Heart Like A Truck
Simon 'Ghost' Riley x Reader
Simon knew you as a care-free person. Always laid-back and nonchalant. You kept a level head during times when he would get in over his own. What he didn't know about was your long drives in his truck whenever he was gone. You felt closer to him whenever you were behind the wheel. You only drove his truck so that it didn't get messed up from staying idle for too long. Especially since he could be gone for months at a time.
You kept his truck going so he could keep going when he got home. Simon always had projects to do whenever he got home, most of which needed his truck for heavy hauls. Needed to freshen up the flower beds? He's taking his truck to get eight or nine bags of cedar chips. You ordered a new desk? He's using his truck to pick up the new one and hauling the old one to a charity shop. Little things like that is why you take care of his truck. Because, in a way, his truck felt like an extension of him. A little beat up, but still reliable.
You never told Simon that you drive his truck when he's gone. Why would you? You seen it as repaying him for all he does for you. When he came home you acted as if you haven't touched it, never drove it. All of that came to a head when you and Simon went out for drinks with the task force. He told you he'd be sober so you guys took his truck. But you knew how Johnny and Kyle were.
It started with one drink.
One turned into two.
Two turned into three.
Three turned into a whole contest to see who could out-drink the others.
You and Price watched their antics. He leaned over and asked if he should take you guys home and Simon could pick up his truck in the morning. You looked at him and said you'd take him home in his truck. Price laughed and placed a hand on your shoulder. "He's lucky to have you. You know tha'?" You nodded at his words and went back to watching the guys.
Simon won the drinking match...at a cost. He could barely walk, let alone stand. His Manchester accent was laid on thick to a point you could've swore he was incoherent. It took you and Price to get him into the truck. You helped Price get Kyle and Johnny into his vehicle before leaving.
You bid your goodbyes and started the truck. Simon was so drunk he didn't even recognize where he was or who he was with. This lead to him saying a bunch of things you never would've been told otherwise.
"Ya kno' I got a pretty bird waiting fo' me?" He slurred.
You nodded your head and gave a little yes to his words.
He goes on and on praising you and how you're so good to him. You smiled bigger than you ever thought you could, even cried happy tears at a few points. Once you guys made it home, you parked his truck in his usual spot and did your best to drag him into the house. You managed to get him to the couch and that's as far as you could get him to go. You called Price to let him know you made it home safe. After the call, you turned around to find Simon passed out. You covered him with a blanket and got painkillers and a big glass of water to set on the coffee table for when he wakes up.
The next morning was sheer chaos. Simon woke up so confused on how he got home. He seen his truck in the driveway and the worse case scenarios popped into his mind.
"Did one of the guys drive his truck? No, that wouldn't have happened. Where were you? Did you guys get into a fight? Is that why he woke up on the couch? Did he hurt you? Are you even home? Damn it where are you?"
His thoughts were racing in his mind at rapid speed. Each one causing him to worry more and more. That was until he saw you sitting in the backyard with a cuppa watching the birds as they flew from tree to tree. He walked outside, the sun was brutal on his eyes, but he didn't care. He sat beside you.
"Glad to see you awake darlin'." You say with a warm smile.
"What happened last night lovie? How did we get home?" He asked with slight worry.
You hated when he was worried so you told him everything from the moment you both walked into the bar to the very end of the night. Simon was put as ease knowing nothing bad had happened last night, but was stunned that you drove his truck home.
"I thought you didn't know how to drive it?" He asked.
"Si, I drive your truck all the time when your gone. Can't have it not start when you get home because it stayed idle for too long." You explained like it was normal. It was normal, but to Simon it was news to him.
"Why do you drive it? You don't have to do all that." He said.
"Because your truck is a lot like you. It needs a little love."
All he could so was smile at your little comparison. He knew deep down that "a little love" from you was a major understatement.

Am I Okay?
Simon 'Ghost' Riley x Reader
Simon wasn't one for bragging. He was humble in that sense. You, on the other hand, loved to brag. Especially when it came to your man. One day, you were hanging out with friends at a small cafe and they could tell something was up.
"Hey Y/N, you been acting different the last handful of times we've hung out. What's that about? Got a man?" One of your friends asked.
"Do I have a man? Damn right I do! He's the best one there is." You replied.
The whole table of friends began to laugh and then curiousity struck. The qusstions came rolling in like wildfire, and you were happy to answer every one.
