What are the requirements to be a mortician?

I know you need some kind of degree and you have to pass a test but I have no clue what it is. Please help.

Currently at a birthday party and im having a debilitating wave of nostalgia.

My best friends puppy triggered this replay of memories. He is super playful and loves to bite things but normally holds off with biting people. He doesn’t hold back with me. He bites and claws and rough houses and I try to contain it to my arms. Well I took him outside to try and calm him down and I noticed that some bumps had developed on my arms from his teeth.

When I was a kid my grandparents bred/sold black lab puppies and I played with the dogs a lot. I got used to having these same bumps and cuts all over.

Several years ago my grandparents stopped breeding dogs and sold all but one of the dogs. They did this for a few reasons, the main ones being that they were getting old and a particularly rambunctious dog had run under my grandma and broke her leg.

I haven’t had those bumps since my grandparents sold their dogs. When I felt the bumps I got a wave of childhood memories. It started with me remembering playing with the puppies but it ended up taking me through all my innocent memories of playing with my friends, making forts in the woods and role playing as animals.

While I was reminiscing the constant noise of my friends playing video games in the house (I was outside) agitated me. I grew up with no video games, minimal tv, and no phone. My friends grew up binging tv shows and playing Mario cart till midnight. They had pcs before I had my first phone.

Sorry for the ramble, I don’t even know what I was trying to say.

TL;DR: im overstimulated at a party and pissed at my friends while reminiscing about my childhood. I love having cuts on my arms and im kinda scared about what that means.

Theres a scene in my wip book that is the embodiment of “gen z will ask your pronouns before dissing you”

So, one of my characters is gender fluid and their pronouns change every day. They communicate their pronouns by a few color coded bracelets. (Blue=he/him, purple=they/them, blue+purple=he/them)

This character comes across my mc and they check their pronoun bracelet before just shitting on them in their mind.

Btw, these two have an enemies (one sided) to lovers arc.
