I also made an edit of my (dad’s) dog, Bear. I call it “The Creation of Doggo.”
Please keep in mind, “The Creation of Adam” is a painting by Michelangelo, not me. My dad took the picture of the dog, and I just edited it (with PicsArt).

I can’t draw, so I did my best real life version of this conversion/quote by @pocket-luv101.
(Thank you to my mother for the picture of me in a ditch. Thank you to my father for letting me use his text conversation. The first picture is my mother holding my cat, Mr. Dusty Cat in my fedora. I’ll post more about him and his brother Sleepy Ash of Sloth (two Servamp references) later. Also, this was edited with PicsArt.)

I used to write fanfiction (not posted anywhere thankfully), but I still read tons of it! I have a lot of ideas as well, but they’ll likely never see the light of day. If anyone need ideas or inspiration (or a beta reader) feel free to message me!

Hey, I forgot to do this during pride month, so here’s the finished products! All the flags are on my Instagram and TikTok. Even though pride month is over, the fight for LGBT+ rights is not. Keep being proud and keep fighting!

Hello, I likely will not be posting the rest of Pride Month (except maybe the end) because Tumblr is an irritating site. I’ve lost a lot of time and progress because there’s no way to save and edit drafts easily and effectively. There also seems to be no one seeing (or caring about) these posts, so there’s little point in going through the trouble. I will still be posting on my Instagram and TikTok though.

Today’s flag is for lithosexuals!
Lithosexuality or akoisexuality is when a person may experience sexual attraction but does not want it reciprocated. Reciprocation could cause discomfort or complete lose of sexual feelings. Because of some etymology, lithosexual could potentially be interpreted as being related to lesbian culture, but there hasn’t been a consensus about the term in the ace or lesbian community. Lithosexual and akoisexual are currently used interchangeably.
Materials used:
* Crafter’s Collection 18 pc paint pots ($1.99 at Hobby Lobby)
* The Fine Touch 8 x 10 Canvas 2 pack ($2.99 at Hobby Lobby)
* Red, orange, yellow, white, and black Art-I-San Tempera Paint ($2.49 per bottle + tax, 40% off = $7.99 at Hobby Lobby)
* Paint brushes (had for years), pencil (Dixon Ticonderoga #2), eraser, straight edge (tissue box), exacto knife, painters tape, paper towels, cup, tap water

Today’s flag is for fraysexuals!
Tumblr media
Fraysexuality or ignotasexual is when someone only experiences sexual attraction towards those that they are not deeply connected with, and lose that attraction as they get to know the person. Fraysexual is often described as being 'the opposite of Demisexual'. The blue and cyan stripes represent strangers. White represents lacking sexual attraction, and gray symbolizes confusion about sexual attraction.
Materials used:
* Crafter’s Collection 18 pc paint pots ($1.99 at Hobby Lobby)
* The Fine Touch 8 x 10 Canvas 2 pack ($2.99 at Hobby Lobby)
* Blue, green, magenta, white, and black Art-I-San Tempera Paint ($2.49 per bottle + tax, 40% off = $7.99 at Hobby Lobby)

Today’s flag is for asexuals!
Tumblr media
This flag was created in 2010, inspired by the Asexual Visibility and Education Network logo, to represent people on the asexual (ace) spectrum (and asexuality as its own identity). There are many identities on the spectrum (several of which will be covered in the following days), and they can range from complete disgust at any form of sexual act forever to typically being allosexual (experiencing sexual attraction, opposite of asexual) with rare “spikes” of asexuality. Asexuality can be an umbrella term or its own identity. Aces experience little or no sexual attraction. This does not necessarily mean that they cannot experience romantic attraction or have intercourse. It also differs from abstinence and celibacy because it is the lack of sexual attraction instead of choosing not to engage in intercourse.
Materials used:
* Crafter’s Collection 18 pc paint pots ($1.99 at Hobby Lobby)
* The Fine Touch 8 x 10 Canvas 2 pack ($2.99 at Hobby Lobby)
* Purple, white, and black Art-I-San Tempera Paint ($2.49 per bottle + tax, 40% off = $4.80 at Hobby Lobby)