"What's he like?" Another friend asked.
"Where do I start? Well, I'll get this out of the way. He's a six foot four dream, I can tell you that." You started your ramble.
The whole table began to pretend swoon.
"6'4! Where did you find this man? I might need to go there for research purposes." The whole table began laughing again at how wild your friend's response was.
"Well, we met at a bar. When he walked in I was in complete awe. But, oh my gosh is he dreamy on the inside too. He says what he means and actually means it. He's funny...ish, smart, not to mention good-looking. I could go on and on." Your ramble was coming to an end until your wildly endearing friend asked another question.
"That's really cute and all, but is he? You know? Keeping you satisfied in the bedroom?"
The whole table was a harmony of "oo's" looking in your direction.
"We're not going to talk about that here." You blushed as you went to take a drink from your water.
The whole table howled in laughter at your response or the one you didn't say in this case.
After the laughter had died down, one friend spoke, "Uh Y/N? There's guy that's been looking over at our table for the past twenty minutes. Do you think we're being too loud?"
You turned around to see the man she was referring to. He had light blonde hair trimmed to a buzzcut, a black surgical mask covering his face, and deep bown eye-oh my gosh it's Simon. You blushed even harder then. You thought Simon was still deployed. Not anymore apparently!
"Well this is awkward." You say.
"What do you mean? You know him?" One friend asked.
"That's the guy I've been talking about for the past twenty minutes." You whispered which soon turned to laughing.
The whole was in shock. Some were doing double-takes at you and your boyfriend. Others were laughing with you. It was a whole mess. After everything was regulated, you bid your friends goodbye so you could talk to Simon. You walk over to his table a smile.
"All done talking to your friends about me?" He asked.
"I guess you could say that. Want to go home?" You retorted.
Simon got up out of his seat and looked down at you. "Been waiting for you ever since I got back."
You smiled as you both walked to his truck. The drive home was full of carpool kareoke (mainly from you) with some questions sprinkled throughout. Once home, you had a game plan. A nice warm shower for the both of you, Chinese takeout, some comfy clothes and sleep. The shower was relaxing, the food was delicious, the clothes were comfortable, and the bed was nice and warm. As you drifted off to sleep Simon lay awake thinking about what you said about him. He couldn't believe he was all of those things to you. He never thought he would be described as a dream. He never thought anyone would speak that highly of him in a romantic sense. Hell, he didn't think he would ever get romantically involved with someone as much as he has with you. He checked his pulse to see if he still alive because it all felt like a dream. He took a deep breath and let it go. It reminded him that he was still human. He looked over at your sleeping form and smiled. He planted a kiss on top of your head and went to sleep himself. Simon was okay with being in love with you as much as you are with him.

Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4
Part 5 of Simon 'Ghost' Riley x Military!Reader
Six weeks later...
Your medical leave had come to an end and it was time to go back to base. You were taking it easy. You woke up twenty minutes till six like you always did. You slipped on your casual base clothes which consisted of an army green top, khaki cargo pants, and steel toe boots. You ditched the mask as there was no use for it anymore. Simon had already left the house so it was just you and your thoughts. You played out everything that had happened before your injury, and made a personal gane plan for how you would move forward. Number one was don't interact too much with Simon, or Ghost in this case. You couldn't leave room for assumptions and rumors to spread. Especially since you were a subordinate. Number two was tell the 141 very little detail about your boyfriend. Can't have them put two and two together. It could hurt both of your careers. Those were your rules and you going to stick by them.
You parked your car and walked into the base. It felt different even though nothing changed. Price was the first to greet you. He smiled as he shook your hand and welcomed you back. You couldn't be more grateful for a Captain like him. Not making a big spectacle, but also not entirely ignoring you. You caught up with Soap and Gaz in the mess hall. Both of them were excited to see you back. Soap told you about all of the jokes and pranks you missed out on. Gaz would chime in every once in a while to either correct an over-exaggerated detail or tell you about another thing that's not allowed on base now. You took it all in with smiles and laughs.
"So bonnie, what have you been up to?" Soap asked.
"Oh you know, lounging around my home. Nothing new." You replied.
"And your boyfriend?" Gaz chimed in.
"He's fine. Treated me like a queen the whole time I was home." You said.
The two men nodded in approval.
