Fall Transitions
It’s time everyone.
It’s pumpkin spice and apple cider season. It’s autumn leaves and chilly weather. It’s time for Fall outfits!
Below is a list I came up with of what are some essential pieces to transition your Summer wardrobe into your Fall wardrobe. And be sure to check out my insta handle @ alexandria_foxy for more Fall outfits!
1: Sweater Vests
Honestly, I’m in love with sweater vests. They’re so perfect to slip over top of your basic summer tee-shirts to add some layers to your outfit! Especially for cooler days!
2: Combat Boots
Combat boots are one of my favorite accessories for Fall. You can pair with just about anything. From summery dresses to skinny jeans. They make a great transition piece for your closet into Fall weather.
3: Basic Long Sleeve Shirts
I have a collection of long sleeve shirts, and they’re great to wear underneath a summer dress, or under your rocker tee. It’s a fantastic layering piece, to keep you looking hella cute and feeling hella warm!
4: Oversized Blazers
I’m a lover of blazers. Especially, oversized blazers! Throw it over your summer skirt and bright bandeau top to look instantly ready for a Fall Dinner Date. Or sport it with some Mom jeans and a tee shirt, for that casual-cool weekend vibes.
5: PLAID
I’m a DIE-HARD PLAID FAN. I have a ton of plaid. From shirts, to pants. You name it, I got it. Plaid is a perfect to getting into the pumpkin spice feeling. Throw a plaid shirt over your summer crop-top. Or sport a plaid skirt with knee-high socks and sweatshirt.
The possibilities are ENDLESS!
Happy September everyone!
More soon,
Love,
Alex

Beauty Loves and Leaves
Good morninng gorgeous! Here’s a review of ALL the makeup products I’ve purchased this July. These are all my non-sponsored opinions on all of these beauty products! I hope y’all enjoy!
~Leave~ 1. The Jeffree Star/Morphe Palette. It's such a shame, I really liked this palette. I enjoyed the formulas, I loved the pigments, but to only find out that Jeffree Star is a racist, I'm sorry sis, we ain't for that shit!
~ Love ~ 1. I am one of those insanely pale people. And I needed some help with that, by fluke I purchased the HauteBronze Tan Towel. I couldn't believe how great it came out! You had to wait about 4 hours or so to see some results, but honestly it came out so much better than I could've imagined! It's buildable coverage too! Go as light or dark as you please. Click to purchase here
~Leave~    2: Now one of my very few HATES of e.l.f.  I purchased the Eyeliner Pen in Black, it's not an expensive product so expectations are low. But honestly, I was really sad how the liner DOESN'T work on top of eyeshadows. It usually just attracts to the pen, leaving you a dull and mudgy grey. Not a vibe.
~ Love ~    2: This is another e.l.f. product, that SHOOK me. It's the Perfect Finish HD Powder, and it's one of my favorite setting powders of all time. It's also not very expensive, but it is AMAZING. It blurs out all of my undereye fine lines, and imperfections. It helps your makeup STAY IN PLACE, no matter the heat, or heavy lighting. Honestly, it's a must. Click to purchase here
~Leave~ 3: I made my first MILK makeup purchase recently. It was the the Holographic Stick Highlighter in the color Mars. I'm an avid lover of highlighters. And I was expected it this highlighter to be BLINDING. However, it wasn't. It's a cream base, so it's best applied on your fingers, then blend it out with a sponge. It kinda gives that dewy, fresh-off-the-beach kinda feels. But I'm certainly more of POP-n-POW type of highlighter.
~ Love ~ 3: My last and final love is the Laura Mercier Caviar Volume Panoramic Mascara. The packaging is crisp, the formula is fantastic, and results are unbelievable. I'm not someone who wears fake lashes, because I utterly suck at putting them on. But with this mascara, you feel like you have that LUSH and FULL look. It's great for everyday wear, or for a night out on the town. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Click here to purchase!
Much love,
Alex