From what I’ve seen, Pride flags seem to have the flag of the sexual orientation in the background with a heart of the romantic orientation in the foreground. I’ve also seen some flags that have the gender in the background instead of the sexual orientation. Here are some examples:

Gray Asexual Lesbain

Today’s flag is the homoromantic flag!
Tumblr media
Homoromantic is only one type of romantic orientation, the romantic orientation counterpart to homosexuality. From what I understand, any sexual orientation can be translated into a romantic orientation. Some examples are asexual and aromantic, homosexual and homoromantic, bisexual and biromantic, etc. From what I understand, the only difference between romantic and sexual orientations is the type of attraction. There are many different types of attraction, but sexual attraction is a desire to become sexually intimate with the object of desire (for lack of better terminology), and romantic attraction is a desire for a romantic relationship with the object of desire. A person’s sexual orientation does not necessarily determine their romantic orientation. For example, someone could be bisexual and aromantic, heterosexual and panromantic, asexual and heteroromantic, etc.

* Crafter’s Collection 18 pc paint pots ($1.99 at Hobby Lobby)
* The Fine Touch 8 x 10 Canvas 2 pack ($2.99 at Hobby Lobby)

Today’s flag is omnisexual!
Tumblr media
Omnisexuality is attraction to all genders without being gender-blind. In my case, it’s a preference towards masculinity (maybe androgyny). I like to say it’s pan with a preference. Speaking of pansexual, these terms are often seen as the same, but they aren’t. Pansexuals are gender-blind (no preference), and omnisexual are not (preference).
Materials used:
* Crafter’s Collection 18 pc paint pots ($1.99 at Hobby Lobby)
* The Fine Touch 8 x 10 Canvas 2 pack ($2.99 at Hobby Lobby)
* Blue, purple, Magenta, white, and black Art-I-San Tempera Paint ($2.49 per bottle + tax, 40% off = $7.99 at Hobby Lobby)
* Paint brushes (had for years), pencil (Dixon Ticonderoga #2), straight edge (tissue box), exacto knife, painters tape, paper towels, cup, tap water

Today’s flags are the polysexual and pansexual flags! Since we discussed bisexuality yesterday, I thought I’d bring up two orientations brought up. They also have similar colors. (Omnisexual will be tomorrow since that’s how I identify.)
Polysexuality (plysexual/polisexual) is the sexual attraction to more than two, but not all, genders. It focuses more on attraction to masculinity/femininity than gender. This is separate from polyamory. This flag was made by Samlin (@fuckyeahpolysexuality) on Tumblr in 2012. The colors symbolize attraction to women (pink), non-binary people (green), and men (blue).
Tumblr media
Pansexuality is attraction regardless of gender, referred to gender-blindness. (This also means that pansexuals are attracted to all genders.) This flag, made in 2010, has stripes that also represent attraction to women (pink), non-binary people (yellow), and men (blue). The flag can also have the pansexual symbol (predating the flag that represents women and men with the tail’s Venus (♀) cross and Mars (♂) arrow).