You three finished your breakfast and headed to the breifing room. Price was waiting, along with Ghost. You avoided eye contact with Ghost as you sat across from him as Price began breifing everyone on their next mission.
"We just need to gather intel on this group's operations. It should be a simple in-and-out mission, but you can never be to certain. Grasshopper, I want you and Ghost to infiltrate their hideout and gather as much intel as you can. Anything that could take them down."
Your heart sank, but you didn't argue. When Price gave an order all you could do was follow through. You finally looked at Ghost and gave him a small nod. "Copy that Captain." You said turning to look at Price. "Good, we'll be leaving at 0600 tomorrow. Get good rest everyone, you're going to need it." Price said, bringing the breifing to a close.
As you walked out of the room, Soap slung an arm over your shoulders. "Wanna go spar in the gym to blow off steam?" You were suprised at his offer, but you needed the training so you accepted. Ghost watched this encounter occur in front of him and was a tad jealous, but he didn't let that anger him. He knew you wouldn't go behind his back. You were loyal to your core and that was something Ghost respected.
In the gym, you and Soap geared up to spar. Gaz and Ghost sat close by to watch. Once you fitted yourself with the proper safety gear and padding, you got into a fighting stance as you watched Soap like a hawk. "Gotta say, for someone who's so skilled at diffusing a bomb, you sure are slow to gear up for sparring match." You taunted. "Aye, just tryin' to go easy on ya. Give ya' time before I win." Soap retorted. You hit back with, "You ain't got to easy on me Sudsy. Just don't pout when I beat you."
The trash talk was cut short by Gaz shouting to hurry up and fight already. You both got in position and the sparring session began. Punches were thrown, kicks landed with force, and it was dead silent. The only sounds present were grunts from either you or Soap, the impact of hits landing your padded bodies, and the occasional encouragement from Gaz. The match went on for what felt like hours. Both you and Soap were wearing each other down to a point where nobody knew who would be the victor. That was until you caught Soap in an unprotected stance and went for the kill. You had him pinned under you, too weak to fight back. You leaned down closer to his face and whispered, "I told you I'd beat you."
Ghost was the first to enter the ring and pick you up before you collapsed from exhaustion. Gaz followed behind to check on Soap. Needless to say, it took a lot before you would back down from a fight. Ghost couldn't have been more proud of you. When the evening rolled around, the four of you sat in the mess hall laughing about earlier events and catching Price up on what he missed. Of course, the only one who didn't speak was Ghost. "Aye LT.? You're quieter than usual. Got anything to add?" Soap asked. He shrugged his shoulders. "What can I say? You got your arse handed to you by Grasshopper there." He said gesturing towards you. You could feel a little bit of pride in his tone.
It was the day of deployment. You woke up earlier than you needed to, gathered your things, and made it to the heli-pad. It's not that you were an over-achiever, it's that you were more nervous than usual. Your mind always went to the worst scenario possible. You calculated every possible thing that could go wrong. That might've been why the next person to join you on the heli-pad was Ghost.
He sat next to you and rested a hand on your knee. "No use gettin' nervous love." He spoke in a low tone. "I know, but my mind can't help it." You said in the same hushed tone. Ghost knew you couldn't control it, so he reached into his vest pocket and pulled out a stress ball to place in your hand. You looked at the stress ball then to Ghost and smiled. "Figured you'd need it back." He said, and you could've sworn he winked. You two sat there in more comfortable silence than before. As the minutes went by, the rest of the team started showing up. Once everyone was there, it was time to board the heli and embark on the mission.
Once you guys made it to the safe house, it was strategizing and setting up any equipment necessary. You knew tomorrow you would be with Ghost on an extraction mission. Simple. In and out. Soap took watch for the night which let you get some rest, but you couldn't sleep. Ghost noticed, he always did, and moved closer to you. "Get some rest Sergeant. You're goin' to need it." He whispered with a slight gruffiness in his voice. You nodded and closed your eyes, shuffling to try and get comfortable. "I won't let nothin' happen to ya." He continued. With that affirmation, you were able to get some sleep.
The nervousness didn't entirely go away, but you were put at ease temporarily.
Meanwhile, Gaz heard the faint whispers from his Lieutenant....something wasn't adding up.

