why you shouldn’t worry about how or when your manifestation will appear (with proof)

last summer, i learned to trust in the universe’s divine plan. in 2023 i manifested tickets to the eras tour. and i manifested hard. i thought i did everything right. said all the affirmations. made the assumptions. the tickets belonged to me. in the 3d, the shows closest to me were completely sold out. any resale tickets were enough to buy a shitty used car. she came and went from my town, and the tickets just… never appeared. i wept for 24 hours straight. disappointed in myself and the universe.

a few months later, i finally had the chance to buy tickets, except it was to a paris show in may 2024. and i do not live in france. i don’t have the money to just fly on a whim, but i was already interested in studying abroad. i decided this had to be the universe finally delivering. i said what the hell and bought the tickets for €140.

it’s important to note that my uni has a very competitive study abroad program. at that point, nothing was guaranteed in the 3d. some of my friends thought i was delusionaaaaal. but it was now or never! i applied, got into my program, and after an incredible semester exploring europe, i finally saw taylor swift in concert. second row in the pit.

not only did i receive my manifestation, but it came in 10x better than i could have imagined in 2023. i wish i could tell that version of myself what was to come, but i can only tell you all instead. manifestation is real. keep going.

sometimes i think im not dramatic, but then i remember that when i was in the running to direct a production of romeo & juliet at my uni, i went to stratford-upon-avon, knelt at shakespeare’s grave, and begged the universe to be selected.

we sold-out all five of our shows. :)

the secret to being the greatest (if you’re so inclined) is to literally just be one step ahead of your peers at all times. figure out what the median of success is and push yourself to go further, delve deeper, be better.

can we please please please learn to differentiate between things that are good but devalued because of their association with women (caring for children, being compassionate), things that are neutral but seen negatively because of their association with women (the colour pink, having long hair), and things that are bad but associated with women because of misogyny (being materialistic, being stupid) because otherwise we’re gonna keep getting takes like “being gender nonconforming is anti feminist” and “not studying for your classes is feminist”
