I'm watching BNHA and I like it honestly, but like every shonen anime we get to the point where the main character gets overpowered.

I'm on season 5 and it has not happened, but it's obvious that it's where it's headed and every time I get frustrated.

Why there always has to be some secret power that no one knew about, but the MC "woke it" (I hope it's clear what I mean) because the time has come or he is the chosen one.

Deku was never my favourite, but I didn't dislike him either. The whole point of his character was that even a quirkless kid like him could become a hero and now I know we'll just get some op s*it and plot armor.

I know that it's a characteristic of shonen anime/manga, but it still p*sses me of

But HIM. He is a fox so he will probably be cunning/sly and probably he will put up a good facade just like Azul. PLUS his VA seems to be Tomokazu Sugita, so we'll get a deep voice soothing the ear🫠

Yesterday I witnessed a miracle. A once in a lifetime event.

As you all probably know yesterday was Riddle's birthday. As always we were gifted ten-fold keys.

I decided to use that tenfold for Halloween Leona (I didn't even hope for Silver since that he is a SSR). I was confident because SR are not so hard to find.

And...this happened

Last week I tried to get Halloween Vil. I didn't have many gems because someone *cough* Jamil *cough* took like 6000 gems to get home last time.

I tried to pull like five times and It didn't happen. Disappointed but not surprised.

Bye bye Vil I need the other 900 gems for Rook.

On the 19th I decided to try for Rook and Trey (my OTP) well aware that I only had three shots.

Well, long story short: I GOT BOTH OF THEM ON THE FIRST TRY!!!

There is a lesson here and it is: never doubt your OTP!

I also wanted to get the "Birthday Boy" one, but Basketball Jamil took all my gems (story for a different time).

Tbh the "Birthday Boy" one would have been more useful to my team, but I like this one better (also because there are Malleus and Lena smirking for like 3 minutes straight lmao).

I hope to get both next year💛
