“How dare you lay hands on my son!” 🦇⚔️

An angst filled return to my Neverland AU! This is not only the moment Silver lost his wings, but also when Lilia loses his long hair in my au. There were nocturnal fae jealous of the new diurnal fairy, Silver, that was taken in by the Wing Snatcher, Lilia Vanrouge, and they kidnapped him one day. On that fateful day, they cut off Silver’s beautiful wings, causing him to never fly again. Luckily, Sebek notices Silver’s absence and tells Lilia, who immediately searches for his son, but by the time he finds him…it’s too late. Lilia takes revenge on the fae and while dodging one of their strikes, Lilia loses his long locks.

Before Lilia can go too far, Malleus arrives and orders Lilia to stand down because even though it would be fair to rip those fae apart for what they did, it’s not right. One day I’ll draw the full comic of this moment, but for now take this little glimpse…it would even be fun to try and write this all up…but where’s the time for that 🤪 Leave any questions for the au in my inbox and I’ll answer as soon as possible! ✨

my joke for today... maleficia being forced to wear minimalist clothes so as to disguise as an employee.... inspired by that voiceline of Malleus being uncomfortable to clothes he doesn't wear XD

also ... a little hc where Maleficia is the type of grandma to say "its because you're always on that phone" (bcs i think she dislikes technology esp bcs its a human invention that give power to the humans to defeat the faes lol)but in her case, its just malleus and his little gao gao dragon 😭😭💥💥 its confiscated from him now for all eternity,,,😔😔💔💔

and the funny thing is,, she aint wrong XDD Gao Gao was one of the perpetrators in overblotting Malleus,, giving him ideas of eternally cursing us to a repeated happy dreams😭😭💥💥

also I still believe that Queen Maleficia IS THE MOST FITTING person to beat Malleus... Think about it, shes aware of the pressures of being a royalty, shes a person who loses loved ones, and shes someone who has troubles fitting with the average because of her power, like I'm JUSTTSJFGK She's so relatable to Malleus 🥹 If there's any character that would COMPLETELY understand Malleus' struggles, it would be HER. ALSO because she's more powerful than him XD ALSO because if theres anyone that could crush Malleus' prideful attitude rn, ITS HER. 😭

Just thinking about it a bit and the parallels of Malleus and Lilia just, I don’t know, makes my heart ache. They care about each other so much and we can see it throughout the events and especially now in Main Story.

The one that’s been turning in my head endlessly is how desperate they are to help the other, to save the other.

How they would do anything to keep each other alive. How they essentially show how much they love each other through these actions, which surprised them when they realized the other did the same.

Malleus puts the entire island to sleep using his UM so Lilia can’t leave. So Lilia would stay and he would be happy. So Silver and Sebek would be happy with him. They can all have their happiest dreams. Lilia doesn’t have to worry about dying or loosing magic. He’ll be alive.

In parallel with Lilia, who spent hundreds of years looking for a way for Malleus to hatch. Who developed his UM to help him find a way. Who, when Malleus was dying, risked his life so Malleus could survive, promising his life and magic to him. Promising Malleus he won’t be alone anymore and he’ll be there for them. Just to make sure Malleus lives and is happy.

Their care but also their sacrifices for each other.

All of this? For the other to live.

The price? Their magic and their life leading to their potential death.

Lilia who used his magic and lifespan who is now dying who did it all for Malleus.

And Malleus who used his magic and essentially his lifespan right now, who is slowly dying now because of his OB, who did it all for Lilia.
