Does anyone have any good Wincest fic recommendations (and what season these fics take place in)? I've recently started Supernatural for the first time and I am not going to make it 15 seasons without any fanfiction, but I'm scared of giving myself spoilers 😂 I'm currently only at the end of season 1, so I'd LOVE any post or during season 1 fics, but if there's other good ones that take place in later seasons I'll gladly take those recs too to file away for later! This show is just so fun and I already love these two and their dynamic, and I can't wait to dive into all the awesome fics I'm sure are out there! Thanks! 💙

It was 2:27 when Gil's phone rang, which, on its own, was alarming. Phone calls in the dead of night didn't typically lead to anything good.

But as he grabbed his phone from its place on his nightstand, squinting at the screen with bleary eyes, that feeling of alarm only grew.

Because it was Malcolm. (Not that he was too surprised, Malcolm was one of the few people whose phone calls would always, always ring).

I just finished Prodigal Son, and it was really good, but, devestating cliffhanger ending (and show cancellation) aside can I just say that Michael Sheen had absolutely NO right being THAT attractive as a serial killer.

Like seriously look at this man-

Absolutely disrespectful for him to look this good after having killed 23 people.

Like for real. I know we all though Dr. Capshaw was absurdly dumb for romancing this man, but like...look at him 😂

But in all seriousness Michael absolutely killed being Martin. I was already super impressed with him from Good Omens, but this really showed just how versatile he is. Absolutely love him. So disappointed that the show got cancelled.

It was fantastic, the emotions were GREAT, but holy shit is this about to fuck me up for a while 😭

Because I have absolutely no self control when it comes to my newest obsessions, I made a dumb little Hannigram edit and thought I'd share it here!

Hot Take - As someone who just watched Hannibal for the first time (and adored every second of it), I don't actually want a season 4. Why?

Because of the implications of the fall.

All throughout the show, the romantic tension between Hannibal and Will is obviously palpable. But, due to the circumstances of their relationship, the power dynamics and manipulation is so incredibly toxic. When I was thinking about a possible ending for the show, my mind immediately went to a fight between them, where one (presumably Hannibal based on track record) ends up killing the other. Because I didn't see an ending where they could fully accept the good and REALLY bad parts of one another to finally put the past behind them and embrace their love.

Say Will didn't make that jump. Or say they ran off together as proposed in S2.

Will would always feel guilty for allowing Hannibal to hurt others, even though being with him makes him feel more alive then ever. And Hannibal wouldn't change the dark parts of himself for Will, and would always fight for Will embrace his own darker tendencies, even if it would push the man he loved away.

I don't see any way that they could have resolved their conflicts and found a solution where both were satisfied. This would mean either one of them would have to die, leaving a "winner" and "loser," which would be disappointing to the audience, or, they both would need to die. And even then, both dying would need to be done carefully, because it could still lead to a clear winner/loser situation. (Ex: the original script for the ending where Will lunges towards Hannibal and shoves him off the cliff, falling with him. That frames Will as a clear winner, finally defeating Hannibal, which is MUCH different than what we got). I think that Will, making the sacrifice to die with Hannibal, is the perfect ending. Neither wins, neither loses. Neither lays down their principles for the sake of the other, they just finally truly SEE one another, and die in the first true peaceful (and incredibly intimate) embrace that they have shared.

It's a very poetic and bittersweet ending to a dark and twisted show, and I feel like that's perfect.

Yes, I know technically they were to live through the fall would there have been a S4. Yes, it would be very fun to see them be murder husbands and explore their new relationship.

But no, I don't think it's worth possibly ruining what may be the best ending in TV history.

I've recently played Man of Medan and I cannot expression how disappointed I am that there isn't more fanfic/fanart for Fliss and Conrad. They're my favorite characters in this game and they're an adorable couple. I just think they deserve more love!

~Throws more appreciation at Christian Slater, this time for Mark Hunter in Pump Up the Volume because this man has captured my heart ~

I've been slowly watching a bunch of his movies, but so far, Pump Up the Volume is my favorite (followed closely by Murder in the First). People always talk about how great he was in Heathers, which, admittedly, he was, but I enjoyed his performance as Mark far more than his performance as J.D.

It's just awesome to see how easily he goes from this -

-over and over again, all while still making it believeable that this is the same character! This versatility is what I adored about him in Mr. Robot, and I absolutely adore seeing it here.

That feeling when you FINALLY get that mind-consuming burst of motivation to write a fic after months in a lull, but it hits you right when you have a ridiculous amount of other important adulting things to do 😫

I know I'm VERY late to the Mr. Robot fandom, but can we just take a minute to appreciate Christian Slater as Mr. Robot?

He's able to pull off such an incredible range of emotions throughout the course of the show, making Mr. Robot, a character who could be easy to hate, endearing and loveable. By nature, Mr. Robot as a character is turbulant and violent, which could make him difficult to love, but the way Christian played him is too ridiculously charismatic to truly hate, and it's made clear through his interactions with Elliot that he has good intentions for him at heart (after all he is the protector).

But in all seriousness, watching this show for a third time has reminded me how incredibly talented Christian is, and I'm so, so glad he was able to bring Mr. Robot to life. I genuinely can't imagine anyone else doing Mr. Robot justice.

Just finished ASOUE for the first time and it was SUPER good, but I gotta talk about the way these two and their freaking adorable friendship have viciously grabbed onto my heart. Like I was rooting for them to be besties from episode one but the fact that the show actually made it happen?!? Thank you!

Fernald's a big softie at heart and it's obvious that Sunny kicks up those big brother/protector instincts in him, and it's just absolutely precious. Also it's so freaking adorable that he only calls her "baby," like does he not know her name or just choose not to use it lmao 😂 Either way it's adorable and I fully believed and was whole heartedly invested in this friendship between a grown ass man and a baby, so...show, you did something right! 😂 Thank you for coming to my rant 😂
