For simplicity, I will refer to these ancients as the ancient of [insert planet of our solar system that falls under their domain] ex: Ancient of Jupiter

For years, the Ancient of Mars has harbored resentment against the people of Earth for throwing their little machines all over her precious planet. They take parts of it back- for study, they say! Why, There’s even rumors of those little pests moving there! How dare they!

And they just keep coming.

She complains to the Ancient of Earth, but again and again they disturb her perfect planet.

One day she snaps.

She descends upon Earth.

The Justice League is scrambling- they had no time to prepare for such a large threat. Unless they stop her, she will transform Earth into an unrecognizable planet- a planet like Mars, which cannot sustain all of Earth’s life.

Unless they stop her, it will be a massacre that they may not recover from.

So they have to stop her.

They go to fight.

They have gotten ready the best they can. They have found where she is. They go forth to fight for their home and everything in it-

She’s thrown in front of them, battered and bruised, shaking and trembling. They ready themselves as she tries to get up, but a flash of green obscures their vision.

The light clears, they dare to look up.

Bright, green glow. White, floating hair. Shimmering black and white clothes that hold the stars.

And his eyes.

Wild and angry, so full of raw emotion it exudes from him in waves.

This man, too ethereal to be real, glowing, holds the Ancient of Mars by her throat.

Exactly a year after Talia brought Damian to Bruce, she shows up again. With another child. That looks like a carbon copy of Damian. She introduces him as Danyal, Damian's twin that was in an undercover mission for the last few years.

Bruce's eye twitches, but he deals with it. At least it's not a clone - Damian proved his mother's words to be true, Danyal really is his twin brother. So the Bats are just kind of forced to accept the fact. And the kid.

Danyal is a literal fucking menace. Contrary to Damian, he doesn't stab or bite, but he is absolutely chaotic. And, in addition to that, he has zero self-preservation instincts. None of it. The only two people in the family he has a truce with are Cass and Steph. Cass, because he has yet to take her by surprise, and Steph, because she is his partner in crime. Tim, though, Tim is on the verge of going insane with two little assassin bats running around the manor.

A year later, on the anniversary of Damian and Danyal's arrival, Talia shows up again. With, you guessed it, another kid. This one is a bit older - sixteen or so - and he has an angry glare that can be compared only to Jason's on a warpath. Dante, he calls himself, and the Demon Twins narrow their eyes on him. Bruce knows this look intimately. Sibling rivalry at its finest.

The next year is full of said sibling rivalry, performed by three highly skilled assassins. Dick is constantly worried one day one of them will die, and not because of a Rogue attack. The kids are fucking wild, acting like rabid dogs on steroids. They destroyed a wall once by throwing Dante through it. Alfred gave them a lecture. It didn't help.

The next year, Bruce opens the door to Talia even before she rings the doorbell. He looks at the four-year-old girl that looks like a mirror image of Damian, Danyal and Dante, and asks, tired and defeated:

"How many more?"

Talia only smiles. The girl looks at him with big, innocent puppy eyes that don't fool Bruce anymore.

Tim, who watches the scene through the surveillance cameras in the Batcave, pulls up a file and starts drafting his last will.

Anyway, thinking about how Bruce’s mom tendencies bleed over around the League.

He pulls out a Barbie pink scrunchie from his endless utility belt.

Oliver is very sure he’s seen it in Spoiler’s blonde mane before. He wordlessly secures Diana’s hair in a ponytail before she jumps into battle.

Barry skins his knee while running, which, considering, is pretty severe. Definitely not the kind of wound you can treat with Gray Ghost bandages.

“I’m NEVER taking this off.”

“Okay, gross?”

“Shut up, Hal, you don’t even wash your suit, you just make a new one every time!”

“I’m allergic to laundry detergent, everybody knows that, BARRY.”

Bruce does not tolerate their fighting for more than 15 minutes at a time. “I will count to 3.”

Hal is quite literally flabbergasted when, after a particularly rough mission, Batman walks over to him and gently places a plate of fruits before him.

“Hal,” in that rain soft voice. “Fruit.”

“…Thanks?”

He just walks off. Like it’s nothing.

“…Did he just do something nice for me? Everybody saw that, right? You’re all witnesses. “

Everyone’s equal parts shocked and equal parts losing their shit. Clark’s eyes are just slightly red.

“I need to take a nap.”

The Infinite Realms has declared war on Earth. The JL and JLD are scrambling. They just found out about the GIW and the Anti-Ecto acts- and while they don’t agree with them, the beings of the Infinite Realms are still attacking their home, so until negotiations can be reached they have to defend.

Batman is pissed.

A branch of the government was attacking, detaining, and even experimenting on the residents of the IR, doing so under a hidden law.

They haven’t been able to communicate with their King for negotiations.

-His- People are in danger.

There’s been disappearances: the siblings Jazmine, Daniel, Dani, and Dan Fenton, then Samantha Manson and Tucker Foley.

They all come from Amity Park, Illinois.

Batman is pissed.

But he is the world’s greatest detective.

And he will get to the bottom of this.

Basic DC soulmate AU. Everybody has a soulmate mark. Pretty simple.

Enter Danny.

Now, he’s from another dimension. Came here for work, funsies, or by accident. The choice is yours. He doesn’t have a soulmate mark because he’s from another dimension.

Everybody around him is very confused and worried for him because that boy doesn’t have a soulmate mark! Everybody has a soulmate mark! What does this mean?

He’s out here trying to convince them everything is fine without giving away the fact that he’s from another dimension cause he doesn’t want to risk the hero community finding out about him.

Unfortunately, the bats and birds of Gotham are very curious people. And what’s more thought-provoking than the first person in their universe to not have a soulmate mark?

The Bats pursue.

Shenanigans ensue.

Bonus Points if somebody Danny cares about is in danger and he goes full eldritch.

Bonus Bonus Points if Danny’s eldritch body is covered/surrounded by runes, words, shapes, and the sort.

Bonus Bonus Bonus Points If the biggest shape on his body is a soulmate mark.

BONUS BONUS BONUS BONUS POINTS If his soulmate mark is the same as the person he’s protecting.

I think this is a great setup for a Danny x DC character plot.