How to SAVE CASH
My family and friends wouldn't hestitate to say that I enjoy spending money. I'm the first one to suggest shopping sprees, dining out, and heading to theaters for the lastest movie. However, recently, I realized I needed to be responsible with my money than I actually was. Saving money seemed daunting for me. It would be too complicated, too stressful, and overall meant I'd have to forfeit my guilty pleasures. It was a definite NO for me. But, when I started going over my accounts, I began to cut unnecessary bills, and indulgents. The extra money I was saving, I began setting it aside in my savings account. Below is a list of things I did, that might help you towards having some more money in your wallet!
1: Dine IN
I love restaurants. I love enjoying a meal out by myself or with family. And before the lockdown, I didn't realize how much I actually spend on dining out until then. I would eat out for lunch for work almost on a daily basis. Every Wednesday, I'd take my mom out to lunch or dinner. Sometimes both, to be perfectly honest. And that's normal for America. On average, Americans eat out about 4-5 times a week. An average restaurant meal is $12.75. That means that Americans spend $2,500 to $3,000 a  year on eating out. That also doesn't include drinks, taxes or tipping your server appriorately.
I started a Pinterest account, pinning my favorite recipes. I started making more salads, eating more vegetables and trying different spices. I started eating more green, cutting out greasy foods, and heavy meals. Not only did my body start feeling better, my acne vanished, my energy levels became higher. My bank account also appreciated the change, saving $200+ a month!
2: Phone BILLS, BILLS, BILLS
Cellphones are a major part of our 21st lifestyle. But with that, also coming INSANELY high bills. The average American phone bill is around $70 dollars a month per individual in 2018 by JD Power. Depending the company that you're with, data isn't usually unlimited either. If you exceed a certaing GB of data, you're switched to a slower system or face extra charges on your bill.
I decided I was exhausted of paying so much in phone bills. I decided I made a switch to StraightTalk. It's a No-Contract company, you can purchase phones from them, or you can bring your own phone. They provide different service plans, depending on what you need. Their highest service plan is only $60, working on Verizon, AT&T and Sprint networks. It provides you with the most cell coverage, the fastest network at the cheapest rates. You can easily save $10 to $95 dollars a month on your cellphone bill. Link to check it out.
3: FabFitFun Subscription
I'm a dedicated shopper. ESPECIALLY when it comes to makeup, skincare, and such. I spend UTTERLY too much in Sephora whenever I go in there. I swear, I make Sephora's daily budget when I go in there! And I'm not the only one. American women spend $313 on average every month on beauty and makeup. Some of that is, of course, neccessary makeup supplies we use daily. Another part of it is impulse purchases. I don't know HOW MANY TIMES I've walked into Ulta to purchase a $40 foundation, only to leave with new brush sets, the trendy moisturizer, and fancy highlighters.
I decided to curb some of my excessive spending by subscribing to FabFitFun. Packed full of great skincare products, homewares, latest beauty brands, versatile clothing and so much more. All products are FULL-SIZE items, unlike other subscription boxes. It's a quartly subscription box, meaning you receive a box four times a year.
You can pay either a seasonal fee of $49.99, or an annual fee of $179. You take a personalized test initially, so that each box is designed just for you. You can customize certain goodies to go inside your box. Every box is worth at least $200+.
My recent summer box retailed for $310. I got moisturizers, vases, pillowcases, eye makeup and so much more! And I paid only 15% of the cost!
4: FREE Hobbies
One of the reasons I spend a lot, is I love to cruise around stores and malls. I'd pop into TJ Maxx just for fun, only to leave with a $200 dollar bill of goodies I didn't really need. Buying can become an activity, as well as an addiction. I was spending money for the sake of spending it. So, to curb it,  I made a vow to myself to pick up other hobbies besides shopping. All these hobbies I started were free. I had tons of art supplies that I had from when I was a teenager, so I started making art. I also have a large book collection, and I began to reread some classical favorites! I took up tennis, a sport I hadn't done in FOREVER. And I've kept it up, saving at least $100+ a month on impulse purchases!
I hope I helped! Message me to let me know what works for you to save money!
Much love,
Alex xx

4th of July is CANCELLED
Fourth of July is usually this massive celebration of being a proud American. We gather around backyard barbeques, and parks to celebrate our freedoms and independence. Ending the sunburnt day with colorful fireworks.
But Fourth of July 2020 isn't our usual holiday. Our country is utterly divided, a constant battle of public health order versus constituitional rights. The vigorous fight of anti-racism versus racism.
There isn't anything that makes me feel like a proud American. Honestly, 2020 has showcased how behind America is, globally.
We having to battle with ignornant people, ignornant states and ignornant goverment officals about the urguence of mandated masks. The importance of not gathering in large groups. The risks our country face if we don't upkeep self-quarantining and basic sanitization practices.
That isn't the major point of my anger and angust towards America. It's the crippling racism our fellow Americans face on a regular basis, on a regular day. The constant battery African-American men, women and children have to handle from the police officers.
Our police shoot and murder young African-American men, with no remorse. Press conference after press conference is issued with the regular statement of "We were following procedure."
Murdering innocent people that were only living their lives. Breonna Taylor was simply sleeping in her own home. Elijah McClain was merely walking home from the conveinant store. George Floyd died for an ALLEGED $20 dollar bill.
Racism is so prevently in this country, we should change our our national anthem lyric of "Land of the Free" to "Land of the Free, unless you aren't a Cis White Male"
In solidarity with Black Lives Matter, I'll be donating money to these causes I've linked below. I'll be signing petitions to help the BLM Movement. I will be wearing solid black, to show my disdain of the actions of America.
I encourage all of my friends, family and followers to do that same. Stand up, and stand against the rhedoric that's been put before us.
Change doesn't happen, unless we force the change to happen. To stand up for Justice and Peace. I refuse to be like our previous generation, who turned a blind eye to the active racism. We won't stop, until this country and this world is great for all.

