Oh my gosh I'm sorry this is so late. I took another little hiatus from Tumblr oof-

Okay, so there's three parts I use, the outline and then the inner and outer shapes. I usually put the white outline on top and then the other two layers (the inside and outside of the shape) under it. Then I use clipping layers to put flags over the inner and outer shapes. I think you could also use them differently though, play around and see what works!

I colored one of them green so I could tell them apart more easily in Ibispaint X lol.

I'm also experimenting with a kind of scrapbook-y style, so here's this:

Trying out a new style, with the flags outside of the frame instead of inside. I like this one because A. Saves time trying to erase the backgrounds on the images, and B. I don't need to worry about the sparkles or outline blending in with the Tumblr background. I also like how it looks.

Anyways here are some of my Castlevania headcanons.

I want to experiment a bit more with frames and filters though. Also I think some asks got eaten? I'm not seeing any but I thought there were some, so anyone is welcome to resubmit. I can't guarantee I'll get to it in a timely manner though, as I'm still playing around with different styles.

Tragic: Dark mode user tries out light mode and discovers that all of their icons look weird because the white borders and sparkles blend in with the background 😔
