Half of the discussions I see between Canadians and Americans online these days is one or the other apologising for the fallouts.

We don't belong on opposite sides of a conflict. We're friends, neighbours, family, and allies.

In addition to attacks on trans people 🏳️‍⚧️, PoC ✊🏾, women ♀️, immigrants 🌎, and others, Idaho is now asking the Supreme Court to overturn 🏳️‍🌈 *gay marriage* 🏳️‍🌈 rights nationwide.

This would mean that people like my husband and I would not be able to get married there and may face even greater risks in the future as the MAGA government further curtails our rights.

This is not a "canary in the coal mines" situation, this is a full-on emergency