My Boy
Simon Riley x Single Mom!Reader
You and Simon have been dating for almost two years now, and you two were about to take the next big step. Moving in together. You never thought you'd meet someone as great as Simon, especially since you were a packaged deal. Your son, now six years old, was the light of your life. You had him without his biologoical "father" in the picture. You wouldn't trade him for the world, but he did make your dating life a tad difficult. Not that you would complain because it did show you potential dates' true colors before the date ended.
So when you first told Simon about your child, he simply smiled and asked about your son. What he liked, disliked, his personality, everything. You were taken back as nobody ever considered your child before. The first time Simon met your son, everything clicked. He showed up with flowers for you, and a toy truck for your son. From then on, dates with Simon were frequent and you even let your son tag along as Simon insisted he'd come too.
Now here you were, standing in your new shared home with Simon and your little one. Everything got unpacked in a span of two days as Simon invited the guys from the task force to help with the furniture and heavy lifting. One night, while Simon was deployed, you were sitting on the couch reading while your son was on the floor coloring. The TV played softly in the background as your son scribbled away. You were lost in your book until you heard your son say, "Mommy look!"
You looked up and seen the paper your held up a little too close to your face. You carefully grabbed the paper and held it out so you could see his masterpiece. It was a doodle of you, him, and Simon. What caught your eye though was the words above each person. 'Mom' above you, 'Me' above your son, and 'Dad' above what looked like Simon.
Dad
Your heart skipped a beat. You never realized just how integral Simon has become in not only your life, but your son's. He was always there for your son. When you signed your child up for junior baseball, Simon was at every game he could attend when he was home. He even played catch with him whenever you all came home from a pretty long game. He taught your kid about stealth to the best of his ability just so your kiddo could scare you on Halloween.
You smiled and looked at your son. His eyes beaming with happiness. "Tell you what, let's put this on the fridge for when dad gets home." You say. Your son jumps up and down as he follows you to the kitchen. You grab a heart-shaped magnet and stuck the picture on the fridge. As days went on you would look at the picture first thing in the morning as you sipped your tea. You wondered what Simon would think of his new title.
Two Weeks Later
You laid in bed as it was 11:30 p.m. on a Friday night. Your son was sound asleep in his room down the hall, but you couldn't sleep. Simon was supposed to be home last week, but you could only guess the misson took longer than expected. You were snapped out of your thoughts when you hear a truck park in the drive. It was him.
You were giddy with excitement, but waited for him to make it in the house and into bed. About thirty minutes went by and you grew concerned. You knew he was in the house, but after that it was still. No footsteps, no beating and banging in the kitchen, just silence. You quietly got out of bed and tiptoed downstairs. That's when you seen him. Standing in front of the fridge. "Love?" You whispered. "Are you alright?" He jumped and turned to look at you. That's when you seen it. Small tears streaming down his face. He steps closer and pulls you into the tightest hug he has ever given you. "I missed you two so much darling." That's all you had to hear from him before you were tearing up too. After a few minutes in each other's embrace and calming down, you both snuck upstairs. Simon took a shower while you slipped back into bed. He came out of the bathroom wearing a grey shirt and black sweatpants. As he got into bed and wrapped his arms around you he whispered, "I'm so lucky to have you two in my life." He kissed your forehead and pulled you close.
The next morning you woke up in an empty bed. "Don't tell me that was all a dream." You thought. You hear movement downstairs and immediately know you weren't dreaming. Then you hear another pair of footsteps, but they're smaller. You bedroom door creaks open and you see your son's face. "Mom, there's someone in the house." He whispers. That's when you notice the baseball bat in his hands. It takes a lot to not laugh at his antics, and you tell him that you should both investigate. You both slowly step downstairs and into the kitchen. Your son stops dead in his tracks. He recognizes that stature and the blond hair. "Dad!" He shouts as he runs toward Simon.
Simon turns around and bends down to pick him up. Laughter fills the room as you realize that even though Simon isn't biologically your son's dad, your son is definitely Simon's boy.

CW: Difficult family dynamics, weight-shaming, use of y/n once, Johnny being a walking green flag.
Johnny could tell something was wrong.
Why would anything be wrong? You got a call from your mom asking if you wanted to have a family dinner next month. You said you would talk with your boyfriend and figure out when you would make it. He could hear the suprise in your mother's tone as soon as you mentioned a boyfriend. He could also see you flinch slightly at the sudden change of tone.