Taking care of YOUR SKIN for the LONG TERM
Summer is here!
And what better way to celebrate than to go for a hike, or have a quiant little picnic in the park!
However with summer, comes great responsibility.
There are many misconceptions about summertime and skincare. Should I lay in the blistering sun to heal my raging acne? Is full coverage foundation bad for my skin? Do I REALLY need skincare at all?
In all of these myths, we lose one of our biggest saviors for our skin during these sunny days; Sunscreen.
Sunscreen is CRUCIAL to your skincare.
It’s one of those overlooked products that most of us eyeroll when we hear about it. Like how critical could it actually be?
If you suffer with uneven skin textures, or tones, sunscreen is a GREAT start to clear it up. It helps prevent sun damage, a major culprit in complexion textures and uneven tones.
Sunscreen HELPS prevent the developement of skin cancer, namely melanoma. The risks are high in women, especially women in their 20s-30s.
Constant skin damage can lead to pre-mature aging. Causing fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots. Aging is a part of life, but we don’t wanna FAST-TRACK IT. The best way to limit sun damage is (you guessed it) SUNSCREEN.
Now that we’ve settled the importance of wearing sunscreen, which one is best?
Never fear! Below are some of my personal favorites to try!
Coola Mineral Face Organic Matte Finish Sunscreen Lotion
Tumblr media
It has buriti oil, which helps dry and cracked skin. It’s also been shown that buriti oil heals scars, and burns. This sunscreen has extract of prickly pear which prevents fine lines and wrinkles. While also keeping your skin super soft.
It’s a light sunscreen, which I love. However, it’s not the best if you want to pair it with your daily foundation. It’s $36 for 50mL,which is seems like a lot for a simple sunscreen, but a little goes a long way with this product!
La-Roche Posay Antheilos Mineral Tinted Sunscreen SPF50
Tumblr media
This is an amazing daily sunscreen that’s slightly tinted that works with a variety of skintones and complexions. This sunscreen is designed to be paired with your daily foundation, while leaving your skin dewy beneath it.
It’s $33.50 for 50mL bottle. Click here to purchase
WELL,
I hope you guys enjoyed! Send me some of your favorite sunscreens suggestions too!
I’d love to hear it!
Much love,
Alexandria

Sleep Wellness
I’ve always kind of struggled with sleep. It comes and goes, sometimes I crash hard and won’t wake up for hours. Other times, I can’t fall asleep at all, and when I do it’s for merely two or three hours. To say the least, it’s a constant struggle and battle.
And, I’ve certainly tried many things in order to straighten out my sleep patterns. From evening baths, to staying away from electric devices after 9pm. Nothing has worked. That was waaaaay before my recent discovery.
Due to Covid-19, I haven’t been shopping in stores, so I decided to subscribe to my recent addiction, FabFitFun. It’s a quarterly box shipped to your house, customized to you, specifically. In order to customize it, they ask a million questions. Most notably, how do you sleep? I checked the obvious box, terribly.
So, in my Spring Box, I received a sleep lotion. Okay, I said to myself, whatever. I read the bottle, THISWORKS DEEP SLEEP BODY COCOON. Without a doubt, skeptism grew. However, what’s the harm in trying?
That night, I took a warm bath. Opened up the bottle, inhaling I could smell the chamomile and lavender. I hadn’t ever had a lotion that smelt that rich. So, I went lotion CRAZY. Put it on my legs, chest and arms. The rich scent was immediately relaxing. My airways opened up, completely. My tense muscles started to ease up.
I laid in bed, feeling as though I had been to a spa. It was so pleasant. I dozed off to sleep in minutes, awaking before 9Am. And waking up that morning, I felt something I haven’t felt in a while. Refreshed.
My point is, if you are someone that hasn’t gotten regular sleep, have issues resting fully or fall too deep of sleep only to wake up groggy. This is certainly the product to try!
It retails for $40 on their website, with free delivery. It’s 100ml in one bottle.

