to watch shows like Tokyo Mew Mew and sailor moon.

They really like watching it together.

In conclusion: Nina is a great big sister/babysitter to sally.

Nurse Ann hcs

She’s kind of an asshole.

She acts like she cares for people, or maybe even comes off as sympathetic when she doesn’t actually care for anybody.

In fact, she hates every thing she crosses paths with.

She’s 5’7.

Taking in to account the former statement, she doesn’t have a group or faction.

It wouldn’t end well.

She probably doesn’t get that many jobs, as she doesn’t really care to follow instructions of any kind.

Probably got fired after a while.

Now she just kinda strolls around a former hospital she used to work in.

Bloody Painter headcanons?

He likes to keep to himself, just like he used to do before he started in his current work.

It’s just a force of habit by now, really.

He’s another one if the taller workers.

6’3, don’t ask why.

He doesn’t exclusively pint with blood, but I think that’s a given by now.

The process is excruciatingly long and he doesn’t really like to wait that long to paint.

Since he’s kinda used to more liquid-y mediums, his favorite is watercolor.

He has a whole ass sketchbook that he uses to sketch the other worked that sometimes come by.

He’s a web, I don’t take constructive criticism with this.

It’s just the truth.

His favorite anime is actually soul eater, mostly because of the art style and the characters design.

He doesn’t like the anime’s ending, though.

Helen loves sleep, his dreams are one of the best inspirations.

He has a lot of weird dreams.

But he doesn’t mind them, as long as they’re not memories.

His cottage is kinda messy, but it’s seen worse days.

He finds it somewhat hard to take care of it and himself, he doesn’t always clean up after himself.

It’s a big struggle.

There are paint supplies everywhere, and brushes strewn all over the floor.

He has a calico cat called pudding.

She once scared the shit out of Helen when she drank out of a paint cup.

He almost had a heart attack and ended up moving all the paint stuff in to his studio.

He gets scared really easily and he doesn’t really appreciate it when Liu starts putting on his little f*cking scary movies and start cackling like a stupid hyena.

It gets on his nerves sometimes.

But he gets over it pretty quickly.

Homicidal Liu hcs

Some of the younger workers like to call him “homiecidal”.

He lets them.

Liu and Jeff’s situation is somewhat tense.

Jeff didn’t really mean to kill his brother, I think he was just scared, but in the end, Liu still got hurt.

And now they really don’t know where to start off.

Both of them want to try and go back to being close brothers.

But it’s difficult.

Liu understands though.

He always has.

I head canon a LOT of the characters here as somewhat level-headed or down to earth and Liu can fit in there.

Not completely.

He lives in the same cottage as Helen.

I think they would be very good friends.

I’m not even that sure why.

He also loves pudding and he likes to make sure she’s always fed and happy.

He also likes to help around the house by tidying up and cleaning after Helen.

He really does get worried if Helen stays in his room or studio for a bit too long.

He’s around 5’8.

I feel like his favorite movie would be something along the lines of either “splice” or “Killer Klowns from outer space”.

You know, kinda dumb or just not scary horror movies.

He thinks they’re hilarious.

I headcanon that while Sally knows the other creeps kill people she doesn't know that they kill INNOCENT people. She thinks the others only kill bad people like her uncle. She rationalizes it this way: if they're so nice to her they can't be bad people...right?