You never talked about your family much. Nor did you ever invite Johnny to any of your family gatherings. He couldn't understand why you liked spending all of your time with his family. Until now.
It had been two days after the phone call and you never brought up the dinner invite again. Late that night Johnny asked, "Why can't we go your folk's place?" You were caught off guard by his question. "I don't know. I just have a feeling it won't be worth it." Johnny looked at you puzzled. "Why wouldn't it be worth it bonnie? Ashamed of me or something?" You quickly head for the defense. "What? No Johnny! Absolutely not! I could never be ashamed of you. I just don't want you to meet my family. They can be...critical. That's the best way to put it." Johnny let out a sigh of relief. "That's what this is about? You're worried about how your folk's will take me? Love, they won't hurt me. If they hurt you, I'll make damn sure they never do it again. I can't see my bonnie cry." You knew you would get nowhere with trying to talk Johnny out of going so you relented.
The drive there was quiet at first. Johnny could feel how tense you were just from looking at you. He slowly turned on the radio and started messing with the aux. He settled with some music he knew you'd like. From there, the car ride was a lot more lively and little less tense.
Once in the driveway to your parent's home, you looked at Johnny before getting out of the car. You walked into the house, no knocking at the door or waiting for someone to open it for you. Johnny followed in behind you as you lead him inside. That's when he seen your family already sitting at the table eating. You knew this would happen, your mom would give you a time to show up, but start the occasion early to make you look like you were late. Always had to make you look like the fool, but this time you had a witness in Johnny.
"Look who finally showed up." Your mom spoke. The whole family now looked in your direction.
"I'm not the one who's late. You told me specifically 5:30 and what time is it now? 5:15." You retorted. Johnny immediately clocked the bullshit your mother tried to pull. He was there when you and your mom were on the phone discussing plans. Hell, you even had her on speaker so he could listen too. He knew she was lying, but it wasn't his place to start something...yet.
After fixing your plates and grabbing an extra chair from the living room, you both sat down next to each other. Your sister looked at you in false amazement. "So how much did you pay for him to be your date for the night?" She asked in all seriousness. It caught you off guard, but Johnny spoke up, "Not a damn thing. We've been together for quite some time now right bonnie?" He nudged your shoulder a little to get you out of your daze. All you could do was nod your head and lean on him a little. Your sister rolled her eyes and continued eating what was left on her plate.
"So what do you do for a living...John, was it?" Your dad asked.
"It's Johnny, and I work in the Special Forces. Military, if you will?" He responded to your family's questions with such confidence that made you both enamoured and jealous.
Then it was your mother's turn to ask questions, but they were only directed at you.
"How did you two meet? Where is he from? Have you met his family? How many times have you visited? Are you two moving in together soon? Is marriage on the table? Have y'all talked about kids? How does he put up with you?"
All of her questions were rapid fire, but you stood your ground. Johnny continued eating his food with a little grin on his face. Proud of his girl standing up to her family. Until the very last question: "Have you finally lost weight? It's been so long."
Johnny's head snapped up from his plate and looked at you then at your mother before simply saying, "I think that's uncalled for." Your mother completely ignored him as she leaned a little over the table. "Do I need to repeat myself sweetheart? Have you finally lost weight?" You looked at her stone-faced. "Yes I have. Is there a problem?" You mom held her finger up, got up from the table, and went down to a room in the hallway. Johnny looked at you with a little worry in his features. You smiled and cupped his face in one of your hands.
Your mom came back with a scale. Your sister laughed at how 'over-the-top' mom was being. Your dad didn't say a word and minded his business. Johnny, on the other hand, was livid. "What's that for?" His tone was lower than before. "She said she lost weight. I wanted to see how much. Come over here and get on this scale Y/N." Your mom gestured towards you. Johnny grabbed your wrist with a deadly look in his eye. He got up from the table, dragging you along with him. He got in your mom's face and told her, "If you think this is funny, then you're a sick kind of woman. She doesn't need you embarrassing her. Don't expect us to come back for another dinner. Good night." He pulled you lightly towards the door leaving your family in shock behind you.
He brought you out to the car and opened the passenger door for you to get in. Once inside he closed the door and got into his seat on the driver's side. The drive back home was quiet until Johnny broke the silence.
"I'm proud of you bonnie. You stood your ground and you stayed strong. You didn't deserve to be treated like that love. I'll take you out to a proper dinner at some point to make up for that."
