It is important to make friendships that are deeper than gossiping and fooling around. Make friends who will never desert you. Who will stick around whether it is time of happiness or sorrow. Make friends who you can cry with. Make friends who support your life goals and believe in you.

People around me believe that I’m a kind of person who is detached and far removed the ordinary wheel that we call life. Harsh as it might sound but it is the general opinion. Single in thought, single in action, single for life. That’s how people think of me. People think that I’m a hermit, loner.

Yes, I am quiet. Far quieter than my classmate who suddenly goes rattling about love life and crushes whenever the opportunity arises. Because I think that talking is only done when necessary, but this does not imply that I am inclined toward being lonely, no.

I’m not indifferent as what I might appear to others. It’s just that I am more likely to show my enthusiasm towards those things that are more important in my perspective.

I’m not inclined towards groups not because I find groups as a total breach of my comfort zone but because I think that self-cultivation comes first and working with other people is not as vital as doing something by one self. This however does not necessarily mean that I am incapable of group –effort.

It’s just that, I am kind of person that is more inclined towards imperative more than any other inclination. I speak based on imperative, think based on the imperative and act based on the imperative. I am not single, I am just an individual who value critical things over others.

Dream - Motivational Video

Everything begins within you. If you have a dream, believe that it is possible. As William A. Ward once said, “If you can imagine it, you can achieve it. If you can dream it, you can become it”. Fight in what you believe in and hold on to your dream because you never know, it could happen to you. If you have dream, plan it because your dream won’t just happen. You need to work hard daily and progressively in the direction of achieving your dream. Success cannot be achieve in a blink of an a eye. It requires patience and perseverance. Of course, the ride in achieving your dream will not be a smooth sailing; it would be a rocky one. There will be a lot of obstacles that you will encounter along the way and a fair share of criticism as well. That sometime you might want to give up and just want to accept defeat but always keep in mind that “I can do this, even if one no see it for me, I’ve must see it for myself.”

Think big and think positively. Don’t let the negative thinking discourage you. If you have a dream, strive for it, don’t let it grow cold. Life is too short to let it go.

Sometimes we don’t go somewhere else because we are looking for another person. We tend to go somewhere else because we are looking for another self. It isn’t so much that we want to leave the person we are with as we want to leave the person we have become.

Reality is something that we need to accept, but it is one thing that all of us keeps on denying. Because in reality, everything that you ever dreamed of or for every wishes you want to come true but would never happened. That we rather choose to be in a world we created in our mind, where we can do anything freely and have everything we want. Have the life we always wanted but in the end of the day we need to wake up and face the reality because we can’t live in a dream forever.

Freedom? Obligation? These are just words but their meaning; their value is not something we should simply discard as rubbish ideals.

I hope I never get tired of listening to the birds chirping, of smelling the ocean breeze, of looking up the night sky. I hope I will never grow to be someone who cannot appreciate small beautiful things.

Why do leaves fall? Is it in their nature? Leaves can fall anywhere at any time but it is not because it is their nature to fall. They are only bound to fall because there is something that it is bound to follow and that is, as physics taught us, the law of gravitation. The same goes with love. Veracity implies that love, though it may be defined as a profoundly tender, passionate  affection for another person, still remains as a condition nonetheless.

I have kept myself in silence for a very long time, but the more I hide under my nutshell, the more I am afraid to be touched by the rays of realities, the more I realized that life is too short to let my fears hold me back from reaching my dreams and to live life full of regrets.

Underneath

Life is never fair,

Cause darkness is always my pair.

All these pain I can no longer bear,

Yet nobody seems to care.

Been hiding my emotion,

My smile is just an illusion.

This feeling of isolation,

But I’m left with no option.

The agony of never knowing,

Of what will happen in the end.

Is life worth fighting?

Or in with darkness I’ll blend.

Hi I’m Lorraine! I’m 17 years old from the Philippines.

The reason why I made this blog is because I want to try something new.  I want to explore new things and I want to challenge myself by making my own blog. I know starting a blog is not easy especially to me since I’m not really good in writing stuffs and whatsoever but I know can do this! So yeah.