Punk Revival
I certainly think without a clear doubt that punk is coming back. The plaids, the grunge and the grit. It’s certainly quite obvious with recent trends in egirls and eboys. It’s a revival with twist, as with any revival. And with playful sites like Dolls Kill and MissGuided, it’s helping tremendously. So, in honor of my early punk inspos of Kurt Cobain and Ska punk Gwen Stefani, I’ve added my own twist. That any girl or guy can have the ‘E’ quality, even if it’s lowkey. Like me.
Tumblr media
In today’s demo, I’m wearing Zara leggings and top. Plaid pants are always a staple in my wardrobe, I don’t think I’ve ever had a time when it wasn’t. The shirt is very Kim-Possible-esque with the turtleneck and short sleeve. I link pictures below haha.
I kept my jewelry down. I certainly wasn’t vibing on a ton of accessories to be honest. The mask was handmade by a friend.

Good afternoon, Quarantine  Fam!
It’s been awhile, I know. However, I’ve had to go back to work at my (REAL) job and haven’t had enough time to take pictures and be able to post. However, I’m back! I hope everyone is having a wonderful Easter weekend with their families during these times. It’s nothing quite like being home, being grateful for what we have.
Today WAS particularly fun.
I hadn’t worn this dress before, it was a steal I found at H&M on clearance for $2 which was a definite must-have. It’s made of jersey material, so it works in casual or dressier occasions. Obviously, I retained to a more dressier vibe.
The boots are also a clearance find, that I bought at Francesca’s. They’re a staple in my closet for sure. I usually adorn tan boots, and these have a nice thick wood heel adding a nice textured feel to the entire look.
To add more of a defining waist, I used one of my J. Crew leather belts. And for a tad of color, I have a fun hair crown I got at Claire’s.

Hello Quarantine Fam!
I’ve been lowkey lately, staying at home and tryna stay away from people. I hope that y’all have been doing the same. I will say that I’m very fortunate to be in New Mexico, since the GOV has been very pro-active during this weary times. Also, I’m so very blessed to be able to stay home, as many can’t or are risking their lives for us (Doctors, Emergency care workers, Grocers, Gas and so many more)
Today, I found the ambition to put on JEANS. I know, I’m quite surprised as all of you are! Haha, and not only did I put on jeans, the ENTIRE outfit is denim. I went on a full on DENIM-DAZE which I ain’t mad at!
So I started with these cute dark washed, distressed Levi’s I had. They’re insanely comfortable, which is a major plus for me. A lot of companies can lack that stretch that I DEFINITELY need.
Now, with DENIM-ON-DENIM-ON-DENIM I always keep a rule of mixing the colors of denim. So I had a dark washed jean paired with a lighter snap corset. I scored it during a sale at Guess pre-Corona days.
It’s so versatile as well, like it’s a perfect piece on it’s own, but honestly pair it with a dress or a bright printed shirt, and it still slays.
My jacket is ALSO a sale piece from Gap. It’s a bleached denim with a faint floral print (of course) bleached with it. It has a more tailored look to an otherwise basic style.
Obviously, I had to curve some color, henceforth the shoes. These are absolutely a favorite of mine! It’s  Tommy Hifiger ked style sneaker. These are so comfortable, so versatile and definitely me. I love them!

I’m a major VERSACE fan. And we all take a minute to enjoy the beauty of these boots? In love with that baby blue color, thick rubber soles, with a classic buckle across the top. I mean....KILL.ME.NOW.
That’s gorgeous.

Good afternoon, Quarantine FAM!
Hope everyone is rested and feelung fantastic! I know I do, I slept for 90% of the day of yesterday and did a hike around my neighborhood in the evening. HOWEVER, I’m back on my bullsh!t again.
I felt like a casual cool type of day. This is a vintage style dress that I found in a thrift store for like $5. But it wasn’t the price that sold me, it was the unique color and negative space style of the print that got me. I’m a major RED fan. I have EVERYTHING in red. From jackets to shoes, to jewlery to ALBUMS (Shout out to Taylor Swift for the blessing of RED)
But I hadn’t ever seen a pale blue and red combo. For me, it was odd and different, and quite a versatile piece. Pair it with some leggings and a turtle neck and you can wear it in winter, or pair it with some sneakers and you’re off to play tennis. Which is kinda what I did here.
I paired it with a beloved pair of Ralph Lauren sneakers to add some contrast to the brightness of the dress. To downplay the casual vibes, I placed a red blazer I got from Gap.
I’m wearing a locally made concho belt around my waist, for some Southwestern flair. I also am wearing a inlayed turquoise cuff bracelet and a choker necklace (I believe the necklace is a repeat from my previous post, it’s my favorite no doubt)