You smiled warmly with tears brimming your eyes as your bottom lip quivered. Johnny rested his hand on your thigh, shushing you until you both made it home.
He carried you from the car and into the house. You both took a nice, warm shower, got into some comfy clothes, and layed on the couch together. He held on to you tighter that night, but you didn't complain. Because you had Johnny, and that's all that mattered.

Your heart or mine?
Simon 'Ghost' Riley x Reader
Simon doesn't know how he got here. One moment, he was chatting up some pretty bird at a bar. The next, he was at her place the morning after enjoying breakfast. He doesn't know if it was the whiskey he had or the wine she was sipping, but it lead to something. Something he couldn't quite put a name to. Whatever it was, he couldn't get enough of it. Every meet up, every conversation, it was like an addiction. One thing he swears it wasn't was love. He would deny it at every corner.
When she would send text messages hoping he would come home safe? That wasn't because she loved him, she just cared about his safety.
When she would invite him to her place for dinner? That wasn't love, it was her being considerate.
The time she bought him a new five piece set of balaclavas for his birthday because his were getting too worn out? Love? What's that? She was just being kind to him, right?
All of that changed one night. They were both cuddled up next to each other in the dead of night. The pitch black darkness was only enough to conceal the intense blush on Simon's face when he heard her say, "I love you."
He realized in that moment the one thing he was denying and running from was staring him dead in the face. Love had finally found his heart because he actually responded to her.
"I love you too, sweetheart."

I'M SORRY I'VE BEEN ON A SLIGHT HIATUS, BUT I PROMISE I'LL BE BACK FOR YOU GUYS!!!!
I have a list of things I'll have to finish up once I get back into the groove of writing.
The list includes:
- Finishing my Simon x Military!Reader series (My goal is for it to be eight chapters)
- Write the story based off of "Your Heart or Mine?" For Simon.
- Write some more stuff about Price.
- Write some stuff about Soap.
- Possibly write a story about Gaz x Model!Reader.
I got a lot on my plate, and I hope to get the first two on the list out of the way. Thank you to everybody who has been enjoying my work so far! I hope to get out of this funk soon and create more fun stories.

Part 1 Part 2 Part 3
Part 4 of Simon 'Ghost' Riley x Military!Reader
Smion looked around the infirmary looking for an exit that wasn't past the front desk. His eyes finally laid on the fire exit and he smirked. He casually walked towards the fire exit door and slipped through without anybody noticing. He knew he would have to explain himself later, but he didn't care. The last thing he needed was for his team to find out he was in love.
Meanwhile, you finished packing the last of your things. It wasn't much. Mainly just double-checking that you had all of your stuff. You let out a breath of accomplishment as you hear multiple knocks at the door. You opened the door to be greeted by a bear hug from Johnny followed by low chuckles from Kyle and Price. "Oh Bonnie! I'm glad to see you up and walking fine." Johnny said with relief. "We were pretty worried about you. Had to come see you before your discharge." Gaz spoke. Price stepped forward with a folder. Handing it to you with a small smile. "I need you to fill out a few things for your medical leave. You don't have to do it today, but I will need it by the end of the week." Price said. You nodded your head. "Yes sir, copy that." That reply did get a low chuckle from Price. "Who's taking you home Bonnie? Surely you're not driving yourself home, are ya?" Johnny asked with slight concern. "Oh no, I'll call my boyfriend to pick me up. It'll be fine." You said. Gaz gave you a confusing look, "What happened to 'my boyfriend is gonna kill me if he sees me like this'? He have a change of heart?" You cringed slightly at the sentence repeated back to you. "Oh yeah, he's cool. We talked it over last night. Nothing serious." You say, playing it cool. Gaz was still skeptical, but the other guys believed your words so he couldn't say anything.
After bidding your goodbyes, you made your way out of the base and walked to the farthest end of the parking lot. You knew Simon's truck would be parked all the way at the back and you weren't disappointed. You walked up to the passenger side door and tapped on the window so he would unlock the door. He looked in your direction and leaned over to open the door from the inside. "Can you get in, love?" He asked as you pulled yourself up and into his truck. "Is that even a question, darling?" You retort, causing Simon to laugh under his breath and shake his head.
