Looking at my homework and wondering if I'm actually fucking stupid. I could do this before. It's the first fucking week back and I don't even think I can make it through the semester. I already have late work because I couldn't understand simple fucking instructions and I can't ask anyone for help because I already asked for help and if I ask the people who know how to help me then I'm taking advantage of them because they care about me. Everyone is busy and I just can't do this anymore. I wish I was smart.

sometimes I think about the possibility of Yuu returning home, and think about soldiers. I've heard that after the war, when soldiers came home, they were treated normally. After all, their families were just happy they were alive right? But they didn't understand that war changes a person.

And that's when I think about Yuu, who had gone through all the overblots, has scars left from that time and this time, has been manipulated and tricked by almost everyone ever, and they get home- but their parents just aren't that comforting anymore. their favorite foods taste a bit bland now, and sometimes they wait for their friends to come running with danger on their coat tails. they prepare for the worst, always in a constant state of tension, sort of how horror movies have that killer suspense-

and they break over the smallest things, because that's what happens when a soldier comes home traumatized.