Today’s flag is the bisexual flag!
Tumblr media
Bisexuality is an umbrella term that encompasses attraction to people of multiple genders. It can also be used as a label.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These diagrams are good representations. Think about it in math terms (or skip this). Every square is a rectangle, but not every rectangle is a square because every square meets the criteria of a rectangle, but not every rectangle has four equal sides. In the same way, all pan/poly/omnisexuals are bisexual because they all like more than one gender, but not all bisexuals are pan/poly/omnisexual because they may not be attracted to all genders or care about gender. (This is a simplified explanation, so I’m obviously not including every sexual orientation.)
Tumblr media
Also, contrary to popular belief, bisexuality is not necessarily a 50/50 split between attraction to males/females. As noted previously, bisexuality can include attraction to more than two genders. Also, that attraction is not necessarily divided evenly. To use myself (omnisexual) as an example, I’m usually more attracted to masculinity* verses femininity. (The gender of the person does not matter greatly to me.) I don’t have exact percentages, but it’s not even.
*While thinking about this, I realized it might be more of an attraction to androgyny, but that’s a mental debate for later.
Materials used:
* Crafter’s Collection 18 pc paint pots ($1.99 at Hobby Lobby)
* The Fine Touch 8 x 10 Canvas 2 pack ($2.99 at Hobby Lobby)
* Blue, purple, magenta, and white Art-I-San Tempera Paint ($2.49 per bottle + tax, 40% off = $6.39 at Hobby Lobby)
* Paint brushes (had for years), pencil (Dixon Ticonderoga #2), eraser, straight edge (tissue box), painters tape, paper towels, cup, tap water

There are a variety of other flags as well. The first one was made in 2018 by @apersnicketylemon and won a two-part survey to determine the most popular out of those put forward by the lesbian community. Others were included in the survey. The second is a simple flag created by @smile-charlie meaning femininity (light purple), gender non-conformity (purple), and love/romance (dark purple). The third is a common Tumblr flag by @anurtransy which means loyalty/trust (dark blue), freedom to love women (light blue), trans/nb lesbians (light purple), serenity (purple), and pride/love for oneself (dark purple). The fourth was made by tumblr user @numonous, and the stripes have dual meanings: freedom/lesbians of colour (dark blue), diversity/non-cis lesbian (light blue), hope/disabled lesbian (green), energy/neurodivergent lesbians (yellow), passion/aromantic/asexual spectrum Lesbians (red). The fifth is a combination of the lipstick and orange lesbian flags. These are not all of them, but they’re the only ones I’ve come across so far.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There is also a flag for all women or women-aligned people attracted to other women or women-aligned people. Sapphic (feminine counterpart to achillean) is a unifying label synonymous with woman loving woman (WLW), LBPQ (Lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, Queer), and difemina. The pink stripes symbolize love, and the violet was historically given between woman to symbolize their sapphic love.

Today’s flag is the new, most commonly used lesbian flag! The orange is for butch lesbians, pink is for femmes, and white is for trans and nonbinary lesbians.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
There is no official lesbian flag, but the most popular ones are the lipstick (with or without the lipstick mark), labrys, and (for lack of a better term) orange flags. The lipstick and labrys flags have some controversy behind them. Many feel that the lipstick flag is not fully representative, and the creator of the flag was found to have made bigoted comments against Bi, Trans, Butch and Asian women on her blog. The labrys flag is controversial because it uses reclaimitory nazi imagery (the black triangle which marked "asocial" people, including homosexual women, nonconformists, sex workers, nomads, Romani, and others), it’s popular with TERFs (transphobic radical feminists), and it was created by a man (Sean Campbell in 1999), as opposed to a lesbian.

These are some other flags I’ve seen. They’re titled Black Gay Pride Flag, Gay Pride Wedding Flag, Pink Triangle Pride, and Pride Homosexual Rainbow Flag (Large 1 and 2). I don’t know the history of the first two, but pink triangle flag identified homosexual males in concentration camps during the Holocaust. The interlocking gender symbols (⚢ (male), ⚣ (female) first appeared in the 1970s.

Hello, for Pride month this year, I’ve decided to paint two canvases full of flags. Unfortunately, I was woefully unprepared, and paint takes a while to dry... Therefore, I will be posting a lot of information at once. Once this week is over, I should have a somewhat-daily post, and most are shorter than the first. (I also have BLM content in the works, but I want to fact-check and get sources. It’ll mainly be compilations of information.)

The first day’s flag is the progress pride flag. Daniel Quasar created this design to include the colors of the Philadelphia people of color inclusive and transgender flag.
