today, on the feast of the transfiguration, i am reminded of our transgender siblings in Christ. i am reminded of Jesus exposing his divinity, showing himself as he truly is, just as trans christians expose the glory and beauty of their gender through transition. i am reminded how transformation-- transfiguration-- is a holy act, practiced both by trans christians and Christ alike. i am reminded that they are God's children, beloved just like Jesus, His son, and I am awed

Crossposting to here since I think I want to start putting some of my personal art on here as it is my personal blog. No pressure to read just my graphic diary. I hope someone else can relate, being in college and still having experiences like this is rather wild and diabolical, certainly not something I was expecting of being around adults.

This whole situation is actually the reason Shiloh came about and split off from Thomas and I, it was to deal with this. Spirituality is his weapon of peace against knotted tangled situations. I feel like in queer communities it is super common to double cross each other but then have the outward appearance of being righteous because you used inclusive and/or therapy language the entire time. Life gets messy.

Wounds: jumpscare.

Another personal piece today, huge yikes! /nbh, this isn't a vague, just a memory piece inspired by Radiohead's Black Star. Luckily I'm much happier now. I might start posting personal art with this style, even some system stuff. It'll be much more positive!

Happy pride y'all! I don't do personal art a lot but I wanted to make a pride art since I deserve to be seen and legitimized :) Yap below>>

I have been coming to terms with my gender identity recently, and it's been difficult to embrace that I actually am intersex and that it has contributed to my conception of my gender. Through experiencing dysphoria at 13, going hyperfem, identifying as a lesbian and then butchgender, coming out and being forced back into the closet at 16, suspecting my DSD at 19, losing my ftm affinity group, and partially detransitioning at 20 even to myself, I am still here. I am finally freeing myself from the confines of needing to fit anyone's idea of what I should be as a transsexual person. I picked the 1999 alternative trans flag because it was designed by an ftm guy like me! It's also transsexual inclusive, and I am loud and proud about that label. Whatever gender I am perceived as or percieve myself as I will always be transsexual and that's beautiful. I'll always be true to myself.

I love you! Your identity is real! Even if it can only be online, even if like me you want to be out and can't. Keep pushing. Keep going. Happy pride.