Once you made it to you guys' shared apartment, you immediately went to the bedroom. As soon as your head hit the pillow you almost moaned at the newfound comfort in yours and Simon's bed. Simon stood in the doorway with faintest smile on his face. "Oh you love the bed more than me huh?" Simon asked, his deep voice making the atmosphere even more comforting. You looked up at him and smiled, "Yes. Why? Jealous?" He rolled his eyes and walked towards you. He climbed into bed with you and held you in his arms. He took in your scent and kissed the top of your head. "It feels good to be back home." Simon whispered. You look up at him and give him a slow, passionate kiss.
Simon only deepened it until it became a full blown makeout session. Your hands made their way all over his body as his carressed every curve your body had to offer. He gave your ass a nice squeeze which made you gasp. This gave him easy access to slip his tongue into your mouth. Tasting every last drop of your saliva. You figured he tasted enough and pushed him onto his back. Straddling his thighs you looked down at him with a smirk as you slightly tilted your head. Simon looks at you in suprise whilst trying to catch his breath. You've never seen him this caught off guard, why not have fun with it? You get to work sliding his pants off of him and taking yours off too. You were already wet from the most simple of foreplay, and it was about to get even better. Simon was rock hard. His red tip leaking with precum, begging to be satisfied. You got back on top of him and aligned yourself to his dick. You slid in just fine. Gasps and sighs escaped from both of your mouths as you adjusted to his sheer size alone. After a moment, you began to rock your hips. Simon wasn't saying a damn word. There were only little grunts and hums that would occasionally slip. He tugged at your shirt, a little sign that he wanted you completely bare. You smiled and took your shirt off. Simon smiled too, for a second. He takes in your now bare body until he sees the stitches from your injury. Any lust or passion he may have had was long gone after seeing the small pattern of black stitches lining a small portion of your right side. You didn't tell Simon they had to go in and remove the bullet. It was the only thing keeping you from bleeding out entirely, but it couldn't stay in forever. Simon looked up at you, concerned. You looked down and seen your patched up wound. "Oh, baby it's nothing. Just a few stitches. They'll be out in no time." You tried to reassure him it was okay, but he couldn't continue. He helped you off of him and went to cuddling you again. He held on tighter than he ever has before. He couldn't bear the idea of losing you. You stayed in his embrace, letting him take time to process everything that led up to this point.
"Why didn't you go with me?" You whispered, breaking any and all silence there was before.
"I was afraid to get too close. Didn't know it was you, love. I figured you were strong enough to handle yourself. I'm regretting it now. I wish I could go back and protect you. You needed me, but I was too stupid to care. I'm sorry love." Simon explained, kissing the top of your head.
"It's okay babe. It wasn't, I repeat, wasn't your fault. I was the stupid one for hiding who I truly was. Which made you think I was someone different that you didn't want to get close to. I get it baby. I love you more than words can describe. You mean everything to me. Don't ever forget that."
After your little speech, you and Simon drifted off to sleep. No gunshots, no monitors, none of Price's snoring.
It was just the two of you.

Gaz 100% could pull a model if he wanted to. What happens when he does?
- He's very lowkey about it. Doesn't say a damn thing about you or what you do for a living.
- He always gets a sneak peek of your photoshoots.
-He even helps update your portfolio. Sometimes he'll slip in photos he took himself.
- Modeling seasons were always a blast. You traveled around to world just to walk up and down a runway and have your picture taken.
- That, and you always had to get Kyle a souviner from every country and city you went to.
- Don't get me started on his wardrobe.
- He has decent clothes, nothing expensive or flashy, just decent enough to style.
- You style his clothes whenever you guys go out on dates.
- You give him compliments. "Look at you! You could be on the cover of GQ magazine."
- Imagine Kyle's suprise when you send the first ever magazine you were on the front cover of.
- He's lowkey about it. Plays it off like it was something his mom sent him.
- He reads it while he's deployed. Notices you did an interview with the magazine too.
- Imagine his shock when he reads that you announced you were happily taken. In a magazine. With you on the front cover. And you sent it to him.
- Gets back home and overhears a bunch of recruits on base talking about models they liked.
- When one brings up you. Kyle is proud as hell to hold up the magazine and say that she was taken.
- "It's in writing. She said it herself."
- While everyone is complaining and wondering who the lucky bastard is. Kyle is in his bunk quietly laughing his ass off.
